Why We Need to Teach Others

2014-03-29T22:00:00.004+07:00

Teaching others is my way to learn about a subject. By teaching others, I actually teach myself. Only when I completely understand a topic, can I expose it to others. If I cannot explain an idea in plain English, even the most complicated subject, I have not learned it.

My personal reason for teaching others is complicated, and many do not share my view. I feel an obligation to share my experience with others and hope I am helping them to live a better life. I am giving them all the facts as to they need to think about a subject and make a good decision by themselves. I am sharing -- not pushing -- my knowledge, hoping to improve their life. If they do not want to accept my view, it is fine with me. I have done my job by offering my advice and understanding.

Someone might call it "unsolicited advice". What if I call their opposite approach: "egoism"? Some people simply do not want to share their experience.

If I know and understand something, and I see that the other person is hurting himself or herself or others, my moral obligation is to react. If I do not react, I feel guilty. Not reacting looks like a crime to me. Helping others to live a life with more meaning is not "unsolicited advice". When other people have taught me how to change or understand what I am doing wrong, I realized why. I am thankful for their advice; they do care about me. They are helping me.

When I see a person in my social circle suffering emotionally, I feel much better if I can help him or her to feel more satisfied or happier. I do care about the people around me, and I feel human and better when I share my knowledge with others. I do not need to hold a PhD, or to have a licence, or to be an expert if I share my sincere, learned, scientifically proven facts on a subject.
We all are able to teach each other something "small" in life. There is teaching, and there is preaching! I do not preach, just teach. Here is the difference between these two terms: When just teaching, the message is, I am not playing the role of God, and I am not your guru or authority. I am offering my learned information without saying: obey and listen to me, and accept what I say! Not at all! I am not brainwashing. I am offering my concepts to get others to see and understand on their own terms. The message should be clear, simple and understandable for everyone, allowing others to find their own evidence.

If I can help others to make their own decisions – I am a good teacher.

How To Succeed with Learning from Others

2014-03-29T21:55:00.001+07:00

There is no doubt that everyone wants to succeed in life. The problem, of course, is how. While there are different approaches to answering this question, but in this article I want to emphasize one principle: Whenever possible, you should avoid things taught himself the hard way. To that end, I believe it is important for you to learn from the experience of others.

Now we know how important it is, here are three ways to learn from others:

1. Reading

Reading allows you to learn from many great people. You do have limited personal access to them, but you have almost unlimited access to their experience through books.

If you think you are too busy to read, try to think about what I've said Gen. James Mattis to fellow military officers:

"If you feel too busy to read, then the problem is you learn from your own experience (or a member of your team) the hard way. By reading, you learn through the experience of others, generally a better way to do things, especially in the areas where our work is the fatal consequences of the inability and absolute in mind for the young men.

We have struggled on this planet for 5000 years and we should take advantage of their experience. Filling body bags and fly it reminds us of the moral message will be the price of incompetence in our profession. "

You may not be in the military, but I believe the same principle applies: reading is a shortcut of its own to learn things the hard way.

2. L:isten to the audio

Just like reading books, listening to audio allows you to consume information. The good thing is that you can do it while doing other activities. For example, you can listen to podcasts while working or doing chores. This way, you can learn without taking extra time. It is a good way to maximize your time.

3. Finding a mentor

Finding a good mentor is not easy, but if you can find them is like gold. In contrast to previous methods, you can interact with your mentor. They then can give advice specific to your situation.

Lastly, whatever method you use to learn from others, there is one thing that must be considered: writing down the lessons that you can, as this will help remind you to stay on track.

Inspiration About Dreams

2011-02-10T12:32:00.000+07:00

Imagination is the preview of life's coming attractions. - Imagination is a picture of the life to come. "AlbertEinstein

The experience of visiting the USA with 60 business partners KK Indonesia in April 2010 and then very impressive. This experience has also inspired me about how great dream. This time I wanted to share inspiration about the challenges and the power behind the dream and some things that make it easier dream come true soon.

Viewed from the ability of distributors to develop the business and get a free ticket to the USA streets show so great the power of dreams. Dream to set foot in the City of uncle Sam has also given the power to dozens of distributors such as it passes through a fairly complicated process, ranging from warm when we have to queue to do the visa application, interviewed, immigration checks at airports in Los Angeles are pretty tight. The struggle had paid off when we managed to gain a foothold there and enjoy a vacation to Disneyland, Universal Studios, Hollywood, Grand Canyon, Golden Gate Bridge and Las Vegas.

All very admirable, but the most memorable is Disneyland, Golden Gate Bridge and and the Skywalk. Based on the information I have ever read, a spectacular third man's work is started from a dream. Means true that what people say about the importance of dreams and imagination.

Unfortunately not many people who prove that their dreams really have incredible strength and evaporated. Why? Let's look at some of the causes and remedies.

Dreams can be lost just because of the negative influences of others and the environment, for example in the form of pessimistic words to provocation. So that dream and smart ideas that you have as if it was not useful at all. Siasatilah negative impact of any nature with caution and is not influenced by negative words.

On the occasion a holiday to the USA, we visited the Golden Gate Bridge. Bridges along the 1.7 miles and has a 6 point was the brainchild of Joseph B. Strauss. In the past when new Joseph sparked the idea in 1917, not a few people who said that his dream was impossible.

But for Joseph, the dream is power. For 13 years he did not despair trying to convince a lot of parties. Until finally the bridge was built at a cost of 35 million USD and stood majestic as it is now. Golden Gate Bridge is one of the "7 Wonders of the USA."

