&lt;br /&gt;
Aqui estão reunidas desde as  primeiras iniciativas, até as que atualmente manifestam-se no mundo.&lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;
O  objetivo deste site é divulgar, de modo simples e verdadeiro, todas as  contribuições de vários segmentos da sociedade em relação a esta ação mundial,  que embeleza com seu tom rosa, nas mais diversas nuances, monumentos e locais  históricos, no sentido de nos mostrar, de modo belo e feminino, a importância da  luta contra o câncer que mais mata mulheres em todo o mundo.&lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;
O  importante é, na realidade, focar este sério assunto nos 12 meses do ano, já que  a doença é implacável e se faz presente não só no mês de outubro. No entanto,  este mês é representativo para a causa, tornando-se especial e destacado dos  demais. &lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;
Ninguém é dono desta iniciativa. Simplesmente desejamos  contar a história como ela é, respeitando aqueles que, muitas vezes de modo  anônimo, prestaram a sua homenagem e manifestaram seu acolhimento à causa.&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/span&gt;&lt;br /&gt;

da população brasileira adulta é viciada em nicotina. Além de prejudicar o 
orçamento doméstico, o consumo de tabaco leva ao surgimento de vários males e, 
consequentemente, à diminuição da espectativa de vida da população. &lt;/b&gt;&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/div&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;
&lt;span style="font-family: Verdana;"&gt;&lt;span style="font-size: x-small;"&gt;A &lt;b&gt;nicotina&lt;/b&gt; é um 
composto orgânico, e é &lt;b&gt;o principal alcalóide do tabaco&lt;/b&gt;. (Alcalóides são 
compostos orgânicos nitrogenados provindo de plantas, que tem efeitos 
fisiológicos nos seres humanos). A nicotina está presente em toda a planta do 
tabaco, mas principalmente nas folhas, correspondendo a 5% em peso da planta. 
Tanto o tabaco (&lt;i&gt;Nicotiana tabacum&lt;/i&gt;) quanto a nicotina foram denominadas 
por Jean Nicot, um embaixador de Portugal, que enviou sementes de tabaco para 
Paris, em 1550.&lt;br /&gt;A nicotina em estado bruto já era conhecida em 1571, e o 
produto purificado foi obtido em 1828. A fórmula molecular, 
&lt;b&gt;C&lt;sub&gt;10&lt;/sub&gt;H&lt;sub&gt;14&lt;/sub&gt;N&lt;sub&gt;2&lt;/sub&gt;&lt;/b&gt;, 
foi estabelecida em 1843, e a primeira síntese em laboratório foi publicada em 
1904. A nicotina é um dos poucos alcalóides líquidos, à temperatura ambiente. É 
um líquido incolor e inodoro, oleoso; quando exposto ao ar ou à luz, adiquire 
uma coloração marrom e um odor característico do tabaco. &lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;A nicotina age 
de duas maneiras distintas: tem um efeito estimulante e, após algumas tragadas 
profundas, tem efeito tranquilizante, bloqueando o stress. &lt;b&gt;Seu uso causa 
dependência psíquica e física&lt;/b&gt;, provocando sensações desconfortáveis na 
abstinência. Em doses excessivas, &lt;b&gt;é extremamente tóxica&lt;/b&gt;: provoca náusea, 
dor de cabeça, vômitos, convulsão, paralisia e até a morte. A dose letal (LD&lt;sub&gt;50&lt;/sub&gt;&lt;/span&gt;&lt;span style="font-size: x-small;"&gt;) é de apenas 50 mg/kg. &lt;/span&gt;&lt;/span&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;
&lt;span style="font-family: Verdana, Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: x-small;"&gt;Na indústria, é 
obtida através das folhas do tabaco, e é utilizada como um &lt;b&gt;inceticida&lt;/b&gt; (na 
agricultura) e &lt;b&gt;vermífugo&lt;/b&gt; (na pecuária). Pode ainda ser convertido para o 
ácido nicotínico e, então, ser usado como &lt;b&gt;suplemento alimentar&lt;/b&gt;.&lt;/span&gt;&lt;br /&gt;

