Estos últimos días no han sido muy buenos para mí, es por esto que a pesar de que me encanta publicar y escribir aquí en el blog, no he encontrado la motivación o ánimos para hacerlo, últimamente he estado pensando y mas que pensando en realidad he estado preocupándome por el futuro, lo cual me provoca mucha ansiedad y comienzo a hacerme un montón de preguntas, a cuestionar todo, preocupándome por cosas que ni siquiera han pasado.

Esto es algo con lo que he tratado de luchar todo el tiempo, siempre sobre pienso las cosas y les doy mil y un vueltas, pienso tanto lo bueno como lo malo, pienso en las miles de razones en que todo podría salir mal, en ¿qué voy a hacer?.

Ya sé que no debería hacer esto, pero cuando menos me lo espero ya estoy pensando en un millón de cosas y preocupándome, pero ya no quiero hacer esto, ya no quiero estar afligiéndome por el futuro por lo que podría o no pasar.

Y el día de hoy en mi tiempo con Dios, él me recordó algo que a pesar de ya saberlo, como que lo he olvidado últimamente y no lo puedo dejar de compartir:

¨ ¿Cuantas grandes promesas tenemos en Dios? ¿Cuántas de ellas se ven cercanas? Hay mucho camino por recorrer; siempre encontraremos la ansiedad a la vuelta de la esquina, pero debemos ser pacientes y seguir hasta el final. No dudes de que Dios tiene preparado algo grande y maravilloso para tu vida. Primero habrá que caminar, y en ese caminar tendremos que aprender a vivir, y en ese aprender a vivir, habrá que construir una historia que tenga el gran final de alcanzar todas las promesas de Cristo.¨

Me pareció un bonito recordatorio, porque solo me preocupo y me aflijo por el futuro. Pero si de algo puedo estar segura sobre ese futuro es que Dios esta y va a estar siempre conmigo. Él tiene el control de todas las cosas y sabe los planes que tiene para nosotros. Un buen recordatorio de esto es filipenses 4:6.

Claro esto no quiere decir que me voy a aquedar sentada todo el día sin hacer nada, solo esperando a que ¨Dios me mande la respuesta de todo¨, pero si me recuerda a seguir adelante, soñando, luchando y trabajando por las metas que tengo y un día sé que todo mi trabajo rendirá sus frutos y en su tiempo Dios presentara oportunidades y abrirá puertas.

Déjenlo ir y déjenselo a Dios, Él tiene cosas preparadas muchísimo más grandes de las que nos podemos imaginar.

These last few days haven't been the best days for me, which is why even though I love publishing and writing here on the blog, I haven’t found the motivation or encouragement to do so, lately I've been thinking and rather than really thinking I have been worrying about the future, which causes me much anxiety so I start asking me a lot of questions, to question everything, worrying about things that have not even happened.

This is something I've tried to fight all the time, I always over think things, I think both the good and the bad, I think of the thousand reasons that everything could go wrong and wondering what am I going to do?.

I know I shouldn’t do this, but when I least expect it I'm already thinking about a million things and worrying, but I don’t want to do this, I don’t want to be worrying and be anxious about the future.

And today in my time alone with God, he reminded me of something that I already know, I seem have forgotten lately and I can´t help but share it with you:

¨How many big promises do we have in God? How many of them are nearby? There is a long road to go; anxiety always finds its way just around the corner, but we must be patient and continue to the end. Do not doubt that God has prepared something great and wonderful for your life. First we must walk, and during that walk we will have to learn to live, and on that lesson, we must build a story that reaches all the promises of Christ.¨

I thought it was a nice reminder, because I worry about the future. But if something is certain about the future is that God is and will always be with me. He is in control of that future and he knows the plans he has in store for our lives.

A good reminder of this is Philippians 4: 6.

Of course this doesn’t mean that I will just stay in bed all day doing nothing, just waiting for God to send me the answer to everything, but it does encourages me to keep going, dreaming big and working to reach my goals and I know one day all that hard work will pay off, in God's timing he will open doors.