Fear became the second reason which prevents us from achieving a dream. In a process will be a lot happening, including the emergence of a challenge. This can lead to pessimism, and if left unchecked would eventually make us stop before reaching the target that we expect.

Resist fear with faith and action. Confidence in the dream will make you able to maintain positive expectations, while ensuring the action yourself more advanced and get satisfaction. Beliefs and actions are consistent will be able to defeat terror while trying to achieve dreams.

While in Disneyland, I am reminded of a story when Disneyland opened. At that Walt Disney had died and one guest asked the wife of Walt Disney, "It would be happy if Mr Walt Disney view all this." His wife said that Walt Disney saw Disneyland long before the place was established. Because Walt Disney was convinced that his dreams would come true and have done the maximum before the dream really materialized.

In addition, the spiritual power is also needed to increase confidence, remains optimistic despite facing failure. For spiritual strength to help us have a sense of responsibility, creativity and sincerity in the works. Even if successful, spiritual strength also remains necessary for us to be positive and to realize the dream of return is greater.

While walking on the transparent bridge the Grand Canyon, I was like flying through the air. The experience is thrilling and the view from above is also beautiful. A human child's work is remarkable and very inspiring, that's the impression that dawned in my mind at that time.

"Skywalk" above the Grand Canyon was a smart idea to a businessman, David Jim. Jim is David's dream will not be realized if not supported by the resources, knowledge and good teamwork. U-shaped bridge as high as 1219 meters above the Colorado River that can accommodate 120 people at once it realized also thanks to the support of an architect named Mark Ross Johnson and many more people who are not exposed to his name. Therefore if you want your big dreams come true then make sure you already have the resources, knowledge and good cooperation with others.

That is an inspiration of a dream, that every dream would be realized. Dare To Dream because there are ways to deal with challenges. That is why after a vacation from the USA, is now also increasingly steady our steps to realize the vision of HH Indonesia Go 1% before the year 2015.

Fear: Fear can hold you back from achieving your potential. Many times, people are paralyzed by a fear of failure. You can be so afraid of failing, that you never even try in the first place! Two Steps to a Winning Personality

2011-02-10T11:56:00.000+07:00

Over seventy years ago, Dale Carnegie wrote the classic, How to Win Friend and Influence People. It's all about human relationships and how to be more effective when dealing with people.

It's a great book but it's not very practical. Who can walk around, meet people and try to recall some fifty different rules that should be applied to present a winning personality?

What is needed is a short, concise and to the point formula. Something that will encompass all of what Carnegie and others had to say on the subject. This is what I hope to do in this short essay on the subject.
There are two basic elements upon which a winning personality is based. The first is caring about people and the other one is a close cousin of caring which is, making people feel good about themselves. Sounds easy enough but in actuality, it's not that simple.

First, we cannot fake about caring. Either we do or we don't. Any attempt to fake caring is the perfect recipe for disaster. People will see right through it and will be put off by the charade. There is nothing as toxic as a lack of sincerity in human relation so it is to be avoided at all cost.

Caring about people is something that can be learned and it is not all that difficult. We simply have to remind ourselves how important people are. The people that we come in contact with, either directly or indirectly, can make us or break us. They literally hold our future in their hands. They are the ones who will either give us what we want or walk away from us.

If we care about people, they will care about us. There is something contagious about caring. It is the highest compliment that we can give to someone. It means you are someone important, you matter. It is respect and acceptance all rolled into one. It is the golden rule at its finest. When we care about someone, we are treating that person the way that we would like to be treated. It's an irresistible magnet.

Extreme Life - Inspirational Series Vol.18

The next element needed to have a winning personality is to make people feel good about themselves. One of the primordial human needs is significance. We all need to feel that we are important, that we matter. Making someone feeling good about themselves is one of the most effective ways to fill that need.

Again, making people feel good about themselves cannot be faked. If we believe that they are worthy, the message will come through naturally. That message will be expressed in body language, in the words that we used and in the tone that we use to express those words. Our deepest feelings have a way of expressing themselves that cannot be denied, missed or misunderstood. The heart speaks louder and more clearly than words ever could.

So, if you want to have a winning personality, truly care about people, make them feel good about themselves… and they'll think the world of you. That's what a winning personality is all about.

No Surrender Because of Failed

2011-02-08T14:54:00.000+07:00

There is a story about a teenage girl who aspires to be a famous ballet dancer. He has spent his time learning to dance throughout her childhood. One day there was a leading ballet teacher who comes to his town. He had to go and see him.

"I want to be a great ballet dancer but do not know whether the talent that I have enough support," he said. The ballet teacher replied, "Dance in front of me. " After a few minutes later the teacher shook his head and said, "You do not have the makings of a reliable ballet dancer. "

The girl went home and cried. He was throwing all his ballet gear anddo not want to wear it anymore . Hose was not long before she married, had children. When her children grown, she worked as a cashier in a shop keeper near his home. Several years passed and one day there was a ballet in his town. The girl who is now already a mother to go with the kids and husband. After the show finished he accidentally met with the same ballet teacher, who was already old eighties. He told me about her life as she showed photos and told his children about his work as a shopkeeper. Then he asked, "Only one who has been disturbing. How could you say if I do not have the talent to be a great ballet dancer?"

"Oh, now I'm thinking of something else. I did not notice you're dancing. That's what I say to all who come, " the teacher replied.

