"Secret identities" by Tom Sharp

They've kept their true identities secret.
You couldn't pick them out of a crowd. You might have heard of some,
but you're not sure whether you've ever met them.
Their names have been changed here to protect the innocent.

"Fantasy Lives" by Tom Sharp

The cities and towns named here, from around Britain, Europe, and northern Africa, are real;
the persons entirely imagined. Human beings are inherently interesting,
no matter what they do or where they live. It should be possible for any of us
to imagine living in another's place.

"The book of signs" by Tom Sharp.

Symbol are signs. Both have meanings. The meaning of a natural sign is related to what caused it.
The meaning of a conventional sign is assigned by human beings and our cultures.
This book muses over natural and human-made signs, from petroglyphs to punctuation marks.

You can believe anything you like,
provided that you’re able to believe without strong evidence
and without insisting on consistency with scientific truths.
Indeed, faith or belief is necessary for many of us
who are not well trained in scientific principles
and must trust in the good intentions of others,
for example, that the truck in the opposite lane
was designed by good engineers and driven by a person
who is happy, sane, and well rested.

"When Do You Write?" by Gordon Carrega

A casual friend, in an effort at making conversation over a glass of wine, asked me, "When do you write?" I was, as they say, completely taken aback.

"Seeing What's Not There" Stories and poems by Mary Magagna

A book of short prose and free verse poems written in magic realism,
where people's bodies are fused with natural and cosmic environments.
The voice is mostly playful, but the reader may find him/herself caught off guard
occasionally by its gravity and seriousness.

"Artists" by Tom Sharp

Wassily Kandinsky said that artists must reach into their own souls for inner truths,
and so lead others to higher spiritual levels.
He didn't say that artists had to become famous, or even to earn their living from art.
