Obey All of God's Word


Cast Out of Eden

Man's disobedience to God has been an issue from early Creation. Most people will be forced to agree with this. Remember Adam and Eve in the Garden of Eden. If Adam and Eve had obeyed God, and "not" the Serpent, we would all be still roaming around in the Garden, enjoying ourselves, and giving birth to obedient children, without pain.Instead most of us are shaking in our boots, and wondering if we are really going to spend eternity in heaven.

Just as Adam and Eve had a problem obeying God in their day, we as servants of God, still struggle with the issue of obedience. I know, because I struggle with the same problem.

Our subject was captured from a well known text in the Book of 1 Samuel 15:22

22. And Samuel said, Hath the LORD as great delight in burnt offerings and sacrifices, as in obeying the voice of the LORD? Behold, to obey is better than sacrifice, and to hearken than the fat of rams.

The Lord spoke these words to Samuel, for our learning. Many times we human beings, even Christian people, get the idea that if we sacrifice things to God such as:

1) our money,
2) our time,
3) attending church,
4) praying,
5) evening fasting,

that it makes up for the fact that we are disobedient to God. But these words spoken to Samuel in 1 Samuel 15:22, dispels this idea. There is absolutely no substitute for obedience to the Lord.

From the Book of Jeremiah 35: 1-19, there is, what I describe as, a wonderful story, about the sons of Jonadab the son of Rechab, who are called the Rechabites. This story grabbed my heart the first time I remember reading it, and it has continued to touch my heart. What touched my heart about it was the fact that while the Rechabites obeyed their father, we disobey God Almighty, without even blinking.

Jeremiah 35: 1 -19

1. The word which came unto Jeremiah from the LORD in the days of Jehoiakim the son of Josiah king of Judah, saying,

2. Go unto the house of the Rechabites, and speak unto them, and bring them into the house of the LORD, into one of the chambers, and give them wine to drink.

3. Then I took Jaazaniah the son of Jeremiah, the son of Habaziniah, and his brethren, and all his sons, and the whole house of the Rechabites;

4. And I brought them into the house of the LORD, into the chamber of the sons of Hanan, the son of Igdaliah, a man of God, which was by the chamber of the princes, which was above the chamber of Maaseiah the son of Shallum, the keeper of the door:

5. And I set before the sons of the house of the Rechabites pots full of wine, and cups, and I said unto them, Drink ye wine.

6. But they said, We will drink no wine: for Jonadab the son of Rechab our father commanded us, saying, Ye shall drink no wine, neither ye, nor your sons for ever:

7. Neither shall ye build house, nor sow seed, nor plant vineyard, nor have any: but all your days ye shall dwell in tents; that ye may live many days in the land where ye be strangers.

8. Thus have we obeyed the voice of Jonadab the son of Rechab our father in all that he hath charged us, to drink no wine all our days, we, our wives, our sons, nor our daughters;

9. Nor to build houses for us to dwell in: neither have we vineyard, nor field, nor seed:

10. But we have dwelt in tents, and have obeyed, and done according to all that Jonadab our father commanded us.

11. But it came to pass, when Nebuchadrezzar king of Babylon came up into the land, that we said, Come, and let us go to Jerusalem for fear of the army of the Chaldeans, and for fear of the army of the Syrians: so we dwell at Jerusalem.

12. Then came the word of the LORD unto Jeremiah, saying,

13. Thus saith the LORD of hosts, the God of Israel; Go and tell the men of Judah and the inhabitants of Jerusalem, Will ye not receive instruction to hearken to my words? saith the LORD.

14. The words of Jonadab the son of Rechab, that he commanded his sons not to drink wine, are performed; for unto this day they drink none, but obey their father's commandment: notwithstanding I have spoken unto you, rising early and speaking; but ye hearkened not unto me.

15. I have sent also unto you all my servants the prophets, rising up early and sending them, saying, Return ye now every man from his evil way, and amend your doings, and go not after other gods to serve them, and ye shall dwell in the land which I have given to you and to your fathers: but ye have not inclined your ear, nor hearkened unto me.

16. Because the sons of Jonadab the son of Rechab have performed the commandment of their father, which he commanded them; but this people hath not hearkened unto me:

17. Therefore thus saith the LORD God of hosts, the God of Israel; Behold, I will bring upon Judah and upon all the inhabitants of Jerusalem all the evil that I have pronounced against them: because I have spoken unto them, but they have not heard; and I have called unto them, but they have not answered.

18. And Jeremiah said unto the house of the Rechabites, Thus saith the LORD of hosts, the God of Israel; Because ye have obeyed the commandment of Jonadab your father, and kept all his precepts, and done according unto all that he hath commanded you:

19. Therefore thus saith the LORD of hosts, the God of Israel; Jonadab the son of Rechab shall not want a man to stand before me for ever.

This is how this story unfolded. The sons or grandsons of Rachad were invited to the House of the Lord. Picture this, all the wine (the drug of choice of that day), one could possibly imagine. There were not mere bottles of wine, but pots full of wine. Enough wine for everyone of these young men to have their fill.

I am sure these men had no idea why they were being invited to go to the House of the Lord. They were probably excited about what was getting ready to happen to them. Wow! The Man of God has invited us! Whoopee! None other than Jeremiah the prophet! Perhaps they thought about the Psalm which said: "I was glad when they said unto me, let us go into the house of Lord!" Jeremiah shall no doubt give us a great prophecy! Yes!!!

But, as it turns out, it was not a prophecy at all. It was not even to worship God. But it was for the purpose of teaching us a great lesson in obedience. Not only obedience to God, but even to our parents as well. The Scripture said: ".....and I said unto them, Drink ye wine."

The commandment their fathers had passed down to them, was not just one thing which they had been commanded to do, it was many things and it was perpetual. They were not to drink wine, them or their family after them. They were not to build houses, nor sow seed, nor plant vineyards, nor have any (vineyards), but all their days they were to dwell in tents.

Even ONE of these commandments, if passed down to us, from our grandparents, or even from God Almighty, would have been difficult for most of us to follow. But this family had a list of things they were expected to obey, and they obeyed them all the days of their lives, and because of their obedience, God blessed them.

Why did the Lord use these young men as examples to Israel, and to us? Because these men honored their parents' words, more than Israel honored God! As I read this story, it seems that I can feel the heart of God weeping. The Lord has so loned to have a relationship with us, but He has not been able to prefect that relationship because of our disobedience.

The Lord told Jeremiah to tell the Rechabites men, that because they had obeyed their father's words: "....Jonadab the son of Rechab shall not want a man to stand before me for ever." This is the blessing the Lord gave to these men for their complete obedience to their father. What would He do for us, if we obeyed Him completely. My goal in life, is to obey God completely.

Testimony: There is a great longing in my heart to be close to God, like I use to be, and even more so. In pursuit of this goal, I asked the Lord in prayer one day: "What can I can to gain the relationship with you that I desire." Prior to the items I am about to share with you, the Lord had already asked me to do something which took me years to adjust to: the Lord called me off my secular job. The following are three things the Lord asked me to do in later years: "a) Read the Bible from front to back, b) Fast three days a week, I could choose the days, and c) stop watching television." "Stop watching television?!!" As I set out on this mission, the fight was on, I thought of every excuse in the book, as to why I needed to watch television. And I wasn't the only one upset about this request. Others reasoned that I truly needed to watch T.V. in order to know what was going on in the world, etc., etc. I reasoned that I needed to at least watch Christian Television, and on, and on the battle ragged. Almost two years later, the Lord spoke to me again: "You have done two of the things I asked you to do, but you have failed to stop watching television." And then again, the Lord said: "You are still continuing to accept jobs which I have told you "not" to do!" After many years of struggling, thank God, I have finally come to terms concerning these two issues.

Conclusion: In the Word of God, Jesus knew why He came to this earth. He knew exactly what He had to suffer, and what would happen to mankind, if, He did not accomplish His goal. Suppose Jesus had decided to disobey God the Father, and NOT to drink of the cup of death in the Garden of Gethsemane. We would have been eternally lost. The next time we are tempted to disobey God, let us keep this in mind: To obey is better than sacrifice. God bless you.

Can't Prove Racism: The Case of McDonald's

Real Live Advertisement for McDonald's

It's very hard to prove racism these days, in hiring. But at 50% unemployment in some communities of Blacks, especially men, the numbers should speak for themselves. I would like to present to you, now and again, evidence of racism, without having to prove that someone came out and said "we don't hire "n" here".

Is McDonald's Racist

So the facts are these:

A young Black man walks into a McDonald's that posted a "job fair" for that day. They had announced previously and had signs posted.
When he arrived he was promptly informed that there was only one position available and his chances were very slim.
when his pen gave out while filling out the application he asked to borrow the store recruiter's pen, of which she had two sitting in her pocket. He was informed that she needed her pens. When he asked which one, she informed him both.
a homeless white woman was filling out an application as well, and he asked to use the pen after she finished. The homeless woman resisted saying it belonged to the recruiter. He lied and said he was told to use it.
when he presented the application to the corporate recruiter, she asked what experience he had. Luckily he informed her that he had held jobs at Coldstone's, Cookie Cafe.
she asked for a resume. When he replied that he did not have one, she went off into a speech about always having a resume, no matter where he is applying. The position he was applying for was for entry level associate [ i.e. burger flipper ]
when he then returned the pen to the store recruiter he asked for a business card with the store's number on it, to get updates on his resume. A third recruiter came from behind the counter to inform him that he did not need the store's phone number and that he would be called if he qualified for the job.

Now I ask you. Is this racism? I reminds me of when Black folks were given the legal right to vote and the south erected all manner of Jim Crow laws to prohibit voting. Some places required: reading comprehension; reciting the constitution by heart; penmanship tests, etc... So this young Black man goes into the beginnings of beginnings of the job market and is handedly rejected at every turn. He was berated and insulted for even daring to step into McDonald's. He was constantly challenged to keep him from even submitting the application. And, even when it was obvious that he qualified for the job, they ask for a resume.

Let's call a spade a spade. This particular scenario was nothing more than sheer racism. Resume for entry level McDonald's position? They hire 16 year olds for the position. Forget all that liberal: you should be prepared for anything. IT'S MCDONALD'S!!!

If someone came before me with these facts and I was a judge, I would be quite content to rule against McDonald's. It is unconscionable.

Let's stop for a second and consider. What if he had a resume? What if everyone at the job fair had a resume? My question is, why are they at McDonald's applying for a starter job, with a resume? You don't show up to a pool party in a tailed tuxedo.

I know some people are going to be hard-headed and say McDonald's was in the right. To them, I just say you're probably racist yourself. If you cannot see that entire scenario as racist, then you're either 9 years old and incapable of understanding such concepts, or you have no mental capacity or are just not a human.

Movie Review: "Legion" is God Awful

Legion the Movie Review

Seriously, I don't want to review this movie, it was just that bad. Ok, out on DVD is legion. For us Christians, and I guess Jews [I'm not sure], this movie about angels and God would be interesting. Yes, there's a guy with wings in it, and yes they mention "Him" about 50 times, in one sentence. I counted. But, it has nothing to do with Christian, nor Jewish, angels and nothing about God. I mean, the Bible has to be the most widely read book in the history of man. It is still a top seller. So, why was nothing in this movie based on the Bible?

Don't get me wrong. I love an original screenplay as much as the next guy, but this was just... bad AND blasphemous? Who goes out on a limb to piss half the world off, on a budget of ... what $100 million? LOL

I can see the meetings now, "I know what if the angels had guns".."and long coats".

Let's get to the review.

