Pumpkin Patch

Happy Fall! We decided to take a break from working on our house every single weekend and take the kids to the pumpkin patch, it was a very fun filled morning! Prepare for a picture overload.
We started by looking at the animals, how funny is that goat inside the food trough? haha

Our kids definitely loved the baby bunnies the most.

Idaho Trip

In September i got the chance to go on my first mini vacation all on my own No Kids! Can i get a hallelujah? It was the best first trip ever because i got to go visit my sister in Idaho! On our way the pilot made a special turn so we could marvel at the beauty of Mount Rainier.

When i got there we wasted NO time in keeping busy every minute. The first couple days were full of Thrift store shopping! My top favorite place to shop you just never know what kind of deals you'll find, and we found A LOT of great deals!! I also go to have my first taste of Smashburger....and let me tell you it did not disappoint! And the huckleberry shakes.....to die for!

On Saturday my sister and i got up bright and early so that we could go hike up Table Rock. It was the perfect weather, neither of us had ever done it before......

And these pictures don't do the view any justice you just had to be there.

It was pretty funny because when we got there neither of us knew which path to take to go up, because there were multiple ones, but we ended up taking the steep route on the way up.....and it was hilarious....right Allison? ;)

After we hiked up and hiked down we headed to the Boise Farmers market, and then we met my sister at ZUPA'S for lunch.....by far it's my favorite place to eat and im so sad they don't have any in WA ........yet. But that s'mores brownie.......my mouth waters just thinking about it. After lunch we headed to Craft Warehouse to shop/look around and i ended up getting some cute fabric! Saturday evening consisted of a pizza/lula roe party....all in all a great day!

Sunday we went to listen to Evan give his homecoming talk, Evan you did a great job! Then Allison and i headed to a baby shower of one of her friends. Later that evening my sister picked me up to go to the parents house for dinner. Dinner is always good if Dad is cooking!

More thrift shopping and we stopped in the fabric shop and i fell in love with the blue fabric combo on the left.....kind of wishing i had bought a little bit.......

I was able to get to zupa's one more time before heading to the airport, for my short flight home.

And as much as i was sad to leave Idaho....It was sure nice to have a warm welcome home.

And to see the kids survived.

And that shawn survived.....hahaha

I still can't believe how much travel we've done this year.....SO MUCH! And we might sneak in one more trip before the year's end.

Summer Sewing

I was thinking about the name of my blog last night ' Sew Fantastic ' and realized i haven't posted anything very crafty, or shown what i've been sewing lately. So i thought i'd do a little recap of what i've been sewing over the summer. I had a lot of fun trying out new patterns, and learned so many new sewing skills. A lot of the patterns i tried i will be making again next summer!

So lets get started!

Bow Dress i loved this one!

This one was a little maybe i should say a lot more time consuming and i probably wouldn't make any of these for my shop unless it was a special order. But i do love how it criss-cross ties in the back!

This one was kind of a mashup of 2 different patterns, first time ive ever added ruffle sleeves without a pattern.

Oh, i love me some baby rompers! I couldn't get enough of making these and i can't wait to make more!

This one is the same as the one a couple pictures up with the criss-cross back,this was my first 'test' of sewing this pattern.

Shorts! Definate must next summer!

Oh my goodness these little summer sets,were so fun and quick to make and super cute! Sold a couple and will definetly be making more!

And what kind of summer would it be if i didn't make at least 1 puffy tulle skirt? I mean come on....i can't resist.

And to end the roundup of summer fashion i made some light knit rompers.

And that is where my love of sewing with knits began.

The Fair and a little update.....

