The color yellow is not exactly popular in web design field, but a few sites use that particular color to stand out against the rest. The visibility and hence the memorability of a site can already be influenced by the color scheme and can thus make things work for the client or the respective designers paid off handsomely.

So why is the use of yellow in a web design so unpopular? Perhaps it is because of the possible combinations, as yellow can be combined with relatively few colors. However, just the combinations that work well with yellow really very effective and clearly show with what options you can set yourself apart from its competitors.