Legion Review

Legion's uh... "story" is that God is pissed at mankind, YET again. Ok we find this out in a narrative [I kid you not, they had to narrate this part, for us to figure out the main plot] But, instead of flooding the world [which would have been way out of budget, and it was done before where Morgan Freeman played the president] God instead sends... uh... angels that act like demons and possess people? I am TOTALLY serious. Yes, so instead of sending a flood, he sends his army of angels. Only, the angels don't act very angelic. They, for whatever reason, possess human, like demons, and run around acting weird.

So let's just stop using the word "angel". Noone in the movie has wings except 1 guy. Ok, there's another guy, but he cuts his off right at the beginning. For whatever reason there are only 2 angels in this story about an angelic invading army. [oh hell, we all know the reason. They couldn't afford to actually pay actors, so they just paid 200 extras to ... GET SHOT? Oh yeah. The "angels" seem to die from gunshot.

So the non-holy-spirit wielding angels, who are for whatever reason, are susceptible to gunshot, and die? Wait, what? The angels die? Oh and I forgot, angels apparently have tattoos, all over their body for some reason.

The main angel, who is the good guy, is Michael the archangel [Paul Bettany, who apparently was strapped for cash]. The bad guy, is Gabriel the archangel [Kevin Durand, show me the money for my 3 scenes]. Wait, Michael is disobeying God and Gabriel is obeying God. So who is the bad guy? We are led to believe that Michael is the good guy. [message? disobeying God is good] And, why would Michael, the archangel, disobey God? "Because he doesn't know what he wants."

oh really?

There were Black people in the movie too: Percy Walker [ played by mister Charles Dutton] and Kyle Williams (apperently intended to be a Jewish guy) [ played by mister Tyrese Gibson]

Plot holes: they had major plot hole issues. In fact, you didn't know what was going on, one scene to the next. They would introduce plots, skip scenes, return to the subplot, just to leave you more confused.

Character Development: there was none. They killed everyone in the movie, except Charlie the main plot character [ played by Adrianne Palicki]. Everyone was stereotypical. So, who cares about character development. There was a:

thug Black guy: Tyrese
praying Black guy: Charles Dutton
rich white guy: who gets killed 20 minutes into the movie
a slutty teenager
a nagging wife
a slutty, no husband having, hooker that's pregnat: surprise, the main character
a cheap greasy spoon shop owner that yes at the waitress when there is 1 order ready
the I'm so cool, I shoulda been a shiny twilight vampire, but I'm too old, angel: who wield dual AK47s

Cinematography: none to speak of. 99% of the movie is shot inside the diner. Also, 50% of the film is shot in the dark. I hate that, to no end. So they have action sequences. But, because they can't afford a stun coordinator nor a fight choreographer, they just shoot it in the dark.

Soundtrack: lol yeah right.

Entertainment value: if you have a brain don't go see this movie. There are far superior movies with angels in them, with original scripts [hello Angels and Demons]

Or, are you woman enough to decline invitations, based on your own attraction or non-attraction for a man. Because, let me tell you what's going on. There are people who are trying their best to steer you into a relationship that you really don't need.

Let me touch on #4 again briefly with my own experience.

So my best friend in college, got a girlfriend. One night he says he would like for me to meet a girl. So all 4 of us piled in his car and went to his apartment off-campus. They put the girl and I in his bedroom and he and his girl stayed in the living room. For whatever reason they turned off all the lights in the house except the hall. Ok! So, I being a gentleman, was talking to the girl to get to know her. Well I never had an opportunity. Every 10 minutes the girlfriend would walk into the room and check up on us. YES SHE WOULD COME IN AND CHECKUP ON US. And, when she left, she would leave the door ajar. After everything was over, I asked what was the purpose of the night. She said she was protecting her friend. [the friend moved far faster than it did. she had me on the floor stroking me chest in 5 minutes. but hey what was i to do] Come to find out, while she was cock blockin me, one of the times she didn't come in, she and my friend had full on sex in the living room. I never saw the girl again, nor did I ever go on a blind date with my friend and his catty girl friend from hell. [she was the worst person I've ever layed eyes on.]

How many women wake up 30 yrs old and start freaking out that they don't have a man.

Let's take a walk with the ghost of christmas past eh? Let's go back and see. Yup, she rejected 34,000 men, who potentially wanted to date her. You see ladies, the powers that be, have turned men into such pussies that they accept rejection right away. Even when you didn't even know you were rejecting them.

For instance:

a man walks up and asks you which way is F street. You're new to the area, so you really don't know. He's trying to strike up a conversation with you. You don't catch on, because you're clueless. So, you say you don't know where F street is and keep stepping. He just struck out and keeps moving too.

You don't realize you just rejected him.
"Well if he were man enough, he coulda just come out and flirt with me." Oh I hear that all the time. Really? He can just come out and flirt with you? You know how women feel pressure from magazines to be thin? You've seen that story on t.v. and the news. Well men are now being pressured to NOT hit on women. Men are being subtly told that it is not OK to let a woman know you are attracted to them.

Pickup line: it's a modern thing to invent a pickup line. Think for a second. It wasn't too long ago that men and women were just put together and expected to be together. All of a sudden, all sorts of roles reversed and men had to come up with pickup lines to get women. Thirty years ago, your friend would say "I know a guy that's perfect for you." And, away you and Billy would go, and the rest is history. Guys would do the same, "I know a girl you'd like." There was no game playing. There was no dress up. It was, "here I am, do you like me or not."

Anyone that lives in a world where they believe men don't like women and women don't like men, needs to turn in their human race card and exit the planet. That's like those companies that send the guy to "sensitivity training" for daring to hit on the receptionist. Let me clue you in right now. The company doesn't car about the man and it definitely doesn't care about the receptionist. They wish they could hire robots to make them money.

So if you're out and your friends try to cock block, remind them you're a woman, and at some point in life, you're gonna need ~~dick~~ a man. If they don't like it, get new friends.

Oh, if you're one of these women that say "men are nothing but dogs, I don't need no man." The depth of the help you need mentally, is beyond the scope of this article.

[ I present this for posterity. This is one of my favorite movies and the soundtrack is just Godly to me. Here is a very sad and soulful rendition of Ave Maria done by the Guarani Indians of South America, who were conquered by the conquistadors and were savagely raped, beaten and burned. All the while the church stood by and gave their consent to all of this. Yes, including the pope and the Jesuits. Don't misunderstand, I blame not the church, but I do blame the men. Not every Catholic is evil, nor is every Jesuit. But, surely every conquistador was evil. What do you call rape, pillage and plunder for self greed and throwing the church and the crown some morsels so they [the pope and crown] don't slaughter you [the conquistador] themselves for being insolent. It was greed, mixed in with politics.]

School Takes in Juvenile Delinquents and Does Nothing: Shocking Success

Could You Be Feeding Your Child a Ticket to Jail

Here's the setup. Problem children who have had a history of acting up and being kicked out of several schools are taken to a special high-school. There are no meetings. There are no group sessions. There is no counseling for the children. So how is it that the school has no security guards nor any problem out of the children?

Diet and Your Child

What the school did do was completely change the student's diets. All students eat fresh vegetables from local farms. They eat fresh fruits and fresh meats all locally grown. They cannot eat any candy, nor chocolate, nor chips, nor soda. The result is astonishing.

They interviewed several of the children and they were all very well mannered and behaved. They asked if they wished to cause trouble and they said, "I feel no need nor see a reason to act up. I love it here." The headmaster was very proud of the school and knew that real food was the key to 100% of the problems. None of the kids were late for class. All of their grades improved. They paid attention in class and turned in all of their homework.

For their part, the administrators did not impose any draconian regulations on the students, as is done in regular public school. There was no dress code. The children were not forbidden to do much of anything. There really wasn't a need to. The children just did what they were supposed to do. Everyone dressed modestly and were even respectful of each other.

Police Murder a Man's Dogs, Break Down His Front Door and Terrorize his Wife and Children

3, 2, 1 "SEARCH WARRANT!" BAAM!

"This video shows a search warrant served by the Columbia Mo. police department. The cops bust in this guys house in the middle of the night and shoot his two dogs (one a pit bull that was caged in the kitchen and the other a Corgi) with children in the home. It turns out that rather than a big time drug dealer, this guy had a small pipe with some resin in it, a grinder, and what the cops here call "a small amount of marijuana" (meaning less than a few grams). We here in Columbia want everyone to know what kind of police department we have here, check out our "finest" in action." - Psychostyle

That's right folks, after all that, the police found virtually nothing in the man's house. In the realm of search warrants and busting down doors, a personal pipe is absolutely nothing. This family was terrorized by these thugs. And, who do you go to, for justice against the police department. As you can see in the video, these weren't rogue cops out on a joy ride, there were at least 6 officers in view, and the recording is being down by an officer and we cannot see who's behind him helping, nor who stayed outside as backup. This goes on in America every day and every night.

Police are out of control and need to be stopped. Get these murderous thugs out of uniform. Don't turn a blind eye, because once they are done with Blacks, Mexicans and others, they'll come for you.

Unfunny, Unattractive and Obvious, and Those are Kathy Griffin's Good Qualities

So a new neighbor moved into the complex, white guy, single and of course homosexual. [ just sayin facts ] He's loud, boisterous and broke. I lent him a power chord the fist day I met. Hey, I'm a nice guy. Wanna fight about it? So invariably, this loud, boisterous, chubby, gay guy likes to talk about rather serious subjects. And, he asks me my opinions. Now I've been knowing this guy for all of 5 days. Invariably he gets upset at my answers.

Oh, wait, I bet you think I'm saying I'm anti-gay or homophobic or something crazy like that. No, no and no! I give him my opinion on what adults should really be looking at, and how they should see things.

For instance, he has the Avatar DVD. He is into all this "metaphysical" stuff, which he likes to talk about constantly, and knows nothing about. [but I never said anything to him about that, so don't think I'm rude] So he goes on about the world tree and how Avatar was a movie about metaphysical things. He then turns to me and asks me what I thought about Avatar the movie. You know me. I turned to him and said "I'll tell you what it's about in 2 sentences, but are you prepared to listen?" "SURE!" he says. So I say, "Avatar is a military propaganda movie that makes little wet teenage boys go sign up for the Army and get murdered in Iraq and Afghanistan, murdering mothers and children in the street, with or without orders from superior officers." Somehow he didn't like that answer. He goes off on "didn't you see the world tree?" To which I reply, "dude you're 30 years old, you don't know that when you see a movie there's the obvious things that are shown in front of your face, but equally obvious is the message tucked just under the cover. It's why little girls go see my little pony over and over. It's why wet behind the ears young men go see Hurt Locker. Neither group has to think very much to get what the movie is really about, making them feel safe, but putting pictures in front of their faces that teaches them that killing is ok and a girl's place is stomp on men's testicles. Hello UNDERWORLD the movie."

So he changed the subject.

Next he goes into his Kathy Griffin, Giffith, Gifford.. whatever her no-talent name is, impersonation. He does the voice of everyone in the show. I don't watch T.V. so I have to guess at who is who, doing what to whom. Then he says, "Kathy Griffin is for gay marriage." And, I say, of course, "OH REALLY?" "Yes," he says. "She is parked right in Washington until they approve gay marriage." I sigh and say, "Kathy Griffin is not gay. She is not for gay marriage. She is just a wannabe that is doing something to get her name out there." He goes into a tirade about how she is fighting for "our" [his] rights to get married. I say, "she is no more for gay rights than that Matt Damon character who is playing Mr. Smith on your movie right now. She's an actress and could care less if you get married or not. She's pandering to gay people, because they pay the duckets to come see her show, and watch her religiously on Bravo."

At that, he asked me to leave his house.

I walked home thinking, is this why congress and the senators are just running roughshod all over us? We're a country full of babies who can't handle the truth, even when that truth is as plain as the nose on our face?

I don't personally know Kathy Griffin, admittedly. But, I'd be willing to bet my jockey shorts that she is exactly as I described above. She is in it for the money. Let's say her fan base is 55% gay. What else is she going to do, but come out for gay marriage?