Let go and let GOD, He has prepared a lot bigger things than anything we can imagine.

Great things never came from comfort zones

Si me hubieran dicho alguna vez hace 5 años que un día iba a abrir un blog y postear fotos mías mostrando mis outfits, hubiera dicho que estaban locos y que eso jamás iba a pasar, la verdad no creí que me iba a animar a hacer esto de tener un blog, subir fotos y escribir.

Pero, eso es lo interesante de la vida, salir de nuestra zona de confort y hacer algo a lo que no estamos acostumbrados, algo que creímos que jamás íbamos a hacer, además como el titulo del post lo dice; las grandes cosas nunca vienen de las zonas de confort, para alcanzar algo que queremos tenemos que salir de ahí y trabajar para alcanzarlo, ya sea tomarnos fotos y subirlas a internet, recibir clases para aprender a pintar, bailar, socializar en una reunión donde hay mucha gente, o lo que sea que nos de miedo a hacer y hemos querido hacer pero no nos animamos..

Así como hace unas semanas un amigo me pidió ayuda para hacer unas fotos, cuando me dijo si podía hacerla de ¨modelo¨ como que paniquie y por un momento pensé ¡NO!, pero después recapacite y pensé, ¿por qué no? si después de todo era algo nuevo y divertido, así que con miedo le dije que si, y estas fotos fueron el resultado, les pido disculpas por mis poses y expresiones tan pobres, pero soy como nueva en esto de que alguien más me tome fotos, a veces no me puedo parar de reír, etc.

Pero en mi opinión el resultado fueron unas fotos bastante decentes para la ¨modelo¨ sin experiencia que soy. Me divertí mucho, además eso de ayudar a alguien y formar parte de sus proyectos, en su visión artística, es algo que me gusta y disfruto mucho.

Así que para ya no aburrirlos, espero les gusten las fotos, outfit, y esta experiencia que les conté, para que se animen a hacer algo que les da miedo, quien sabe, tal vez a partir de ahí van a pareciendo nuevas oportunidades y surgen grandes cosas :).

Cada vez que me pongo este tipo de ropa, como vestidos, faldas, rompers, etc. Usualmente hay dos reacciones:

1. Miradas raras, de ¿qué le pasa a esa chava? ¡Es una zorra! ¿Cómo puede salir así de su casa? Viene casi que desnuda.

2. ¡Mamacita rica! Princesa guapa, que piernonas, estas buenísima mi amor. Entre otra serie de ¨piropos o cumplidos¨. Que de solo recordarme me provocan nausea.

Como podrán imaginarse la segunda obviamente viene de los hombres y la primera de las mujeres. Y es que escribo esto porque ya estoy harta de que todos tengan y me digan una opinión cuando no se las estoy pidiendo, ya me canse de que se me queden viendo como si soy una zorra o como si soy un pedazo de carne que va pasando enfrente de perros que nunca han comido nada.

Y sé que muchas personas pasan por estas situaciones, es más me eh topado con chavas que me dicen que no se acostumbran o no se ponen otra ropa que no sea pantalón, por miedo a que les hagan o digan algo en la calle. Y me parece algo muy triste porque pienso que cada quien debería vestirse como mejor le venga o se le ronque la regalada gana. Sea una mini falda mostrando media nalga, sea una falda larga que cubra hasta los pies. Todos son libres de vestirse como quieran y nadie debería de sentirse con el derecho de tener una opinión al respecto.

Les digo esto porque cada día se escucha una historia nueva sobre alguna mujer a la que han violado y lo primero que dicen las personas al escuchar este tipo de noticias es: ella se lo busco, solo miren la ropa que estaba usando, si es que no tenemos que provocar a los hombres. ¿Y que se supone que signifique eso? Cuál es exactamente la manera en que ¨no debemos provocar a los hombres¨. Porque según la definición de google hombre es: Ser vivo que tiene capacidad para razonar, hablar y fabricar objetos que le son útiles.

