I usually try to avoid discussing what are fundamentally deeply personal choices which are outside the realm of this blog. However I think it is worth examining what I believe to be a growing problem which can effect our ability to reach our goals as Hustlers.

The problem is the inability to follow and cooperate. It seems that as our access to information grows, so does a false sense of independence. The fact is that any society that follows their leadership (voluntarily, or otherwise) stands a good chance of achieving their goals. So the problem isn't health care, economic issues, or immigration as much as a real lack of cooperation. We understand at work that the boss must retain the authority to lead. Even if we personally think she is running the business into the ground, we follow until the bosses above them make a change.

As hustlers we want the fastest and most direct route to our goals so we can move on to bigger ones. Often that means learning from others so we don't always begin from scratch. Let's face it- the only time we are likely to be the smartest guy in the room, is when we are in the bathroom. If it has a dual vanity even that's in jeopardy.

I know many people believe in a kind of social evolution - Everybody had to follow one guy, everybody chooses to follow one guy, and finally everyone thinks he is the guy to follow. As hustlers this is not an optimal way of thinking. Often the path is less travelled for good reason. There are universal laws involved which followed willingly aid our progress.

Find a mentor in the area you are hustling in and follow him or her. Learn to earn....then teach others and become the mentor. Next move on and get a new mentor to take you to the next level. In the area of general living you might consider following God if you don't already. Hard to go wrong there (of course you won't need to upgrade this mentor).

Following only your own counsel and going it alone is not a great idea. You might make progress and fly high for a while (visual: Karen Black, yoke in hand), but you will likely go down in flames. Trust me I know.

So to make progress the fastest, easiest way:

1 - Keep your eyes on the prize, not your ego.

2- Follow the paths others have found success in (Get a mentor).

3- Take the path of least resistance, as long as it still leads to your goal.

4- Measure all of your activity by the value you add to the deal - not immediate financial gain.

We are in it to make money not impress ourselves or others by becoming "special". Being a hustler is like being a writer. Put words on paper - Presto - you are a writer. Hustle and you are a hustler....simple as that.
So here is a way to start making money with ZERO cost.

#1 - Start out with a freebie site like MyFreeCashMachine, these type of sites pay you to refer others (just like I'm referring you) to them and you get paid when your referrals complete free trials like getting their credit report from Free Credit Report or other offer. It cost them nothing and they can refer others too.

You sign up for free and must sign up for a trial offer once in order to refer others. The reason I like MFCM is they have developed this into a true system. Once you join and complete your offer you will have access to your personal "back office" complete with pre-set auto responders, lead tracking, conversion statistics and capture pages. Don't worry if some of this is new, they also have a great and motivational training site.

The best way to get leads is through Craiglists/Backpage/USFreeAds advertisements and sending tweets/posts about the site using your referral URL. You can realistically expect to make about $15-$20 per hour that you do this. Let me be clear that I do not consider this anything more than a home based job since your income is so closely tied to the amount of work you do each day and the hourly return is comparable to working a job. However it's a great way to build up your hustle fund while proving to yourself that you can make money from home.

#2 - Now that you have some extra income please consider setting up a system to donate 10% of it to a charitable cause of your choice. I'm not saying.....I'm just saying.......

#3 - If you have read this blog before you know that I feel it's important for every Hustler to learn about (and be ready to take advantage of opportunities in) the stock exchanges. Now that you have a little hustle income consider opening a TradeKing or other brokerage account. Take like $50 bucks a month or whatever and deposit into the account.

It will be like a savings account until you decide to invest it. I personally feel that many perfectly good companies are cheap buys right now because of the economic condition of the country. Hustlers must always think positive and we can profit when things turn around. For more on this see my post on penny stock investing.

#4 - Time to level up in the hustle game. Do a little research to discover a real business hustle you'd like to start. Ideally this will be something closely related to something you have a talent for or interest in. I have always been a computer nut so online activities like developing websites, blogs, and affiliate marketing appeal to me. If you decide to hustle online please read The Affiliate Marketers Handbook (it's free!) by Ken Envoy. In my opinion it is THE word on the subject of making money online and after reading it you will know more than 90% of Internet marketers.

If marketing online is not for you use your fund to start a "brick and mortar" business from home like the used car sales or lawn care hustles we have posted about previously. Don't forget MLM (multi-level-marketing) which I feel is one of the greatest (and underrated) avenues to financial Independence today.

What ever you decide to pursue remember that as a Hustler you want to do more than provide yourself with a part time job. Your hustles need to be an avenue to making big, outrageous amounts of money. Maybe it will take some time but make sure that your goal is to be rich!

