Innovate!Europe has started its final phase in Zaragoza, Spain. Yesterday´s official opening featured the conference and roundtable discussion “Thriving in the crisis”, leaded by Ignacio de la Vega, founder and director of the International Centre for Entrepreneurship and Ventures Development at Instituto de Empressa Business School.

All finalists, including zuppex by Sevenclick, are attending today to a series of Master Classes which will offer strategic counsel and first-hand learning to all of us.

Blog&More was an idea of our CEO Daniel Vecino which starts last July 15 of 2007. Using Web 2.0 services and coordinated by professional journalists, all the technical and business team of SevenClick daily manage, study and analyze mobile technology news in order to create, investigative and promote articles using blogs, podcasts, video casts and events. All of this to let people know how important is mobile technology in our lifes today and how it can change traditional standards like manual signature into digital signature.

We have reached 1000 post published, that means almost three post per day, sounds not enough but this is only a little part of our work in SevenClick were our main activity is the mobile software development. Conference of Ricardo Villate from Research and Consulting IDC talked about the latests LATAM study about the global interest on mobility developments.

Finally the first Guru´s conference: V. Vaiyanthan from ICICI Bank Limited. An interesting presentation based on theories to leave some interesting reflections.

Last friday 6, SevenClick celebrated its first anniversary with a Guitar Hero Battle. The event took place in SevenClick’s Lifestyle Room and it was a free for all event, open to SevenClick, TB·Solutions staff members and anyone. In the end, there were 13 rockers from SevenClick and TBS. The game chosen was of course Guitar Hero III for the Wii.

This was the scene: 42″ LCD, nintendo Wii, six big Speakers (of course they were not real, made by me from recycled cardboard), and The Guitar Hero III copy for Wii with two guitar controllers.

1st Round

In the picture below, the first opponents: Alberto Aparicio VS Borja Ramos, Alberto won this match.

Victor Ferre VS Rafael García. Finally Rafael won, look at his face like saying, “not enough for me”. Of course, Rafaél won, but was not easy.

Javier Rubio VS Raúl Ramos. Raúl was a begginer so Javier beat him.

Jesús Marin VS JM Cristobal, this was an exciting battle, both with expert skills. Finally JM won.

Beatriz VS Sergio Castellote, it wasn´t as easy as Sergio thought though he won the match.

Me VS Daniel Vecino. He beat me, but it was in mortal drained time.

Me VS Miguel Angel barea. This was a Mission Impossible for me. I lost again, I had to play two times because we was odd number of players.

2nd Round

Daniel Vecino VS Rafaél García face to face. Daniel could not resist, Rafaél won.

Unbelievable, JM beat Miguel Angel Barea in a wild battle although they didn´t express the same in the picture below.

Alberto VS Sergio, Alberto needs practice.

3º round

As a result of this odd numer of players, Sergio had to fight against Javier, finally Javier won.

Rafaél García VS Jose Manuel Cristobal, both with great skills, but “Rafa” was the king.

One year of SevenClick!!

If you are a regular follower of SevenClick’s Blog, you might know that today is our company’s birthday. A whole year has already passed, and it’s time to look back.

We started working hard, literally speaking since the first day we had to assemble our desks. During the first weeks, the office looked like a warzone. Cables hanging down the ceiling, holes in the technical floor… a complete mess, in summary. But, you have to take things the way they come, and SevenClick started work activities this way. Fortunately, little by little our office (should I say our second house?) started to look like a workplace.

Our first big moment was the inauguration Party, which took place last September. There were plenty of friends celebrating such important moment with us. I’d like to thank them for coming, for their support and best wishes. The party was a big success.

At that moment, we had managed to start the company, to define our work policies, to create a nice work environment, and the most important thing: to create a team, not just a group of people.
From that moment, engines start working, with plenty of proposals presented and an interesting amount of work to do. But, this is the funny part of the job, isn’t it? Right now, after a year of work, we have a solid team with great skills being applied to what we like most: Mobility and Mobile software development. And graphic design, of course.

Finally, I’d like to thank all SevenClick members for their work, enthusiasm, and friendliness. SevenClick, you are the best!!!!

The project has been requested by PSP SL, a leader company in Fleet localization and management services. This is a strategic bet for their MobileFleet solution, and will undoubtedly be the banner of this platform during upcoming months.

MobileFleet iPhone edition allows real time fleet management and monitoring, allowing any kind of vehicle, even motorbikes. This way, MobileFleet can locate any vehicle through Apple’s mobile device, using vector maps and satellite pictures.

The system is able to notify about the state of the vehicle, obtaining information such as speed, mileage, etc.. It can also generate immediate alerts in case of robbery. Especially important is the report generation module. This module allows to obtain reports with activity periods, alert reporting, start-stop actions, etc.. All of this taking advantage of the iPhone power and easiness.

MobileFleet iPhone Edition was released last Tuesday, 29 January, during Telefonica Movilforum Show, obtaining a satisfactory response from the attendees and several commercial contracts for PSP SL, at an international level.

This way, visitors, workers and accredited professionals will have a unified RFID card. This card will be compatible with both existing access systems operating in the area where the international exposition takes place. One of these systems controls access gates and the other one, restricted areas inside Expo 2008.

Daniel Vecino, CEO and founder of SevenClick, showed his satisfaction with this announcement, since it settles the company’s position in the field of contact-less technologies, such as RFID and NFC. These technologies are key points for the development of logistics and banking enterprises.

Last friday, SevenClick celebrated its first Christmas Wii Golf Tourmanent. The event took place in SevenClick’s Lifestyle Room and it was open to SevenClick and TB·Solutions staff members. In the end, there were 6 golfers fighting for 2 prizes. The game chosen was PGA Tiger Woods 08 for Wii, what else?

The Tournament was divided in two categories: Beginner and Advanced. Or, what’s the same, TB·Solutions and SevenClick. Well, you know, we play Wii every day here at SevenClick and our preferred game is Tiger Woods, so putting all the people in the same category wouldn’t had been fair.