"But ... but ... this is unacceptable! There is absolutely no sense. Had I known that I still could be a ballet dancer!" she sobbed.

Most of us give up easily when faced with difficulty or failure. The question is, why do we give up that easy? The point is not failure itself that we fear, but emotions and feelings that accompany failure is that we want to avoid.

Perhaps we feel foolish if it fails, feeling ashamed, feeling accepted, feeling desperate. We tend to avoid unpleasant feelings but as a result we limit ourselves to move forward.

And when our babies, we never stop learning to walk. Obviously we fell many times. From start to crawl, stuck to the wall until he could walk. We fell but got up and tried again. But after we are adults why we tend to be embarrassed if you fall or fail? Certainly because it was thought that failure is something bad. It means we feel like a failure if we think that we fail!

So the only real failure is an illusion. The fear that became real because of the negative impression. Try to think that such thing as failure is an attempt to achieve success - such as babies who do not stop learning to walk - certainly we also never stop trying and find a new way in every business we achieve what we want.

At the age of 65, Colonel Sanders, founder of KFC, only had the money $ 99 dollars and a piece of fried chicken recipe. He offers a recipe to many people to work together with them to make fried chicken restaurant. Guess how many times he was rejected? 1009 times. Until the end of an approved his idea. Now imagine the KFC business in 80 countries and generate billions of dollars of money every year.

Well, if you feel like a failure because of difficulties in your business, please think again. Perhaps you are too fast to conclusions. Maybe you can try another way. The key is to never stop trying and always looking for creative new ideas for your business success.

How To Easily Access Creativity

2011-02-08T14:42:00.000+07:00

You may often hear your friends say, "That man is still very creative ... can make this and that. " Although most people assume that creativity is related to creating a work, but creativity can also mean really how we do things.

Creativity is usually in the form of classical painting, song, dance or even a computer program. But if you do not have the talent in creating classic creativity you can still be creative. The ability of creativity here relates to how you do things. In any case - you should always look for new ideas to do your job more effectively and efficiently.

A simple example, if you are asked to move a pile of bricks from the yard into the back garden, you do not want to just use both hands just to transport the bricks. You certainly want to find ways how to haul a pile of bricks is that you are not exhausted and running out of time.

You might think to use a bucket as a tool carrier so that you can put more stones batu.Tapi whether the bucket is enough? You might think this time the trolley (which is usually used to shop) can be more effective to transport the load. You always open your mind to new things useful.

Here are some helpful attitude to open access to creativity that is inside of you:

Always wanted to find out. Enjoy every day surprises
Be open and explorative
Discover one of the interesting things for you to be explore. Find lots of information about it.
Be consistent and do not give up in learning new skills though it may seem complicated to you.
Always learn from experience, though it felt the experience was more like a mistake. Never stop learning.
Think different. Think the opposite. Do not be afraid your opinion is different from other people. Remove the idea as much as possible. There are no stupid ideas, only ideas.
Determines the what you like and what you do not like.
Enjoy the adventure of life.
Reward yourself.

Divert your focus on "Let Go"

2011-02-08T14:34:00.000+07:00

When we try to do something with the intention of a focused (focused intent), that happens we use the conscious mind (left brain). This limits us to access the unconscious mind (right brain), which has a processing capacity of billions and billions times faster than the conscious.

In many self-help books often explain how we make the intent (intent) to achieve what we want. During this time many people who think intent as "something That We Want to Happen". Therefore, our conscious mind trying to find the positive intent and happy.

Often we are taught how to make the intent that its 3P: Positive, Precise, Present. So intent is defined at the beginning and endeavored to happen because we believe such a scenario the best. Intent of this kind can be successful. But usually when you do not succeed, we may feel like a failure and thinks there is a wrong process.

Conscious mind we have limited capabilities. Only able to process 5-10% of the realities that happened. Therefore, the intent that we defined from the conscious mind is limiting (limiting). We tend to focus on what we want. There is wanting (desire) and expectation (hope), which if not fulfilled could lead to disappointment and frustration. Finally we feel helpless because failed to achieve what we want.

Defining the intent of the conscious mind to give the impression as if we know best, but maybe there's more better if we are willing to let go (surrender).

To access the power of unconscious Mind, we focus instead on "what we want" but rather to "let go". With the let go we break away from the expectation of how things should happen. Then we also open ourselves to receive a better scenario than the scenario that we choose. Let go allows us to be grateful in receiving what we want and also feel comfortable to accept if we want it not to happen. In this condition we do not feel powerless or fail.

Unconscious mind has the ability of processing billions of times faster than the conscious. Through the let go we turn unconscious mind has access to the infinite potentials (unlimited potential) in this universe.

How do we focus on the let go, not on what we want?

Suppose you are experiencing financial difficulties. Your focus is not on the intent of the 3P, where you want $$xxxx money for example. You simply ask, for example: "If my financial situation is different, what I feel?" Make this question as INTENT. Then Observe (see) what is DIFFERENT - not what is the same - the feeling you. Ask once more, for example: "If my desire to have money does not exist, how it feels?". Note the distinct feeling and feel.

Perhaps you then feel there is relief in the liver. You may see an image block of ice melts. Maybe you heard a voice that said "soon you're rich. " Anything, that is clear without artificial. Through the heart, feel as if what you want already happening now. Look and feel all this then LET GOOOOOOOOOOO.

A friend of this practice and several hours later he obtained the money of several million. Far beyond the "wildest imagination", because expectationnya been let go. Another friend who had recovered from chronic illness. Just enough to ask questions and let go.