Hello you wonderful blog world out there! It's been to long, and I'm going to try and change that! A little current update on us...... Right now in our house Hailey and her Dad are currently recovering from tonsillectomies. For adults the recovery process is a little longer and more painful, though Shawn's tonsils are feeling a lot better his tongue is the thing causing him the most pain, making it hard to talk. We read that, that is a common side affect and that it will feel better over time. For kids, it's supposed to be a quicker recovery, we're on day 3 for Hailey and she seems to be doing pretty good and in pretty good spirits (at least today) but I'm guessing that all the jello,pudding, pancakes, otter pops,shaved ice, Popsicles, smoothies and mac and cheese....have had something to do with it, plus watching movies all day and no school? what could be better than that?.....haha Well we'll see how she is in a couple days, they say it gets worse before it gets better. As for me taking care of 2 people after surgery.....at times it's been overwhelming, but i keep reminding myself ' This to shall pass '

Anyways....Onto happier times before tonsils were being ripped out of throats...

We headed to the fair- The State Fair!

It was our first time going to the state fair, and we made sure to leave bright and early so we could beat the crowds.

When we got there we purchased some tickets and went on the some rides before to many people came. Shawn and Hailey went on the Ferris wheel.

And then Hailey and i went on some faster rides after that.

After we had our fill of rides we headed to the kids section of the fair where they had lots of fun hands on activities and crafts for the kids.

And a picture with the fair mascot- it was really funny because while we were waiting off to the side Aubrey kept getting really close to ropes so she could wave to the mascot....rofl

We ended up using the rest of our tickets on games and shawn won this big turtle!

We also walked around and looked at animals and all sorts of crafty things that people entered.

We walked and walked until our feet could take No More!

But before we left we stopped and got a Dole Whip and it was delicious, but while in line we saw this stand for DEEP FRIED BUTTER

WHAT THE HEART ATTACK?

I was shocked!

Do people really eat deep fried butter?

I have no words!

lol

After treats we headed home, it was definitely a fun day at the fair!

Salad In A Jar

Salads in a jar, something I've always wanted to try

(and as part of my quest to eat healthy seemed like a good idea)

so last week i did it.

It was a lot of prep work, and i told myself - NEVER again.

But in the end it was actually worth it because they tasted amazing, they were filling and we ate them throughout the week

Here's some of the ingredients i used.

I did a chicken bacon salad and a chef salad, both tasted great!

6 made.

Before eating turn it over and let the dressing seep through everything.

Delicious.

Hailey gave me her stamp of approval and was able to eat all of hers!

Next i want to try overnight oats.... Have you tried making a meal in jar?

Favorites

Hello and happy March! I feel like the days and the weeks fly by, and i never have enough time to do anything! So I thought id do a little different kind of blog post and share some of my current favorites with you,because right now i just have a lot of those.

First up Colgate Optic White Toothpaste. I was actually planning to use white strips but in the past my teeth have been pretty sensitive to those, so i thought id give this toothpaste a try first. It says it starts working in 3 days....and that was the truth! love it and love the price even more $3.96 thank you walmart.

Next up the

Urban Decay 24/7 concealer.

Now, I'm not one for buying super expensive makeup but my last concealer lasted me for years - so long that they don't even carry it anymore.

So i did my research browsed around a little and decided id try this one out and I LOVE it! It does an amazing job of covering up my scars,discoloration and any darkness under my eyes.

So even for the price of $18*shudder* for me it will be/IS worth EVERY penny!

Best concealer I've ever used and i know it will last me a long time too.

So if you feel like splurging on a concealer i Highly recommend Urban Decay

Another favorite right now is the

Revlon volume+length mascara.

I love this one because it really works! I've used a lot of mascara throughout my life and this one for me is a keeper. Plus it doesn't go on clumpy and doesn't feel heavy on my eyelashes.

This is one of my new favorites that i got for my birthday!

It's been a couple years since Ive had a pair of Tom's the last pair i had i wore into the ground- literally there is no life left in my last pair, and since then I've been longing for a new pair.

Fast forward 2 years and i got these beauties my favorite pair of shoes!

The Shark Vacuum.

We've needed a new vacuum for a long time our last one was 7 years old!