exemplar de 22 de setembro/1995 da &lt;b&gt;revista Science&lt;/b&gt;, pesquisadores do 
Columbia-Presbyterian Medical Center publicaram um artigo revelando o mecanismo 
de ação da nicotina no SNC. &lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Eles identificaram um novo receptor, chamado 
de&lt;b&gt; receptor nicotínico&lt;/b&gt;, que se liga à nicotina. Este receptor, 
normalmente, liga-se à &lt;b&gt;acetilcolina,&lt;/b&gt; mais prefere a nicotina, na presença 
desta. &lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Em baixas concentrações, a nicotina ativa o receptor, que causa a 
liberação do neurotransmissor &lt;b&gt;glutamato&lt;/b&gt;, que é um transmissor excitatório 
muito importante no SNC. &lt;/span&gt;

role of nicotine in making cigarettes such a difficult habit to 
break&lt;/i&gt;."&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/span&gt;&lt;span style="color: black; font-family: Verdana, Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: x-small;"&gt;Dois anos mais tarde, dois 
cientistas do &lt;b&gt;National Institute of Environmental Health Sciences&lt;/b&gt;, em 
Washington D.C., descobriram que estes receptores, no hippocampus, estão 
associados aos processos de aprendizado e memória. Os cientistas também 
elaboraram um mecanismo molecular que pode ajudar a explicar algumas patologias, 
como algumas formas de epilepsia, doenças de Alzheimer e Parkinson, dependência 
de nicotina e depressão. Seu trabalho foi publicado, em 1997, no J&lt;b&gt;ournal of 
Physiology&lt;/b&gt;.&lt;/span&gt;&lt;br /&gt;

subseqüentemente, como depressor. O uso de altas doses de nicotina tem rápido 
efeito estimulante seguido de &lt;b&gt;efeito depressor duradouro.&lt;/b&gt;&lt;/span&gt;.&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/div&gt;

fumantes não sao os únicos afetados pela fumaça do cigarro. A fumaça do cigarro 
no meio ambiente (FCM), também chamada de &lt;b&gt;fumo passivo&lt;/b&gt; ou fumo de segunda 
mao, é um perigo sério para o não fumante, principalmente para as crianças. A 
FCM contém mais de 4.000 substancias químicas e, pelo menos, 40 substancias 
conhecidamente cancerígenas. &lt;br /&gt;Os estudos mostram que o&lt;b&gt; risco de morte&lt;/b&gt; 
por doença cardíaca é aproximadamente 30% maior em pessoas expostas à fumaça do 
cigarro no meio ambiente e em casa. Os filhos de fumantes apresentam muito mais 
casos de infecção do que crianças de não-fumantes. Mulheres não-fumantes 
expostas à fumaça de cigarro também têm mais chances de dar a luz à bebês de 
baixo peso. &lt;/span&gt;&lt;/span&gt;

&lt;span style="color: black;"&gt;&lt;span style="font-family: Verdana, Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: x-small;"&gt;A fumaça do cigarro 
contém &lt;b&gt;várias substâncias carcinogênicas&lt;/b&gt;, como o mitroso nornicotina, 
monóxido de carbono, acroleína, benzeno, tolueno, cresol, fenol, cloreto de 
vinila, benzoantraceno, benzopireno, etc. Essas substâncias foram detectadas no 
tabaco através de análises químicas conduzidas pelos pesquisadores Hoffmann e 
Brunnemann, em 1976/77.&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/span&gt;&lt;br /&gt;

