6–8:15 p.m. in the Worship Center at 116 E. Ahlvers, Port Angeles.

For children 4 years old and potty-trained through just finished 5th grade.

Footprints Around the World

The Footprints Around the World project is following the theme of Isaiah 52:7 — We are remembering and praying for each of our missionaries that are dedicating their lives to evangelizing the gospel of Jesus Christ around the world. Please cut out and decorate footprints that represent one of our missionaries and they will be added to the wall as we celebrate their journeys across the mountains to proclaim Christ.

When you choose a missionary to post on the wall the Missions Board hopes you will stay in contact with them and pray for them throughout the year. You will find more information and materials for you to create your own footprints at the Missionary table after church.

Entries accepted February 19 – May 13. Posters may be turned in at the church office, the missions table in the foyer or to your Sunday School/Youth Group leader.

Judging at the May 2o Missions Luncheon. (Come vote for your favorite!)

Winners announced at the Missions July 15 Christmas in July luncheon.

Sizes: 8.5 x 11-inches up to 22 x 28-inches.

Please make sure to mark your artwork on the back with your name, address, phone, age and grade.

Mediums: All mediums accepted.

Guest speaker, Galen Currah, is speaking at both Sunday services and also at the Upper Room on Saturday evening.

Conference Speakers

Keynote speaker: Galen Currah, Community Vision International – Galen and his wife, Jennifer, worked twelve years in West and East Africa. In the 1980s, he served as communications support consultant to rural community development programs in Africa, and in the 1990s as a social research consultant. His consulting work has taken him to several countries in Africa, Asia and Europe. Galen holds three advanced degrees, including a doctorate in intercultural studies. Galen and Jennifer make their home in Oregon (USA) where he currently serves as an adjunct instructor in a graduate school, teaching social research methods, writing training materials, mentoring community transformation workers, and consulting with organizations internationally. ball point stick pens -200 or 20 pkgs of 10
lunch sacks -500 or 10 pkgs of 50
unbleached (not white) coffee filters -250 or 2 pkgs of 200
plastic Easter eggs -tons or 10 dozen
Play-Dough -5 pkgs
masking tape -10 rolls
glue sticks -15 pkgs
paper towels -10 rolls
baby wipes -10 pkgs
cleaning wipes -3 pkgs
quart size baggies -3 boxes
vanilla frosting -5 tubs
candy sprinkles -10 shakers