#5 - All that remains for you to do is keep going through good times and bad. Stay focused on your goal by reading positive books and blogs. Develop your own "news" channel using the tools like Google's RSS Reader and shut out the negative "news" from the papers and TV. Go on Oprahs' site and make yourself a dream board. Get some free motivation audio from sites like Learn Out Loud. - Do whatever it takes you to stay positive and motivated.

You often hear Hustlers mention staying (or being) on the "grind". Well that is actually a good description of how you will succeed....day by day....staying the course...being self directed and self motivated. It's not easy (I have had my share of set-backs) but that's why few people make it.

<strike></strike>Don't give up - ever. I encourage you to keep grinding everyday....

It's hard to let go of the rat race -even after realizing it as the slow death it is. This tendency is why it's so much easier for younger people to embrace the new economy, where we have to hustle to survive and hustle even harder to succeed. Even knowing the truth and promoting the lifestyle didn't stop my feelings of loss recently when I separated from my job after 11 years. Frankly, I have been crying over spilled milk that was long ago spoiled beyond all usefulness.

Strange how the Law of Attraction works without fail to bring us into what we really want and how often that very change seems like an unfair punishment or plain old bad luck. (If you doubt the Law of Attraction put it to any test you like - you'll come around).

I say all of this to say - I apologize for not providing value here recently and to let you know why. I have regained my perspective and bad attitude with the intention of becoming financially wealthy. A big part of that goal involves leaving clues for others (you?) to follow if they wish. Also since we are working towards the same goal I welcome any and all positive comments and suggestions. My next post will address ways to start (or restart) your hustling career from scratch (as I had to do last month). Thanks for helping me keep the faith!

On a lighter note- you may want to join the CNBC Million Dollar Challenge and have some practical Hustler fun for free with the possibility of winning a million bucks! I firmly believe that trading stocks or Forex should be part of a hustler's game plan.....so give it a try!

Then focus on upsizing it by by a factor of ten and you have a great part time income...... just like we Hustlers like it. Find something that turns a decent profit (makes you more net income than you can expect from a job) and is easily expanded. If you find you can make $25 a week posting one affiliate offer on Craigslist or selling something you by wholesale on ebay, then it's super easy to duplicate this success many times over. To grow these types of activities by a factor of ten will require very little actual effort on your part. You could even hire someone else to do the grunt work for you. Services such as YMII and eLance are worth so much in these types of situations. Closest thing to free money this side of the lottery. You can get a very competent assistant for as low as $6.98 per hour!

Do the math.........this leaves you only one goal. Find something that makes you money online. ClickBank is still the king in my book. Find a product you believe in ......(heck go ahead and buy it yourself!) and market it like crazy on Safelist and social media site like Facebook. The rest is simple..... refine it, and hand it off to your assistant to duplicate. Try any and all of the free tools and strategies easily accessed online. If you want to build a website based business under your own brand then take a look at the SiteSell site for some of the best (and free) training in the world.

With focus and a strong dose of determination you will find yourself making that first $100 in no time. If you are a high performance person (most Hustlers are) then you work while you are at work. You feel great when the company achieves and exceeds the goals set each year. If anyone on the team drops the ball, they know you'll pick it up.

This drive and effort often lands people with this hustle mentality in positions of increasing responsibility. This is where trouble can begin. Once it's clear that you will work extremely hard without regard to compensation or recognition, you are playing a suckers game. At some point doing the impossible will become part of your job performance goals and when you fall short you'll begin to receive raises very much like those of coworkers who are just punching the clock.

You are now at a crossroads.........

-You can keeping doing what you have been and likely burnout.
-You can move to another company and start the same process over (many people are successful using this tactic).
-Another solution is leveling down to match the effort of the "average" worker (who will be there long after those taking the previous options).

Or, you can take the prize behind door number 4............. Jump off the train and run for your life. This is not an easy choice, for many of us it was not a choice at all - we got pushed off :-)

Deciding to become a small business owner, consultant, or commissioned sales person has risks the water cooler crowd find unacceptable, but it's the only way a hustler can stay true to his nature and succeed. The only way to win is to play a different game, one that will challenge your spirit every day while allowing you to reap the rewards. Lovers love, teachers teach and hustlers hustle. Don't change yourself..... change the game.