Bottom line: our focus is not on what we want, but the let go. Allow our unconscious mind that with its multi-processor work without fear or and plagued by doubts.

Miracle Smiles

2011-02-08T14:26:00.000+07:00

Smiling, how easy this is done. It only took a second to change the form of lips into a smile. And only takes seven seconds to maintain the smile to be seen as an expression of sincerity.

But why do these simple things are rarely seen? The faces on the street, on public transport, in the cafeteria, in the office, even in places that should be a garden tour smile, it looks blurry. Wrinkles on the face showed how heavy burden to be borne by the faces. Many faces of the area between the two eyes shrunken. Creepy and looked fierce.

The smile was gone from the face of many people. Somehow a smile - even laugh - which is always bright faces that decorate the small, simply vanished. Now, even not just the faces of parents and adults who have lost a sweet smile. The faces of the teenagers and children had been infected wrinkles full load.

Smiles in essence is one beautiful gift from God the Most Beautiful. God deliberately bestowed a smile as part of human beauty. Unfortunately, this wonderful gift, not easily found in many human faces. The world would be much more beautiful when the people love to smile.

Life and human life would be more beautiful and calm when we see lots of smiles all around us. Especially the smile from the face of our own. Would not it be nice if we receive a smile? And is not much better when we are the one who gave a smile?

Readers, the smile that is simple, easy and free it turned out to save a lot of miracles. At least from a variety of experiences in my life. Yep, in my life, I see many wonders. Shape all kinds. There are convenience, health, wealth, kindness, and so the solution of a smile.

The smile - the arch which, according to Pak Gede Prama can straighten many things - is unusual. He was like an oasis in the desert. He is like a drop of clear water from springs that can relieve thirst. He is like air to the choke. He is like donating money to the poor who were treated in hospital. He was like a young mango for young mothers who are craving. He is like lending money to those who are in need. He is also like a bowl of instant noodles for the hungry refugees.

Smiles are essentially human needs. Who is happy smile makes the soul, feelings, thoughts and physical needs are met one. If people do not like to smile, there are wounds in the soul, feeling and thought. The soul of the wounded make life filled with anxiety. The flavor of the wounded made life uneasy. The thought of the wounded make full live load.

Sincere smile Rules

Sincere smile has rules? Yes, there. This rule I got from my two teachers. First Mr. Jamil Azzaini. Second, Mr. Tengku Amir Ramly. First of all, I learned from Mr. Jamil, that the smile should be 227. This means that new smile looks genuine with attractive lips to the right 2 cm, 2 cm to the left, keep at least for 7 seconds. If less than 7 seconds, then the smile will lose his sincerity.

This rule is then perfected by Mr. Amir. According to Mr. Amir, a smile that should be 127. Figures of the meaning of the smile is derived and should aim to unite the liver. Heart who give and receive smiles. That way, the smile that acts as a binder and a bridge between one self with other selves. Who's number 2 and 7, meaning the same as the rules Mr. Jamil.

That smile you ...

He is simple, but powerful remarkable.

He was small, but meaningful giant.

He was easy, but very valuable.

Therefore,....

Smile is the brother

Enjoy the wonders of your life.

And ...

Share the magic of life of our neighbor.

Overcome Lack of Motivation

2011-02-08T14:25:00.000+07:00

One factor that prevents you from success is the lack of motivation. How many times have you said, "I want to be rich", "I want to succeed" but you do not show in your actions that you can be rich and you can succeed.

Lack of motivation related to the lack of clarity about how to achieve your goals. Perhaps often crossed your mind to become successful entrepreneurs or achieve a specific career in the office, but you do not know how so that you are less motivated to achieve what you want.

Here I would invite you to look at five things you'd like to note that you remain motivated to get what is your dream:

Creating a Roadmap

Roadmap is a way or strategy to achieve something. Make a roadmap so you know what your goals. Do you want to start a new business or just lose weight, create a program that divide your goal into steps in detail along with how long it takes.

For example, to lose weight, fill in your program that includes diet, exercise, and rest. Then explain what you would do to manage food, exercise, and hours of rest. The clearer the better so you know exactly what you should do at a particular time.

Take Action

Now you've set goals and plan strategic moves. It will all bergunna if you take action. Without concrete action plan goals and you only become a dream. Without any manifestation at a practical level.

Celebrate your success every time you managed to do one thing, especially for activities that are important in achieving your goals. Respect for you no matter how small steps will give you the strength to take the next action.

Remind yourself that you will gain can

Allow yourself to imagine the benefits you will gain from the effort you are doing now. Imagine yourself to be slim, if your goal to lose weight. Or imagine you are on holiday to exotic places if the career of your dreams have been achieved.

Motivation will arise as you remember anything that will benefit you gain from your hard work over the years.

Stay Consistent

Just like a trip, you will meet obstacles and barriers as you walk to reach the goal. Be consistent and that is important to remain relaxed in this way. Perhaps you need to change direction slightly in line with the new information you get. Stay open and flexible.

If you feel you lack motivation, so it seems you do not make progress, remember that you are not alone. Many of the people around you who have the same problem.

One thing that you want to show them: you are different. With a clear purpose and strategy, the main obstacle instead of yourself. Convince yourself that you are a successful person. Would not it was nice if you could achieve what you want?

Stop Thinking and Take Action

2011-02-08T14:06:00.000+07:00

Tom, a private bank employee, has repeatedly participated in seminars about entrepreneurship. Various kinds of techniques he had learned the business but to this day he still does not dare to take action to start a new business.