So we got this one and it is amazing!

Lightweight

Quiet

and moves like a dream!

Another favorite of mine lately is the

'Santa Monica Street Taco' with cilantro lime dressing.

Try saying that 5 times fast!

Sounds like a lot of work, but it actually is a pretty easy meal, and is so delicious!

Last favorite is this little guy.

I'm loving my essential oil diffuser and was really able to use it a lot when i got allergies!
It also changes all sorts of pretty colors.

The Month Of December

Happy January!

I'm sitting here on the couch, i stayed home from church because Aubrey woke up super congested, poor baby, she's had the hardest time napping today :(

So while i'm here i decided it was time to blog about December 2015

Oh what a great month it was, so busy so happy!

I'm just going to touch on the highlights of the month so enjoy this HUGE post of pictures.

So the day after thanksgiving we decided to put up our Christmas tree, its the earliest we have EVER put it up but we wanted to be able to enjoy it for as long as possible!

This year Shawn also put up lights on the outside of the house too and they were awesome!

On Dec 1st Hailey's special little elf Ellie came back to visit aka keep an eye on her! And she brought with her on that first day a special breakfast from the north pole!

And she also brought this fun puzzle set for her as well.

We also enjoyed snow day again this year! We got there bright and early and were able to enjoy the sledding before it started to rain! We did however miss seeing the reindeer, i was disappointed because we miss them every year! I guess we'll try again in 11 months lol

Inside they had there usual Huge room full of crafts for the kids to do.

Another room was go carts and big trikes.

There was a cake walk.

And they had a story time which was so much nicer than it was last year!

We also went back a few weeks later for Journey Through Bethlehem which is SO fun,but i didn't get any pictures from it even though we went twice!

Hailey was excited to see the lights at Evergreen Church that are set to music- love love love it!

This is also one of those 'rare' family photos so enjoy!

Inside they had there big train setup, free hot chocolate and cookies and we also got our picture taken as well.

Later that month we went and visited Santa! Hailey would only see the Santa at the mall because that is the REAL Santa!

And then later that same day Hailey and I both decorated a gingerbread houses! This year instead of putting together the main part of the house with frosting we hot glued it, which made it so much easier to decorate with frosting! Now that is using the ole'noggin if you ask me!

Moving on to Christmas eve. This year my sister and i decided that we'd each send each other's kids a gift to open on Christmas eve and we decided on, PJ's a movie and a treat. Hailey was so excited to open the special Christmas eve gift from aunt Allison! She and Aubrey got he cutest pajamas,the movie miracle on 34th street and treats to eat while we watched the movie (later that afternoon)

Shawn had to work half a day on Christmas Eve this year, so we decided to start a new tradition of going out to breakfast! This year we tried out a little place called the Sugar Shack that we've always wanted to try and it was really good! Shawn got he biscuits and gravy, and i will admit i am NOT a fan of biscuits and gravy, but at this place they were SO good!!

The rest of Christmas eve was spent watch movies

making and decorating cookies for Santa

tracking Santa on the computer

and that's all remember

That night we put out cookies and milk and carrots for the reindeer, read some Christmas stories and then put these 2 to bed!

Christmas DAY! Now, i don't have a lot of pictures from Christmas day because i decided to put the phone down/camera down and just enjoy the day, but here are a couple. Let me tell you it was the PERFECT day. First off the traditional Rudolph pancakes.

Then we opened presents, below is what i got Shawn, it is the softest blanket ever i tell you! I really wish i had gotten his reaction on video it was priceless! I always struggle to get him something that he likes/that doesn't have to be returned but this year i got it right!

After presents i had to do some/a lot of food prep and I put Shawn in charge of the Ham.

We watched a Christmas story over and over again...because it was on tv....haha my favorite movie ever!

Then we ate, and played games and watched movies over and over until it got dark.

It was So nice just spending quality family time ALL day!