As with most hustles this one will appeal to some more than others. If you like it this is a great time to start. This time of year many people are expecting income tax refunds and plan to buy a car. Because consumer confidence is still low and various credit issues many will buy outright with cash. This is where you come in. Many cars for sale by owner are perfectly good vehicles that have been replaced by newer ones. Do your research, buy a good used car for $1500 or so, clean it up, do minor repairs and flip it for $2500 more. Rinse and repeat. At the $1900 to $2500 price range you will attract buyers as soon as you list the car for sale. You might do 2 or 3 deals a month during tax season and scale down to 1 a month the rest of the year. Not a bad second income. In my state you can assign the car title over by signing the back, no bill of sale needed. To avoid mistakes and learn the business quickly check our recommended resource or you might work this hustle as an independent sales representative. You'll get paid to prospect for small car lots usually called "Buy Here, Pay Here" lots. Almost all of these businesses pay referral or finders fees. Develop a contact at H&R Block or Jackson Hewitt and have them pass potentials to you for a small finders fee of their own. You could just hang around the offices of these tax preparers and hand out business cards (get them super cheap from VistaPrint.com ). One car dealer in my town pays 20% of the gross profit on each sale discovered by their independent contractors. Check your local Craigslist or ask dealers directly. Remember Hustlers can't be shy :-)

Often however, we are working a full time job as well until we reach "job escape velocity". This requires us to be sacrifice most of our personal time to keep our hustles on track and find creative ways to get things done. To that end I would like to share some of the tools I use daily.

1) No surprise here, a smartphone. Can't live without it, from managing my daily To Do list, to posting content on my blogs to keeping updated on Twitter/Linkedin. My phone allows me to be productive anywhere. I use Android Apps to track everything from ClickBank sells to Adsense analytics (love the cash register sound when notified of a ClickBank sell).

2) Web based productivity tools. Many of the daily challenges we face boil down to performing task quickly and efficiently. A decent project management program cost nothing and when integrated with your calendar is a powerful tool. I currently use a program and app called Goals To Do. Break down your project into it's smallest pieces and you have tasks, schedule these and you are halfway there.

3) This is the big one: Other people's time. I know it may sound bad to refer to this as a tool, but this is why companies hire employees. They benefit from the efficiency gained when people work together. Frankly, I utilize my kids a lot. As teenagers it's simple to have them do research and time draining but critical task like submitting URL's to the search engines. Pay them a small amount and offer them profit sharing so they're less likely to slack off :-)

4) Wake up 1 hour earlier each day. Use the quite time to focus on moving your hustles forward. This one change will be life changing.
If you can get to bed early to make this happen -great. If not sleep less it's worth it.

We often forget that many people need the extra cash but currently lack the vision to work many of the hustles we offer here. So I am dialing things back a bit to offer some easy, low cost, brand recognizable hustles to get more people in the game.

Share Your Hustle readers might cringe at this but - yes, You Can Make Money With Amway and Avon!

Avon calling! How old is that phrase? Well over a hundred years. In fact, the Avon lady has been a cultural staple since the late 1800's. Long before facebook, twitter and article marketing, there have been companies like Avon and Amway that turned social networking into cold, hard, cash.

Is it still successful in this modern world? Absolutely. The power of the internet has certainly enhanced these companies, but building a home based business by selling household items and cosmetics continues to be driven by people and not the mouse pad. Trust, reputation and integrity are built through decades of customer satisfaction.

Becoming a sales representative for these respected companies is a simple as putting your social skills to work. Are you friendly? Do you have some friends? Start there. Your cash investment will be nearly zero and as sales come, and so will referrals. You'll be surprised.

The personal interaction, product demonstration and home delivery are the key elements that make these companies successful. Luckily, for men and women all over the world, these companies have opted not to change their success pattern and continue to offer paid commissions on the items you sell.

If you want to hustle up a little extra cash, this is a great way to do it. Before you know it, you'll have a network of loyal, repeat customers, anxiously awaiting the new product lines. Many sales representatives start out part-time, to pick up a little spending money. However, along with the brand name power, they are also offering high quality, reputable products that a customer can trust.

Word gets around, customers tell friends, relatives and neighbours about the great deals they found with you. (They might even tweet it.) Catalogues are shared at the office, referrals are given, more sales are made. Maybe you'll have five steady clients, maybe you'll have forty. It's really up to you.

In every city and town there are people who are currently selling Avon, Amway, Herbalife and Tupperware. They all make money, enjoy what they are doing and have made some good friends in the bargain.

Basically, each sale you make earns a profit for you. The more you sell, the more money you make. These are the companies that created social marketing. The viral effect is evident when someone you barely know asks you for a catalogue.

As with any hustle, you get what you put into it. You must be ready to tell people "I sell Amway!" (Or Avon, or Tupperware, or Mary Kay...) You must be willing to answer questions, and ask for the sale. Offer every catalogue with ambition, deliver every order with a smile. It's a lot like the Affiliate Marketing hustle we love so much here, but its low tech and face to face.

Don't limit your options to the companies listed here. There are many great choices and one is sure to be a perfect fit. Use this as a low risk way to join us hustlers in our quest for financial independence!

