Good for you. Frankly, I've never been a fan of Myspace and Facebook etc, somewhat for the reasons you've cited.

Also, I find it more satisfying to build my own "web presence" as opposed to some cookie cutter fill in the blanks crap like Facebook.

I try to read about other people in law school with kids just trying to get a perspective. I have 3. My youngest was born while I was in school ( I STILL AM , 3 L). I got a few bad grades but you know what I think I will bounce back.
Thanks for the blog

This is good!

...and considering that I often have the entire Monkees catalog running simultaneously through my head, I wonder how many parallel universes I stumble my way through every day.

Yes, this is my favorite Shadowbot post ever.

Ever out of the loop, I didn't realize you were leaving until seeing your Facebook status last week. It's really sad how the atmosphere at work has..um, 'soured'. Good people just keep leaving. Maybe someday the right people will take notice. Anyway...may brighter days await you. Best of luck to you and your family! :)

I don't have an iPod (am I the only one left?), so I passed on the Music Label figures. But I've been picking up all of the Transformers Animated figures lately. I got Aiden the bumper battlers Optimus Prime, and he loves it. He may not remember that he met David Kaye at Botcon though...

I got Lugnut today. I was hoping for Megatron. Starscream looks good in bot mode, too.

I don't know man...consider:

Original Series isn't coming back till 2010

Tennant is confirmed to star in Doctor Who stuff UNTIL 2010...

There are gonna be Doctor Who specials between the finale of this season and the beginning of the fifth HOWEVER....those could occur in a time BEFORE the season 4 finale.

It's possible.

Andrew: The hand in the jar is the Doctor's hand that got cut off by the Sycorax leader in the Christmas Invasion. Captain Jack Harkness found the hand and put it in a case, as sort of a detector for when the Doctor showed up. Eventually Harkness found the Doctor and the Doctor took back the hand and has just been keeping it in the TARDIS.

Christmas Invasion, Doctor's hand got cut off in a sword fight high above the city (he was still "pliable" post regeneration and grew it back). The hand fell to earth, where Captain Jack snatched it up as a rather gruesome "Doctor Detector" (seen in S3 finale 3-parter).