Exactamente y quiero recalcar esta palabra ¡RAZONAR!. ¿En dónde está escrito, que la forma de provocar a un hombre es vistiéndose de una u otra manera?.

Ya basta de enseñarles a los hombres que su comportamiento, sus deseos o lo que sea es justificable por el simple hecho de ser hombres. Y basta de enseñarles a las mujeres a sentir vergüenza y hacerlas sentir responsables por lo que les pasa en la calle. Es tiempo de cambiar esa tonta mentalidad que por lo que usamos, es el consentimiento para que nos digan y hagan lo que quieran, ya que nosotras tenemos la culpa por: ¨provocar a los hombres¨.

Porque en mi experiencia y lo que veo todos los días, déjenme decirles que los hombres les gritan, y dicen piropos: a las mujeres que usan pantalón hasta las que usan vestido, falda, o cualquier otra prenda que muestre las piernas. Yo he tenido todo este tipo de experiencias usando pantalón, andando desarreglada, casi que con cara de recién levantada, sin maquillaje, con maquillaje, con vestido, con pants, etc.

De una y mil formas he tenido que pasar estas desagradables experiencias, así que déjenme decirles que lo que use no define si me van a decir algo en la calle o no. así que dada la circunstancia de ya saber a lo que me enfrento en la calle, prefiero vestirme como quiera, si de todos modos mas de algún comentario voy a recibir. Ojo que con esto no les estoy diciendo váyanse con un mini vestido a las 11 de la noche ahí por toda la ciudad, solitas sin que nadie las acompañe o algo por el estilo, porque eso tampoco, tenemos que ser prudentes, pero a lo que voy es que siempre tenemos que andar con nuestras precauciones, pero no debe de ser solo cuando creamos que vamos vestidas de manera provocativa, porque podes recibir este tipo de comentarios con cualquier ropa que estés usando.

A mí me gusta pensar en los hombres como los seres maravillosos, inteligentes, capaces y pensantes que son. Pienso que esa excusa de que tienen su instinto y que por lo tanto van a actuar de esta manera o la otra no tiene nada que ver. Desde pequeños se les puede enseñar a respetar y ver a la mujer como lo que es, un ser humano, y no un pedazo de carne al que pueden hacerle o gritarle lo que quieran.

Ya me harte de que justifiquen el comportamiento de los hombres basado en lo que estoy usando, el que yo esté usando algo corto, o que muestre mis piernas, los hombros o lo que sea, no significa que ¨me lo estoy buscando¨ , no estoy pidiendo nada por lo que estoy usando.

Simplemente estoy expresándome. Estoy usándolo porque es algo con lo que me siento bien, me siento cómoda, bonita. ¡Nada más!, no tiene porque justificarse como algo por lo que quisiera que me hicieran o digan algo.

Así que cuando se vistan nunca se olviden que, simplemente se están expresando y no dejen que les hagan pensar o creer que se merecen la negatividad o los malos comentarios como consecuencia por lo que están usando. Son hermosas, acéptenlo y créanselo. Y no dejen que los comentarios de nadie más les hagan pensar lo contrario.

Y no digo esto solo por mí, sino por todas las mujeres que hemos pasado por este tipo de desagradables experiencias. Espero que estas palabras le sirvan para saber que no están solas y muchas pasamos por lo mismo, así que como mujeres debemos estar unidas y apoyarnos. Y si sos un hombre con otra mentalidad espero esto te sirva para entender un poco mejor a la mujer y te podas dar cuenta que este tipo de actitudes y comportamientos son inaceptables.

Esta blusa me encanta y por siempre va a ser una de mis favoritas, en una ocasión publique un atuendo con esta blusa y esta vez que me la puse quise darle otra onda, así que en lugar de hacerla sweet como otras veces se ha visto le quise dar una onda como mas rockera o algo por el estilo así que me la puse con estos zapatos negros y una gargantilla (el cual hice yo misma y es parte de un video DIY que voy a subir muy pronto) de las que se están viendo en todos lados.