Many of us who have a "hobby" but itit felt really learn to live not show significant change. How many books have you read, how many times have you gone to a seminar, how many times you are asked to immediately take action but until this moment you are still not moving. Feeling guilty?

"The possibilities are numerous once We Decide to act and not REACT." (George Bernard Shaw)

According to him, so we stop thinking and act soon we open ourselves to opportunities in large amounts, exceeding even our expectations. But the problem is as if we do not have strong enough reason why we must take action. Here are three main reasons that you want to consider when you are in doubt to act:

1. Only you can take action, not others

If you're asked, "Who runs your life?", the answer should be easy: "You yourself!". This means that you are responsible for your own life, not someone else. You have the power to control and even improve the quality of your life because you live your own pilot.

If you have a business plan, career, or plans to change the life you want to realize that no one else would take the first action, except your own. You can get help from family, friends, books, blogs. But action must be taken by your own. Your life is your responsibility. Make choices and decisions that bring good to your own.

2. Apply the knowledge you have

Surely if you read this article you are a seeker of knowledge on the Internet. Perhaps you've read many books and blogs. You may feel your knowledge is now growing. Nothing wrong with that. I myself have a habit to read at least 10 pages a day. Time is very precious to me so I very rarely watch television.

More than that I believe that the gathering of knowledge is no substitute for action. You can read dozens of books, but if you do not practice what you learned from those books all the knowledge you have can be futile.
Attend training or seminars to help you to gain inspiration. You will probably be eager to take action. This spirit wants you act lanjutin by taking real action where you actually apply the knowledge you have.

3. Become smarter by working on

There is a phrase "you learn by doing" which means to increase your knowledge as you apply it in real action. If you are a thirst for knowledge, you will be encouraged to experiment with the knowledge you have to apply it in everyday life. By applying your knowledge to be getting smarter by understanding what things are suitable for you and what does not.

By doing you might be know if the method you read about in the book was more complicated when it is practiced. This spur you to improve these methods in a manner consistent with environmental conditions around you.

Experience is the best teacher. Through experience, you discover new things and prove to yourself what's been said by the teacher, mentor, coach etc.. This is what you get. By analogy: someone else can just describe what it feels like apples, but apples to feel that you have to eat his own men. Until you feel any sensation: fresh, sweet, sour, watery, etc..

Hopefully this article inspired you to practice the ideas, ideas, and knowledge you have for improving the quality of your self. Only take action with your life can change and you become a person who boasts to yourself and others.

4 Ways To Stay Motivated

2011-02-08T13:50:00.000+07:00

Being successful is the dream of all people. Of course, for it required a strong motivation to overcome challenges to achieve what you want. This motivation must be grown from within oneself. You could read hundreds of books or go to dozens of seminars to get an injection of motivation, but the thing that often happens is an increase in emotional moment for change. Perhaps this last one or two weeks and after that you feel everything back into mediocrity like the old conditions. Ever feel that way?

"Motivation is a tree that you flush with self discipline"

How do you stay motivated to work toward desired goals? The bottom line motivation is the art of communicating with yourself. This communication involves the feelings that you felt through the emotions that arise.

So what's the difference between feelings and emotions?

Examples like this, if you feel guilty about the emotions that arise may fear being judged, wanted to escape, and so on. If you feel happy, his emotions can be a joy, joy, desire to share, etc.. Emotions arise as a result of the feelings that occur within the self.

So really easy to live motivated. The key is to feel happy things and imagine that you will achieve success. I guarantee you'll be motivated to work.

In addition there are a few tips that I want to give so that you can be motivated anytime, anywhere:

1. Always consistent

Ease arise from habit. Motivation is the same. It requires discipline, so you get used to life with motivation. There is a great expression that says, "Something that you repeat every day for 21 days will become a habit. " I encourage you to practice it. Start with simple things like smiling in front of a mirror, say "Yes" before work, and more.

2. Responsible

You need someone who will remind you to remain in the destination. He is responsible for providing support and become a partner brainstorm for new ideas and that you have. From here you will feel a responsibility to provide the best for him. The process of achieving goals become easier with the presence of someone who is a mirror of yourself.

3. Surround yourself with people who are visionary same

If you want to lose weight, make sure you are with the friends who have similar goals. If you want to build a business, friends with people who have been in the business world or those who want to start a business. You can get energy and motivation from them. It would be very easy to be motivated when you get support. What you perceive as barriers when working alone can be overcome with the help and support the vision of friends together.

4. Focus on process, not a destination

It is very important. Often you down mentally when faced with the difficulty to reach the goal. Focus on the process. Each process takes time. Either the fast, whether slow. Your objective is clear, but the journey to get there can be winding and up and down. With a focus on process you avoid the mental burden because now you have control over the process itself, rather than controlled by the target to achieve the goal.

Now you better know that motivation is the key to success. All you need now is a strong willingness to apply it in everyday life. Like what the saying goes "There is a willingness there is a way". Good work and do not forget to appreciate yourself in every moment of success no matter how small it is.

Looks Attractive Have Higher IQ?

2011-02-08T13:43:00.000+07:00

Handsome men and beautiful women are often considered good luck umbrella. The new study turned out to support that argument. According to the research, they are looking to attract more clever than most people.

As reported by the Daily Mail, research conducted in Britain and the United States shows, attractive men and women have the intelligence quotient (IQ) 14 points above the average of most people. These findings dispelled the myth developed that the blonde is stupid or does not contain any handsome man.

