There's also the possibility to search similar images for an image you already have (you must upload it) or for an image you've found on the web (you must provide an Url).

The Veer Dash for Cash gives new and existing Veer contributors from most countries worldwide the chance to earn up to $1.40 per approved image submitted between May 5 and June 30, 2010. Contributors from the U.S. and Canada may also participate in the “Bonus Round” to win a $500 cash bonus just by following @veermarketplace on Twitter™ and tweeting about the Veer Dash for Cash. Cutcaster have launched today their new "Betta Than Vetta" collection. It's a collection of best photos and vectors hand selected from their stock of almost 400,000 items. You can find the Cutcaster announce here .

I was very happy to explore it and find my "snail on green leave" photo included in the collection!
I hope this could help me to have first sales.

New stock site: Snapixel

I've recenlty joined a new stock photo site: Snapixel.
You can find a good review at Mystockphoto blog.

I like their site and therefore I started to submit my photos also there even if there isn't an ftp service yet. They said it should be implemented soon.

Recently I was glad to discover one of my submitted images showed at their homepage.

From Snapvillage to Veer marketplace

Veer marketplace is started.

My Snapvillage portfolio was accepted and therefore yesterday I've performed the automatic migration procedure at Veer site.
There are still some issues due to migration (keywording and blank thumbnails) as explained here .

There was some interesting feature at Snapvillage that I will miss: the free keywording service and the payment at the end of the year even if you didn't reach the 10$ threshold (I had 1,5$ paid last year :-)).
On the other hand the lack of FTP service it was a big problem.

I hope to have more sales at Veer Marketplace!
