    I have NL 6873 view C about done. It needs a zipper and a hem, seam finish here and there. I've abandoned that project for a bit because it doesn't sit at my waist like I had envisioned, but instead rather low

I've made up New Look 6873 view B out of a purple and blue print swiss dot cotton from fabric.com, using french seams. The fabric is intended for shirting, but it's so hot here I'm just fine with a thinner skirt. I just cut out view C out of a brocade from fabric.com as well, and hope to finish it by Thursday to wear to the next Scottsdale Sister

I cut the bag out on Tuesday, found the lining fabric on Wednesday, and sewed it up this afternoon. This is my third time making McCall's 5599 view C, I don't care for the shape of the other views, and again I'm really pleased with it. This is my new everyday purse. It's not especially "stylish," but more just cute and silly.

Or maybe just showing things off when they're finished. Or more likely, showing my mistakes and asking for input. I am a high schooler living in Arizona, and my Grandmother in Colorado taught me to sew when I was little. She still gives me tons of ideas and inspiration, and I could only wish to sew the way
