Intel has planned to release their cheap and durable laptop named as Classmate, mainly targeting students. As Intel had already released Classmate tablet, which comes with an 8.9 inch touchpanel display, 1.6GHz Atom processor, wifi, 1GB RAM and a 60GB harddisk. It weights only under three pounds with a day long battery life.

Classmate laptops features with a quick launch panel which has been optimized to use with the touchscreen. Added advantages are Big icons and touch friendly elements. There is a dedicated button to bring up the quick launch screen when the Classmate is folded into tablet mode.

Today we will see about the new G1 Google Android mobile phone... This is a great release from Google which has a well spaced QWERTY keyboard with a wide boy structure. Keypads are hidden behind the sidebar; in the front panel of the phone it has five buttons for default operations like call, shortcuts and main navigation. Track ball is placed well at the middle, which make it very easy scroll over a long list of contacts and playlists. And the special part of this mobile phone is that it uses a new OS, since we are only familiar with symbian,windows,palms operating system's. Everyday there are new products and new technologies are being invented... A Korean designer named "joonhuyn kim" has designed a new kind of bulb named 'flat bulb'. Unlike other ordinary bulbs, it is just 1/3rd of the size with equal power. This slim shaped bulb helps to reduce the costs taken for packaging and transports. This type of bulbs can be prevented from breakage during shipping, as it does not roll. Currently the work was on display in Tokyo and there is no announcement whether this concept will go into production.

Digital Pen is the latest technical product from MAC, which aims to transmit the written data to the MAC PC via Bluetooth. When we write some data on a special paper it records the data in it's built-in storage. The stored data can be then be uploaded to the Mac PC using a wireless Bluetooth connection. Apart from this, it has a tiny built-in camera which aids us in the process of uploading. And this device has also got a good power backup as its internal battery can withstand for about 2 hours. LG has now released their new brand handset called LG Renoir; it is a slim mobile phone with full touch screen display and a superb 8 megapixel camera. Since the release of Smasung's M8800, LG had planned introduce a new handset that will compete it. LG's 8 megapixel camera features a Schneider-Kreuznach certified optics with a Xenon flash; both auto and manual focus are possible. The attracted feature is the "Touch Shot", which will help photographers to focus on any objects by simply touching it on the screen, and LG is the first company to introduce this feature in a mobile phone.

Some of the other features include 3G HSDPA support, Wi-Fi connectivity and the A-GPS capability which help to gain access to online maps. LG Renoir will be released next month; we have to wait to see if this whole lot feature embedded mobile phone satisfies the customers.

Sony's Latest OLED TV

It’s going to be "OLED" (Organic light-emitting diode) technology for future screens and TV’s. OLED is a flat panel display which uses an organic material that emits its own light, thus need of backlight is been avoided which in turn gives a thinner displays. While comparing with other monitors of this kind, OLED displays consume very less power with better color reproduction and fast moving images.

Sony a big giant in electronic goods, has unveiled a prototype of its latest OLED TV, which is less than one millimeter thin (1/10th the thickness of its LCD). The TV is measured just 0.9mm based on a prototype 0.3mm screen and it’s an "11 inch set". Sony's has already released its first OLED TV, XEL-1 on 2007. Officials said that they still faces production problems in making larger screens, maybe we need to wait a bit for the release.

Hitachi's Wireless Camcorder!!!

Hitachi has now released a new camcorder series which doesn't need of any cord between the camera and receiver. A prototype of this camcorder is been demonstrated at CEDIA this week, the officials said that it can stream a HD video to a TV display wirelessly.

The Wooo was able to use Advanced Video Codec High Definition video and stread it across an IEEE802.11g standard. Camera will be using two separate servers to stream live and recorded video. For live video Hitachi's IPTV is used to deliver the signals to the HDTV, for streaming prerecorded video we need to switch to Hitachi's DLNA server. Now, we can simply press play and place the camera on top of the TV, without messing on connecting with cords.

It's been just a year after Nokia unveiled its supermodel phone N-95, which turned everyone's attentions towards it due to the number of features and functions it had. And before few months Nokia again released their revised version of N-95 with 8GB of internal flash memory. But nothing stopped Nokia from leading to its successor release of Nokia N96. It was first showed to the public earlier this year at MWC (Mobile World Congress) in Barcelona.

I think the main aspect in releasing this phone is to attract iPhone users. We must admit that Nokia N96 has lots of features while compared with iPhone's. Some of the highlighted features of N96 are:

As we know Microsoft has already announced its release of Blue Track mouse, now they announce "SideWinder X8" a new range mouse for gaming.

This new released X8 mouse can be customized through the seven programmable buttons, changeable mouse feet, macro record button and dpi switching. X8 mouse uses a new Blue Track technology, which offers image processing of 13,000 frames/second.

Microsoft assures that this Blue Track technology will offer greater accuracy over laser on different surfaces. The X8 uses 2.4 GHz wireless radio frequency, the dpi settings and macro icons is shown on the LCD of the mouse.