&lt;br /&gt;MPRJ denuncia administradores e funcionários do 
Estaleiro Aliança por homicídio culposo &lt;br /&gt;O Ministério Público do Estado do 
Rio de Janeiro denunciou à Justiça, pelo crime de homicídio culposo (sem 
intenção de matar), dez administradores e seis funcionários do Estaleiro 
Aliança. A denúncia, assinada pelo Promotor de Justiça Cláudio Calo Sousa, 
titular da 4ª Promotoria de Investigação Penal da 2ª Central de Inquéritos, 
descreve 14 falhas que concorreram para a morte do prático encanador Victor 
Rodrigues da Rosa, de 23 anos, no dia 14 de dezembro de 2009. &lt;br /&gt;De acordo com 
a denúncia, a vítima morreu após sofrer traumatismo craniano quando realizava 
uma atividade de alto risco com emprego de gás nitrogênio pressurizado. O texto 
da denúncia narra que durante o procedimento, no interior de um navio em 
construção, a abraçadeira metálica de fixação da mangueira flexível se rompeu, 
sendo arremessada com violência em direção à cabeça do prático. &lt;br /&gt;Figuram como 
denunciados pelo MPRJ os responsáveis pelo Estaleiro integrantes dos órgãos da 
administração, além de dois técnicos de segurança do trabalho, um engenheiro de 
segurança do trabalho, um técnico naval, um contramestre de instrumentação e um 
meio oficial de encanador. A denúncia descreve minuciosamente a negligência de 
cada um deles que resultou na morte do funcionário. &lt;br /&gt;A denúncia frisa que 
Victor era jovem e inexperiente, com apenas cinco meses de admissão, e estava 
executando função diversa da que fora contratado para exercer, sem qualquer 
treinamento. Também menciona a ausência de ordens de serviço no local, 
esclarecendo os riscos, de Equipamento de Proteção Coletiva (EPC), de Permissão 
Especial de Trabalho (PT) e de Análise Preliminar de Riscos (APR). Além disso, 
segundo o Promotor, o capacete tinha resistência insuficiente e, entre outras 
falhas, o posto de trabalho era ergonomicamente inadequado, assim como o magote 
utilizado. &lt;br /&gt;"Diante das inúmeras falhas, que demonstram elevado nível de 
negligência e descaso com as normas de segurança do trabalho, o Ministério do 
Trabalho e Emprego inspecionou o Estaleiro Aliança dias após o grave acidente. A 
Superintendência Regional do Trabalho e Emprego em Niterói lavrou diversos autos 
de infração, chegando, inclusive a lavrar termo de interdição, interrompendo as 
atividades", diz Cláudio Calo Sousa. &lt;br /&gt;Para o MPRJ, houve violação ao 
princípio constitucional da dignidade do trabalho humano. Apesar das falhas, o 
Estaleiro Aliança recusou-se a assinar um Termo de Ajustamento de Conduta (TAC) 
com o Ministério Público do Trabalho para sanar os problemas, o que, para o 
MPRJ, demonstra, inclusive, "a falta de comprometimento com a segurança do 
trabalho". &lt;br /&gt;A denúncia foi baseada no laudo pericial do Instituto de 
Criminalística Carlos Éboli (ICCE), na fiscalização do Ministério do Trabalho e 
em depoimentos de testemunhas e funcionários, além das próprias versões da 
maioria dos denunciados ouvidos. &lt;br /&gt;A pena para o crime de homicídio culposo, 
com a agravante de ter sido causado por inobservância de regra técnica de 
profissão, varia de um ano e quatro meses a quatro anos de prisão. &lt;br /&gt;Para que 
sejam adotadas outras providências, inclusive preventivas, o MPRJ encaminhou 
cópias da denúncia à Advocacia-Geral da União (AGU) e ao MP do Trabalho, até 
porque, de acordo com o Promotor, a morte do funcionário Victor não foi um caso 
isolado, já tendo ocorrido outras no Estaleiro Aliança.&lt;br /&gt;Fonte: Ministerio

O&amp;nbsp;serviço a ser executado era retirada de umas&amp;nbsp;telas de ferro&amp;nbsp;que isolavam as helices de grandes ventiladores, e no processo seria utilizado uma lixadeira, o risco era exatamente as fagulhas que seriam liberadas pela lixadeira no processo de corte de soldas para serem reitadas as proteções, fogo com óleo não combina, era um potencial risco de principio de incêndio,&amp;nbsp;mas foi detectado antes do inicio das atividades e solicitada a limpeza imediata do local.&lt;/div&gt;

&lt;span style="font-size: x-large;"&gt;&lt;strong&gt;D&lt;/strong&gt;&lt;/span&gt;urante realização de um serviço, ocorreu uma situação de risco,&amp;nbsp;no processo de&amp;nbsp;içamento de uma peça da Torre Francionadora, tratava-se de uma chapa que seria montada dentro da torre, o problema era que suas laterais cortantes acabaram por romperem a corda ancorada no topo da torre justamente para o içamento de materiais, deu-se que infelizmente a a chapa caiu de uma certa altura, mas sem maiores danos.&lt;/div&gt;