Let's look back at another starlette. Donna Summer, the disco queen, HATED gay people, or so I've heard. It wasn't until a manager crunched the numbers and showed her how much they bought her records FOR YEARS, that she all of a sudden changed her mind and said she loved them. Awww, happy ending, awwww. I mean really. Grown men, gay or not, fell for that?

So back to my grown, 31 year old [today was his b-day] neighbor. So I told him what I consider the truth. Now, you know I told him to research it. He wouldn't have anything to do with it. He doesn't even want to know if she's lying or telling the truth.

He goes on and on raving about how wonderful she is, and that she parades her alcoholic drunk mother on national t.v. I say, "is that how she wants to achieve fame? By shaming her mother on national T.V.? By making her family name dirt? How horrible is that?" I don't get it. Who claps while their 92 year old drunk mom pukes on the floor while cameras are rolling?

And, this 32 year old thinks this is the height of comedy and coolness. Have I walked off into the land of stupid? Is this country really that depraved? REALLY?

It's no wonder he got mad and kicked me out of his apartment. He thinks drunk 90 yr old women are cool.

Now watch, when I go over there and yank MY power chord out of his computer he's gonna be a sad panda. And, I'll think nothing of it. I'll plop it right in the box where I had it and keep on typing.

Bad Reviews for Cataclysm

Tons of reviews by professionals and fans alike have been pouring into the web. I have yet to see one that is positive. Couple that with fan comments on the reviews and you have a staggering situation where Blizzard / Activision might lose money on the expansion. What is shocking is that Blizzard is proud of their changes and see no reason to reconsider them.

Below is some of what a blue posted on the WOW forums.

Single Character Lockout [good only for casual gamers]

The first of the refinements being made is that we're combining all raid sizes and difficulties into a single lockout. Unlike today, 10- and 25-player modes of a single raid will share the same lockout. You can defeat each raid boss once per week per character. In other words, if you wanted to do both a 10- and 25-person raid in a single week, you’d need to do so on two different characters. Normal versus Heroic mode will be chosen on a per-boss basis in Cataclysm raids, the same way it works in Icecrown Citadel. Obviously the raid lockout change doesn't apply in pure Icecrown terms though, as this change goes hand-in-hand with a few other changes to raid progression in Cataclysm.

10 and 25 mans are the same

We're designing and balancing raids so that the difficulty between 10- and 25-player versions of each difficulty will be as close as possible to each other as we can achieve. That closeness in difficulty also means that we'll have bosses dropping the same items in 10- and 25-player raids of each difficulty. They'll have the same name and same stats; they are in fact the exact same items.

Heroic 10 and 25 mans are the same

Choosing Heroic mode will drop a scaled-up version of those items. Our hope is that players will be able to associate bosses with their loot tables and even associate specific artwork with specific item names to a far greater extent than today.

Dungeon Difficulty and Rewards

10- and 25-player (normal difficulty) -- Very similar to one another in difficulty; drop the exact same items as each other.
10- and 25-player (Heroic difficulty) -- Very similar to one another in difficulty; drop more powerful versions of the normal-difficulty items.

What does all of this mean?

Casual gamers are sought after. Even to the destruction of the entire original idea of the game. So the casual gamer can log in once a week, and be in exact same spot that someone that plays 80hours in a week. They will have the same equipment. They will have the same amount of emblems. They will have everything you have and only have to log in once a week.

I could go on and on about how the casual gamer is now the focal point of the business model, but why bother.

Will People Not Buy the Expansion

After seeing all of the massive outcry and bad reviews, it is a very safe bet to say that their expansion sales expectations are going to be shattered. Yes! I do not think the core gamers will buy the expansion. People are already eyeing Star Wars Old Republic Online. I'm not! Looks awful to me.

A lot of the wow-fanboys are going crazy trying to hush up the bad reviews. They're calling them names and saying they are whiners. But, take a step back. Professional reviewers are giving it the thumbs down? Are they whining too? Open your eyes. The expansion is horrible. Granted the company has the right to change their mind about the lore of the story, as if WOW is based on a story at all. Maybe the RPers just don't rate high in Blizzard's book. They have literally emasculated the lore. Fanboy answer?: it's their story they can do whatever they want. How about a little consistency, at least.

Many fans originally played WOW because of the very nice story that Warcraft involved. It was detailed and very 3 dimensional. You felt for the characters in the story. It shocked, amazed and saddened you. It was better than a movie.

So, I'm expecting a bad show for the new expansion. Don't hate me for saying that. I just have a very strong feeling everyone is going to be shocked.

Maybe Blizzard Doesn't Care

It might be that Blizzard is concentrating on other projects, which are now WOW related [GASP] and hence don't really care about their current franchise. Why would i say that?

That's right folks, from the mouth of Jeff "Tigole" Kaplan, one of the lead designers of WOW and one of the original guildmate of head Designer Rob Pardo. That's right folks, he is working on an unnamed MMO. Maybe, the fans that keep abreast of news like this, who then sees Cataclysm's utter failure, see the writing on the wall. Maybe Blizzard is concentrating on their new MMO. Man cannot serve two masters.

How a Mother Should Love

Webster's New Collegiate Dictionary defines the word Schism as "Division or Separation". The word Schism could be used to describe "racism", which is a division or separation of people. In the Old Testament, the Lord called Abraham to Himself, and made out of Abraham a people called Israel, or the Hebrews. After God called and made the nation of Israel, the rest of the people were then known as Gentiles. So there was a division between God's people, the Jews and the Gentiles. The Israelites, in times past, had a right, even a commandment "not" to mingle with the ungodly people, but when Jesus came on the scene, He broke down the barrier between the Jews and the Gentiles, and made it possible for all men to be saved.

I would like to introduce you to the woman in this story, she was a Gentile, she was a Canaanite woman. She was a mother, and in desperate need of help for her daughter. Jesus and His disciples, were the Israelites to whom this woman went to seek help.

The following scriptures contain the details of this story. St. Matthew 15:21-28

15:21 Then Jesus went thence, and departed into the coasts of Tyre and Sidon.

15:22 And, behold, a woman of Canaan came out of the same coasts, and cried unto him, saying, Have mercy on me, O Lord, thou son of David; my daughter is grievously vexed with a devil.

Right away, we see this woman coming to Jesus with a very serious problem, she has a daughter, who is possessed of the devil. This mother does not mince words, she gets right to the point: "..... Have mercy on me, O Lord, thou son of David; my daughter is grievously vexed with a devil."

The fact that the woman called Jesus, "thou son of David," indicates that she knew exactly who He was, and from which blood line He came. She of course knew that He was a Jew, and not a Gentile.

The Word of God does not tell us here, how the woman knew that the problem her daughter was experiencing was caused from demonic oppression, but we can safely guess that the girl was displaying some abnormal behavior. Perhaps she was speaking evil words, such as extreme profanity. Perhaps she was foaming at the mouth, which sometimes has been attributed to demonic influence, or she may have become extremely violent, either toward herself, or toward others. Either way, this mother decided that she needed help for her child, and she was on a mission to get that help from the Lord, God.

How many of us today, in this woman's situation, would have taken the child to a doctor, and eventually had the child admitted to a mental institution? Or if the person was older, would have removed the person from the home, and placed him/her in a convalescent home, when all the person really needed was God.

Let us see how Jesus handles this request from this loving mother.

15:23 But he answered her not a word. And his disciples came and besought him, saying, Send her away; for she crieth after us.

The Lord, of course, is "a Master" at testing a person's will, motives and desires. So initially Jesus did not respond to the woman at all. "But he answered her not a word....." She then turns and goes after the Lord's disciples, and tries to get them to help her. And the disciples, in turn went to Jesus, and begged Jesus to "get the woman off their backs!"
".....And the disciples came and besought him, saying, Send her away; for she crieth after us." Not much compassion her for this woman, from the disciples. But I love her perseverance. This is the power of love for her child, at work.

After Jesus' disciples had the opportunity to respond to the woman, and failed to do so, Jesus then turned to her, and spoke these words to her:

15:24 But he answered and said, I am not sent but unto the lost sheep of the house of Israel.

She understood exactly what this meant. Jesus indicated to her that the only people that could qualify for help from the Lord, was the people of Israel. If I were that woman, at that point, I probably would have turned and ran away, weeping as I went. But not this loving mother. Instead, she had a completely different reaction, she began to "worship" the Lord!

15:25 Then came she and worshipped him, saying, Lord, help me.

Instead of becoming angry, upset, and disappointed, this mother no doubt, bowed herself to the ground, and worshiped the Lord. One pastor put it this way, "Worship is how we touch God's heart." I have always found this to be true. Try this yourself, instead of expressing your disappointment to the Lord about what He has, or has not, done for you, learn to worship Him instead.

Nevertheless, even after the woman falls down and worships the Lord, the Lord gives her yet another the test. He gave her the "racism test". Few of us can pass that test. The Gentiles were sometimes looked upon by the Jews as less than human, "as dogs", as it were. This woman was very much aware of this, as Jesus spoke to her:

15:26 But he answered and said, It is not meet to take the children's bread, and to cast it to dogs.

What would you have done if this Man, whom you believed had the power to heal your child, called you "a dog"! The Lord gave this woman the ultimate test of endurance. He insulted her. What will she do now?!! Most people would have retaliated and called the Lord a name in return, or defended themselves, and let the Lord know that they were sorely displeased with His words. But this mother fooled us all, and taught us all a great lesson. The Lesson: If you know without a shadow of doubt, where you stand in God, "stand fast." Do not let negative words stop you. Look at her response:

15:27 And she said, Truth, Lord: yet the dogs eat of the crumbs which fall from their masters' table.

This is power of love personified. This mother cannot afford to allow words to turn her from her goal. Her daughter is at home, suffering. Her home is in a wreck. This mother needs God's help. Even if she is tempted to let the words stop her, she has no one else to whom she can go. She believed that this Jewish Savior was her last hope. After the Lord spoke these words to her, and implied that she as a Gentile, was no more than "a dog". She wisely responded, ".....Truth, Lord:" She never faulted, she stayed her course. What she was saying to the Lord, for future generations was: "If you say so, I'll be a dog, but at least Lord, be as nice to me, as the average person is to his dog. Let me have the crumbs that fall from the Master's table."

Persistence paid off. The Reward is received:

15:28 Then Jesus answered and said unto her, O woman, great is thy faith: be it unto thee even as thou wilt. And her daughter was made whole from that very hour.

This Canaanite woman had the persistence that only a mother could have. She stood the test. She sought the Lord on behalf of her child. She worshiped the Lord, and she received her petition from the Lord.

Conclusion

There are three major issues covered in this lesson:

Parents, pray for your children: We as parents must first know the Lord for ourselves, then we must pray for our children to be saved. We must fight to help our children be delivered from the hands of the Enemy;
Recognize the devices of Satan: Through study of God's Word, we must learn to recognize the devices of Satan, and how he operates. We must not mistakenly identify the devils devices in our lives, or the lives of our children.
Don't allow our feelings to rule us: With the help of God's Holy Spirit, we must fight past the feelings of rejection, racism, or hate, in order to reach our godly goals in life; whether that be helping our children, ourselves, or others. God bless you.

Facing What Makes You Uncomfortable Like a Man

How many of you remember the Mexican comedy El Chavo del Ocho, an off shoot of the well known Mexican comedy El Chapulin Colorado. In the show El Chavo del Ocho, Mister Villagran played a character named Quico, who was an adult who dressed up like a kid. In fact, he played the part of a spoil brat, who was always crying about this or that. Some of us in the Kingdom of God is like Quico. Though we should be all grown up in God, we still sometimes act like spoil brats.