Later that same day we met up with Owen and his family to see the Evergreen lights again, it was fun to hang out with them and catch up and was a great ending to Christmas Day!

Creche Festival 2015

Trying to keep up with all the holiday traditions around here! This one was a new one for our family one which I'm sure we'll do again next year. I haven't been to a creche festival since i was a kid living in Woodland California. I've been wanting to go to this one for a couple years now so i was so happy that we were able to make it on the last day! There was over 500 nativities from all around the world! I took tons of pictures! (but i won't post them all) I could tell that a whole lot of effort went into this event, it was VERY well put together, i wasn't sure what to expect but i was blown away!

They also had an activity room with all sorts of kid nativity activities. Another room they had was a dress up room and they'd take your picture i really wish Hailey would of done that one! Maybe next year ;)

The last room we went into was called the 'Christ Room' it had lots of beautiful pictures of Christ throughout his life. It was by far my favorite room!

And you may be wondering where Aubrey was through all this? Well she slept through the whole thing and woke up as we walked out the door!

Thanksgiving 2015

Hello December! It was a busy november full of ups and downs! A couple weeks before thanksgiving we had a huge windstorm that ended up knocking out our power for 4 days! That's the longest i've ever experienced a power outage. Thankfully we had a generator. Then the next week (a week before thanksgiving) Hailey got sick with a cough, she's had coughs before but it only got worse and eventually turned into the croup (which she has also had before) It got so bad one night she had trouble breathing and let me tell you as a Mom there is nothing worse that watching your child struggle to breath and not be able to do anything about it! We ended up taking her to the ER where she got medicine and a breathing treatment. Later that week she was a lot better just in time for...... THANKSGIVING! Thanksgiving was a beautiful day! blue sky and sunny. I just wish it hadn't been so cold!

Started the day by watching the Macy's thanksgiving day parade, a yearly tradition.

While i watched i was also prepping food.

Thanksgiving is also my favorite day to get the newspaper ( i know that's lame) because it's STUFFED full of black Friday adds.

Shawn was in charge of the turkey that had been sitting in the fridge for 3 days and on thanksgiving was still hard as a rock! So he spent a while giving it a hot bath in the sink...lol All in all it turned out amazing and was so yummy!

Because of the turkey still being frozen we didn't end up eating until 2:30 a little later than i wanted to eat but by that time we all really ready to eat!

Turkey,homemade mashed potatoes,i tried a fluffy fruit salad,kale salad rolls,cranberry sauce,pickles and of course deviled eggs!

I also made a peppermint pie as well.

It was all SO good!

After eating we watched movies, and later that evening Shawn took Hailey with him to brave walmart to get some black Friday deals, he ended up getting some good stuff! Shawn also went out the next morning early to get more black Friday stuff that he had is eye on, he was really into all that! I however wasn't looking for anything in particular and i feel as the years go on, I'm not a fan of getting up early to fight the crowds for a good deal. Call me Lazy....haha Overall it was a great thanksgiving low key relaxed just the way i like it! It's always been one of my Favorite holidays!
(This is also the first year that the day right after thanksgiving we put up lights on the house and are Christmas Tree!)

End of Summer Fun

Well the end of summer has come and gone over here, and Hailey is already in school. But before she went back to school we decided to celebrate the last day of 'summer' by heading to the fair, the last day of the fair! It was a Gorgeous warm day!

First lets just enjoy those chubby little cheeks! it's ok...go ahead and swoon a little!

After getting tickets we hit the rides!

Hailey is all about the rides and she went on a lot!

we also went on one that i haven't been on since i was a kid, maybe my sisters remember the eggbeater ride? haha

We had fun on that one!

I love the swings!

She went through the fun house, but got lost in the 'mirror' section so daddy had to go in and rescue her ;)

She also went on the merry go round, a big roller-coaster which she loved! (to daddy's relief) and then she really wanted to go on the Ferris wheel, in the past when she's wanted to go on the big wheel whenever we'd get right up to it she'd change her mind! This time she braved it out with Dad and even though she was a little scared she still came off all smiles!

