We live in an age of sexual liberation or so they tell us. It seems that anything goes particularly on the sexual front. Now we have a phenomenon called "cougars". Cougars are women in their 40s, 50s and 60s who pursue men in their 20s and 30s for sexual purposes. Remember that feline cougars are predators. One wonders if the human cougars are of the same mind. However, as a proponent of sexual freedom, I believe that an older women has the right to pursue younger men, because older men have been pursuing younger women for a long time and society said , "So what" for the most part. Personally I prefer older women.

A man goes into a drugstore and purchases a box of condoms from the pharmacist. As he leaves he bursts out laughing. This goes on for 3 strait days. Finally the pharmacist can take it no more and instructs his assistant to follow the man and see what is going on. His assistant follows the customer and returns to the drug store. Obama and McCain : My Personal Opinion

If you watch the evening news on television, you will see it full of Barack Obama and John McCain. Obama seems to be the darling of the three mainstream networks and is being spoken of in Kennedyesque terms by supporters and not a few media reporters. McCain on the other hand is a decorated war veteran and the nation's most famous POW and those to the Right generally back him. He also generally follows the (Bush) party line. Neither of them, in all honesty, gives me a great deal of confidence in the future leadership of our country. I wish that there was a better candidate out there. Much is made of Obama being young and African-American and McCain's military record, but, of themselves, those things do not make either candidate acceptable to me. Obama is no John F. Kennedy and McCain is no Moses !

There are many synonyms for a women's breasts, but I admit that one used by the great English wordsmith William Shakespeare was unknown to me . Shakespeare once called female breasts " chalky cliffs". I wonder what moved him to use such an appelation. Does anyone out there know the reason - perhaps an English teacher ?

High oil prices are damaging our economy...GWB says that we are in good shape economically...T. Boone Pickens says that more of our money is leaving our country than ever in history - a transfer of wealth as he labels it ...Warren Buffett, the Oracle of Omaha, says that we are in a recession...GWB says that plans are in place to prop up lending institutions like Fannie Mae et al...Oil prices are affecting prices at the grocery store and everywhere else in our economy...We have wars in Iraq and Afghanistan that could go on indefinitely which suck the marrow out of our economy and we have a Congress that seems to do little to alleviate the situation due to political bickering...Then we have John McCain and Barack Obama as the likely presidential candidates-neither one of whom really inspires me...Public education is a shambles...Jobs are leaving our countyr in record numbers...We need alternative fuels to reduce our dependence on foreign oil...Does anyone out there think that we may be in trouble here ? Or is it just me ?