In the 7th chapter of St. Luke, beginning at the first verse, we see that the Lord was very busy! From the time he entered into Capernaum, it started. And a certain centurion's servant, was sick and ready to die. And eventually Jesus healed the servant.

Jesus, then, while walking along, came upon a funeral, and pall bearers were carrying the only son of a widow woman to his grave. The Bible says that Jesus had compassion on the woman and raised the young man from the dead. This act caused the people to be very amazed, and fearful, and many began to glorify God. But there were those who also rejected Jesus. Their goal was to discredit and destroy Jesus.

Luke 7:30 But the Pharisees and lawyers rejected the counsel of God against themselves, being not baptized of him.

The Lord indicated that these men were like children in that they were not mature enough to stand on their own. They found it necessary to try and get everyone else to "play their games with them". And they also took the position of, "no fair," if anyone refused to play with them. This is the attitude of many in the Kingdom of God today. They have taken "a light-hearted attitude" concerning some very crucial topics, that of their God, and that of their souls.

Listen to what the Lord says about these men or people:

Luke 7:31 And the Lord said, Whereunto then shall I liken the men of this generation? and to what are they like?

It is clear that the Lord is talking about men, adults, man-kind. He says, "....the men of this generation?" And like always, the Word of God transcends time. It speaks to us in every generation, for all times. In observation of the behavior of many people, the Lord seems to reflect in his thoughts, in the latter part of Luke 7:31, "and to what are they like?" Then the Lord answers His own question; and who better to answer it.

Luke 7:32 They are like unto children sitting in the marketplace, and calling one to another, and saying, We have piped unto you, and ye have not danced; we have mourned to you, and ye have not wept.

When we here the expression, "...in the marketplace," we must picture an "outdoor market", in another land. This is not an indoor super market in big city, U.S. In this market place, there are booths with fruits and vegetables, meat, beans, rice. And there are men or women manning these booths. The children are running all around entertaining themselves by playing games. Lets look at the first game they play:

"....We have piped unto you, and ye have not danced." They are playing a game which involves some type of celebration. Part of the children will supply the music, and the others should dance to the music. But one half of the children have noticed that the other half is "not playing fair." Again the children scream, "....We have piped unto you, and ye have not danced." "No fair!" This is all that is on these children minds. But, remember, the Lord is not talking about children at all, He is talking about men, who for whatever reason, have not taken life seriously. They have taken the position of spoiled brats in the Kingdom. Many times in our congregations, we find people who seem to think that life is just a big party. "If it feels good, do it." "I am only hurting myself." and so on. "God means for His children to be rich!" And these people want the other people to go along with them, "no questions asked."

Now, let's look at the second game the children are playing while in the Market Place: "we have mourned to you, and ye have not wept." These children are playing a 'funeral game'. This is the game of death. In times past, when someone close to you died, and there were not sufficient mourners around, the family would sometimes hire people to mourn, or ask people to help them mourn. But there is something more serious going on here. It is the attitude of the children toward death. Many children in our culture, in the United States, have gotten a false concept of death. It is like they see on the cartoons. One cartoon character shots the other character full of holds. The character who got shot drinks water, and the water comes out of the holds....."ha, ha, ha, ha!" The next scene, the character who got shot in the last scene is alive and well. No problem! That is the way a child may see death. Is it possible that this is why, for the past 30 years we have had so many of our young people killing each other. For whatever reason, our young people have decided that death is no big thing. Neither is dying, and spending eternity separated from God. It is just a game!

So the second illustration the Lord gives in the St. Luke 7:32, ".....we have mourned to you, and ye have not wept." This is the way the game is played, one kid shoots the other kid, and the shot kid falls downs and plays dead, then the mourners come and cry for the shot kid, "boo-hoo-boo-hoo-hoo." But the Lord is saying that some of us are acting like spoiled brats. We are playing with thing, with which we should not play.

And how do we as Saints of the Most High respond to respond to those around us who have gotten these childish concepts about life, salvation, or God. Are we prepared to help them grow up in God.

CONCLUSION

Let me share this testimony with you. Some years ago, someone wrote me a letter about my method of sharing the gospel. The person suggested that I should start my sermons out with a joke. Many pastors do this to get the audience laughing, and relaxed. The person went on to tell me: "You are too serious. You need to lighten up a bit." So I took the matter to God in prayer. I asked the Lord if that was true: that I was too serious? Should I joke before preaching?" The Lord so graciously answered me. He told me this: "Many preachers are cracking jokes in the pulpit, while My (God's) people are on their way to hell." The Lord also told me this: "If it had not been serious, I would not have died." Amen?

Let's bring back a touch of elegance and class to our country. The manners and language of a country exemplifies how well they live. One can literally take a social measuring stick and get a perfect view of how well the citizens life according how well mannered they are. The less well mannered they are, the lower their standard of living. It is quite simple to understand that the further away from being animal-like one behaves, the better standard of living one has. The reverse is equally true. The better one's manners, the higher one's standard of living will climb.

How to Treat a Lady

Very often gentlemen are disappointed by the ladies they associate or call on. After the initial attraction wears off, the gentleman is astonished to find the person is no lady at all. While popular culture tries to do away with this notion of ladies, it clings to the notion of gentlemen. One cannot have a gentleman without a lady. Trust me when I say, we do not want to live in a world where there are no longer any gentlemen. While we may exist without ladies, gentlemen are a must, unless we cease to claim calling ourselves human any more.

About the disappointment gentlemen feel, when they discover the person they are with is no lady at all. If one were to treat all females as ladies, those who are not ladies would excuse themselves immediately. The pressure a gentleman brings upon a lady, that is not one, is too much to bear. A female that is not lady-like cannot tolerate being treated in such a manner.
Therefore, treating all females as ladies has a built-in defense mechanism.

So let us go over how a gentleman should treat a lady.

he should always address her proper title: Miss, Mrs, ma'am
he should hold her in deference:
- hold doors open for her
- give her the right of way when walking
- rise when she approaches to sit down
- present a chair for her to sit down
- push her chair in when she is seated
- allow her to speak and join in on conversations, even if the topic is not of her expertise, a fresh viewpoint is always amusing
- do not assume familiarity with her person[body], even if you have known her for some time
for elderly ladies, he should try to assist her in any way he can, to make sure she is comfortable at all times
he should never ever mistake her for a man

That last point is very serious and it means something far deeper than the words. Too often young gentlemen forget that females are not men. They forget, and treat them like men. With another male, a gentleman can be very blunt, harsh, or even cruel. Treating a lady in such a way would be the height of uncouth behavior. One does not do that.

A gentleman should have far stronger mettle to withstand anything a lady can do or say. One should never tolerate infidelity, but harsh words of a lady should be like mosquito bites to a gentleman. However, a gentleman should never retaliate at harsh words, even from another gentleman. He should always maintain a calm composure and evaluate if he should excuse himself or not. Should he determine that the person is in fact not a lady, he should excuse himself immediately. It would be shameful and as equally unacceptable should a gentleman entangle himself with a female of poor manners. A gentleman needs a lady, just as a lady needs a gentleman. One cannot consort with beggars and thieves and expect your social standing to be maintained or climb. One cannot consort with beggars and thieves and pine for a decent conversation.

There have been many occasions where I have held my tongue and treated a female like a lady, only to find out later she was the daughter of my boss, or business partner, or worse, his wife. Treating all females as ladies then works to your advantage then. Your good manners and behavior may be rewarded in real monetary ways. Also, promoting someone who is well-mannered is far more palatable than someone who is uncouth. Children in Public

Let us consider young humans. Be they children or young adults, etiquette applies to them as well. It is the role of the parent to instruct their offspring how to comport themselves in public. What occurs within the home is the subject of another topic altogether, however once said child or young adult emerge from the home, it is their parent's instruction that should govern their manners. Also, should a child or young adult behave poorly, it is a direct reflection on the parents and not a reflection on the child.

In today's society, too much responsibility has been placed upon children. This is an obvious attempt to shift blame from the parent. Alas, one cannot have his cake and eat it too. One cannot say it is the responsibility of the child, should he act poorly, but then turn around and say, because a child is young and inexperienced he should not be held responsible for the consequences of his actions. Either the child is to blame for his actions and must suffer the consequences in full, or the parent is to blame for the innocent child, and therefore the parent must take and accept responsibility for the poor actions of the child.

That being said, how should a child and or young adult act in public:

always respect his elders
1. defer to whatever an adult says
2. give an adult right of way when walking
3. assist adults if they need assistance, especially the elderly
4. address adults as ma'am and sir
5. have a neutral eye position when addressing an adult: do not stare at them, but do look at them when being addressed
6. wait to be addressed by an adult
7. if he needs an adult's attention, he should say excuse me and ask if he may speak to them for assistance
refrain from making loud noises in public, unless he is in an appropriate place, i.e. playground, rowdy sports event, where cheering is accepted
always treat parents with respect, especially in front of strangers or non-family members
he should remember that his family name and reputation rests upon his shoulders when he steps outside the home, he should therefore do everything in his power to at the very least make it appear as if his home is the cream of the crop
should he become older and form other opinions about the family, he should excuse himself from the home, but never speak ill of the family to others
should others invite him to participate in illegal activities or activities which would reflect badly upon the family, he should excuse himself from the company of such people

The parent should impress upon their offspring that not every family is as well mannered and well thought of as they are. Knowing this then, they should impress upon their offspring that, should they encounter other children who are not well mannered, they should feel absolutely no compunction to socialize with them.

If your child informs you that there are no well mannered children in the area and that the families that surround you are all of ill-repute, one should consider moving. As a parent, your first priority is to your family.

Behind closed doors you may question your child, and listen to him. A child would give you insight into circumstances that you might not be aware of. However, never allow a child complete liberty to address you without your wish. This only breeds contempt and blurs the lines of parent-child. If your child is to learn respect for his elders, he should start with you.

Understand, while others may feel that a child respecting his elders is an antiquated way of behaving, it is the most sensible. Not every adult will tolerate disrespect. There are those adults who would seriously hurt a child, just as they would another adult. Respect for adults is now only a wise way to behave, but also prudent for self-preservation. Imagine what could happen if you were to not teach your child this.

Those people calling themselves child psychologists, who advocate you befriending your child tread upon a very dangerous road. Children have been hurt, physically and mentally. Also, witness the explosion of children who have been jailed. As parental instruction becomes more and more lax, the number of children incarcerated yearly, goes up.

Child psychologists, may be helpful for those who need it, but they should not give their opinion on society at large. They are not instructed nor taught in social design. Understand plainly, child psychologist have no business telling the population at large how to treat their children. They are unqualified to do so. Should the need arise, go and see a child psychologist personally, but never take advice from a child psychologist you see on t.v. or read about in the newspaper.

Your Daily Encouragement

[I was going to go into a long tirade about how Black people tear me and each other down more than any other race on the face of the planet. I would know, because I have lived in more than 20 countries in my short life. But, I am not going to go into that negativity. Instead I give you these word of encouragement that I would hope you would read daily and keep in your heart.]

My fellow humans I present to you words of encouragement. With all the negativity surrounding religion, at its core it says to love one another. That love starts between us first, not from God, but each other first. It says, how can you love something that is unseen and yet not love your brother whom you can see. I give you this message, love one another first. That is why I start with, my fellow humans. Regardless of any twisted upbringing you may have had, science tells us we are all humans. If we were all identical, you couldn't tell your child apart from my child. Relish our differences. We've been taught to hate those different from ourselves. I say love those who are different from you. I say embrace those that appear strange to you. At the end of the day, there are no gods walking among us. Be not foolish, but also be not a hatemonger. I encourage you to love one another.

