We love the idea of a capsule wardrobe, but as much as those chic Parisian ladies can pull off the pared down look, we fear we’d get a little tired if all we saw when we opened our wardrobes in the morning were rows upon rows of white shirts and black blazers (although if the blazers were Balmain, we might just concede).

We’re lusting after a pair of vertiginous over-the-knees but if we’re totally honest with ourselves, we know that the only boots in our wardrobes with an acceptable cost-per-wear this autumn/winter will be sheepskin and oh-so-snuggly.

The Coldest Wintour

It’s not often you see a group of Choo-clad, sunglass-wearing fashionistas lining the foyer of your local cinema. But this was the scene on the opening night of The September Issue, a documentary which takes a behind-the-scenes, rarely seen before look at the inner workings of fashion bible American Vogue, and its matriarch and devil in Prada, Anna Wintour, during the making of its all-important September issue.

A Gap in the Market

There are certain things a girl simply can’t live without. The Cold Shoulder

Forget legs or décolletage...this season’s erogenous zone is the shoulder, which designers supersized, shaped into dramatic peaks, elongated to Frankenstein proportions, and topped off with a pair of serious shoulder pads.