After riding to her/our hearts content we stopped to get some funnel cake, I'm not going to lie, after having funnel cake at Disneyland this one was pretty disappointing! But that's how it goes at the fair,

After snacking we walked around and checked out the animals and this dog show, which she could of watched for a long time!

And of course what's a fair if you don't check out the exhibits and of course the vendors!

Before we knew it, it the fair was closing and it was time to go home. And get this one to bed! It sure was a fun way to say goodbye summer

This summer she played alot of soccer!

This summer i sewed her a couple dresses, i'm no expert but she loves to be able to pick out the fabric and have me make something pretty for her.

She's a pro at those monkey bars!

This summer we went to that museum i'm always talking about - we went again and again and again!
It's always fun to see there 'traveling' exhibit which right now they have one called 'grossology' it's pretty awesome ;)

This summer we noticed a big food truck festival, ond day while we were down in Seattle so we thought we'd stop by and check it out. It did not disappoint! It was delicious.

They also had some very talented vendors! The lady that did these kids clothes.....WOW! Such talent!

First Day Of School

Can't believe i have a 1st Grader! What?!?! She was so excited for the first day of school, she was up and dressed bright and early. This year she is taking the bus to and from school. It is weird having her be gone from 8:30am-3:30pm Of course i miss her and worry about her and wonder how she's doing during the day. But so far she's come home everyday with a smile on her face! She is loving first grade and has a pretty great teacher too!

Visit From Grandma & Grandpa

The first week of September my parents came to visit us here in Washington! They have never been here so it was exciting to have them come! Hailey was the most excited! The first thing Hailey wanted to do when they came was play the Wii both Grandma and Grandpa happily agreed :)

They played Tennis, baseball, bowling, golf and boxing!

Next Hailey wanted to play with her princess dolls and pets.

The next day we took them to the Science Museum down in Seattle.

See that sky? as you can tell we got some rain while we were there!

I didn't get a lot of pictures of us at the science museum, we just wandered around and did all the fun stuff they have there! We also went to a little show in the planetarium as well. But most of all Hailey wanted to go to the Butterfly house, (we didn't make it to that part of the museum when we went as a family last month) it's one of my favorites as well!

After a morning in Seattle at the museum we came home for lunch and then headed out to the Mall. They have a big American Girl store there so we walked around. Hailey isn't much into dolls (she prefers dogs and bunnies) but she still had fun looking around the store, it's amazing all the little details and accessories american girl has these days!

When we got home we had Tacos for dinner, thank you Dad!

We went out for frozen yogurt after dinner...

And then there was a little bit of time to play with the princess castle.

Then Hailey got ready for bed, Grandma read her stories and she read stories to Grandma!

The next day we went back down to Seattle to take my parents to Pike's Place Market, another one of my favorites!! We even got to see them throw the fish! (at the fist part of the market,which is right behind that yellow truck in the picture below)

I love Pikes Place, there is just a TON of fresh produce + samples and Tons of little shops and just overall a lot to look at. We also stopped by Rocky mountain chocolate while we were there to get some sweet treats :) We also found this cool shop that was all Maps and Globes it was awesome!

After wandering around Pike's for a very long time, we headed back home but on the way we made a special stop at a nursery my Mom wanted to go to.

While we were there we picked out some things for Hailey to plant in her garden box.

We decided on Lettuce, Kale and some Pansies, all of which should grow well in the cooler months.

She had SO much fun planting with Grandma, and has since been taking very good care of her garden.

After gardening it was late enough, and we had dinner (thanks again Dad for cooking!) We made one last frozen yogurt stop, that place is just too good! And then we called it a night, after that long day! The next day was Friday and we just hung around the house because Grandma and Grandpa left around 9am But not before we got one last picture!