My lovely sisters I present to you words of encouragement. Your burden of bearing children makes you mother of us all. I would, that you remember this always. I would, that you would demand all manner of men remember this too. I would, that you would always be admired for your position as mother of us all. Even if your womb were closed, you can still be a mother. Your position as mother cannot be taken over by a man, nor can it even be approximated by a man. The world is born of your womb and suckles at your breast, no man in his infinite creativity will ever equate this.

My brothers I present to you words of encouragement. You are father of us all. On your backs the world was built. By your hands the fields were tended. By your hands the world was fed. You are the only one that can teach a man-child to be a man. I would, that you would always be admired for your position as father of us all. I would, that you would demand all manner of women remember this too. Even if your seed is dry, you are still a man and can still be a father. Your position as father cannot be taken over by a woman, nor can it even be approximated by a woman. The world is held by your strong arms.

It's a Matter of Race: How the Government Confused Millions

What Race are you?

Never shy to discuss a topic in detail, I picked up the story of how the census confused millions of Latinos around the country. At the end of the day, language is about communication. On this topic I have to actually ... DRUM ROLL... agree with the government. I know, stop laughing. It happens sometimes. Who'da thunk it? Me, Mister Antiestablishment, agreeing with "THE MAN". Ah well, I never close my brain off to the truth, even if it comes from the mouths of devils. So let's get into the story.

As I said, it is language that is best suited for communication, that gets lost on an uneducated population. No, I am NOT calling Latinos uneducated, although I am sure there are some, but I am calling the entire United States uneducated. *SHOCK* I'm sure you're not shocked by that. How can I make such a sweeping generalization? And, yes I am guilty too. Noone checked the definition of the word RACE.

I'm ashamed really. I count myself as an educated man, given to knowing the definitions of all terms, in English.

Picture this, I read this story and nearly fell out my chair laughing at my own stupidity. So the story goes that on the U.S. census, there were two questions which asked what RACE you are. The first one described the two major races on the planet: Black or White. Then the next one went into a bit more detail.

So what's the problem? The problem is that Latino is not a RACE. So there was no category for Latino in the questionnaire. The person had to literally say what race they were. All semblance of nationality were thrown out the window, because the question is not what nationality you are, nor is it what's your social background. For its part the government was using the scientific or clinical definition of race. We hear the word "race" used in everyday-speak in a very lazy way. This only serves to breakdown our own communication.

As the story unfolded, they found that millions of Latinos were both confused and incensed by this.

But, if you stop and think about it, Latino is not a race. The word Latino describes at least 3 different races. It is a broad word that covers almost half the globe, if you want to be technical.

So the government gave us all a lesson in English.

I find it funny. I got a good chuckle out of it. And, who is the biggest enemy, we can all point the finger at? The news. The news has done more to miseducate Americans than any other source of information.

How to reclaim a vehicle which has been impounded?

A. Who can pick up my vehicle?

The registered owner may pick up the vehicle, with valid Driver License and proof of insurance
The vehicle may be picked up by another person authorized by the owner to go to the Depot and claim the vehicle. This requires a Notarized Letter of Authorization, from the Registered Owner to the second person.

B. What type of Identification must the person picking up the vehicle have?

Again, a vaild identification is required.

E. When the authorized person goes to the Impound to pick up the vehicle, what should he/she have on his person?

The notarized Letter of Authorization from the registered owner
Valid Drivers License
Proof of insurance
Required fee to reclaim the vehicle

F. What forms of payments will the Impound company take?

Call the impound company and verify, but normally they should accept: cash, or most credit cards.

G. How long do I have to claim my vehicle from the Tow Company, once it has been towed?

We suggest you pick up the vehicle as soon as possible, like the next day
Pick up your vehicle not more than ten days after the tow

H. Could I permanently loose my vehicle, after it is towed?

Yes. If you do not claim your vehicle, within the allotted time, it could eventually be sold at auction.

American Idolatry

I find it amazing how many people today are involved in idolatry of many kinds. In this story Paul is at Athens, Greece, having been sent away from Berea, by the Brethren, for his own protection. On the day of Pentecost, the Holy Ghost had fallen afresh on the disciples, and those that were with them. Paul had also received the Holy Ghost after receiving prayer from Ananias, Acts 9:17. So Paul was very bold, and on fire for God. Some of the Brethren then had brought Paul to Athens and left him there. In Athens Paul encountered Idol worship.

Acts of the Apostles 17: 16-27

16: "Now while Paul waited for them at Athens, his spirit was stirred in him, when he saw the city wholly given to idolatry.
17. Therefore disputed he in the synagogue with the Jews, and with the devout persons, and in the market daily with them that met with him.
18. Then certain philosophers of the Epicureans, and of the Stoicks, encountered him. And some said, He seemeth to be a setter forth of strange gods: because he preached unto them Jesus, and the resurrection."

21. "(For all the Athenians and strangers which were there spent their time in nothing else, but either to tell, or to hear some new thing.)

What is idol worship? Answer: Smith's Bible Dictionary states it as: "An image or "anything" used as an object of worship in place of the true God."

Many people, particularly in America, believe that there is no longer idol worship practiced in this country, because we don't normally see large statues worshiped, such one may have seen in Egypt, or Europe, but we are just as guilty of idol worship as other countries. The definition says an image or "anything" used as an object of worship in place of the true God. What do you worship, in place of God.

Paul was amazed at how those in Athens sought to worship God, but missed the mark, and Paul described the Athenians in verse 16 as "....when he saw the city wholly given to idolatry." Verse 21, explains how they got to this state, "(For all the Athenians and strangers which were there spent their time in nothing else, but either to tell, or to hear some new thing.)"

IDOLATRY

That is how a lot people fall into idolatry......they want to hear or see something new, and different, even strange. The devil knows that people have these weaknesses, so he is eager to supply such things. And these things which are supplied by the devil comes in the form of "entertainment". In other words, the new thing keeps us fascinated for a time. That is how it captures the imagination. Idolatry is worshiping something other than God Almighty. If a religion, for example, worships something other than God, It is worshiping Satan.

WORSHIPING THE LORD

Whereas people think worshiping the Lord is basically the same thing each time, though worshiping the Lord, and communicating with the Lord is very exciting, but there is not always this constant new element in it. At the core of the gospel is Jesus Christ and Him crucified, and risen from the dead. That does not change.

This is the testimony of man who was set free from Islam in West Africa. Mohammed was involved in idol worship. He had been in Islam since birth, and was married and had two children.

He told me this testimony personally in West Africa:

One day as he was on his way to the mosque, the Holy Spirit placed him under arrest. As he walked to the mosque, he was holding the hands of his two boys, one 6 and one 8 years of age, one on each hand. The boys would have been wearing the African Native dress, a pair of loss long-legged pants, and a long sleeve loss quitting tunic shirt, matching the pants. One boy wore, a blue outfit, and the other boy a brown one. As Mohammed walked, he was eventually encounted by the Lord, who spoke with him audibly. It seems that Mohammed had been harrassing this one church, and whenever he had an opportunity, he would go to the church and throw rocks at the church and at the pastor. The pastor was sure that the man was hopelessly lost. But this particular day, as he was on his way to the mosque, he came to a point whereas he was unable to move either forward, backward, or sideways. But he could, however, turn in a circle. He was caught in an area of about 24 inches, when God began to speak with him. Mohammed told his boys to go ahead to the, mosque and he would join them latter. The boys went on ahead. { Now mind you, the mosque was close to Mohammed's home, and the boys would be able to walk home from there safely}. Mohammed reported that he stood in this one spot for some time. He stated that the Lord told him that this was the day that he must give his life to God. Like Paul on the Damacus Road, the man was instructed to go to the Pastor, he had been harassing, and apologize, and ask him to pray for him. When he finally agreed to do this, he was released and was able to walk to the church where he met the Pastor. The Pastor upon seeing Mohammed, was of course leery, and thought he was up to his old tricks. But Mohammed assured the Pastor that he was sincere. Afterward the Pastor agreed to pray for him, Mohammed gave his life to Christ. Consequently, Mohammed lost his wife, who was Muslim, and his home where he lived with his parents, and so on. But he gained eternal life with Christ Jesus.

Idolatry was a part of this man's life, and as a condition of his salvation, he had to give up idolatry.

There are probably millions of people who are trapped in idolatry everyday. They are faithful to whatever they practice, like those at Athens. They study whatever books they use. And somehow, they believe they are worshiping God. They have regular meetings, and even propagate their religion, but when it is all said and done, they are practicing idolatry.

The Lord teaches us very early in the Old Testament of the Bible, that "ye shall have no other God before Him." It is man's responsibility to seek the true and the living God, and to accept Him as Lord and savior so that that man might receive the gift of eternal life in Christ Jesus. God bless you.

What is the Single Most Effective Way You Personally Can Help Get America Out of this Economic Depression

What Can You Do

I do not think a lot of people are aware of what is really going on with the economy right now. They do not want to hear any more about the economy. They do not want to watch the news talk about the economy. But, the truth of the matter is, regardless of all the speeches, talks and news broadcasts, not one person is telling you: what really is going on; why it is going on; and what you can do to stop it. I have already gone over in my economic blog what were some of the reason of this economic depression. What I would like to discuss today is what you can do personally to take control of your financial destiny, AND in so doing it, help your fellow citizen take control of his financial destiny by proxy.

You might be wondering, why you would be influenced to help your fellow citizen take control of his financial destiny. The answer is simple. By doing what I am about to reveal to you, you are helping yourself. If just 30% of the population helps themselves, this economic depression will be over.

That sounds rosey and merry does it not? But, what I am about to reveal is going to take America through some very hard times and the medicine will be painful. But, let me assure you that, the reason it will be painful, is because the system we have set up now is fraudulent. What I will reveal will result in probably hundreds of thousands of people losing their jobs. You might ask, "how can that be a good thing?" The problem is, they should not have been hired in the first place.

Let me give you a real world example.

A vast majority of Americans used to work in factories for some time. While most would think, on the GRAND scale, that factory jobs are low paying, the fact is that factory work does not require an advanced degree. So, you had quite a large segment of the population making far more money, with only adult level education, than they would in any other segment of industry or business. Because of this the American lifestyle changed drastically. Most people were able to afford what only the rich could afford before. And, with cheaper production methods, whole segments of consumer goods were made available to people that could never dream of owning them before. It was never the same quality as it was when the goods were limited to those that could afford them, but they looked just like them.

With this heightened lifestyle, the American living habits changed. Instead of living off the land and cooking for themselves and eating at home19 out of 20 nights, they began to eat out more and more. This created the fast food industry.

Finally the captains of industry but the wagon before the horse. In order to chase the dollar of the general public, they started cutting corners to make production cheaper. In this pursuit, they finally removed labor altogether as the ultimate means to cut expenses. They did this by automation and / or outsourcing to lower income nations.

[giving them the benefit of the doubt and not assuming this was on purpose to strip the country of its wealth] They cut out the very workers that were their largest clientele. They had undone, what was their bread an butter before. However, the jobs that were lost in manufacturing now switched over into the service industry, including the same fast food industry which saw a big boom when workers were paid more and had leisure money.

Due to not taking a look at their finances and not noticing they could no longer afford it, and being creatures of habit and bending to peer pressure, most Americans continued to buy consumer goods as they had just learned to do. They continued to eat out, making it now a normality to eat out, and an unusual occasion to cook at home. Now it switched to eating at home 6 out of 20 nights. More and more of the population sought jobs and were hired into the very service industry they had helped create to service them, due to their former lifestyle.

That is a real world example of what happened in America. In a very short time, Americans forgot that the items they now bought were once luxury items that only the well to do and rich could afford: television; cars; eating out. Instead of going back to their previous lifestyle when their money was less, they continued to purchase these luxury items. They had been brainwashed into thinking that they were not, in fact, luxury items, but every day items needed for living.