Based on the study conducted the London School of Economics (LSE), they are handsome or beautiful to attract a mate, not only of art, but also his intelligence. The children of these couples tend to inherit these two qualities.

"Physical attraction is positively related to general intelligence, either with or without control of social class, body size, and health," says researcher LSE, Satoshi Kanazawa, told the Sunday Times.

The relationship between attractiveness and general intelligence are also more strongly seen in men than in women.

In other research on social status, Kanazawa found that high social status of girls tend to have higher IQs than those from the working class.

Among the millions of examples of a combination of beauty and brains, no supermodel Lily Cole, studying at Cambridge University; actress Kate Beckinsale, a graduate of Oxford; and physicist Brian Cox, who played keyboards with D: Ream.

In England, the study states that physically attractive men have an average IQ of 13.6 points above normal, while women are around 11.4 points higher.

Kanazawa conclusions based on the National Child Development Study which monitors about 17 419 people since they were born in March 1958. Throughout childhood and early adulthood, the volunteers were given a series of tests to examine the academic progress, intelligence, and the signs appearance.

Meanwhile, research in America is based on the National Longitudinal Study of Adolescent Health that involves a similar study of 35,000 young Americans.

"We think people are smarter is pretty scientific. This is not the law to treat or judge others," says Kanazawa which includes research in the journal Intelligence.

Talk to Yourself

2011-02-08T13:27:00.000+07:00

No we know, was himself also need to talk to. As it turns out, by referring to speaking we have provided an opportunity to enrich themselves.

According to experts, the habit of talking to oneself or self-talk has been there since we learned to talk and is part of the learning process of children. And talk to yourself, not merely in the form of dialogue with the voice. For all that comes to our brains, exactly the way we talk to ourselves.

So do not be surprised if in a minute, there are 150-300 words. That means, 45-51 thousand words per day, total words that we speak every day on our own. According to psychologist Toge Aprilianto from Surabaya, talk to yourself can be very dominant in everyone. And if we are accustomed to talking to yourself will give you many advantages, including:

1. Channeling emotion: grumble because the long wait is an example of talking with oneself to channel emotion. Only, make sure not to get communication with oneself is only made us more upset.

2. Decision aids: All factors that exist when we are faced with two conditions to be selected to talk about myself more fair.

3. Know and accept yourself: Talking to ourselves makes us more familiar with yourself. This will help us not be dragged into the average person, because we are more able to hear our conscience when entered in a new situation or environment.

4. Interact with others: Talking to yourself would be to weigh the needs of the media itself, wondering whether anyone else can meet our needs, weigh the risks if there is to then be used as reference to take action.

5. Influence others with a healthy way: Before the belief of others, we have to convince yourself or something to be desired and planned. If we do not know what we want, how banks will believe in us? So ask lots of questions to yourself first, then convince convince others.

6. Developing self: Talking to yourself can be a medium to develop ourselves, if we use the same positive tone when we use it for channeling emotions

Writing by Hand Good for the Brain

2011-02-07T18:10:00.000+07:00

The function of the pen is now largely supplanted by the keyboard (keyboard). In fact, get used to typing with a keyboard effect on the decrease in brain activity that plays a major role in the learning function.

Writing by hand is known to cause sensory experiences are very different from the activities of typing. Both activities were found to activate two different parts of the brain as well.

"Our bodies are designed to interact with the world around us. We have a 'tool' to use physical objects to perform tasks, such as books or pens," said one researcher from the University of Anne Mangen Stavangers Reading Centre, Norway.

In a series of tests conducted Mangen and his team, known activity of writing by hand will leave a trail "motor memory" in the brain called the sensorimotor. This process will encourage visual ability in recognizing letters and numbers. "Although impressed two different things, actually writing and reading are related," said Mangen.

The results of this study published in the journal Advances in Haptics. Haptics refers to the sensation of touching themselves and how to communicate and explore through touch.

In their research, the group participants were divided into two groups, namely people who write by hand and the person who typed via the keyboard. Then they were asked to learn the alphabet that has never known before.

Apparently people from groups who writes by hand have better results on tests than people typing on keyboards.

The results of brain scans also showed those who write by hand, part of the brain called Broca's more active. Parts of the brain associated with language skills. Damage in the brain, for example due to an accident, can cause a person difficult to talk.

Only the Dare Is Not Enough

2011-02-07T18:05:00.000+07:00

In recent times about entrepreneurship seminars, I often hear people say that the main capital is the courage alias kenekadan business. Because getting such input, my brain was encouraged to run various businesses, from my high school , lectures, and even when working in an institution. My efforts at that time was classified as micro. Scale is not large. But money do I spend for some business, of selling watches, selling various accessories, open the computer typing, printing broker, to event organizing (EO) is still large enough size for my pocket at that time.

Originally daring and original there is an opportunity, I would immediately go to the capital I had. The result? By counting the number was not satisfactory. But, in the calculations "capital of the future ", I feel no loss at all. But, as an ordinary human being, who does not go away disappointed capital? Amazingly, for some reason, one when a friend offered a business opportunity, because in my eyes was enough prospective business, without thinking again I invest my capital. And, again I kejeblos. Capital did not return as expected.

But, oddly, the courage to open the business that never subsided. Only, this time I prefer to use the calculation based on experience. As a result some are beginning to show charts rise. Although, the process of ups and downs I experienced it the uterus.

