Although that seems like a difficult journey for an octogenarian, AARP.com reports that she's up to the challenge.
 
"I don't have the attitude of an old lady. I don't think like an old person. I will never be old," Halliday told the news source.

"I was near 60 when I played for the first time. My husband needed a golf partner and it sounded like something fun that I wanted to learn how to do," she told the news source.

"More education is not associated with any differences in the damage to the brain, but people with higher education can cope with that damage better," researcher Hanna Kaege told the news source.

Ideal candidate will be responsible for providing marketing and sales leadership to the community through the development and implementation of marketing and branding strategies, referral source and prospect relationship management, systems, and processes in order to achieve census budget.

Job Duties:

• Present and sell community to potential residents and referral sources

• Develop promotional campaigns including collateral materials and media

• Develop press releases about the community and its residents

• Manage Marketing Information Systems, provide regular reports tracking prospects, sales, entry fees and marketing information

• Develop and update sales marketing tools and presentations for potential customers

• Maintain working knowledge of current and future competitors

• Maintain OPRS Marketing guidelines and policies, remains abreast of regulatory issues impacting admissions/sales census

• Develop annual community marketing plan and analyze its effectiveness

• Develop new strategies to attract potential prospects

• Conduct market research for new and existing products

• Develop community marketing budget and oversee financials on a monthly basis to ensure that annual budget and other financial targets are met





Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in marketing or related field

• Three (3) – five (5) years Sales/Marketing experience

• Health care/retirement communities experience desired

• Proven sales track record desired