The manufacturers of course did not care that they had done away with a lifestyle that could have continued on growing and growing, but they turned around and egged people on to continue purchasing luxury items. They removed all notion of what luxury was and what normalcy was.

Fast forward to more recent times.

One of the luxuries that became common place were homes. Some of you might be shocked at such a notion. But, let me tear the wool blanket from over your eyes.

Homes were never and will never be a consumer good. From the beginning of the modern homestead, homes have always depreciated in value. This is what realtors, brokers and the government wants you to forget. Why is there a tax write off for buying a home? Because of the depreciation of the home. As soon as you buy land, break it up and plop houses on it, the value goes down. Yes you might be able to sell them for more with brand new houses on it, but from that moment on the value depreciates. Because, the land could have been used for an entirely different project. Also a home depreciates anyway due to its age, maintenance costs and general upkeep.

Realtors, brokers and the government rely on the general population NOT doing their homework and going through the math to figure out the real cost of a home and how much a home depreciates. Let's say you purchase a home and you think you will live in it and then sell it when you get ready for retirement. Let's say the original purchase price is merely $300,000.00 and you think you will sell it for a cool $1 million when you get ready in 30 years. Do you think you would have made some money? Look at the chart below.

As you can see in the chart, even if you sold the house for $1 million you would be actually losing money. But, wait, I have even worse news for you.

The chart doesn't account for taxes going up. The chart doesn't account for the inflation of the dollar over 30 years. So even if you sold your home for $1 million in 30 years, due to inflation it would be worth $2 million after you account for inflation. So you are double, no triple, no quadruple screwed. None of this is even accounted for in the chart.

Inflation is the single most theft of wealth in the whole nation. Who has control of inflation?

Banks! Namely, the federal reserve.

So what can you do about this mess were in?

take your head out of the sand, sit down to your kitchen table, grab your wife, husband and kids and everyone grab a calculator, pencil, erasers and paper
figure out the real cost of how you live from day to day, week to week, month to month
you are going to adding the cost of inflation to all your calculations, including your paycheck
remove any and all money you have from big banks
buy a house safe and put the money in the safe and only you should know it, not even your kids should know it
keep 10 months worth of cash in there at a minimum, remember to account for inflation
if you must keep money in a bank, put it in a local credit union, and you just CAN'T find one, put it in a LOCAL bank
if your local bank gets bought out by a large bank, remove your cash and find another credit union or local bank
pay off all loans in full, as soon as you possibly can, remember you are calculating everything with inflation
rip up, cut up any and all credit cards [credit is a financial farce and a hoax played on the American population]

You are to pay for everything in cash. If you do nothing else out of the list, because you're too stupid to breath, at least pay for everything in cash, in full. This practice alone will save you thousands of dollars.

Remember what NOT paying in cash gets you:

bank fees
over draft fees
taxes on items you pay in installments
inflation raises the cost of an item you pay in installments
interest rates on items you purchase, even minor inexpensive items

Paying in cash would remove 30% of your financial worries.

If 30% of America followed the list of 10 things we would be out of this financial crisis this year. I guarantee it. I put my first-born's life on that.

Let me leave you with this. I've said this before in one of my reports here. The value of houses circa 2008 were dramatically INFLATED. It was a scam to make money and keep making money. Home values should not have been anywhere near where they were. Homes were selling for $100,000 that were worth maybe $35,000. Homes that were selling for $1 million were worth $300,000. And, after looking into they found that everyone was in on it. Noone thought of it as wrong because it seems innocent to say a home is worth a certain amount. The more a home is worth, the more houses will sell in general; inspectors will have more work; more construction; brokers can pawn off loans to big banks; big banks can package and sell the loans as financial instruments to investors who either do not care or who are too stupid to handle their money anyway.

When they say there was fraud, don't point the finger at the buyer without point the finger at everyone from the house appraiser all the way up to the president of the United States. And, make sure you go all the way back to Clinton, not just Bush, and Obama is just as lying as they are.

Movie Review: Kick #SS

Matthew Vaughn's Kick #SS

Sorry I don't curse, and consider that word a curse word. Bite me! I think it is unconscionable that American society has degenerated so far down the totem pole that curse words are expected to be used as common parlance. There is a reason they were called curse words. They were considered evil and vile and those who spoke them were considered evil and vile. Ok, on to the movie review. This is a review of what was thought to be a superhero movie by Matthew Vaughn. The previews said it was a superhero movie. The media blitz said it was a superhero movie. Walks like a duck. Talks like a duck. So why isn't it a superhero movie?

Don't waste your money.

First of all, this was 3 movies in one. I mean seriously. Who writes this garbage. Come to find out the comic book was not even finished. So the actual story and idea was not even hashed out first. And, it shows. It is as if two or three different people were given the names of the main characters or separate names even, and went off to their separate corners to concoct their stories.

Movie #1

Ok, so we start off with plot number 1. We see a nerdy, geek in high school who is as nondescript as most C average students that make up the masses in America. Should we feel happy that a non-Grecian god is the star of the movie? Will he make the C students proud? No, he goes into a tirade of how he jacks off to his teacher, African women in national geographic and curses like a sailor.

The first 18 minutes of the movie were so hard to sit through I had to pray to Mother Theresa for strength and patience to get me through it. But, that was just preparing you for the boredom of the rest of the entire long, boring movie. The premise of the story hits at about the 24th minute into the movie. So for the next 9 hours we are going to find out how this pans out. "Why hasn't anyone in the history of the world, who have read comic books, ever thought about and donned superhero costumes and become a superhero." His friends respond with, "because that S**** is stupid and he'd get his but kicked, and be dead in a day." I wish he would have listened to his friend because in two days he's dead. Ok well almost. Can you say obvious?

So wood be comic reader, orders a scuba suit with mask and goes out to get his butt kicked. That is the entire plot. Wait, I mean for movie #1 that's the entire plot.

Movie #2

I am not joking there are at least 3 plots in this movie. Next we meet Nicholas Cage [who apparently needs movie badly, since why is he in this movie, and he of course lent no acting credence to it] and his 9 year old daughter. They are obviously odd since they are negotiating over how many times he can shoot her with her bullet proof vest on versus if she will get to go bowling and have ice cream.

In this plot, these two superheroes are polished, assassins who have money, technology and an actual plan. And, that plan is to massacre the entire organization, man by man, of New York crime boss. Oh, did I say massacre, I meant slaughter like hogs and showing more blood than Interview with a Vampire.

Now you're asking yourself, how does the geeky kid get involved with the two sado-masochists from a Quentin Tarantino movie. Well, one of the geeky boy's friends dropped a hint that if he would tell a guy to stop harassing her, she'd put out. That's not what she said, exactly, but that's what every man under the age of 90 would pick up on. Yes, the movie is just that messy. So geeky boy goes to talk to the harasser and lo and behold, he just happens to be one of the men on the list of the slaughter mania twins. Enter the blood, violence and sheer over the top fights in movie history. The little girl proceeds to butcher everyone in the house, including a big tittied slut right in the chest and vagina. Oh they didn't show her getting skewered, exactly, in the chest and vagina, but there was a sword through the door at chest height and one down at vagina height, that any human could assume, given her height, would be placed in those places. A favorite sword placement of the tiny tot, was between the neck and clavicle, plunging it down through the chest and lungs, and pulling it out for maximum blood splatter.

Here's a conundrum, our 17 year old superhero, high-school nerd is catatonic after witnessing this gore first hand, but the 9 year old doesn't bat an eye at it. Well, of course, she's the one doing it, so it stands to reason.

Here's another conundrum, while showing violence against women is a very taboo subject in movies, this one has not only a female getting shot out windows, taking brass knuckles to the face, and baseball bats to the teeth, but it's a kid too.

Really? I mean really? Is that what Hollywood has debased itself to?

So plot #2 has an actual story to it, while plot #1 has no story to it.

It was long, boring, made no sense, was violent for no reason, had a 9 year old girl cursing for no reason and was pointless.

Oh, and there will be a sequel, for no damn reason.

Oh, I left out, one of the last fight scenes, was shot in the dark. How's that for a kick in the balls. Hell I could turn on the radio and get better entertainment, if that's what you're gonna show me. A pitch black screen with shots being fired here and there? Bite me. Just go F yourself Matthew Vaughn.

Are You Wise or Foolish

Surprisingly enough, there is a great deal in the word of God about weddings, and marriages. Over the years we have noticed that a lot of people, both those professing to be Christians, and those who are not professing, take this business of marriage very lightly. Many people seem to think that they can enter into a marriage at will, and leave it at will. But the Lord sees marriage much differently than man sees it. Often, we take the decision to accept the Lord as Savior, or to reject Him, just as lightly. Many have created their own set of rules, policies and procedures. Things, like "I don't need to go to church"; "I am a man, what do you expect," "I am only hurting myself, so who cares". These are ideas, which while they sound convincing, do not agree with the word of God.

While Jesus was here on earth, when He taught, He always used subject matter with which the people around Him, and future generations, could easily understand. The Jewish people, for example, understood protocol, how to follow rules (most of the time). What I am referring to is this: If one was invited to a wedding, one would have the option to go to that wedding, or not to go. But, if one did not receive an invitation to the wedding, he would be considered very ill mannered, if he showed up at that wedding. And may be asked to leave. That holds true even to this day, 2010.

In the Book of St. Matthew 25:1- 13, tells what I consider, a very profound story. Here the Lord talks about two groups of people, who had a lot in common. They both seemed to be heading for the same destination, a wedding. Both groups headed out at the same time, but the two groups ended up in two very different places.

St. Matthew 25: 1-13

1. " Then shall the kingdom of heaven be likened unto ten virgins, which took their lamps, and went forth to meet the bridegroom.

Here we see the two groups of people . What they had in common was the fact that they were all "virgins". They were somehow clean living people. Their behavior was acceptable in their communities. They dressed the part. They looked the part. Neither one of them would have been considered unholy by todays standards.

2. And five of them were wise, and five were foolish.

But though they both appeared to be clean living, the Word of God says, that five of them, that is 50% of them, were wise; and 50% of them were foolish.

3. They that were foolish took their lamps, and took no oil with them.

Now, this is the first group of people who are on their way to this wedding, which I call the "Ultimate Wedding". In other words, once we get to this wedding, there will be no other need to attend a wedding. This wedding, in my estimation, speaks of the marriage of God, to His people, or the church. And this first group of people believe, for whatever reason, that they are invited to attend.

This first group of people, the five foolish virgins are somewhat prepared. Look at the fact that they took their lamps with them. The lamps represents the soul of man. This says that they knew that the journey would be long. But they underestimated how long. Because, though they took their lamps, and the lamp had some oil in them, their mistake was, they "failed" to take any extra oil with them. And they took the wrong oil. They evidently believed that they had enough oil in their vessel to last the entire trip. They did realize that there would be times when there would be light outside, and there would be times when there would be darkness.

I believe that the oil that is in their lamps, represented God the Holy Spirit. For He, the Holy Spirit, is the one that guides us in this life. He is that light. So this group of people had, at some point, some type of spirit in their lives, but not the Holy Spirit. They had some type of religion, but not the real thing. We will see later what happens to the oil and thus the light they were carrying.

Later, we will see that both groups were traveling in the company of each other. Each one of the groups "slept" while the bridegroom tarried. This sleep speaks of the sleep of death. In other words, there shall come a time when we shall all experience death, in one form or another. We shall leave this earth.

4. "But the wise took oil in their vessels with their lamps.

Now we observe the second group of virgins. They are called "wise". This group of virgins prepared themselves for this journey very differently than the foolish virgins. The wise virgins took their lamps, but they took extra oil with them, along with the oil that was already in their lamps. This oil, as stated before represents the Holy Spirit. We must not only believe God, we must receive Him into our lives in the fullness, so that we may be able to make the journey to this ultimate wedding in peace. We also must cultivate the Holy Spirit that is within us.

