Shaun McCaffery’s Campaign Kickoff At The H2 Healdsburg

Date: Sept 14th

Time: 6pm-8:30pm

I want to extend this invitation to you to help support my campaign.

The kickoff party will be at Spoonbar, located on the ground floor of H2hotel – California’s newest green hotel designed with an eco-consciousness and the latest in environmental technology.

I will be providing Chef Rudy’s appetizers and Scotty’s fabulous cocktails to all my guests.

Please join me in conversation to help determine how the City Council can improve the way it interacts with Healdsburg’s residents and businesses. I would love to hear which issues are important to you and what I can do to help strengthen our local economy.

Strengthening Our Local Economy

I have a vision for Healdsburg of a dynamic blend of businesses that benefit residents and visitors alike.
I support fee waivers and deferments to help diversify the business community in Healdsburg.
I will work to develop a strategy for making growth industries such as alternative energy and green building materials set up shop in Healdsburg.
Most importantly, my focus as a council member will be to bring jobs to our community.

Enrich Our Community With Cultural Programs

I will continue to network with artists, musicians and local cultural organizations to augment arts education in our schools.
I would like to see more live music performances in our community. I will create a web-based application system for local businesses to acquire permits for live music events

Preserve Our Landmarks And Heritage

I support the acquisition of Fitch Mountain for public access and recreation. This will be a stepping stone in a continuous trail system from the City of Healdsburg to Alexander Valley.
I advocate green building principles for all new developments in Healdsburg.
I support new developments within the urban growth boundary if they are in the best interest of our community.

Adopting A Budget
