That’s why in this new update for our Local Business addon, you can now embed smart Google Maps directly on your website. This makes it much easier for users to pinpoint your physical location at-a-glance.

You can create maps for your main business location or multiple locations by heading to the Maps tab in your Local SEO panel.

From there, just enter your Google Maps API key to generate a preview. You can learn how to do that in our Google Maps for SEO documentation.

In the Map Settings panel, you can change the style of your map and choose between a Roadmap, Hybrid, Satellite, or Terrain map.

When you select a map style, the Map Preview changes automatically to see how your map looks. 

Additionally, you can upload a custom map marker to personalize your map with your logo or a brand mascot icon, for instance.

Adding Map Locations

Do you want to display a map for just one location? Simply select “No” next to the Multiple Locations option.

Then go ahead and enter your location query in the address search field.

But what if you have multiple business addresses you want customers to find? In that case, set the Multiple Location option to “Yes.”

Then head to the Locations menu item in your WordPress Dashboard and create a new location.

Let’s say you’re using Local Business for multiple store locations like Store A, Store B, and Store C. For this, you need to create new locations for each store and enter their addresses individually to pin them to the map.

In addition to these exciting changes, we’ve also made it super easy to embed your Google Maps anywhere on your website.

For more control, you can use a shortcode, WordPress block, or widget. These options allow you to embed your Maps in any post, page, or widget-ready area.

And for our advanced users, you have the option to publish Local SEO Maps with a PHP code snippet. This is an awesome way to embed your Google Maps right inside your custom theme.

But that’s not the end of the good news…

SEO Tips For Your Publish Panel

As well as shiny new map embeds, we’ve also introduced a super helpful tips panel inside the WordPress editor for both Lite and Pro users.

Now when you publish or edit a post, you’ll see a handy sidebar panel that shows a quick overview of the most important SEO criteria.

In other words, you can see at-a-glance how well your post is optimized for search engines.

The SEO Tips panel has 4 different headings:

1. Visibility – Whether search engines are allowed to index your post.
2. SEO Analysis – Your TruSEO score and basic SEO benchmarks.
3. Readability – Your content length, reading difficulty, and use of video and images.
4. Focus Keyphrase – The score of your main keyphrase.

And the good news is you can click any item on the list and edit it directly in that panel.

For example, to change your focus keyword, just click that heading, and you can change it right there, instead of scrolling to the bottom of your post and using the standard All in One SEO settings panel.

In the end, it takes just a few clicks to make small changes that can significantly improve how your content ranks in search engines.

Easily Import Your SEO Settings Directly From the Setup Wizard 

The easiest way to import your SEO data to AIOSEO is simply by installing and activating AIOSEO and launching the Setup Wizard.

As soon as you click on the Let’s Get Started button, it’ll take you to a new window where you can import your SEO settings.

AIOSEO will automatically detect the SEO plugin you’re using, and ask you to select it.  

As you can see, it has detected that you’re currently using Yoast SEO. Next, click on the Import Data and Continue button. 

Now, continue the Setup Wizard’s remaining 5 steps to configure your website settings, and that’s it!

AIOSEO will automatically import your prior SEO settings, and you can go ahead and deactivate and delete Yoast SEO.

However, if you rather use the Import/Export settings to migrate your SEO data from Yoast to All in One SEO, we’ll show you how to do that next.

Importing Your SEO Settings Using the Import/Export Settings 

To get started, click on the Tools section in the All in One SEO menu, and then click on the Import/Export tab. 

In the Import Settings From Other Plugins section, click on the drop-down menu and select the plugin you want to import your SEO settings from.

Then, it will ask you to select the settings that you want to import, and once you’ve made your selection, you click on the Import button.

In addition, you’ll have the option to do a backup of the AIOSEO settings, which is good if you want to export your new SEO settings to another website. Just click on the Create Backup button, and AIOSEO will create and save a backup of your settings.

Importing Your SEO Settings From a JSON or INI File

You can also import your SEO settings from a JSON or INI file. 

To get started, navigate to the Import / Restore AIOSEO Settings, and click on the Choose a File button to upload your file.

Once you’ve uploaded your file, simply click on the Import button to the bottom left corner. 

Note: The imported settings will overwrite existing settings and will not be merged. Also, your SEO settings will be imported instantly but the meta data may take a while depending on the size of your website.

Finally, if you need to export your new SEO data to another website, we’ll show you how to do that next.

Exporting Your SEO Settings 

Exporting your SEO settings is super easy when using AIOSEO’s Export Settings. Simply mark the checkboxes with the data you want to export.

After you’ve marked all your settings, just click on the Export Settings button in the bottom left corner, and it’ll generate a file containing all your SEO data.

1. Full Site Redirects – Overview

The Full Site Redirects feature allows you to redirect your entire website to another domain. In addition, you can also set up site aliases that you want to be redirected to the current site.

With the new update, AIOSEO even lets you force URLs to be redirected from HTTP to HTTPS for improved security.

We also added the ability to add HTTP headers to the site’s responses. These can be added for the entire website OR a custom redirect.

Easily Manage Full Site Redirects

Unlike other redirection plugins, AIOSEO gives you access to everything you need to maximize your SEO from one single plugin.

And with our Full Site Redirects, even an absolute WordPress beginner can redirect their entire site from one domain to another.

You’ll now see the Full Site Redirects tab in the plugin under All in One SEO » Redirects.

The following options are available on this screen.

Relocate Site

With this option enabled, you can redirect the entire site to a new domain, except for the WordPress admin and login details. Keep in mind that when you enable this option, the site aliases and canonical settings will be disabled.

Site Aliases

Site Aliases is when you want to link multiple domain names to the same website. Basically, when you control various domains, you can use an alias to keep them active while managing only one website.

For instance, if you’ve two domains, https://example.com and https://example.org, and you want all traffic coming to the .org domain to be redirected towards the .com domain, you can set up site aliases to redirect the traffic.

Canonical Settings

The canonical URL of a web page basically lets Google know where the original content of that page can be found in order to prevent duplicate content penalties from Google. 

With the Canonical Settings option, you can redirect all URLs to a new canonical URL. For instance, you can redirect http://example.com to https://example.com, similarly you can add or remove WWW in front of the domain.

HTTP Headers

This option adds HTTP headers to the site’s responses across the site, including redirects.

In addition, we have added two buttons that let you add predefined security and CORS headers.

Cross-origin resource sharing (CORS) is a browser mechanism that enables controlled access to resources located outside of a given domain

If you set CORS to only load URLs from your website, https://example.com, an image that is hosted elsewhere (https://example.org) won’t be loaded on the user’s browser because of the CORS policy of the server.

The same goes for the security headers. They help prevent common security vulnerabilities like XSS attacks.

2. Headline Analyzer – Overview
