I am not a person who gets too engrossed and serious.
But I cant stop thinking about the delhi girl.
I am neither her relative.
Nor her state.
But I can't stop thinking about the delhi girl.
I know she is now bleeding.
I know we failed in upkeeping her dignity, her birthright.
I can't stop thinking about the delhi girl.
Who were these many men.
Who travelled with her in the bus.
They raped her innocence and left her stark naked.
I can't stop thinking about the delhi girl.
Would she be crying now.
Would she be brave.
Would she be waiting impatiently
To reach her grave.
Would we allow her a decent life.
Would we not kill her again after being killed once.
O! I can't stop thinking about the delhi girl.
Would she be hungry.
Would her pain be less.
Would her parents be beside her.

For a better understanding on Anti-Martingale system, it is important to understand the Martingale system.

The Martingale system has long been used by people as a way to try to beat the system and win a fortune. It is actually very simple to follow and while you can’t use this system in the real world casinos practically. And, in theory, yes it works.

If you spend any time looking at betting strategies for black jacks, blue ladders, then chances are that you may come across the martingale system or renamed version of it. The martingale system is one of the most popular betting systems available. It is majorly tried by beginners. So there are mixed opinions on its viability. The real question is whether it really works or not. So, let us discuss on the merits and shortfalls of this system. To start off, let us discuss the basic concept behind the martingale system.

Let’s understand through example below;

Now, in this system, if you win a bet, bet the same again in the following round. And, if you lose, bet double your last bet again in the following round. This will ensure that you hedge your losses and keep your winnings. This is not as simple as described. It has some major assumptions which are actually the shortfalls of martingale system which are as follows;

Assumptions are;

1. The player has unlimited bank roll and the table limits are high enough to afford the streak of losses. Think about it this way; suppose the player lose 1 and bet double $20. Similarly, when he loses 2 and bet double $ 40. And, then, again, when he loses 3 and bet double $ 80 and so on. This means you have already spent “X amount” and now need to spend another “X amount” to stay in the game. That’s why martingale system is the reason for most of the failures in the game. Players run out of money before they could actually win indefinable amount.

2. And, the second assumption is that the table limits are high enough for the player to afford streak of losses. This means if you have that x amount to put into the game, table may not allow putting in on the basis of table limits. That means you have to move to a bigger table to play more.

3. And the last most dangerous assumption is that the table limits can cripple your strategy by breaking the flow of sequential process

In truth this Martingale system actually works, but in practical situations, it is a costly affair. So, the player needs to play smart.

Anti-Martingale system is one of popular method of betting these days. It is actually reverse of the Martingale system. In Anti martingale system, the players/ gamblers increases bet after wins and reduces them after the loss. This approach is based upon the fact that the player/ gambler will benefit from a winning streak while reduces losses having a losing streak. However, this theory fails because each event occurs independently of earlier events happened.On comparing both the systems, it has been found that anti-martingale system is less risky as it offers less opportunity for the players to get back their losses. And, on the other side the traditional system is risky and rewarding.

Q4. What is the difference between Incorporation of a company and setting up of a business of a company?

Ans. Incorporation of the company is related to the registering the company as per Companies Act, 1956, according to the needs of the client. While setting up of a business is a wider term which includes pre incorporation (making business idea and plan), Incorporation and execution of business plans post incorporation.

Complete Business Set up package includes all the activities right from establishment of business entity till the completion of all necessary post set-up activities

Q5. What are the responsibilities of an employee in a consultancy company?

Ans. My answer is more from a relatively new consultant (<1 year in consulting set-up) standpoint:

1. Gather information: Each employee must be familiar with the professional standards, company’s policies and external information that apply to his or her specific job function / is required to carry out the critical parts of the job. This includes participating in appropriate training sessions, taking the time to read, seeking further information and consulting with others when necessary

2. Client Request Process Management: Be a part of a client team starting with understanding of client needs to research; designing the solution offering for the client to syndicating with the senior leaders (internal) until the solution is finally communicated to the client

3. Surface the Issues: Employee must speak up if something does not seem right. He/She should direct his/her concerns to the appropriate resource in firm and offer suggestions for improvement

4. Client Relationship Management: Having known the client – it’s important to develop and further strengthen the relationship for future engagements with the client. So, one should be pro-active in doing that

Q6. How do you predict the role of social networking sites in business development of a consultancy company?

