Ornato is a simple and feminine hat with nice details - lace, bobbles and subtle undulating lines - which adds interest to a very easy and mindless project. Worked in the round from the brim up with bulky yarn it knits up quickly, being the perfect instant gratification project. I plan to knit one more very soon.

Sopro is the Portuguese word for

Sopro, the most conceptual pattern I ever designed, is a triangular shawl worked from the center back downwards to the edging. The body is knitted in a mindless bicolor slip stitch pattern. I don’t believe there’s a “normal” or “correct” way to execute a Dyo. Most likely knitters work how they were taught or how they’re used to. This post, however, shows you which method was used to knit Sopro.
