MFT's Camp Create Day 4,5 & Bonus Challenge

Hello everyone! Yesterday I shared my first three projects for MFT's Camp Create. I'm back today with day 4,5 and the bonus challenge.

The first card I have to share today is for Day 4. Day four's challenge was Sensational Sliders. You can check out all of day four's challenge details HERE .

This challenge was a little tricky for me. I didn't have any slider/channel dies in my stash so I had to improvise and create my own. In the end it wasn't to hard I just used one of the banner dies from MFT's Die-namics Blueprints 27 Die Set to create my slider/channel. I die cut some white cardstock with the large scalloped rectangle die from MFT's Die-namics Blueprints 27 Die Set and then used the banner die to create my slider channel. I die cut the banner at an angle to create a downward slope for my snowboarding penguin. I ink blended the top portion of my panel with some ink to create my sky line and stamped my "I'm Snow Board Without You" sentiment towards the bottom part of my panel. On another sheet of white cardstock I stamped the snow boarding penguin, two small mountains, and a large mountain from the Chill Wishes Stamp Set. I colored my images with some spectrum Noir markers, fussy cut them, and attached them to my card.

The second card I have to share today is for Day 5. Day fives's challenge was Glitzy Glitter. You can check out all of day five's challenge details HERE.

I absolutely love the flying dragon from the Magical Dragons Stamp Set from MFT's so I thought he would be perfect for this challenge. I started this card by die cutting some green glittered cardstock with the large scalloped rectangle die from MFT's Die-namics Blueprints 27 Die Set. I attached my glittered cardstock to my white cardstock and set it aside to work on my stamped panel. I die cut a pierced rectangle out of some white cardstock and stamped my flying dragon and sentiment. I colored the dragon with some Spectrum Noir Markers and added some texture to his body with some clear adhesive. I've never used this technique before but I love how the clear adhesive added texture. Once my image was colored I masked him off, ink blended some light blue clouds behind him, and attached my finished panel to my glittered piece of cardstock.

The last and final card I have to share today is for the bonus challenge. This year's bonus challenge was Divine Dry Embossing. You can check out all of the bonus challenge details HERE.

I kept my card pretty simple for this challenge. I followed along with Stephanie's video and dry embossed my card front with the largest stitched mini die from the Die-namics Stitched Mini Scallop Circle STAX die set. Once I had my card front dry embossed I die cut the second largest stitched mini die from the same die set out of some white cardstock and stamped/heat embossed the cute little hedgehog from the Happy Hedgehogs Stamp Set. I colored my little hedgehog with some Spectrum Nor Markers and stamped/heat embossed my "Hello, Friend" sentiment onto a small piece of white cardstock. I added some foam adhesive to my sentiment and attached it right below my hedgehog image. I can't get over how cute he turned out. I hope you enjoyed day two of my Camp Create projects. MFT's Camp Create Day 1,2,&3

Hello everyone! I've been super busy this weekend creating cards for all six of MFT's Camp Create challenges. Today I will be sharing day 1, day 2, and day 3.

The first card I have to share is for day 1. Day one's challenge was Wonderful Watercolor. You can check out all of day one's challenge details HERE .

I created this fun watercolored background with some different colored Tattered Angels Mist and a paintbrush. Once my watercolored background was dry I used the large scalloped die cut from the Die-namics Blueprints 27 die set to cut out my panel. I then die cut the phrase Hello Love from the middle of my panel with the Die-namics Happy Greetings die set. I stamped one of the adorable little ewes from the Ewe Are the Best stamp set onto some white cardstock, colored him with some Spectrum Noir markers and attached him to the bottom of my card..

The second card I have to share is for day 2. Day two's challenge was Remarkable Resist. You can check out all of day two's challenge details HERE.

I had lots of fun with this challenge and created a fun two dimensional card. I started by heat embossing a

bunch of images from the Polynesian Paradise stamp set & Penguins in Paradise stamp set onto some white cardstock. Once I had all of my images heat embossed I colored all of them and the background with some Spectrum Noir Markers. Normally I would only use watercolors for this technique but I thought it would be fun to change it up and use some markers. I have to say, I love how it turned out. I really wanted to add some dimension to my card so I used three different dies from the Die-namics Blueprints 27 die set to die cut and pop up my card panel before adding a super cute penguin to my sentiment banner.

The third and final card I have to share today is for day 3. Day three's challenge was Spectacular Shakers. You can check out all of day three's challenge details HERE.

