Going Uptown!

Alright people! I'm going uptown! Mark your calendars now and look for me in the Belk Carolinas' Carrousel Parade on Thanksgiving Day. I'll be marching down the streets of Charlotte along with dancers, elves and other characters from "The Real Christmas Story" with an entourage from NarroWay.

This isn't my first parade appearance. I was there last year and made quite the splash. They say I am the first camel to march down the streets in the entire history of the Carrousel Parade. I guess...

NarroWay Going to Morganton

So, NarroWay is going to Morganton, NC this coming Sunday. Mimosa Christian Counseling Center is sponsoring a special event at Crosslink Church and NarroWay will be performing "John, His Story" at 5pm on Sunday, June 3. The counseling center is sponsoring the show as a fundraiser and to generate awareness of their mission. It's also a great opportunity to generate awareness of NarroWay. So, the cast of "John, His Story," is packing their bags and taking to the road.

What fun! Another "Camel Ride" day is scheduled at NarroWay!

Next Tuesday, December 20 at 1pm, there will be boat-loads of pleasure seekers coming out to the NarroWay Theatre for camel and donkey rides.

Joy oh joy! I just can't wait! And lucky we are because they scheduled it for a day when school is out. So all the little children who would otherwise be sitting at home bored and begging their padres for Christmas gifts can now come out and ride a camel at NarroWay.

'Tis the season to be jolly - and jolly I am... well, at least that's what my caretaker has been saying about my belly. I've been put on a new diet, which I absolutely abhor. But since Thanksgiving is just around the corner, I'm not going to blog about dieting. Believe you me, if I had my way the world would know no such thing as the term "dieting."

So, the new look for the website has finally launched. It's been a long time coming! And let me just tell you that I was NOT the hold up! You will notice my first blog entry was done more than a month ago. So, here I have been, patiently waiting while the rest of the site has been under construction.

So, here I am... FINALLY blogging! It's been a long time coming. For over 12 years now I have been storing up a WEALTH of information to be shared with the world. And now it's happening. This is a first! Perhaps, it's even a first-ever-anywhere kind of thing... I mean, just how many other camels do you know writing a blog?