Pienso que le dan un toque interesante a los atuendos.

El día del cariño se aproxima y como muchas personas tienen planes para este día (que en lo personal consiste en ir a ver Deadpool probablemente con mi hermana) hahaha. Pero también hay personas que están en una relación y celebran esta fecha, así que aquí les va una idea para ese día y no importa como vayan a pasar ese día, un poco de inspiración nunca esta demás.

Este es un outfit simple con una formula bien sencilla:

“Business on top, party in the shoes”

mantuve las cosas simples con una white T-shirt, un poco de textura con esta falda velvet y para agregarle un poco de color estos tacones de flores y para finalizar todo el look mi inseparable denim jacket, que en mi opinión es uno de los mejores complementos para cualquier outfit.

Como estan todos? Perdón por la falta de post. Podría darles mi explicación pero a nadie le interesa! Hahaha así que pasemos a lo siguiente… Feliz año nuevo! espero que todos esten teniendo un buen inicio de año.

Se siente bien estar de regreso! J Use este outfit para un almuerzo de cumpleaños de una prima. el día estuvo muy frio, lo cual está bien porque es bueno experimentar un poco de frio y aprovechar a usar ropa mas cálida.

Ese día me estaba sintiendo más tomboy, entonces decidí usar una blusa de botones azul, jeans y unos zapatos como masculinos eran perfectos para el look. Y para complementar todo mi bomber jacket que le dio como textura al atuendo. Aunque si hubiera sabido que iba a estar así de frio, habría usado algo un poco más cálido.

Nos divertimos mucho hacienda estas fotos por el viento que había, así que shoutout a mi hermana/prima/mejor amiga/la prima más cool del mundo! Mejor conocida como Fish!. Por haber tomado fotos cool! Quien iba a saber que la hacías de fotógrafa!? Hahaha.

How is everybody doing!? I’m back!! I’m sorry for not posting, and I could explain you why but you would all fall sleep or something! So moving on… Happy New Year I hope everybody is having a wonderful year so far!.

It feels good to be back! J I wore this outfit for a cousin’s birthday lunch. It was windy AF! Which is kinda cool, because the wind was cold and it’s nice to experience cold weather and get to wear warm clothes from time to time.

I was feeling more tomboyish that day, so I thought a button up shirt, jeans and pointy kinda manly shoes were perfect for the look. And to top it all off my bomber jacket, although if I would have known how cold it was going to be, I would have worn something cozier.

We had a lot of fun while taking the pictures because of the wind, so shout out to my sister/cousin/best friend/coolest person in the world! Sofi aka Fish! For taking such cool pictures! Who knew you had it in you fish!? Hahaha.

Who needs a boyfriend?, when you have boyfriend jeans

Boyfriend jeans... Que les puedo decir, al principio tenía mis dudas con estos jeans porque no creía que se iban a ver bien, como les habrá pasado a muchas de ustedes no me dejaran mentir, me encantaba cada vez que veía atuendos y personas usándolos, pero no estaba segura de que iban a funcionar para mi :(

Así que en uno de tantos viajes a mi amada megapaca, encontré estos boyfriend jeans y decidí darles una oportunidad, después de todo sino me gustaba como me quedaban y no lograba hacerlos funcionar no era mucho lo que iba a perder.

Y déjenme decirles que no me arrepiento, me encantan son muy cómodos y versátiles, perfectos para usar cuando hace frio o calor, Y según mi experiencia estos son los consejos que funcionaron para mí.

1- Tener confianza en uno mismo, ya sé que es cliché el decir que la seguridad en uno mismo es el mejor accesorio ¡que no se qué!, pero es importante estar seguro y orgulloso de lo que uno se pone, aunque a los demás no, si vos te sentís cómoda y feliz no dejes que nadie más te haga creer lo contrario.