If you've got one or two hustles going, you know how fast the months of November and December can go. We have to guard our time carefully to ensure that we are always utilizing it to our best advantage. Vacations and family time aside, our hustles should always have first priority of our time. Plan each day to do at least one thing to advance your hustle.

As my readers already know I consider conditioning of the mind an important and critical part of our daily activity. I have listed in previous posts several free sources for the type of information, motivation and inspiration we need to focus on to the exclusion of all else. As with any profession Hustling requires some real sacrifices: Loss of most of the recreational time people spend on watching TV and other low return activities, often a loss of physical comforts like sleep, and a commitment to success. We have faith that in time the payoff will far exceed the investment....in spades!

With all this in mind I want to provide my take on defending the Hustler lifestyle:

1) Activity is king. Stay busy and you will see progress. See progress and you will stay busy.

2) Feed your mind thoughtfully. See my previous post about designing your personal news system, ebooks, and audio from online providers like LearnOutLoud.com .

3) Only inform those that need to know about your projects. Most people (especially family) will discourage you from taking even the small risk we advocate here. They want to protect you as we do children.....limiting your actions to the ultra safe.

4) Follow every success with an act of generosity. Not only does the sow/reap law operate flawlessly, this will also reinforce your desire for even bigger projects and successes.

5) Embrace change.Be willing to abandon projects once it becomes clear that they no longer compensate you for your efforts or if you find a better one to work. A real Hustler would expand this to every aspect of life but that's a personal decision we won't discuss here :-)

I'll end as I often do, by imploring you to continuously search for your next (or first) Hustle and invest a small amount of money along with a lot of time. Invest yourself and reap the profits!

I have written about some great products that can help the newbie get started but now I'd like to share some resources for hustlers already in the game. I truly believe that the successful person must control the type of information they expose their mind (and more importantly their subconscious) to on a daily basis. Audio books and news aggregators are powerful tools to accomplish this and I hope you take advantage of them. Today I want to highlight the ways Podcasts can help the hustler. The true hustler works his craft in every spare minute he has. In fact the ability to utilize your "free" time will be the number one factor in your success. To that end you may want to use your iPod, Smart Phone or other Mp3 device to listen to some of the many Podcasts related to your hustle. For instance, if you are onto affiliate marketing see www.WebmasterRadio.fm for all the information you need to be on the top of your game. Besides the industry specific episodes there are many which focus on other helpful areas such as motivation, tools for success and spirituality which can help keep a hustler positive and focused.
Working this hustle on a part time basis along side of other projects is an ideal way to start.

In simple terms, being an affiliate means you sell other people's products and services and get a commission on each sale. There are many benefits to running affiliate websites. Here are a few of them:

There are thousands of well-known companies offering affiliate memberships to people just like you. If you have a particular passion for something, chances are good you can work in that niche market as an affiliate. If you don't have a passion for anything in particular, you can choose several products in different areas and market them all.

Many parent companies (the companies that own the products you are selling) will give you, free of charge, complete websites to use for your marketing. These websites are professionally designed and most have been tested, in terms of buyer reaction. What this means is you do not have to learn HTML coding in order to get set up. That work has already been done for you.

If you already have or want to set-up your own sites, using one of the large affiliate management companies is the way to go. My favorites are Commission Junction and Flex Offers. Once you register you’ll have access to a great selection of products and services to promote. They provide the text and banners to add to your site.

When you need to hustle up some extra cash from home, the less work you have to do, the better. Most parent companies will handle the money transactions for you. If someone decides to buy from affiliate website, they are automatically sent to the parent company's e-commerce page where they fill in their credit card information. The parent company takes care of processing the credit card and shipping the order. If you are a complete newbie to all of this, check out Affiliate Genie. It's a great product to get you in the money quickly and painlessly.

Lastly, you can run as many affiliate websites as you want. If you want to run one, fine. If you want to run a dozen or more, that is fine too. It is all up to you, and you can do this in your spare time, evenings or weekends.

Most parent companies do not charge you anything to become an affiliate, but you will need a reliable Internet connection and a computer. You will also need to have an account with a hosting company (this is where you upload your files for your websites).

If you want to work from home, and you want to hustle up some cash in your spare time, running affiliate websites may be exactly what you are looking for. As always, if this Hustle appeals to you START TODAY. If not keep searching until you too become a Hustler!

In fairness, it should be noted that this type of work is not for everyone. But for those who are willing and able, it can lead to some very good profits for part-time work.

If you want to hustle up money from home as a freelance pest control vendor, you will need to do some research first. Here are some guidelines to help get you started:

Depending on where you live, you may or may not need to get a business license. In some locales, you may need to be registered as you will be dispensing chemicals into the environment.

You will need to study the different types of pests that are common to your area and learn the best methods for exterminating them. If you have (or can get) experience working for one of the large pest control companies –so much the better. Also much of this information you can find online.

