I’ve just uploaded my new portfolio site after a grueling 2 weeks of CSS training and an Adobe knowledge upgrade. After much toil and late night hours burned, my cross-platform, standards-(pseudo)-compliant (?) site is up and ready. Have a look around and please post comments and critiques here.

Highly creative use of the sea of solo musician clips on You Tube. Taking the individual performances and cleverly editing them together, producer “Kutiman” deftly crafts songs as if they were created from a singular group of artists working towards a common goal. “Thru You” is truly the internet as it’s best, taking creativity to the next level.

Flickr is bringing the goodness again with its new aptly-titled Flickr Clock. From a quick run-through, looks pretty sharp and well conceived. I also like it for sentimental reasons since it reminds me a little of my old site.

The goal of giving form to a complex situation like the credit crisis is to quickly supply the essence of the situation to those unfamiliar and uninitiated. This project, by Jonathan Jarvis, was completed as part of the thesis work in the Media Design Program, a graduate studio at the Art Center College of Design in Pasadena, California.
