Today I officially started my home search…apartment search. I may have found the perfect place. Not going to jinx it but send me good ju-ju and thoughts and prayers for the next week. I really need the stars to align. Once I sign on the dotted line with my John Hancock, the details will be posted here immediately.

I found the best realtor in town. His name is Will Bingham and works with Urban Square Realty. If you are looking to move in Austin or move TO Austin, you have to call this guy up. He called me back right of way when looking for a place and carted my happy ass to Starbucks and all over town and was a delight to work with. I just wanted to NOT like every apartment he showed me just so I could hang out with him but that would have been stalkerish huh? LOL J/K but he was a delight to work with. Never pressured me nor did he try to show me places that did not match what I was looking for. With a single phone call he was able to find what I was looking for. In the next week we shall see what the universe has in store for me. So I highly recommend this guy for all your needs. Looking for a home? Call Will. Looking for an apt? Call Will. My friend Brenda’s last day was Friday. I altered my 1st journal for her going away present. Unfortunately, this is the only pic I snagged of it. I took inspiration from the fabulous journal my best friend, Reyanna, gave me for my birthday. I am so happy how it turned out.

I’ve been trying hard to get back into the swing of things. I promise. I’ve been battling with organizing the studio and the studio is winning. LOL

I am about 80% complete in the Studio overhaul and I am excited to get back to crafting. That is my New Year’s Resolution, to get back to what makes me happy.

After I tackle the studio, my next challenge is updating the site. WordPress has released several versions and my Plug-Ins are in dire need of updating too. I apologize in advance for any down time the site may experience as it goes through the updating growing pains.

So I am off to take the rest of the studio project and then off to nerdy girl coding world I go. Wish me luck.

My nephew is growing up so fast. Here is a recent picture of us. I call him Jellybean and he calls me Coco. I’ve never known a love like this. He is our world and brings happiness to our family. We are truly blessed.

About a month ago I went to Joann’s with my mom to shop for lining for curtains we made. We took a number to have it cut and I took a stroll down the scrapbook isle to kill time. I found an Amy Butler scrapbook line and almost screamed with glee when I found a beautiful 8×8 scrapbook on the shelf. Did my eyes deceive me? Could this be so? I knew that my scrapbook stash would soon be growing. I took a look at the $27- price tag and my list of scrapbook projects fluttered away. Needless to say, I left empty handed, went home, and took out my Amy Butler FABRIC STASH instead. As usual, I ended up folding it up and put it away. I still haven’t found the right projects for those yet.

Two weeks ago my sister and I went to Big Lots for God knows what and lo and behold, God does answer prayers. I saw it at a glance but knew in an instant what it was. The very Amy Butler scrapbook from Joann’s sat on the Big Lots shelf under a stack of off brand cardstock. I scooped it up and called for my sister, “Q!!!! DO YOU KNOW WHAT THIS IS?????” I looked for any others sitting on the shelf to verify the price was right but it was the ONLY one. SIX DOLLARS!!!

I am a happy gal.This scrapbook is just for me and all about me & my craft projects. I’d like to have a place to archive my craft happiness.

I started the pages friday at scrapbook club. The pic on the left is the title page. Didn’t realize until I scanned it in that the letters in ‘amy’ are all wonky. The pic on the right is the second page. I need to take and print out the pic of the purse I made at STITCH LAB in my Sewing 1 class. I am so proud of that class and love that the motif of the printed paper matches the print of my purse. I’ve received a lot of compliments on the purse. The 2 I am most proud of are compliments from 2 fabric shop owners.

I am a newbie to scrapbooking. It is kind of theraputic…and addictive. Wish me luck!

I started a scrapbook for my cousin and his new wife. They had the cutest ‘Save The Date’ cards. I was inspired by this card. When I decided to start the book off with this page, I remembered I had this delicious paper. This is one of my 1st layouts. I had to scan in for my book. I cannot wait to see them and show them what I made for them with all my love.