2- Unos tacones o unas sandalias son los zapatos que mejor van con estos jeans, esto es en cuanto a lo que yo probé y me di cuenta que con estos estilo de zapatos es como más me gusto el resultado.

3-Show some skin. Por lo masculino que son estos jeans, me gusto mucho el contraste de algo como mas femenino y atrevido arriba, con lo masculino de los jeans. Por supuesto también pueden usar alguna blusa manga larga, una t-shirt, etc.

Las opciones son infinitas, pero en lo personal me encanto el resultado de este outfit.

Así que no lo olviden, anímense a probar cosas nuevas, háganlo con seguridad y positivismo, olvídense que hay que ser “altas o tener cuerpo de modelos” para usar este tipo de jeans, no tienen nada que perder.

Boyfriend jeans ... I can tell you, at first I was hesitating about wearing these jeans. As it may have happened to many of you, I loved every time I saw outfits and people wearing them, but I wasn’t sure they were going to work for me :(

So in one of my many trips to my beloved thrift store, I found these boyfriend jeans and decided to give them a chance, after all what did I had to lose?

And let me say I have no regrets, I love them! They’re very comfortable and versatile, perfect to wear when it’s hot or chilly, and in my experience these are the tips that worked for me.

1- Having self confidence, I know it's cliche to say that self-confidence is the best accessory, but its important to be confident and proud of what you’re wearing, although others aren’t, if you feel comfortable and happy don’t let anyone make you feel otherwise.

2- Heels or sandals are the shoes that go best with these jeans, this is based on what I tried and I noticed that with these type of shoes is the result I liked the most.

3-Show some skin. Because of the masculine vibe the jeans give, I really liked the contrast of something more feminine and daring on top. Of course you can also use a long-sleeved blouse, a t-shirt, etc.

The options are endless, but personally I loved the result of this outfit.

So don’t forget, dare to try new things, do it confident, forget about what you hear or read that you must be "tall or have a model body" to pull it off.

Hola a todos, ¿cómo han estado? Ha pasado mucho tiempo desde el ultimo post, siento mucho haber estado tan perdida, pero estuve muy ocupada con otras cosas que no me permitieron publicar y crear el contenido de calidad que se merecen.

pero ya estoy de regreso con un nuevo outfit post, usando prendas que casi todos tenemos en nuestros closets, excepto por el sombrero porque hay muchas personas que no tienen sombreros, pero si no tienen uno les recomiendo que inviertan en uno, porque le agrega ese algo a cualquier outfit. Además sirve mucho para esos “bad hair days” ;)

Hello there! I'm super excited with today's post. As a blogger I like to write about everything that inspires me, things that I find interesting, etc. So today I have a different kind of post.

I discovered Uxibal on Instagram & after scoping her feed I fell head over heels when I saw all those pretty shoes! and I was instantly fascinated over the fact that they were from Guatemala! I get so excited every single time I see something typical from Guatemala, so I've been a fan of the brand for like 3 or 4 years now.

So one day drooling over all of those pretty designs of hers, I was reading about the products and all of that stuff and I knew I had to pick her oh-so-brilliant brain!. So long story short recently I sent her an email, graciously asked for an interview, which she so kindly and graciously responded to all my questions & now- here she is.

I had a blast picking Britini’s brain & getting to know her and the Uxibal story a little bit better. She’s a true gem of a human & her brand its the bomb.com! just read the interview and see it for yourself!.

▸▸ Heey, so excited to have you on the blog! Let’s start with, what makes Uxibal unique from other brands?

Britini Port: We are different from other brands because we are committed to creating good products with a purpose. I want our clients that buy our shoes to know that they are wearing something that has a positive impact on those creating them and that they have the power to change lives through their purchases.

▸▸ So how did you discovered there was a tiny tiny but beautiful country called Guatemala, and why did you came?

BP: In 2010 I joined the peace corps and I was sent to Guatemala to work as an agriculture volunteer. For two years I lived in a small town called san luis jilotepeque (jalapa), where I worked with women’s groups teaching nutrition courses and planting small family gardens.