Ans. Social Networking sites are essential tools in the growth of businesses of a consultancy company as it manages the professional identity, helps in building and engaging within the professional network. It helps accessing knowledge, insights and business opportunities

Q7. Whether Consultancy Company should adopt the policy of “Client is God “or should dictate its own terms on client?

Ans. Answer to this Question is two-fold.

First part is understanding the clients’ needs (complex business challenges/ problems)

Second fold is the multi disciplinary approach with deep practical study with the clients jointly to work on the drivers of the challenges faced by him/her and then, develop a solution for the client

Neither of the above policies be followed independently. Consultancy firms working with the clients jointly should understand and appreciate the value of each other. Firm’s absolute commitment to their professional independence and integrity would definitely help maintain credibility with the clients

Q8. Express your strength in detail as a professional and how you will be able to prove yourself as a growing tree of the firm?

Ans.

1. Team Player:

I find myself a strong team player to be fitted in each line to contribute significantly to the team’s output

Payment confirmation is found to be a major bottleneck in delivery of services in respect of offline payment made by physical challans. b. Delay in confirmation of payments by physical challans, as banks have been given a reporting time of ‘T’+3 days c. This leads to delay in creation of work item for disposal of an application/e-form, leading to inconvenience of stakeholders. d. If the fees is paid online, the work item is created faster and thereby speedy approvals by banks as banks are following’ T’+1 for reporting online payments.
	Decision taken		a. To accept payments of value upto Rs.50,000, for MCA 21 services ,only in electronic mode w.e.f 27th March, 2011. b. For the payments of value above Rs. 50,000, stakeholders would have the option to either make the payment in electronic mode, or paper challan. However such payments would also be made in electronic mode w.e.f .1st October’2011.
2	General Circular No:6/2011 - dated 08.03.2011	Process of incorporation of Companies (Form-1) and establishment of principal place of business in India by Foreign Companies (Form-44) – Procedure simplified.	REGISTRATION OF FORM-1 AND FORM-44 Below mentioned procedure has been recommended to speed up and simplify the process of incorporation of Companies and establishment of principal place of business in india by foreign companies: 1. Only Form-1 shall be approved by the RoC Office. Form 18 and 32 shall be processed by the system online. 2. There shall be one more category, i.e., Incorporation Forms ( Form 1A, Form 37, 39, 44 and 68) which will have the highest priority for approval. 3. Average time taken for incorporation of company reduced to one (1) day only
3	General Circular No:4/2011 - dated 04.03.2011	Payment of Commission to Non-Whole Time Directors of the Company under Section 309(4)(b) of the Companies Act, 1956	Companies are making applications to the Central Government for payment of remuneration in the form of commission to their Non whole Time Director(s) even when the total commission to be paid to all the Non Whole Time Director(s) taken together falls within the limit of ; a. 1% of net profit of the company, if the company has WTD/MD b. 3% of net profit of the company, in any other case under Section 198 of the Act in addition to sitting fees.
	Decision taken		A company shall not require CG Approval for making payment of remuneration by way of commission to its Non WTD in addition to sitting fees if the total commission to be paid to all Non WTD does not exceed the limits of 1% or 3% mentioned above.
4	General Circular No:5/2011 - dated 04.03.2011	Simplification of DIN rules	Re-examination of the process of allotment of Directors Identification Number (DIN) to be obtained u/s 266B of the companies Act, 1956 In order to speed up and simplify the process to obtain a DIN, the below mentioned procedure have been recommended: 1. Application for DIN will be made on eForm ; No physical submission of documents shall be accepted and for this purpose Scanned documents along with verification by the applicant will be attached with the eForm. Only online fee payment will be allowed i.e. No challan payment 2. The application can also be submitted online by the applicant himself using his DSC. 3. DIN 1 eForm can be digitally signed by the professional who shall also confirm that he has verified the particulars of the Applicant given in the application. 4. Where the DIN 1 is verified by the professional, the DIN will be approved by the system immediately online. 5. In other cases the DIN cell will examine the application and same shall be disposed of within one or two days. 6. Companies (Directors Identification Number) Rules, 2006 are being amended on the above lines. 7. Penal action against the applicant and professional certifying the DIN application in case of false information / certification as per provisions of section 628 of the Act will be taken in addition to action for professional misconduct and revocation of DIN, allotted on false information 8. The above procedure is expected to enable allotment of DIN on the same day. 9. The above procedure applies to filing of DIN 4 intimating changes in particulars of Directors.