Well, departing from that experience, I just wanted to share. If you agree, please use my way, even if not, all it is your right. Various experiences made me conclude the following points:

1.For the Dare need mental strength
If you are not mentally strong and durable, must not dare. Aka desperate daring when the results are not as expected, will be very painful. So, just for that alone mentally strong that I recommend to take this bold step. But, that does not mean daring to be the one thing that is wrong. Rather, nekadlah with calculations. What I mean here is calculating the time to think there is an opportunity, if you have the ability and strong will, immediately take action (action). Because, if no action, as well as any plans, just will live expectancy. So, which is calculated is not about the possibility of turning a profit and loss and capital, but the home had a strong conviction about an opportunity, rather than just quit as an idea, why not immediately executed.
But,back the matter of courage , ourcalculations could still be missed . That's why, back to the mental. Only a mental hold bantinglah have a stock that will be successfully passed various examinations in the future.

2. Intelligence needed to be Dare
Smart here is when we've decided to plunge into the world of entrepreneurship, we must be able to manage a variety of existing resources. Sometimes, when failed, we immediately discouraged and did not realize the presence of large chance of failure behind it. In fact, with a little flair (read: intelligence), there must be a positive thing that can be done from the failure. This occurs when writing school which I founded with some friends experiencing shortage of students. With a little foresight, it turns out our team actually managed to create a program that brings greater benefits than regular classes in general.

3. How Dare it takes sacrifice
Sacrifice here I suppose that with the martyrs on the battlefield. The sacrifice of soldiers in the front row will usually open the way to victory. If the term "rough" I, we took the casualties. When about to run a business, sometimes we need to "sacrifice"one of the business to encompass a larger business. Is not to catch a big fish in the sea we can not just use worm bait?

This kind of common way of doing business there. As performed by large retailers that provide price discounts to one of two best-selling products on the market. By cutting the profits from that product, people will memunyai image that the retailer is cheap. That way, even though other products more expensive, people still feel there are cheaper products.

Once again, a matter of courage is simply not just a desperate affair. But we also need to use a calculation. So, whether you're still desperate?

The Goal to Succeed

2011-02-06T20:50:00.001+07:00

Do you have that drive to succeed? Are you wishing on success, but have no idea on how to begin or where to turn? Do you see successful people out there and wonder how they did it or why can they have success and not you? Have you just accepted the fact you are where you are and that status quo is where you will stay?

The truth is, we have not all been shown how to succeed and how to go about pursuing our passions in life. In fact, in school we learn that we need to learn our reading, writing and history, then after that we graduate, and then after that we are encouraged to go and get a good job with a good retirement package. While that is a great option for some, that may not be the case for some who wish for more, but feel that is just the way things are and settle with it.

If you are one of those individuals that feel like there is something more out there and you have that strong desire, but do not know where to turn, there is good news, but you have to be willing to accept the explanation. Here it is: You must work from within to see the results without. What does that mean? It is important to change your mindset about success and believe that it is possible to achieve success, because if you do not believe it is possible, you will inevitably self-sabotage yourself into remaining where you are.

Two of the best resources to consider when learning more about becoming successful is the writing of Napolean Hill. Napolean studied the laws of success in and out with great clarity and understanding. He gathered all his findings and went on to write some of the most powerful books to help us in our pursuit of success.

Three of Napoleans books that focus on success are:

1. Think and Grow Rich
2. The Law of Success
3. Success Through a Positive Mental Attitude

Within these books, you will learn

* how to clear your brain fog
* how to look with your mind and not your eyes
* how to solve problems, how to motivate yourself
* how to attract wealth into your life
* how to use other people's money
* how to optimize your health and live longer
* how to eliminate your guilt feelings that hold you back from success
* how to improve your self-confidence, imagination, enthusiasm, and self-control
* and much more….

Cheers to your success!

True or False: Resolutions Always End in Disappointment

2011-02-06T20:44:00.000+07:00

Right about now is when most New Year's Resolutions are starting to look like empty promises and lost causes. I've heard many people say they don't even make resolutions anymore because they don't want to end up disappointed again--in a situation or in themselves. No one wants to be set up, only to be let down--and when the person doing the setting up and letting down is you--well, that can be even harder to take.

Not making the resolution in the first place is one solution, but there are other options...

Semantics: if the word itself creates a problem, use a different one. Try intention, commitment, or goal. That might make it easier to think about what you'd like to accomplish or change.

Standards: know why it's important to you. When our plans align with our standards or values--those principles that are at the very core of who we are--we're more likely to "buy in" and stay committed.

Specifics: sometimes our resolutions are very general and fuzzy. Try to hone in as precisely as possible. For example, you might want to be more organized this year, but what exactly does that mean to you? A neater house? Better time management? Knowing where your important papers are?

Steps: Once you've clarified what you're talking about, break it down into small, do-able steps. And set a "due date" for each step to add accountability.

Support: What support will you need as you move into action? Often it's as simple as getting quiet and still enough to tap into our inner resources. Other times there's something external that would be of benefit--maybe information, advice, time set aside, or someone to encourage us.

Success: How will you know that you've fulfilled your resolution, intention, or commitment? What does "success" look like for you in this area? If you don't have a clue, you won't know what you're aiming at, and you might not even realize it when you've fulfilled your goal. Envision yourself having done this thing--what does it look like, how do you feel, what is different?

Resolutions themselves are not the problem. We are! But the good news is there are lots of ways to increase our effectiveness and assure we will be satisfied, rather than disappointed, when we create a resolution, in the new year or anytime.