This was also a fun challenge to play along with. I used some dies from the Die-namics Blueprints 27 die set and five different stamps from the Harvest Buddies stamp set to create my shaker card. I started by stamping my base images ( the squirrel and tree limb) onto some white cardstock that I die cut with the large scalloped die from the Die-namics Blueprints 27 die set. I colored all of my images with some Spectrum Noir Markers and ink blended some clouds and grass behind them. On another sheet of white cardstock I die cut another scalloped panel and die cut the center out with the second largest die in the Die-namics Blueprints 27 die set. This is how I created the frame for my shaker card. I added some clear acrylic to my frame along with some foam adhesive and set it aside. Before attaching my acrylic frame to my base panel I added a bunch of little acorns I colored and fussy cut along with some mini beads to my base panel. All that was left to do was attach my frame to enclose my shaker elements, add my second stamped and fussy cut squirrel to the top of my shaker card, and add my stamped sentiment.

Hello everyone! I'm stopping in to share my card for this weeks My Favorite Things Wednesday Sketch Challenge #334. You can check out all the challenge details HERE. I followed along with the sketch and only changed the bottom edge. I used a fun Stitched Snow Drift to die cut the bottom edge of my white cardstock instead of a scalloped edged die.

For my window frame I used two different dies. I started by die cutting a piece of wintergreen cardstock with a double stitched square die from MFT's. Once I had my square die cut I took a simple square die from Spellbinders and cut the inside out to create my frame. I adhered my frame to some fun patterned paper from Crate paper, attached it to a white piece of cardstock that I die cut, and adhered both pieces to my patterned paper card front.

I inked up one of the adorable little penguins from MFT's BB Penguins in Paradise stamp set, colored him with some Spectrum Noir markers, and fussy cut him. I also paper pieced his little floaty with some striped patterned paper before I adhered him to my card front. I added a fun little stitched banner with a mini gold staple to the upper right of my frame and a small fussy cut flower to the bottom right of my stitched border to complete my visual triangle. I added a fun sentiment that reads "You make everyday cooler" to the bottom part of my card and my card was complete. I hope you enjoyed my card. Thanks for visiting!

Owl-Ways On My Mind

Hello everyone! Today I have a fun critter card to share for this weeks "Little Critters" challenge over at Simon Says Stamp Monday Challenge Blog. I started by stamping three of these adorable little owls from MFT's Critter Clan onto some Neenah 110 LB Smooth Solar White Paper. Once I had all three of my images stamped I used a pierced rectangle die to die cut around my images. I colored my images with some Spectrum Noir markers and masked them off to do a little background stamping. I used two of the little tree leaves from the same MFT's stamp set and lightly stamped them behind my owl images.

I layered my stamped piece onto a scalloped yellow piece of cardstock that I die cut with MFT's Die-namics Blueprints 27 and then adhered both pieces to my kraft card base. I wanted to added a cute little sentiment to my card front so I heat embossed the "You're Owl-Ways On My Mind" sentiment from MFT's Critter Clan stamp set onto some black cardstock that I die cut with one of the banners from MFT's Die-namics Blueprints 27. I added my sentiment right below my three stamp owls to ground them and my card was complete. I had lots of fun creating this one. I hoped you enjoyed. Thanks for visiting!

Hello everyone! Today I have a fun loved theme card to share. I created this card for Spectrum Noir's February monthly challenge. This months challenge is Anything Goes and the bonus theme is Love & Friendship. You can check out all the challenge details HERE.

Since its February I thought it would be fun to play along with the Love & Friendship bonus theme. To create my card I started with A2 sized gray card base and adhered a slightly smaller piece of patterned paper to the front. I added a second smaller piece of patterned paper to the bottom left of my card base and adhered a row of admit one tickets across the bottom of my card front. I stamped the cute little sheep holding a heart from MFT's BB Ewe Are the Best stamp set in some Tuxedo Black Memento Ink onto some white cardstock, colored him with my Spectrum Noir Markers, and stamped the "EWE Have My Heart" sentiment from the same stamp set below my image. I matted my image with the same gray cardstock I used for my card base and adhered it to the left side of my card base right over my first three layers.

Hello Everyone! Today I have a cute little card to share that I created for MFT Wednesday Sketch Challenge- Sketch 319. You can check out this weeks sketch below and find all the challenge details HERE.

It's been awhile since I've shared a card for a challenge. I've been wanting to participate along with a MFT sketch challenge for a really long time but haven't got around to it. I really thought his weeks sketch would be fun, its simple and can be interpreted many different ways.

I followed along with the sketch and started by die cutting some mint cardstock with a pierced rectangle die. Once my rectangle panel was die cut I stamped the flying dragon from MFT's BB Magical Dragons stamp set in the center of my panel. I masked him off with some masking paper and ink blended a bright yellow sun right behind his head and wings. After I had my sun ink blended I masked it off with some more masking paper and ink blended some teal clouds behind my sun and dragon image. I removed both masks and colored my dragon to match my coral card base and stamped the "Here's a Birthday Flyby" sentiment in black right below my image. I had lots of fun creating this one.