The Company Secretary of an organization occupy a central place in developing such a culture which underlines CSR values and competencies. At present, there is a need to explore the engagement of human resource management professionals in undertaking Corporate Social Responsibility. It also suggests Human Resource Management to take a leading role in encouraging CSR activities at all levels. The combined impact of CSR and human resource activities, which reinforce desirable behavior, can make a major contribution in creating long term success in organizations.

There has been a sea change in the nature of the triangular relationship between companies, the state and the society. No longer can firms continue to act as independent entities regardless of the interest of the general public. The evolution of the relationship between companies and society has been one of slow transformation from a philanthropic coexistence to one where the mutual interest of all the stakeholders is gaining paramount importance. Companies are beginning to realise the fact that in order to gain strategic initiative and to ensure continued existence, business practises may have to be moulded from the normal practise of solely focussing on profits to factor in public goodwill and responsible business etiquettes. An examination of some of the factors which have led to the development of the concept of corporate social responsibility (CSR) would be ideal starting ground for the conceptual development of suitable corporate business practises for emerging markets.

The business environment has undergone vast changes in the recent years in terms of both the nature of competition and the wave of globalization that has been sweeping across markets. Companies are expanding their boundaries from the country of their origin to the evolving markets in the developing countries which have been sometimes referred to as emerging markets.

The increase in competition among the multinational companies to gain first mover advantage in various developing countries by establishing goodwill relationships with both the state and the civil society is ample testimony to this transformation. Secondly, in most of the emerging markets, the state still holds the key to business success because of the existence of trade and business regulations restricting the freedom of multinational companies to incorporate their previously successful business doctrines which have been tried and tested in the developed nations. The state with its duty of protecting the interests of the general public would naturally be inclined to give preference to companies which take care of the interests of all the stakeholders. Thirdly, emerging markets have been identified as a source of immense talent with the rising levels of education. For example, the expertise of India in churning out software professionals.

In order to draw from this vast talent pool coming up in developing countries, companies need to gain a foothold in these markets by establishing sound business practices addressing social and cultural concerns of the people. It has been observed that consumers consider switching to another company's products and services, speak out against the company to family/friends, refuse to invest in that company's stock, refuse to work at the company and boycott the company's products and services in case of negative corporate citizenship behaviours
Last but not the least, firms all over the world are beginning to grasp the importance of intangible assets, be it brand name or employee morale. “Manual on Life”

We live according to our wish, guided by the values and ethics that we have evolved. But we often forget that we are part of a larger picture and have been put on this planet for a purpose. We forget that there is more to life than mere existence. Finally we just end up counting our days rather than making our days count. Life is not a spectator sport or a movie. We cannot just sit back and watch things unravel. We need to find a purpose to make our life meaningful and then strive to achieve that purpose, say you have a dream to complete

Lets undersatnd with an example, Albert Einstein was once asked, "Why are we here"? He replied, "If the Universe is an accident, we are all accidents. But if there is a meaning in the universe, then there is a meaning in us too". The more we understand about our purpose, the more we can dance in tune to the cosmic ballet. We cannot help ourselves, without helping others. We cannot enrich ourselves, without enriching others. We cannot prosper, without brining prosperity to others. It is always the little things that make a huge difference.