Once you know the types of pests you will encounter, you will need to secure a supplier for your pesticides. In many areas, a farmer's co-op is a good option for supplies. You can also get many of your supplies online, wholesale.

After you have all the logistics in place, you can place ads in the paper. You may want to run a "special offer" at first which will help you get some customers fast. Most people want to get rid of their pests, but do not want to pay a lot of money for it. Use that to your advantage.

Because you will have far less overhead than nationally known pest control vendors, you can price your services below them and still make a very good profit.

One of the best ways to hustle up some extra cash in this business is to offer your customers a recurring contract. This simply means you will come back once a month (or two) and reapply the chemicals to ensure they never have a pest problem again! The business principle: it is easier to keep a customer than it is to get a new one, certainly applies to pest control, and it is one way to simplify your plan to hustle up some extra cash from home.

Many of us are these days. One way to earn extra cash is by selling used cars, right from your own home. Here are some tips on how you can hustle up some extra cash through used car sales.
With the economy the way it is many people are looking for reliable automobiles but cannot afford to buy new. The answer to this problem is they often buy used cars. This can be a great source of income and you can do it from home.

You will need to find used cars and trucks that you can buy wholesale or at a very low price. For those just starting out in this home business, try to get a good running, attractive car that you can spruce up a bit for added profits. Some things to keep in mind:

The vehicles you buy should not be wrecked or have been involved in a serious wreck in the past. The exception to this is if you are good with repairs and can do the work yourself.

Make sure the paperwork, such as vehicle registration and title, is in order before you buy. When you are trying to hustle up some extra cash the last thing you need is a paperwork nightmare.

If possible, take a mechanic with you to inspect the vehicle before you buy. This one step can save you a lot of money in the long run.

Once you take ownership of the vehicle, wash it, wax it, and clean the interior. Put an air freshener inside as well. The fragrance "New Car" is good choice.

You will need to advertise the vehicle and a good, affordable way to do that is with your local newspaper.

Price your vehicle a little on the high side. This will give you some room to negotiate with potential buyers. Do not price it too high, however, or you may not get any responses to your ad.

A great way to increase the enjoyment of your new venture is to "specialize" older classic vehicles. You can often get these for an extremely low price and sell it to a lover of old cars at a great profit.

When you are trying to hustle some extra money it is important that you get paid, so insist on cash or money orders as payment. You don't want to be considered a "dealership" by your local authorities so limit your activity to two or three used car sales each month.

As always the #1 thing to do now is: Take Action! If you want to maximize your business check out the Used Car Success e-book.

Put these tips to work for you, and before you know it, you will be able to hustle up some easy money from home as often as you wish.

Want to make money and control your financial destiny? Or just wish you could earn some extra cash from home, perhaps on weekends? Running your own lawn care service may be just the job you need. It is a great way to hustle up some cash and it can be done from your home.

Many homeowners and property owners simply do not have the time to care for their lawns. That being the case, they will often hire someone to do it for them. That person could be you!

You will need a few things in order to be truly successful in this type of work. The good news is you may already have everything you need. Here is a short list of items you will probably want to have on hand:

Lawn mowers—Riding and push

String Cutter—aka Weed Eater

Hand tools—Rake, broom, etc

Gas Cans

Means of transporting your tools and mowers

When you are trying to hustle up some extra money through lawn care, you have to get the word out that you are open for business. You can use word of mouth, which costs nothing, but you can also put a small ad in your local paper.

While most municipalities will not require you to have a business license for this type of part-time work, it is always best to check first. Most business licenses for lawn work are inexpensive and easy to get.

There are two common mistakes people often make when they are trying to hustle up some cash with their lawn care service. The first mistake is they over-bid the job. The second mistake is they under-bid the job.

Before you do anything, you should research the prevailing prices for lawn care work in your area. You can check in the papers or even call a few of those who are currently doing this type of work to get estimates from them.

Once you have a range of prices, you can set your price and have confidence that you are, at least, in the ballpark when it comes to charging for your services.
One of the best ways to ensure that you stay as busy as you want to be is to do good work. People often talk about their lawn care service and will be inclined to recommend you if you are good. When it comes to hustling up some extra cash, word of mouth advertising is priceless.

If you want to practically guarantee the success of your enterprise check out the links in this article. They are to a great resource I recommended to my son when he decided to start getting serious about turning his quick money lawn care hustle into a real business.

Most of all, if you think this is the Hustle for you, take action! If not read a few of the older post....you might find the hustle for you!