▸▸ How did you came up with the idea of a shoes and accessories brand?

BP: I wanted to find a way to incorporate the beautiful hand-woven textiles and designs into something that I could wear and that would appeal to international markets around the world. I had seen some boots with fabric in them and thought, why not try that with Guatemalan fabrics

▸▸ How did you got started?

BP: I started out small. I first found a boot maker working out of his house outside of pastores and asked him to make me 2 boots samples that I had designed. From there, I made a few changes to the samples he made me and then we made two more. I then started making the boots for family and friends, experimenting with different leathers and textiles and now, 2.5 years later I'm still working with the same boot maker in our own Uxibal workshop.

▸▸ Do you come up with the concepts for designing first or is it more of an unplanned thing?

BP: For all of my designs, I start out with a sketch or photo that I can show to our pattern maker. From there, we work together to get a first prototype made. We then make changes and make another, then another, it usually takes us anywhere from 5-10 prototypes before we come to the final design. I also like to wear the shoes during this process to make sure that they fit right and are comfortable too.

▸▸ What kind of education do you have and where did you study?

BP: I graduated from the university of Washington with a bachelor of science degree in environmental studies, minor in geography. I never really planned on going into design, but now that I'm doing it, I can't imagine doing anything else!.

▸▸ How did you knew this is what you wanted to do with your life?

BP: I spent my early 20's trying to figure out what to do with my life and trying a little bit of everything looking for what path. I went from teaching yoga, to making wine, to working on farms, and lots of other odd jobs in-between. When I started Uxibal however, it was the first time I was really able to do a lot of different things in one job. I love that I get to use my creativity with designing, style photo shoots, work with artisans, and so much more. It really is my dream job.

▸▸ Do you have any special goals with Uxibal? (inspire anyone, express yourself,etc).

BP: My biggest goal is to create good jobs in Guatemala. After living here for almost 5 years, I've fallen in love with this country and have realized all of the talent and potential that is here. The only problem is that many people here are working very hard to make a living and still not earning enough to rise above poverty or support their families. I want to change that. I hope with Uxibal we can employ a lot of people and give them the opportunity to improve their lives.

▸▸ What do you hope to have achieved in 10 years from now?

BP: Ten years from now I would like to be a company recognized around the world for high quality shoes that have a purpose and a positive impact. I hope we can have hundreds, actually thousands, of employees that are all making a good living for their families, sending their kids to school, owning their own house, and overall living a good and happy life.

▸▸ If you had all the money and time in the world, what would you be doing right now?

BP: I would be doing the exact same thing I am now; I would just be doing it on a bigger scale. There are many things we are limited in doing because we are still a small company. But each day we grow “poco a poco” and that is good for now.

▸▸ What advice will you give to someone who wants to start a company like Uxibal?

BP: can show to our pattern maker. For anyone that wanted to start a business I would let them know to stay positive and not give up. It is not easy to start a company, but it is possible and you really just have to believe in yourself.

Ok, mi cumpleaños fue el 18 de mayo y se suponía que iba a postear este outfit ese mismo día, pero estaba en semana de finales y tenía que estudiar, terminar proyectos, etc. que ya no tuve tiempo de hacerlo, pero aunque sea casi un mes tarde aquí esta.

Me encantan los jumpsuit, son muy cómodos y hacen que uno se mira súper arreglado cuando en realidad todo lo que hiciste fue tomarlo de tu closet y ponertelo. Y aunque muchas personas aveces me molestan que estoy "overdress" no sé, estar "overdress" es algo que disfruto mucho, no pienso que uno se debe de arreglar mas solo cuando va a algún evento especial, para mi todos los días son especiales y me gusta arreglarme de mas en un día normal donde solo voy a la universidad.

Y más en este día tan especial donde gracias a Dios pude cumplir un año mas de vida, como no vestirme para la ocasión, nunca se puede complacer a todos y no importa lo que hagas siempre van a criticarte, así que lo mejor es hacer lo que te gusta, usar la ropa con la que te sientes cómoda, no sé si los demás tienen estas experiencias pero me parece muy curioso con que regularidad me pasa esto, aunque la verdad no me importa es solo algo que me llama la atención.