5. While the bridegroom tarried, they all slumbered and slept.

Again these two groups of virgins have something else in common. The all slept, while they were waiting for the bridegroom to come. This sleep they speak of here, is the sleep of death. We will all, at some point have death in common. The Book of Hebrews, 9:26-27, talks about the fact that Jesus suffered death one time for us, therefore, we to must suffer death once. So that while we wait for the return of Jesus to this earth, most of us will pass through the transitional state called death.

6. And at midnight there was a cry made, Behold, the bridegroom cometh; go ye out to meet him.

In times past, men had the job of "the town crier." This is what we see happening here in verse 6. The town crier, makes the announcement: ".....Behold, the bridegroom cometh; go ye out to meet him." The town criers are pastors, prophets, evangelist and teaches, who are crying out to the world, "the bridegroom cometh". The bridegroom, who is none other than Jesus Christ, Himself, at His great return to earth, to receive His people. In this scene, Jesus has made His re-entry into the great planet earth. And we his people are called to go out to meet Him. This time shall be the end of life as we know it.

7. Then all those virgins arose, and trimmed their lamps.

The fact that all the 10 virgins arose, both the wise and the foolish, teaches us that we all shall rise from the dead.

All shall sleep in the grave, and all shall arise from the dead, but some shall enter into everlasting punishment and others into eternal life. Read St. Matthew 25:46.

And they all trimmed their lamps. These all went to sleep in hope that they would receive eternal life. Even when they got up, they were still expecting to meet the bridegroom. They all got up, and trimmed their lamps. They were very close to this wedding. They were just seconds away from the door.

8. And the foolish said unto the wise, Give us of your oil; for our lamps are gone out.

Now you city slickers, or young people, who have never been forced to use an oil lamp, may not be able to picture this thing. But those of us who are now considered Senior Citizens, have no doubt seen one of these lamps, and many of us have used them. The oil is at the bottom of the lamp, normally kerosene, and there is a wick made of cloth which sits in the oil, and extends from the bottom of the bottle of oils, up through the hardware of the lamp and pulls the oil from the bottom of the lamp upward, and wets the wick with oil. One then lights the wick. There is normally a glass globe over the light unit to protect the user, and reflects light. This glass must be cleaned periodically. Once the wick has burned for a while, the end of the wick becomes burned, and must be trimmed off to expose new wick, before the owner can light it again. If, in the meanwhile the oil has been used up, or dried out, the owner must get more oil before they can light the lamp again. This is what has happened in our story.

9. But the wise answered, saying Not so; lest there be not enough for us and you: but go ye rather to them that sell, and buy for yourselves.

At this late time in this trip, no one can afford to care for his fellow. Every man must now be ready to meet his maker. There will be "no, please pray for me!" or "Please explain the Word of God to me!" There is no time for this. So then the last part of verse 9, the wise tells the foolish virgins, "...but go ye rather to them that sell, and buy for yourselves."

At this point, it would not matter where the foolish virgins went to look for this oil they needed. They will never have time to go, get this thing straight, and come back, and attend this wedding.

I would offer, that they went and got more of the same oil, if at all.

10. And while they went to buy, the bridegroom came: and they that were ready went in with him to the marriage: and the door was shut.

11. Afterward came also the other virgins, saying, Lord, open to us.

So in verse 10, we find that the foolish virgins actually went somewhere to look for oil, or the spirit. I would offer that they went to the same places as they had gotten the oil before. They would have then ended up with the same oil. These foolish virgins also came back. They made a great effort to attend this wedding, or to gain eternal life, but they didn't make it. Listen to what the bridegroom say to the foolish virgins.

12. But he answered and said, Verily I say unto you, I know you not.

The foolish virgins were not known of the bridegroom, whom I presented to you as Jesus Christ. Though they were religious. They lived decent lives, but they did not have what they needed to enter eternal life. In case there are those who still do not believe that this wedding invitation has anything to do with eternal life, read verse 13 below.

13. Watch therefore, for ye know neither the day nor the hour wherein the Son of man cometh."

This marriage is definitely about the return of the Lord to this earth. That is what we are preparing for.

Conclusion

This invitation, is extended to all who will, to come to the marriage supper of the Lord. It is the "invitation to the ultimate wedding". It is the invitation to eternal life. May the Lord richly bless you.

Congress Discusses Should Blacks Get Reparations

Reparations Bill on the House Floor

Reparations It's being discussed and thrown around the house. I believe Black leaders simply expected that since Obama was elected that surely the bill, which is postponed each year, would finally see the light of day. Understand a couple of things before we get into the merits of the bill. Reparations were on their way and a part of the Lincoln plan right after his proclamation. Through the Freedmen's Bureau former slaves had been granted land and a reapportionment was on its way to give all freedmen [former slaves] land as a PART of their reparations. Also a promise was made of 40 acres and a mule to the Blacks. That never saw the light of day and was never honored. Some might laugh at the mule part. But know this, wealthy land-owners in the south kept a stranglehold on tools and livestock. Thus they could keep the freedmen at their beck and call, because they had to return to them to actually do anything on the land. Even after slavery, to the 80s white southerners made it a practice to murder Blacks. This was reported to over and over, from civil war all the way up until the 80s or even early 90s. It is a callous nation that never puts this chapter to rest. You would think that in order to prosper that the gravest injustice ever committed on a human being should be dealt with in the most powerful country on the planet, but reparations is always shunned.

So what's being discussed in congress? On the one hand some states are simply proposing apologies to slavery in their state legislatures and the citizens are balking at that. WOW!!! People always present affirmative action as a bastion of equality in the land.

Affirmative action never works, hasn't worked, is horrible for every candidate, and has been sued against by white people to nearly out of existence today. Immediately as Black hirees enter in a firm they have a stigma of "he's here because of affirmative action", regardless of him actually being hired on his own merits [like me all the time]. The program is trash. Instead of Congress doing the right thing, which have been to fund well established and verified college and professional school that are attended by Blacks, they went with the big business alternative which was the affirmative action bill, which actually leaves private companies out of the loop entirely. But, shhh you're not supposed to know that. You're supposed to think that private companies that recieve zero public funding are somehow, under penalty of law, required to hire minorities in their firms. Really? Are you that dense? In the mean time fools are harassing Black people at their jobs saying they were hired because of their skin color due to affirmative action. [that gets a big facepalm for being racist and stupid]

The 1988 civil liberties act opened the door for the Japanese to receive reparations. Those checks started going out in NINETEEN NINETY NINE. Yup just 10 years ago, Reagan signed it into being. [good old Reagan. sarcasm off]

WWII was a long time ago, however slavery didn't happen a long time ago, as some may think. For the most part African descendants were still basically [not technically] enslaved until the 1960's. Where afterwards they were promptly jailed en masse. The case for Black reparations has never been made to the white population in America. There is so much misinformation that the media AND SCHOOL teaches that more Americans are under a complete false assumption that Blacks not only shouldn't get reparations but don't deserve it. The media uses its influence to shape the minds of uninformed Americans, by presenting a stigma of Black people already "received" their reparations in the form of social programs. A lot of white people think Blacks are the main recipients today of social programs. WHITE PEOPLE are the main recipients of all those social programs. The Black man and woman are constantly presented in America as shiftless, lazy, unemployable and abusing the social system, i.e. welfare, food stamps, medicaid. I have already written blog posts on this very blog about white recipients of welfare outnumbering the entire population of African Americans.

86% of African Americans are employed, (91% in 2001)
75% of African Americans live ABOVE the poverty level.
11% of African Americans who live below the poverty level are not eligible for public assistance or any social program.
14% [or 5,292,000] of African Americans are below the poverty level are are eligible for public assistance, however 3,000,000 of those are jailed and don't receive public assistance, leaving 2,292,000 eligible for public assistance.

There are over 50 million white people on public assistance. There aren't even 50 million African Americans in the United States.

The median income gap between whites and blacks has drastically widened since 1971. For the most part, a lot of African descendants still suffer from the evils visited upon the slave, the sharecropper, and the civil rights marcher. A huge swath of African descendants living in America are illiterate, to this day, and live in abject poverty or are jailed (wonder if there's a correlation between illiteracy and getting into the penal system. nah, that can't be possible).

Do African descendants deserve reparations?

we gave reparations to the Japanese we jailed for a very short time, 2 years.
we gave reparations to the citizens of Guam ON BEHALF of the Japanese, who had attacked them. Yes we paid Guam for the Japanese attacking them. Your government! [don't get me wrong I'd move to Japan in a heart beat, but I'm only conversant in Japanese, not fluent]
slavery lasted for over 350 years, and after slavery a complete indentured servitude; laws called Black Codes; sharecroppers being forced to raise cash crops for land-owners sprouted up in its place. really just a semantic with slavery. there are families TO THIS DAY still paying off "loans" that were imposed upon their father's father's father.
reparations were made to the slaves in the form of land after slavery, Andrew Johnson repealed that as soon as he took office and the land was never given back. YES WE WERE BEING PAID, BUT IT WAS TAKEN AWAY BY YOUR GOVERNMENT. I bet they don't teach that in poli sci nor history classes.

Surely if we are handing out reparations for injustices visited upon people on behalf of the U.S., the most tragic story visited upon a people on the face of the planet [African Americans] deserve reparations.

I think the reason this is such a hot button, is that white people don't want to admit their sins nor do they want to admit that they have directly or indirectly benefited from slavery to this very day, regardless of them being in the south or north. Slavery led to Jim Crow laws, lynchings, terrorism on Blacks. All the way up to the 1970's. There is still intimidation of Blacks going on till this very day.

The Race is Not Given to the Swift, But to He That Endures

Stay in the Race

Often times we like to complain and bemoan our lot in life. "Oh I'm fat now." "Oh I'm broke now." "Oh I can't exercise because of my diabetes." Interestingly enough, if you're of a mind that never takes the present into consideration and fix your sights on a specific goal regardless of the happenstance, you'll achieve it. I'm not talking about the Oprah Winfrey B.S. about the cosmic "Secret", which is a Godless believe, that'll have you praying to demons, I'm talking about setting your mind on "on". Don't get me wrong, I love Oprah to death, but literally if you "don't know" what you're focusing your energy on, demons will very gladly take the opportunity to step right into place and act as your "guiding spirit". I'm not saying you have to pray to God, but for damn sure, don't pray openly. God only comes when he's called, them other folks come anytime you open your mouth. If you pray to the "cosmos", they'll gladly put on a galactic dress and sit right down at your table and break bread with you.

I say, if you're not going to pray to God, don't pray at all. Because, you don't know the forces you're dealing with anyway. Leave them alone. Just say, "my mind is made up." And, leave it at that. There's no need to chant, moan, wallow around in ashes. Just say you're made up your mind and you'll not let anyone else dissuade you.

I bet my readers are wondering where this is coming from all of a sudden. I did a thing for someone. They didn't appreciate what I did for them, and in the process sort of looked down on what I was doing. I had to set them straight. I had to make sure the air was completely cleared between us. I told them that I had handed them gold and they put it under their wobbly stool to make it uncrooked. That's how unappreciative they were of what I did for them. I then further went on to say, that I have the same thing and I know what I have is gold. If they choose to treat their gold like something you wrap dead fish in, so be it. I'll have nothing more to do with it.

Well what does this have to do with setting your mind to "on"?

That's it exactly. I set my mind on "on", a long time ago, and I know what I have it gold. So no matter what anyone says, or how they look at what I have, I have made up my mind already.

I'm not saying to tell anyone off that gets in your way. But, if you have to set the record straight, do not hesitate to do so. Because, in so doing, it will reaffirm, in your own mind, what you decided.