2 Months

Where has the time gone? My baby is 2 months! She has us all wrapped around her little finger! And i can't imagine life without her! She has the most kissable cheeks. She has a smile that melts my heart. She also loves to sit up on your lap or to sit on the couch (under supervision) She is great at nursing. She loves to sleep. She loves to talk, (aka coo) I just lover hearing her little voice! It's so much fun to have little conversations with her. Hailey especially loves it and i know she will miss that once school starts. She loves to watch her mobile. She is one growing girl that's for sure! I never want to forget her little ' Buddah Belly' haha it's so stinkin cute! She also is growing into 3-6 month clothes already! And last but not least....Daddy tried to nickname her twinkie but i put a quick end to that! For now your my babycakes little love bug little lady ok so maybe we haven't found a nickname yet....lol

IF..... You love bananas like we do!
All you need is frozen Bananas (I froze 4 bananas overnight) And 1/4 cup of Almond Milk (Or you could use whatever milk you have.)

Add frozen bananas to blender

Blend - slowly adding milk

And after blending those 2 ingredients together you get this creamy deliciousness!

Add SPRINKLES because come on....who doesn't like sprinkles?!

You could also add chocolate sauce or strawberry sauce or fruit would taste good!

(and if id had any of the above on hand i would of tried them for sure!)

Anyways So many possibilities! This is on our list of treats to make again for sure!

Oh and lets not forget consuming!

Summer......So Far

This summer has been full! Besides having a baby which threw us into a whole new routine, we've been trying to stay as busy as possible! But gosh by golly that smile on her face truly describes how much she LOVES her little sister!

We've done SO much this summer and i don't have pictures for everything but here's a few.......
This Summer It's been MUCH hotter than it was last year, so when it comes to pool time, ummm yes,there's a lot of it!

No complaints here!

This Summer We've had our fill of crafts at home and i know we're not done either!

She got on a really big bracelet making kick!

This Summer She started gymnastics! And let's just say it's been a great way for her to use all that non-stop energy she has.

Well besides bike rides spray parks birthday parties That has been our Summer......So Far!

Baby Blessing

My heart is so full! Today was such a special day. Shawn gave Aubrey such a beautiful blessing. I'm so thankful for the gospel and a worthy husband! So thankful for my family I am beyond blessed to have them!

(At this point she over having pictures taken! she just wanted to sleep poor baby!)

Many thanks to my sister's neighbor who gave me this BEAUTIFUL dress for Aubrey and thanks Allison for sending it just in time! It made this day even more special and will be something I know Aubrey will treasure when she gets older!

What We Do Monday Night

In The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints we set aside a day every week usually Monday for Family Home Evening

A time where we talk and teach gospel topics and study the scriptures.

Even though sometimes it can be hard to do it every Sunday or Monday we still do our best to make it happen!

Hailey especially Loves Family Home Evening - A LOT!

I'm really glad she likes it so much, and i try to make leaning about the gospel fun and interesting for her since her attention span can be - well sometimes small.

We are in no way perfect when it comes to FHE some weeks are better than others

but we try to include

Activity

and a Treat

I have good memories of FHE growing up so i hope to instill some good memories for Hailey as well as gospel learning!

This last Monday we learned/read about the creation, actually Hailey read it to us from her Old Testament book - she has become a very good reader!

She never ceases to amaze me.

After reading about the creation, i found a fun creation craft via pinterest and thought it would be fun to do!

I'm not going to post a tutorial for this because it's pretty self explanatory!

There's some serious crafting going on at this table!

(Another plus was that i already had all the supplies i needed)

It took us 2 days to finish all 7 days of creation crafts but i love how they turned out!

(We may or may not be hanging these up somewhere.)

The day of rest was her favorite to make!

I'm Back!

