Seasons of moods are constantly passing through me on any given day. I can start my day with the emphatic warmth of joy, which may pass on to a warm breeze of serenity, which slowly freezes to the melancholic blues. I weather the passing storms of doubt and anxiety, fully knowing that the rays of delight will warm my soul yet again. Yes, clothes are an extension of who you are, but are also an expression of your emotional state.

I find comfort in wearing simple all black on days when I may feel vulnerable, as the dark hue acts as a kind of armour, preparing me for what lies ahead on a specific day. A cobalt blue dress plays to my bolder more gregarious side, demanding to be seen as it shines brightly from my frame. Combat boots and leather on rebellious days of feeling edgy, and sweet soft summer dresses, for frolicking in the African summer sun. Seasons of moods are expressed through seasons of clothes, which have nothing to do with the weather. This is why I love this sporadic, spontaneous expression of feeling and self, because the right clothing on the right day can make you feel so alive.

As I grow, I constantly learn new things about myself, and the flux of feelings and growth lead to the flux of garb which almost create a time line of who I was just by what I was wearing. With this in mind, I know that my personal style and views on fashion will change over time as I change within myself. This ignites the innate ardour I have for fashion, as it is an unpredictable troposphere of seasons of style.