After giving him my spiel about how Hustling up money is the best hobby a person can have in this economy, I waited (and I might add -not in vain) for the usual list of reasons I get from people who need extra money but "don't have extra time" or "don't have any extra money to invest". These excuses keep so many people away from even trying one of the many ways to hustle up money we've listed over the years. You can make good money with a very small investment in any one of them. Of course a true Hustler will work more than one at all times!

Take the penny stock hustle, even though the market has stalled out a bit lately and my stocks are moving sideways, I am still building value in my financial life. I purchased these shares with little more than the money I previously used to play the state lottery. Even if the market never fully recovers I'll still have more money than I invested and the hunt for good penny stocks is fun and educational. My Zecco and Trade King accounts provide a wealth of free training about stocks and options. Now CNBC is one of my favorite channels and I can talk the talk with my IRA adviser as well as understand our economic challenges.

For even less money the office cleaning hustle can bring a steady part-time income and the potential to grow into a full time business. I want to clearly state that I haven't personally worked this hustle but a friend of mine has been doing it for about 18 months. His wife works with him and I think that has helped him make even more money. His total investment was less than $300. Basically this hustle is a lot like the affiliate hustle I love so much. The main investment is your time and the result is practically guaranteed if your invest enough time a learn as you go along. So with that back drop here are my 3 favorite hustles:

1) Penny stocks! Check out Zecco or Trade King and open your account with $25 bucks or something. Do some research on PinkSheets.com or my soon to be started....long awaited BlueCollarStocks.com. Invest more when you can and your working it!

2)Affiliate marketing via targeted websites. You may remember I've used SBI to build a couple of these sites and I highly recommend them! Study their free Affiliate Master Course. You will have to put time and energy into learning about web marketing but you will be amazed at how different your view of the Internet will be after you become an insider.

3) The previously mentioned office cleaning hustle. I like the low overhead and the fact that people who my not use computers all day (like I do) can still find success hustling.

That's the Big Three (currently) and I hope you will pick one you might like to pursue. Our economy needs all the Hustlers we can get. Join us!
After moving to a new state things haven't exactly fallen into place as I planned. The intended outcome was to vastly expand the ways I hustle up money (and in the process make a bunch of cash) but life has a way of throwing you a few curve balls when least expected.

My stock market hustle has ground to a halt during the transition and my other projects have suffered as well. Seems all boats do rise and fall together so it's time to do what we as Hustlers do in this case: Take Massive Action (TMA as Tony Robbins puts it). The first step I take when TMA is to upgrade or step-up my daily dose of self education and motivation. If you've read this blog before you know how important I think monitoring what you see and hear each day is. After performing my daily affirmations I watched Jon Kabat-Zinn: Coming to Our Senses and read an e-book on eZine marketing by Charlie Page.

The other part of my TMA plan I worked today is signing up as an Affiliate for a product I have used and feel good about promoting. One thing is still true in web promotions: Hard work in niche areas you are comfortable in can pay off nicely. There are many great books and sites about affiliate marketing and if you read one I think you'll agree that it is almost as good a way to hustle up money as penny stocks.

So there it is, and there you have it........I've Regrouped.

Rejoice! I have returned from the dead. Well actually I have returned to the blog-o-phere from the everyday activity which is the bane of the true Hustler. Yes! I have been too busy, too ensnared in the "making a living" trap to do the things that actually make life worthwhile....like spending time with you dear reader. How does this happen....how could I let this happen! All I can say is it's still hard out there for us Hustlers, trying so hard to make a dollar out of.........well you know the rest. At any rate I have finally regained my hope, my zeal for the life beyond the ordinary. Hopefully I haven't lost you completely and you will give me the benefit of of your understanding.

As for me- I am once again on the prowl for a new way to make some money on the Internet in my spare time. The launch of my blog "BlueCollarStocks.com" is now my primary focus and I hope we can both use it to make some easy hustler cash. Dispite being slack with this blog, I have still been active in my favorite field of hustling: Penny Stocks. As you know so many perfectly good companies have fallen into this catagory lately and it is still an environment we can make a killing in. In fact we are now THE driving force in the market in many ways. The established vectors into the market are all in a protectionist mode right now and this leaves a great void for us to fill. We are in a position to both profit and help stabilize this economy by exercising our hustler mentality. Our endless optimism for capital creation the old fashioned way: taking a little money and a lot of action. These things we can all do, but most of us don't. This is our edge in this battle for financial success- we risk when the "smart" money is on security.
So I hope you will come over to the new blog next week and take a look at my first picks of 2010, do your own research and then take the action to make this the best Hustler year ever!

See you there!

