Abortions-Some Thoughts

The subject of abortion is frought with danger. Even talking about abortion can be like walking through a minefield blind folded. As a man, I will never have to consider aborting a fetus that is inside of me. I do believe that in the case of the mother's life being in imminent danger abortion should be available to save her life. Beyond that I confess to having some reservations. Should abortion be federally subsidized ? That is a sticky question. I find the issue of whether a fetus is a human or not disturbing. Does it make an abortion more palatable if the fetus is not yet human ? This much I do know -a human fetus does develope into a human being so that pretty much says to me that that fetus is a homo sapien early in its developement. And how many times have women said, " I'm pregnant so I'll go get an abortion ". Not a few were urged on by the ones who got them pregnant. Of that I feel sure. I doubt that even Solomon, in all of his wisdom, could negotiate the minefield of abortion without sustaining some type of injury for this is an injury that injures the body as well as the soul. Finally, I ask myself this question, " What is more precious than a human life? "

We all have our definition of what makes someone sexy. I know it when I see it. To me a beautiful woman is not always a sexy one, but a sexy woman has something that makes me focus on her. Here are three sexy ladies from my perspective.

(1) Pamela Anderson - Some people say no way, but she rings my chimes. I am glad she divorced that cad Tommy Lee.

(2) Helen Mirren - A first rate actress and the thought of her seduces me.

(3) Emma Thompson - Another first rate actress who oozes sexuality. How could Kenneth Branagh have divorced her ?

More Skankyness in High Places

I read an interesting post over at Donkiephant today. It seems that earlier this year Senator Max Baucus (Dem.-Montana) nominated his then mistress Melodee Hanes for the position of U.S. Attorney for the state of Montana. Later she withdrew her name from consideration. Now they are (happily I assume) divorced and together still. Is it me or is something wrong here ? Sure it's "only" adultery, but Lord help me is nothing sacred or has the last vestige of morality disappeared from the earth ? I am far from a prude but come on. This man is in a powerful position !