Siguiendo con el outfit, si ya sé que uso mucho mis denim jacket, pero es que me encantan y me parecen la adición perfecta para cualquier outfit, así que por supuesto que use mi denim jacket y unos tacones con estampado de flores para agregarle algo de color.

Así que no se olviden, vístanse como quieran, no importa si los demás se les quedan viendo raro, lo importante es que tu estés feliz y te sientas cómoda con lo que estas usando.

OK, my birthday was on May 18 and I was supposed to post this outfit that day, but I was on week of finals so I had to study, finish projects, etc. therefore I had no time to do it, but even if it is a month later, here it is.

I love jumpsuits, jumpsuits very comfortable and make you look put together when in fact all you did was take your closet and wear it. And while many people tease me I'm "overdress" I do not know, being "overdress" is something that I really enjoy, I do not think one should dress up just for a special occasion, for me every day is special, I like to dress up even on a normal day where I just go to college.

You can never please everyone and no matter what you do people are always going to criticize you, so you better do what you like, wear what makes you feel happy and comfortable, I don't know if other people have these experiences but it very curious how regularly this happens to me, but I really don't care it's just something that catches my attention.

Moving on...Yes! I know I wear my denim jackets all the time!, but I really love them and I think they're the perfect addition to any outfit, so of course I wore my denim jacket and strappy heels with floral pattern to add some color.

So don't forget, get dressed however you want, it doesn't matter if the others give you weird looks, whats important is that you're happy and you feel comfortable with what you're wearing.

¡Hola a todos! el día de hoy como pudieron darse cuenta por el título, les traigo mi ultimo outfit post con ¡20 años! :O si! ¡mañana es mi cumpleaños! wuhuuuuu (: pero bueno...

me encanta este outfit y me parece perfecto para salir a comer, una date night, o salir con tus amigos o amigas a un almuerzo para ponerse al día o algo por el estilo, me encanta los colores neutros y esta clutch!! es de lo más perfecto que he visto en mi vida! me encanta lo típico y me encanta ver como en Guatemala se hacen cosas tan bonitas y únicas, por lo que esta clutch me pareció el complemento perfecto para este outfit.

Así que me encanta y me siento muy orgullosa de este outfit que es el ultimo con 20 años! hahaha yo sé que muchos pensaran que dramática o que exagerada, pero estoy a punto de empezar mi tercer década y me parece increíble como se pasa el tiempo! así que espero les haya gustado mi ultimo outfit con 20 años! hahaha espero tengan una semana llena de éxitos y bendiciones, que todo les salga bien y no tengan tanta tarea y que estudiar para exámenes como yo ): pero bueno, que tengan una buena semana, nos vemos cuando ya tenga 21! ;) hahaha.

Hi everybody! today as you could tell by the title, I bring you my last outfit post with 20 years! :O yes! Tomorrow is my birthday! wuhuuuuu (: but moving on...

I love this outfit and I think its perfect to grab a bite, date night, or go out with friends to lunch to catch up or something like that, I love the neutral colors and the clutch!! it is the most perfect thing I've seen in my life! I love typical textiles but the thing I love the most is that is handmade in Guatemala, so this clutch was the perfect complement to this outfit.

So I love and I am very proud of my last outfit with 20 years! hahaha I know that a lot of you are thinking that Im so dramatic or exaggerated, but I'm about to start my third decade and its incredible how time flies! so I hope you liked my last outfit with 20 years! hahaha hope you have a week full of successes and blessings, and I hope you dont have much homework or study for tests like me): , have a great week, see you when I'm 21! ;) Hahaha.

Ok, tenía planeado postear este outfit el lunes que como todos sabemos, fue el Star Wars Day, pero he estado muy ocupada con la universidad que no tuve tiempo para hacerlo ): así que aunque sea tarde aquí está mi Star Wars Day outfit.