When Past Memories Come Knocking

2011-02-06T20:40:00.001+07:00

Last night, I was visited by an old friend of sorts. A person who I had not seen in almost a decade. A person who I thought I would never see again. This surprise visit caught me unawares and most unfortunate was the fact that I had no time to properly welcome this individual, as he showed up in my dreams unannounced...

Some might call him a phantom. A remnant of a time gone by. Though it had been a number of years since he and I had ended our relationship. He appeared in my dream as if he had been fundamentally unchanged by the years. It was as if this version of him were journeying through time to support me in my moment of need.

Sometimes when we are visited by strange incidents in our lives, particularly in our dreaming life, there is a piece of communication that is endeavoring to make its way out. Perhaps it is an earnest message or emotion that you are secretly harboring within, or it may even be an experience that is at this very moment trying to resolve itself.

Occurrences of this sort can indicate an internal voice that is desperate to have itself heard or felt. For me in this particular instance it was the need for comfort...Currently, my family and I are going through the most challenging time of our adult lives as we support my mother who is battling a chronic ailment that is becoming more and more common in our overly toxic environment. As my brother and sisters adjust our lives to take on the meaningful challenge of helping my mother make the most out of what is left of her amazing journey, I find that just as much as I use my energies to support others to shine, I find that at times I am in need of the same support...

Now, I have not come across a reputable research study of any kind that posits that dreams may potentially be most vivid when we are amidst times of change, but based on my experiences as a Master Practitioner of NLP, I would bet my money on it.The main reason why I am sharing this teaching today is to direct your awareness to an often overlooked marvel of the universe: The gift that comes in the form of the visitor unannounced. The significance of which is showcasing the Universes ability to find a way to give us what we require and secretly yearn for.

Pay attention to those moments when things get most difficult in your life, because if you look close enough you will realize that you are being provided with exactly what you need, exactly when you may need it most.

Trust that you are being looked after by a world that is concerned and committed to your ultimate well-being, even if on the surface it may not look like it.

Be well this week and May your Inner Light BurnBright!

Our Thoughts Create our Reality

2011-02-06T20:37:00.001+07:00

There is no way to get away from the fundamental truth that as we think, so shall we become. This simple truth is the premise of a great deal of life-change methods that are out there today. BUT, how in fact, do we successfully change the nature of our thoughts patterns, when so much of our lives have been lived a certain way?
To paraphrase one of the masterful change expert, Abraham Maslow, the only way to change a person is to change their awareness of themselves, perhaps it would be wise to start with an exercise to shift your awareness. Today begins YOUR grand experiment. Today take part in "Recasting the Narrative of your life".
Your first task: This week from time to time, make note of the quality of the life you are living. How do people respond to you? What actions are you engaging in as if you were on auto-pilot? Take notice of the ebbs and flows of your life and then document them. You may want to do so in whatever form works for you. It could be by recording an end of the day audio on your phone right before you go to bed, or morning pages right after you wake up for the day.
REMEMBER: This is an exercise in heightening awareness. This is a wonderful opportunity to explore what kind of light (as well as shadows) you cast upon the world. Should you be willing to allow yourself to carry out this task you will have completed a necessary step on your journey towards Burning Bright.
Feel free to share what you have discovered with a close friend or create a collage of this one week process. In 7 days we will be building on this exercise.
Go Forth. Spread Light. BurnBright.

It's very easy to go about experiencing life this way, because there is always another work engagement that we must tend to or familial responsibility that must be fulfilled. By the end of the day, we are so spent that we have no energy left to "just be." As a result, our closest relationships suffer, or worse yet, we leave ourselves no room to experience the joy of creating new relationships. This is quite unfortunate as, the moments we share with one another are to be counted amongst life's most valuable treasures. These moments are indeed the legacy, the imprint that marks our time on this planet.
Some might say that this harried reality is indicative of the modern man/modern woman's life dilemma. However, if we deeply consider the life we've created for ourselves, we can admit that it doesn't have to be this way. We all can and in fact should experience an easier, less stressful way of being. One step towards doing so is learning to engage in a practice we call Resting in the Moment.
To Rest in the moment means to get comfortable with allowing yourself to get acquainted with feeling the fullness of time pass by. This can be done in a minute, an hour or a full day. There is particular technique called Traffic Control that is quite helpful for doing this. Practiced by the Brahma Kumaris, a world spiritual organization based of India, Traffic Control is an internal exercise that allows the BK's to rest in the moment. Every hour on the hour, no matter what they may be currently engaged in, the Brahma Kumari's pause to experience the fullness of one minute pass by.
The BK's use this time to reconnect with their Inner Being and their God, the supreme point of light. Whether you are or are not so spiritually inclines, you can use your moment to do the same or just to get clear on who you are, what you want out of life or just the next hour or even the next day in your life.
Resting in the Moment can also be used to just do nothing. Clear out the mind and become the empty vessel. Just the very act of experiencing the full passage of time will energize you and bolster your sense of self so that you can cast off the dark shadow of over-scheduled living and take the necessary step towards allowing your true inner being to emanate the light it so desperately wants to shine.
Whether it be every hour or for one minute every couple of hours or even for the duration of your entire day, over the next week, do your best to Rest in the Moment. Use technology to aid you in this endeavor, Set your cellphone timer to go off at the top of the hour as a reminder. Trust that feeling the fullness of time pass by will expand your consciousness and allow you to catapult your awareness to new heights.
Remember: A life well savored is a life well lived. BurnBright!