So for instance you wanted to make the best strawberry cake anyone had ever tasted.

you go out and look for and find the best, organic strain of strawberries on the face of the planet
you learn how to grow the strawberries with your own hands and cultivate them to be better than when you got them
you grow your own wheat, to make sure the quality of the cake is irreproachable
you grow the sugar canes to make sure the sugar is of impeccable quality

Now let's say you have studied cake making techniques for months and think you are ready to harvest all of your ingredients. Let's say your friend, who know nothing about growing plants, nor being a chef comes to your house one day while he's hungry. You give him some of your hand picked strawberries. Now, remember he's hungry, so he might be overwhelmed by the strawberries simply based on that fact. You ask him how he likes the strawberries and expect nothing but praise. Instead, he shrugs and says, "they're just strawberries," and goes on about his business. Let's say he returns 20 times and says the same damn thing. After 20 times you turn to him and say, "do you even know what you're eating? Do you know these are the best strawberries on the planet and I've cultivated them myself?" He shrugs and goes on about his business.

Now most people would consider

this is my friend
if he didn't like it, even when he was hungry, noone else will

And, they stop. They root up all the strawberries, sugar cane, and wheat and go settle for a dishwashing job. Seriously, 90% of the population does this. In fact, when they have children, they make sure the children don't attempt to make the best strawberry cake.

This defeatist notion is perpetuated generation after generation.

So I say to you, make up your mind and turn your mind to "on". I don't even mean it as encouragement. I mean it as a matter of fact. And, if you have to study about the thing you set your mind on, study your heart out. There is nothing wrong with admitting you don't know a subject you're interested in.

So many times I hear, "you don't know nothing about wall street financing." And? That's just nothing but time and opportunity and a good book away.

That is how you have to think. I have heard so many big named actors say they just decided that "no" would not be the answer. Oh, they took no, many times, but they never accepted "no" from themselves. If you lay down your sword in a sword fight... more than likely you will be the first to die. I'm not certain about the whole logistics, but my gut feeling says, that would be a very short lived prospect to lay your sword down in a sword fight.

Anyone with a brain wouldn't lay their sword down in a sword fight right? But, what if you didn't KNOW you were in a sword fight? "Shakaama, how could someone not know they were in a sword fight?" Easy, their enemy keeps cutting up paper into confetti blinding them to what's really going on. Distracted by the confetti, they lay down their sword. They are stabbed over and over and over again and don't even feel it after awhile.

This is 90% of America.

Don't let this be you. Pick up your sword and fight. Make your mind up and don't let anyone distract you, or they'll have you to deal with. Or, if you let your dream die, so will you.

Traffic Light Cameras Issuing Phoney or Fraudulent Tickets

Caught on Film: Given a Fraudulent Traffic Ticket

It seems the cameras on top of traffic lights aren't the 3rd miracle we all were told. Nearly all of them are in violation of some U.S. constitutional law or even more unbelievable, state constitutional laws and regulation. As if that weren't enough, they have been caught sending out fraudulent tickets to people in the mail, directly from the company. People assumed they were from the state and were paying them. I mean come on, who's that dumb?

Anyway, the cameras on top of traffic lights are all 100% fraudulent. This is a warning. They are not to be paid. You should report any contact you have directly from the Redflex company, to your local authorities or your state attorney general's office. They have consistantly averted local laws and tries to set themselves up as outside of the laws and regulations.

Some of the cameras have been set up in direct violation of state laws, i.e. they were setup in cities inside a state and had not gone through any of the procedures businesses normally need to go through. They have been prosecuted and removed from several states. In one proceeding the judge didn't even know there was a violation. [can you believe he's still a judge] The attorney general had to come in and educate the judge.

How could this happen?

Seriously? You have to ask? Well, money of course. And, they have plenty of it.

My Wish for Black Relationships

Time Out

Black people, we need to call a truce. On one side we have Black women mad. On the other side we have Black men completely leaving Black women alone. And, what's the end result? The steady decline of the Black home. Why? Because there's not gonna be a Black home. I've written about divorce rates being low in the Black community, but the marriage rate being low. I've written about welfare being low in the Black community. I've written about unemployment being low overall in the black community, yet Blacks being overly represented amongst those unemployed. The Black community is under siege and we need to stop this bickering. At the heart of this bickering is the Black relationship.

This is my wish list for Black relationships. I'm writing this just off the top of my head and from my heart. I'm going to try to understand every side of the coin... or rubix cube really, because, contrary to popular belief, we Black people are as diverse as white people.

Why are Black Women Mad?

This is one of those questions that begs the question. You see talk shows about it. You read magazines about it. You see it in movies. Best selling books have been written about it.

Black women have fed into this lie so much that they have collected the dvd's, the books, got the songs on their ipod and save the magazines on their coffee table.

It's a lie.

Black women are no more mad than I am about unicorns trampling my living carpet down. You mean it ain't true at all? Nope. It's just something to sell books, movies and tapes. [lol who listens to tapes still] It's just a marketing ploy to get you to buy their crap. There has not been a national survey that went around to Black women asking "are you an angry Black woman?" If they did, it would be ridiculous.

So come off it. You're not angry and neither are your Black girlfriends. Stop feeding into the lie. Stop buying the dvds and cds about some "Angry Black woman."

How ridiculous would it be, if there were an "Angry White woman" movie? So why isn't it ridiculous that there are movies, books and tapes about Black women? If you stop supporting the lie, it will go away.

If Beyonce sings about bills and how her man is a scrub, don't go buy that CD. If some author writes how her man divorced her and she let him sit in his own poo to get back at him, don't go buy that book.

They are just perpetrating a stereotype that existed since slavery to sell their crap. We have to rise up above that kind of foolishness.

Black Women are Only Good for One Thing

This is directed at both Black men, and boys, and Black women, and girls. How dare you sit there and let some other man call a Black woman a whore, skeezer, hooker, dyke and even pay for the privilege of hearing it? Don't get me wrong. I've written that such and so is acting whorish, because 10 different semen was found in her junk, that's different from a rap about "put em on the glass and shake it" cuz you a ho. Come on.

And, why would a Black woman / girl BUY a CD that the guy says B***** every other word, referring to Black women? I mean, how stupid are you? Yall bout to make me go off. And, I mean all the way Ving Rhames off.

If I had a daughter that brought home a Cd and the rapper said "B***** better have my money" or "I got 99 problems but a B**** ain't one" I would beat her so bad, she'd be cripple for life. Oh hell no. What sane woman would sit up listening to that.

And, what sane Black man would get off to hearing some other Black man calling sisters a B****. WTF! Then you got white boys hollering some mess like "them is some fine Black B****es". Seriously? WTF?

Do you date whores? Do you date prostitutes? Is the mother of your children a hooker? Then why would you perpetuate some idiot, THAT PROBABLY DIDN'T WRITE THE LYRICS TO BEGIN WITH, and I go into that in several posts on here, calling black women skeezers and whores?

Everybody in the Club Getting Tipsy

Here's a fact. Black people have never, ever manufactured drugs. They were brought in, by the white man to destroy the Black community. What is going on in your life, that you can't stand up to your problems with a sober mind?

If you got financial problems... CLUE PHONE... STUDY A F****ING BOOK ABOUT SOME MONEY. Seriously, there is nothing you cannot tackle by studying about it. And, I mean study the real scoop. There are idiots that put everything on the internet. You can read all about the inside out of it, right here on the internet.

If you got family problems,... well I say study the Holy Bible. Honestly, for all you people out there pretending God doesn't exist, who cares, the Bible has more wisdom in it, than any book on the planet. I'm not even trying to preach to you. But I call a spade a spade. I guarantee you, if you got a personal issue going on, go look up that very problem in the Bible. I guaran damn tee you, it's in there, in black and white. And, it'll have a better solution than these stupid psychology books.

Black Men Leaving Black Women

Just as I rail against the Black women for chasing Black men away with their mistreatment of Black men, ... brothers, come on. No two Black women are the same. You are an idiot if you write off Black women because you went to a sleezy club and picked up a ghettofabulous girlfriend who turned out to be, not the damsel in distress you thought she would be. REALLY? Then you get mad at all Black women. That's just retarded. Come on.

If you go to the gutter to find diamonds, it's on you when you end up with poop.

I think the survey where they asked Black men why they were writing off Black women or "why they wouldn't date nor marry Black women," was answered by Black men that knew what they were getting into, i.e. picking up Black women at clubs.

I already have written two articles about Black women not being there for Black men. So I won't go back into how terrible that is. I mean we have to stand together, Black man supporting and caring for Black women and Black women supporting and caring for Black men.

GASP! did you read that right?

Yes, I wrote the same damn thing for women as I did men. Sisters if you don't realize that white America will fire a Black man at every opportunity they get, then you have your head stuck in the ground and don't see what is plainly around you.

So while you're listening to these stupid songs about unemployed Black men, check yourself. You need to be listening to songs about how the white man fired 50% of all Black men in New York City. Oh, noone wrote a song about that one did they?

While you're listening to a stupid song calling a Black man a scrub ridding in the passenger side of a car, you need to be listening to the song about how the white man increased hiring among Black women, but at menial and low paying jobs, while white, Hispanic and Asian women were being hired into management. Oh, noone wrote a song about that one did they?

Brothers need to find a quality sister. You need to find a Black woman, with some back bone and some sense. There are a whole lot of idiots out there. But, there's a whole lot of white, yellow, brown, tan idiots too. Why would you dump Black trash, to go whore with some white trash? If anything, uplift the Black trash and be a "real man".

And, I'll just say this briefly. Since so many Black women love to call a brother out and say "he ain't a man." Let me define FOR YOU, what a REAL man is.

takes care of his family
defends his family
would never hit ANYONE lesser than him [male or female]
puts his children ahead of himself

That's a real man. Now for all of you whores out there calling Black men, not real men, check your "not real man" against my list.

It has nothing to do with him having a large penis [yes I've heard this out of a sister's mouth] If it were that crucial, buy him a penis pump and go on with your whorish ways happily ever after. I'm just being real.

It has nothing to do with him buying YOU nothing. You're being a mooch. If you are grown, buy your own damn stuff. Buy your own damn food if you're hungry.

It has nothing to do with him driving a GOOD car, nor a car at all. There are plenty of Asians and white people with no damn car, and no Asian chick nor white chick would ever question their boyfriend's manhood about it. Also, 50% of all cop interaction with the public with by traffic stops. So while you're ranting about Black men not having cars and Black men being in jail, how about your kill 2 birds with one stone. Give up the car, and ride the bus in peace. I see plenty of other race couples, happy as all get out, on the bus. And, in Europe, it's pain to own a car. In New York, parking costs just as much as a mortgage on a house. [we're not even talking about car not, upkeep, registration fees] You're a gold digger if your man needs to have a car "to be a real man".

It has nothing to do with your ex-lover not spending time with you. Here's the rub. The boyfriend impregnates the girl and then only comes to see the child [study shown Black estranged fathers spend more time with their children than any other racial group, including whites]. The Black girl then claims the Black man doesn't spend time with their kids [which I just showed you is false], but in reality is mad that he is not spending time with her. Let's call a spade a spade. First why would you spread your legs when you're not married. "oh that's old fashioned." But, it saves a lot of headache don't it? "but then you'd have rampant divorce" Black couples divorce less than white couples, so obviously it's not a problem in the community.

I would like to see Black women demand marriage before they go spreading their legs.

I would like to see Black men offering marriage and being ready for it, more often.

I would like to see Black couples coming together and getting married and growing financially. Just getting married boosts both individuals financially. I am willing to bet, 40% of all "Black issues" would disappear if more Black people got married.

I would like to see more and more and more and MORE Black businesses opened. We cannot survive as a community if we don't have our own businesses. The basis of any community in this day and age is business.

get married
have plenty of children
open up businesses
pay cash for everything [including house and car]

This is what I want to see Black people do.