Como todos sabemos Star Wars VII - The Force Awakens es una de las películas más esperadas este año y como millones de personas más estoy muy emocionada por ver el resultado desde que Walt Disney Company compró Lucasfilm, así que a esperar a diciembre para verla, que tengan un buen día y Que la Fuerza los acompañe.

Ok, I planned to post this outfit on Monday, as we all know, was the Star Wars Day, but I've been busy with university I did not have time to do it, so here is my Star Wars Day outfit.

As we all know Star Wars VII - The Force Awakens is one of the most anticipated movies this year, so as everybody else i'm super excited to see the movie since Walt Disney Company bought Lucasfilm, so now we just have to wait till december to watch it, have a great day and May the Force be with you.

Y aquí estoy una vez más con un nuevo post en el segmento de "fashion at a fraction" que por si no habían visto el post pasado, es un nuevo segmento que quise incorporar al blog, en donde armo outfits con la mayor cantidad de piezas de las tan famosas "pacas", mostrando así una vez mas que no se necesita gastar mucho dinero para poder vestirnos bien.

Ya no había usado tacones desde hace tiempo y hoy tenía ganas de usar unos así que use este pantalón que compre no hace mucho, pero no había usado.
Desde que lo vi, me encanto, porque los que han ido a pacas, no me dejaran mentir que es bien difícil encontrar pantalones, así que cuando vi estos que eran high wasted, solo rogaba porque me quedaran, y ¡así fue! esta blusa también la encontré en una de mis tantas visitas y la denim jacket que por supuesto la han visto ya varias veces (y la seguirán viendo ¡millones de veces más!) #sorrynotsorry

And here I am once more with a new "fashion at a fraction" post, if you don't know what that is, it's a new segment that I wanted to incorporate to the blog, where I put together outfits with as many pieces from "thriftshops", proving that you don'tt need to spend a lot of money to dress well.

I haven't worn Heels in so long, so today was one of those days where I wanted to wear them, and I decided to wear this high waisted jeans that I got a while ago but had not used

I fell in love with this high wasted jeans when I saw them so I was hoping they fit, and they did! I also found this really cute blouse with this kinda like lace detail that I love. and to top it all off of course a denim jacket! which you have seen several times (and will continue to see it a thousand times more!) #sorrynotsorry

Me encantan los vestidos largos, creo que si tuviera que elegir una prenda para usar el resto de mi vida seria esta o los jumpsuits, rompers ( todavía no me he decidido ;D ) hahaha hay de tantos estilos, formas, colores, etc.

Este vestido lo tengo desde hace años y es de mis favoritos el estampado me parece muy interesante y siempre me hacen cumplidos cuando lo uso (:

el estilo y estampado es perfecto para este clima tan cálido que hemos tenido últimamente.

I love maxi dresses, I think if I had to wear one piece of clothing for the rest of my life it would be this or jumpsuits, rompers (I have not decided yet ;D ) hahaha there are so many styles, shapes, colors, etc.

Aveces me gusta combinar las cosas de una manera diferente, como con este outfit que no queria usar tenis ni flats, ni nada por el estilo, entonces decidi ver como se veria con mis Dr.Martens. Y tengo que decir que ¡me encantó el resultado!, tienen razon la decir que van con todo, son super comodas y le agregan ese toque diferente a cualquier outfit.

En la noche tuve que ir a una cena y lo que hice para transicionar este outfit de dia a noche, fue cambiar las botas por unos tacones y ¡listo!.

Sometimes I like to combine things in a different way, as with this outfit I did not want to wear tennis or flats, or anything like that, so I decided to see how it would look with my Dr. Martens. And I have to say I loved the result!, people are right to say that the Dr. Martens go with everything!, plus they are super comfortable and they add that unexpected twist to any outfit.

At night I had to go to dinner and what I did to transition this outfit from day to night, was to change the boots for heels and voila!