Second Example; Once a man was taking a morning walk on the beach when he saw hundreds of starfish stranded on the beach sand as the tide receded. Realizing that they will die soon, the man took a few steps, picked one and threw it into the water. He did that repeatedly. Right behind him there was another person who couldn't understand what this man was doing. He caught up with him and asked, "What are you doing?

There are hundreds of starfish. How many can you help? What difference does it make?" This man did not reply, took two more steps, picked up another one, threw it into the water, and said, "It makes a difference to this one." Are we making any difference to the lives of others? Big or small, it does not matter. But if each one of us did our part, wouldn't we end up making a huge difference to people around us?

I think, there are 2 kinds of tragedies in life. One is not getting what we want and the other is getting what we want. If we are not clear about our value system, then getting what we want can be a bigger tragedy.

Third Example being, the story of the greedy King Midas says it all. He got a wish to turn everything that he touches into gold. But his greed finally paid off as he was not able to eat anything and also ended turning his beloved daughter into a gold statue. Distorted values always lead to tragedy. Unlike the game of soccer where players can be substituted, the game of life allows no substitutions or replays. We need to be sure about what we want and what we intend to do.

Nothing else matters as long as we do the right thing and make the right moves. Our imperfections do not

count as along as we exude positive vibes and spread happiness around us.

So, Do the right thing. It will gratify some people and astonish the rest".

Story of Nail Paint from Beauty Store to my own beauty box is amazing and so colorful

There came a time when I started using all my bucks, used every last cent. I needed it and I couldn't live without it. A new collection of nail paints has come up with new offers at the ambience mall and it had to be mine. This addiction came with no pre warnings, before I knew it my collection had out grown my bath room cabinet and was taking over my house. You won't walk in without finding at least a few on my floor, one or two on the living room end table and most definitely a new shopping bag filled in my purse.

This coloured material called Nail polish has become my go-to for when I need to be cheered up. It is the easiest thing in your wardrobe or accessory closet that will always fits. Some colors washed out some faded with seasons but you know your favorite color will always be by your side. And thank god, I have too many friends who have always been there to pamper my addiction and this way I created gallery of colors all around.

And after watching my love towards this colorful cosmetics section in my dressing table, people started clicking it for new photo shoot

So, lets enjoy coloring nails!!!!!!

Blasts in Mumbai 2011

The 2011 Mumbai Blasts (herein referred to as July 13 or 13/07) were at three places in Mumbai. Three explosions have taken place in Mumbai on Wednesday evening – two in South Mumbai at Opera House and in Zaveri Bazar and one at Dadar West, in Central Mumbai. The Home Ministry has confirmed a terrorist attack and Mumbai is on high alert. All blasts took place in crowded places. Eyewitnesses said about 15 to 20 people have been taken to hospital in Zaveri Bazar.

The jinx associated with number '13' seems to hold true for the country with four bomb blasts taking place on this date during the last three years.

Mumbai's diamond district Zaveri Bazaar and two other bustling markets Opera and Dadar were today hit by three consecutive blasts, killing at least 13 and injuring about 100

On February 13 last year, 17 people were killed and over 60 injured when the famous German Bakery in Pune was hit by a bomb blast. The bakery which was frequented by foreigners came under attack a day before Valentine's Day when young crowd throng the eatery

In May 13, 2008, Jaipur was hit by a series of nine synchronised bomb blasts within 15 minutes across different locations of the 'Pink City'

The blasts -- first terror attack on this tourist destination -- killed 68 people and injured over 214

Same year on September 13, six blasts took place in the national capital killing 26 people. The blasts took place in crowded markets of Karol Bagh, Connaught Place and Greater Kailash

All these blasts save one, the German Bakery, have some common points -- all these bombs were synchronised and timed to explode within a very short span of time, crowded markets were the targets and the blasts occurred in evening when these places swell with customers

One BEDROOM eXTRA

As the dream of most parents I had acquired a degree in Software Engineering and joined a company based in USA , the land of braves and opportunity. When I arrived in theUSA , it was as if a dream had come true

Here at last I was in the place where I want to be. I decided I would be staying in this country for about Five years in which time I would have earned enough money to settle down in India

My father was a government employee and after his retirement, the only asset he could acquire was a decent one bedroom flat

I wanted to do some thing more than him. I started feeling homesick and lonely as the time passed. I used to call home and speak to my parents every week using cheap international phone cards. Two years passed, two years of Burgers at McDonald's and pizzas and discos and 2 years watching the foreign exchange
rate getting happy whenever the Rupee value went down

Finally I decided to get married. Told my parents that I have only 10 days of holidays and everything must be done within these 10 days. I got my ticket booked in the cheapest flight.

