Si verias is a Sephardic Folk song. A Sephardi is a Jew originating in the Iberian Peninsula (modern Portugal and Spain)

This song came from a performance of the Nashville Early Music Ensemble at the First Presbyterian Church in Columbia, TN on Sunday, February 10, 2008. The Concert was entitled She Loves Me, She Loves Me Not and was a Valentine's Day Tribute. The ensemble is designed to perform the vocal and instrumental music of the Medieval and Renaissance periods as well as traditional folk music from several world cultures. The twenty-member ensemble features musicians with diverse music backgrounds but all with experience in early music. The instruments featured in this concert were viols, violin, rebec, lute, ud, guitars, psaltery, harp, recorders, and a wide variety of percussion. The director is Dr. Gerald Moore, a retired music professor from Lipscomb University, who taught music theory and directed the Lipscomb Early Music Consort for over twenty-five years. Los Desterrados -- 'The Exiles' -- are a London sextet who have created their own radical, rousing and rootsy take on the ancient folk music of the Sephardic Jews.
As the Gypsy Kings reinvigorated flamenco and the Gotan Project
revitalised tango so Los Desterrados have brought vibrant new life to
Sephardic music. Fusing Spanish Flamenco and the fiery Gypsy melodies
of the Balkans and Greece, with the rhythms of Morocco and Turkey, Los
Desterrados have created a rootsy Mediterranean sound that is wholly
their own.
Featuring traditional instruments such as the cajón and
'oud with vocals in Ladino, the language of the Sephardic Jews, or
Hebrew, the unconventional arrangements and rousing rhythms Los Des
wield are heavily influenced by the music they've all grown up on as
native North Londoners - rock 'n' roll, jazz, folk, flamenco, funk and
soul.
