The age groups below are for the current season 2025-26 so if you are currently an U11 you will be joining our U12 for 2026-27 but you should follow the guidance below for U11 and register interest in the Summer Football Five.

Age Groups U11 and Younger

You should now register your interest for an invite to our Summer football program in June and July for these age groups. This is now the best way to get a taste of Sheen Lions with a view to joining for 2026-27 in September.

Please enter your details into this form to register your interest. We will contact you around May once we open registration for the Summer football program.

Note that the youngest age group that we take is U5, however U4 may attend our Summer Football program in June and July.

Age Groups U12 up to U18

If you do wish to be considered for Sheen Lions for the 2026-27 season you must first enquire by email to the managers in your age group. They will let you know if there is a possibility of a place in their team and will arrange a trial for you to be invited to register details before attending to trial. Use the table below to work out your age group if necessary.

• Your Email must include:
  • Player’s Full Name
  • Player’s date of birth
  • email address of one or both parents
  • A brief summary of football experience indicating the level reached

Sheen Lions FC conducts all of its administration by email. Starting from when you complete the enquiry until you end your engagement with the Club, maybe in many years time, you must monitor your Spam folder on a regular basis to make sure that you do not miss an important message.

Children to wear appropriate attire INCLUDING SHIN PADS and should bring refreshments (no fizzy drinks or sweets).

• Current Sheen Lions players must wear their Sheen Lions training kit.
• Prospective players do not need Sheen Lions kit
• You MUST have boots, they should be suitable for hard ground, moulded or short studs.
• You MUST have shin pads
• If we are lucky you may need sun protection
• If we are not you will need a rain jacket and maybe a sweat shirt

Payment must be received at the time of booking to reserve a place. The Fee will be £60 regardless of how many of the six sessions you can attend. Payment instructions will be on your invitation email and payment must be made at the time of booking to reserve your place.

If you are approaching from the east or the A3 you will find it easier to park in Bank Lane, Roehampton and use the eastern entrance to Palewell Common as indicated on the map. If you are approaching from the west or the A316 it is easier to park on Palewell Common Drive.

PLEASE NOTE that cars double/tripled parked on this road are likely to incur fines, as these roads are patrolled by parking officials. Roads must be kept clear for emergency vehicles to gain access.

The U8’s played their first official league game for Sheen Lions on Saturday January 18th.

After a shaky start in the first quarter they quickly found their groove for the remaining quarters convincingly scoring two hat-tricks along the way.

A big thank you to for Edward & Juliet for stepping up and managing the team this season.

Thank you also to Shaun for reffing the game and to all the coaches / assistants involved with the U8’s development.
