Servant and the Haiyan Benefit Anthology

It's been a trying 2013. Personal and health matters hit hard and my hard drive and backups crashing, lost hundreds of hours of work into the Servant issues, particularly the upcoming ones. I'll be the first to admit, depression hit hard. But life goes on and I'm moving forward.

To start the year right, I'm involved with an anthology of international artists gathered together to volunteer time and talent for the victims of Typhoon Haiyan (or Yolanda, as it is named in the Philippines). Typhoon Yolanda and its effects remain one of the most devastating disasters in the history of mankind and the people affected need all the help they can get. So I've put Servant #3 on pause while developing material for the Anthology. You can find the indiegogo page here:

http://www.indiegogo.com/projects/haiyan-benefit-anthology

Here's a sneak peek of one of my contributions: Galang Kaluluwa, who is one of the Philippine mythological gods and is a primary inspiration for the character of Servant.

Spread the word or donate! Any help is most appreciated. Proceeds will go to the Philippine Red Cross for the victims of Haiyan/Yolanda.

The 3rd issue of Servant is delayed due to circumstances beyond my control, but things are still progressing (albeit slowly). For now, here's a promo image first shown in the official Facebook Fan Page (which may or may not be the cover to the third issue. If you've read the second issue of Servant, you'll know there's a smackdown coming around in the next chapter.

In the meantime, you can still download Servant #1 for free. Just follow this link: http://comics.drivethrustuff.com/product/102925/Servant-%231

You can also read the Black and White version at pmangahub.com.

SERVANT girls Alex and Kat are doing a Sexy Pictorial!!!

The Del Maestro sisters from Servant, Gabriel's gal-pal Alex and academic rival Katsuko, will be featured at Online "Lad's Mag" Hot Damn It! soon! While I am usually overprotective of my characters, I thought it would be a kick to do and provided the site with mock interviews and photos.

Viewer discretion: Hot Damn It! contains content and images recommended for mature audiences. So yes, the girls will be in revealing and sexy, bikinis and lingerie, but done artistically and tastefully.

You can check the site here before the Servant article goes live here: http://www.hotdamnit.com/

GEEKY GIRL REVIEWS SERVANT #2!

2013-03-02T10:19:00.002-08:00

Review of Servant #2 by Geeky Girl @Irene Enriquez:

"I just recently finished reading the second issue, and I immensely enjoyed it. It's not as action-packed as the first issue, but it is still full of surprises. I actually like the fact that the second issue is more focused on Gabriel's internal battle. It gives his character more depth. And as usual, the other characters are just as entertaining. This is a must-read for any superhero fans. If you're from the Philippines, you shouldn't miss this one! It's really awesome to see familiar places as the story unfolds! :) "