Was jubilant and was actually enjoying hopping for gifts for all my friends back home. If I miss anyone then there will be talks. After reaching home I spent home one week going through all the photographs of girls and as the time was getting shorter I was forced to select one candidate.

In-laws told me, to my surprise, that I would have to get married in 2-3 days, as I will not get anymore holidays. After the marriage, it was time to return to USA , after giving some money to my parents and telling the neighbors to look after them, we returned to USA

My wife enjoyed this country for about two months and then she started feeling lonely. The frequency of calling India increased to twice in a week sometimes 3 times a week. Our savings started diminishing.
After two more years we started to have kids. Two lovely kids, a boy and a girl, were gifted to us
by the almighty. Every time I spoke to my parents, they asked me to come to India so that they can see their grand-children.

Every year I decide to go to India ... But part work part monetary conditions prevented it. Years went by and visiting India was a distant dream. Then suddenly one day I got a message that my parents were seriously sick. I tried but I couldn't get any holidays and thus could not go to India ... The next message I got was my parents had passed away and as there was no one to do the last rights the society members had done
whatever they could. I was depressed. My parents had passed away without seeing their grand children.

After couple more years passed away, much to my children's dislike and my wife's joy we returned to India to settle down. I started to look for a suitable property, but to my dismay my savings were short and the property prices had gone up during all these years. I had to return to the USA .

My wife refused to come back with me and my children refused to stay in India ... My 2 children and I returned to USA after promising my wife I would be back for good after two years.

Time passed by, my daughter decided to get married to an American and my son was happy living in USA ... I decided that had enough and wound-up every thing and returned to India ... I had just enough money to buy a decent 02 bedroom flat in a well-developed locality.

Now I am 60 years old and the only time I go out of the flat is for the routine visit to the nearby temple. My faithful wife has also left me and gone to the holy abode.

Sometimes I wondered was it worth all this?
My father, even after staying in India ,Had a house to his name and I too have the same nothing more. *

*I lost my parents and children for just ONE EXTRA BEDROOM. *

*Looking out from the window I see a lot of children dancing.
This damned cable TV has spoiled our new generation and these
children are losing their values and culture because of it. I
get occasional cards from my children asking I am alright. Well
at least they remember me. *

*Now perhaps after I die it will be the neighbors again who will
be performing my last rights, God Bless them.
But the question
still
remains 'was all this worth it?' *

This story is about death.

When I was small, I read a quote that went something like:

"If you live each day as if it was your last, someday you'll most certainly be right."

It made an impression on me, and since then, for the past 2 years, I have looked in the mirror every morning and asked myself: "If today were the last day of my life, would I want to do what I am about to do today?" And whenever the answer has been "No" for too many days in a row, I know I need to change something.

Remembering that I'll be dead soon is the most important tool I've ever encountered to help me make the big choices in life. Because almost everything — all external expectations, all pride, all fear of embarrassment or failure - these things just fall away in the face of death, leaving only what is truly important.

Remembering that you are going to die is the best way I know to avoid the trap of thinking you have something to lose. You are already naked. There is no reason not to follow your heart.

And that is as true for your work as it is for your lovers.

Your work is going to fill a large part of your life, and the only way to be truly satisfied is to do what you believe is great work.

And the only way to do great work is to love what you do. If you haven't found it yet, keep looking. Don't settle.

As with all matters of the heart, you'll know when you find it. And, like any great relationship, it just gets better and better as the years roll on. So keep looking until you find it. Don't settle.