I use a combination of fundamental and technical analysis and have developed a certain level of skill which has allowed me to make some very profitable trades. I really enjoy learning about various companies and forecasting their short-term prospects. So much so that I'm launching yet another blog called - BlueCollarStocks.com- which will focus on one stock each week that I feel has the potential to return outsized gains within the next 2 to 6 weeks. I hope to have BCS online by July 1st but until then my current pick is IGNT.PK which is trading around 0.0110 and would be a great stock to add to your hustle portfolio. Back in May I recommended SPNG.OB to the readers of this blog at .0216 per share and it hit .280 earlier this month, each $100 would have fetched you a nice $1296. Now that's hustling up some money. If you're new to all this and need to sign up with an inexpensive but professional broker, my recommendation has changed from Zecco (which has raised the minimum account balance to receive the best benefits) to TradeKing which is the first brokage I ever used because of the $4.95 flat commision. You can start your account with any amount and build it on a monthly basis.
As for this blog, I will continue to investigate any and every money making opportunity that cost little to start and can be operated on an extremely part-time basis. Hope you are taking care of business and keeping a postive attitude.......keep up your hustle!

I will come out of this in a better position, but some people will really clean-up such as people who recently became real estate investors. When I look at some of the bargains in the housing market today, I am amazed that people are still so cautious about buying their first home. Not to mention the tax credit! If your a true hustler and fit in this category, your main focus should be to acquire one of these properties.

As for me, I have focused my efforts in order to make the most of the opportunities this economy offers. My main hustle now is the varied stock markets I invest in using my Zecco account. The Forex hustle was very promising, but a recent rule change prohibiting "hedging" has moved this activity too close to outright gambling for me. If you are into the stock game too, check-out my current favorite penny stock: SPNG - as of today they are trading at .0216 and have a great marketing program designed to make the company a household word. To be honest you can hardly go wrong investing in the market today. As long as the company fills a need and you believe they will be in business five years from now, you'll likely make money.

At any rate, my main message is to stay positive and active as a hustler but limit the number of projects you undertake until the monetary system recovers fully. Become a specialist in those areas and your success is practically guaranteed.

Yes- I've been hit hard in my, shall we say - "hustles" by this gloomy atmosphere, most notably my stock portfolio is down big-time. Of course this isn't so bad because I can afford so many more good companies these days and I hope their stock values will bounce up with the recovery.

The main thing I feel now is a sense of urgency to get myself in position to benefit before the end of this coming summer. If you're looking to buy a house or car this is a great time.....this goes for us hustlers too. Many people are looking to save money and will give your service or product a try if it's good quality and cheaper than their current supplier. I mean even the big customers that wouldn't normally let you in the door are open to change. These customers can be acquired now during the downturn and if serviced right will stay customers long after the economy has recovered. One place to look is selling to the Government. Thousands of purchasing cards are in the hands of these workers and if your product or service cost less than $2500 they need no approval or bidding process to do business with you. These selling opportunities aren't advertised so you'll have to do some research, but if you're selling something they need at the "office" level you could get an excellent customer who will always pay on time.

Just some thoughts on what promises to be a heck of a year to be a Hustler. Remember we are stronger working together, so if you can partner on some projects with other hustlers do so. I'm hooking up with some of my co-workers that run a concession stand on the side. Any time they need a third man/investor to service a large gathering, I'll pick up the extra hustle bucks! -Of course.

Since my stock market hustle has stalled out right along with the economy, I am allocating most of my trading capital to my Forex account. I thought learning to trade stocks was fun, but this is so much more intense. The Forex market trades 24 hours a day, 5 days a week and half the fun is watching your profit (or loss) change in real-time, second by second. It only takes $25 to start an account, but I recommend learning with a free demo account first. You'll use imaginary money but everything else is real. By using the demo account and watching the free educational videos you'll become comfortable enough to open your real account. I currently use FXCM as my broker because of their excellent trading platform and the low $25 initial deposit. They take Visa/Master cards as well as other forms of deposit, so you can jump on a trade pretty quickly if the timing seems right. As the educational resources will tell you: always place a stop loss order when you open a position and you can manage the risk involved. Since these accounts allow a pretty high rate of leverage, each $1 can control up to $400 during a trade, money management is a key skill to learn. Of course Hustlers like leveraging money, it's one of the golden rules of hustling. I know this seems like a white collar hustle but check out the free training, open a demo account and you'll agree that you can hustle up some good money if you stick to the trading strategy you formulate as you learn. Here's a link to a video showing how to trade directly from the FXCM trading station charts: https://admin.acrobat.com/_a205571165/p10381296/

Along with keeping a position in the stock market, this should be one of the online hustles you consider as a long term - high potential hobby.

Maybe it's the way I was raised. My family was very pro small business. I remember working at our family business at the age of five or six and both of my parents had sideline businesses outside of their regular jobs. It seemed to me that America was blessed by God and we had a system that was built upon the strength of each person working to improve his life.