Ok, it's been awhile since I've blogged, also going to throw out there that this post is probably going to be jumbled! But it's time to jump back into the blogging world. I think I've been a little overwhelmed because there is SO much to blog about i don't know where to start! And there is SO many pictures i don't know what to post! Ha. So for now I'll just start with the biggest news of all. And for those loyal readers out there you already know what that is!
I finally popped. Seriously this pregnancy felt like it FLEW by! The last week was probably the longest but one week is not bad! I am happy to not be pregnant anymore because i just felt like i couldn't function and i missed doing the things i normally would do, ALSO this summer has been especially hot, so i feel for all the pregnant momma's out there!
Sooo back to popping, it happened! And this little angel joined our family the day right after her big sister's birthday!
Say hello to .... Aubrey Claire Born on: June 15th 2015 7:24pm 9lb 1oz 19 and 3/4 inches And we are loving every bit of her!

I'm not wanting to go into every detail of her birth story on this blog, but will give you the nutshell version.
Woke up at 4:00am on June 15th and couldn't get back to sleep so i just layed in bed and watched netflix for about an hour and at 5am seriously it was 5am my water broke so i called the hospital and they told me to come down asap.
When i got there they got me checked in and hooked up and then the waiting game began.

There was a lot of tv

napping

and they even let me eat breakfast!

By 1pm i hadn't progressed much so they started me on pitocin, they gave me literally the smallest amount you can have, but it really kicked my contractions up a notch!

By 2pm i was dilated to a 6 and the contractions were pretty intense so i got an epidural - Oh sweet relief!

Thank heaven for epidurals!

Around 6:50 they had me start pushing - pushed for 30 minutes and sweet baby Aubrey was born!

That first night is always a long night of not much sleep,nursing and just trying to recover!

But we made it!

We also had some Awesome nurses!

The next day Hailey came to see her little sister.

She was SO excited to meet Aubrey, and excited is an understatement for this girl!

Seriously Hailey is the best big sister!

I couldn't ask for a better big sister for Aubrey!

She is so helpful and she just loves her little sister to pieces

(even before she was born)

I can't tell you how fun it is to watch her with baby sis.

She especially LOVES to pick out clothes for little sis from socks to mittens to onesies and once and awhile she'll sneak in a little "dress up" time!

Ahh, these two i know will be best friends someday!

Being home with two, has been an adjustment Aubrey is completely different than Hailey was as a baby!

Honestly can't imagine life without her!

Happy 5 weeks baby girl!

Time For A Party

This year we decided to have a party for Hailey. It actually was her first birthday party because every other year we have either been sick on her birthday or moving. So this party was a long time coming. Hailey really wanted to incorporate puppies into her party. So we did what we could with what we had. The only sad thing was that my camera decided to stop working halfway through the party so i don't have nearly all the pictures i wanted :(

After eating the kids played out back on the play structure, and bubbles were also a big hit!

We had planned to do pin the tail on the puppy but there wasn't enough time, i really like how it turned out though.

After playing outside the kids came in and got to "adopt a puppy"

Kind of hard to see from the picture but they all got to choose a

It was for sure a BIG Hit!

This is where the pictures stop because of my camera being a flake. But after adopting puppies we had cake, Hailey opened presents and we did a pinata! Really wish i had pictures of all that!

Birthday Part 2
These are just a couple from her actual birthday on June 14th It was a Sunday so it was very small celebration because we'd already had a party. For breakfast i made her pancakes We went to church and she was so excited when she got to go up during primary so they could sing happy birthday to her. When we got back from church we made cupcakes tried to stay cool in the heat and later in the even we went outside and played. She was also got to open some presents from mom and dad,aunts and grandma and grandpa.

One year older.

One of her favorites was the Spirograph from grandma and grandpa.

She's made some pretty cool pictures for the walls :)

So much catching up to do! First of all this little lady turned 6 I love this picture because it really represents Hailey. She is so full of energy and is always running around doing something she really likes to stay busy. She is such a great little helper. Always has something to say. Loves to learn. And is always up to try new things. I could go on and on! I love her SO much!