I was a true believer. The first clue I had of how fragile our nation is came with the 9/11 attacks and the resulting economic ramifications. Evidence continued to mount with the Hurricane Katrina response and eventually forced me to face the truth with this latest disaster. I now realize that our country has become a victim of what I call the Management Mentality. We manage things that should be unacceptable or things that can't be managed. "That lady they attacked was in the wrong place, she should have known better or locked her doors". "Of course they took your money and gave you a bad deal, that's what companies do". Thinking like this causes a slow but steady degradation of society. People who commit horrible crimes are sick or evil.......period. We need people who run companies to be responsible for the welfare of their employees and customers. Teachers for their students, parents for their children.

I know that this thinking is thought to be a way to control people that don't fit in a neat little "family values" lifestyle, but what's the alternative? We as Hustlers depend on directing our time, money and energy at activities designed to create value for others which result in profits for ourselves. We don't necessarily need a level playing field, but we need SOME kind of field to play on. Right now too many people are afraid to play the game. Trying to manage areas best left to faith or chance.

"If you can't take a little bloody nose, maybe you oughtta go back home and crawl under your bed. It's not safe out here. It's wondrous, with treasures to satiate desires both subtle and gross; but it's not for the timid." -- Q (Star Trek)

Hustlers, don't sit on the sidelines, we know when you play you might loose some games. But those that never play, never win.

Sorry for this "dark" post. I am usually a very positive person, but it seems like so many people are confusing opportunity with risk these days................makes it hard to hustle!

The one I really love is marketing on the web. The potential is unlimited and the financial investment is very small. The downside is the huge learning curve that can discourage even the most motivated hustler. I've tried to present the SBI program as a easier way to develop a web presence while simultaneously learning almost all you'll ever need to know about marketing on the web. Problem is that even this excellent program can't guarantee success. You'll have to work at it (mostly by reading and thinking) until you learn enough to make the right decisions for your business.

I challenge you to do that work! Grab a copy of The Affiliates Master Course for free. Skim through it and you'll realize that if you study it you'll know more than many of the people making a living on the web today. I guarantee it. Plus-did I mention- it's free! Of course SBI hopes that you'll use your new found knowledge and pick them to build your business with (I did), but you'll be able to make that decision with confidence when the time comes. You'll be ready to hustle money online!

This, I admit, is very disappointing because I am determined to achieve financial independence by the end for 2009. Some of the motivators would say I have purposed or set an intention in motion. These intentions, if strong enough, will take us though so many of the inevitable roadblocks any positive forward motion will face. So as we all make our resolutions and plans for the coming year, I hope that you have a powerful purpose for your life. A desire that will buffer you from these economic headwinds. I have decided to pare away some of my non-core activities and focus on the ones that I enjoy most. Right now it's more important than ever for hustlers like us to focus on enjoying the journey and not sacrifice today for some perfect tomorrow.

Please re-read my post on the tools I use to keep myself motivated if you don't have a strong point of focus. I especially recommend the site ToolsToLife.com -the programs they offer are free and will make a positive impact on your life.

One of the important activities I'm focusing on is Blogging. I really enjoy getting my thoughts out where they can be shared with others. It helps me stay on track. So expect more frequent post this year.....a little feedback would be welcome as well :-)

Looking forward to the best year ever...............

My extended family opted out of our traditional dinner for various reasons, most of which boil down to a general sense of uneasiness generated by the current economic downturn. This is of course, the opposite feeling this holiday is meant to celebrate. We are to focus on all the many blessings we have......not on perceived losses.

So, in this spirit I want to list some of the things I'm grateful for that relate to Hustling:

First, I am encouraged by the hustle shown by some of the readers of this blog that I know personally. Several of them have implemented the stock market hustle that I feel is a great opportunity for us right now. They have made some money and hopefully will add one of the other hustles as they see the benefits of hustling.

Secondly, the multiple streams of income activities I have been developing are all moving forward nicely. I listed them in a previous post and all are designed to make me a little money, from $300 to $800 per month, but taken as a group should easily double my current income by February of 2009. The most exciting part is the stability of having several small hustles working for me 24-7.

Finally my biggest hustle related blessing is writing this blog. I have been able to share my thoughts with others but most of all I can clarify my own thinking in this important area of life.

So, I'm having a toast to the many blessings we all share and the promise the future holds for every hustler. As always, feel free to send me your thoughts via email.

And if you haven't gotten your hustle game off the ground, review the previous 2 or 3 posts. Grab an idea and run with it. You'll be glad you did..........

P.S.- I know that I planned to post a few more interviews of successful hustlers and I have 5 or 6 already lined-up. So look for these soon!-----Happy Thanksgiving.....Hustlers!
