We’d like to thank the Centre for HIV and Sexual Health team for all their support and for giving us a great place to work over the years, but as of 5th September 2011, we’ll be moving out of the Centre to a new base. The address of our new office will be at:

The new venue is situated just 1 minute’s walk from Sheffield train station, making it easily accessible by public transport. We’re really excited to be moving into an office that’s more central and easier for young people to get to.

2nd August – Fundraising session – we’re going to spend some time as a group discussing ideas for fundraising for the group in future

Hello everyone. Sheffield Fruitbowl’s confidential advice and sexual health Drop-In service has moved. We are no longer meeting at the NSPCC building, but are now meeting at the No. 92 Drop In space for young people at 92 Queen Street, S1 1DW. You can get to it by walking down the little alley to the left of the Cathedral. Click here to see it on a map.

We have also changed our Drop-In time. It now runs from 4.30pm to 5pm every Friday.

You don’t need to make an appointment at the Drop In, and you don’t need to be a member of the Fruitbowl group – it’s a space for anyone who would like to come and talk to a Youth Worker about their sexuality, get some sexual health advice or just find out more about Fruitbowl.

Remember, this week will be the last week Fruitbowl runs in its extended time slot, so from next Friday, 4th March, we will be back to our usual time of 4:30 – 5pm for Drop-In, and 5pm – 7pm for Fruitbowl.

Next week (17th December) will be our last session before breaking up for the Christmas holidays and we are going to have a Fruitbowl celebration. We haven’t decided what we’re doing yet though (who says we’re not organised!) so send us your suggestions of what you would like to do at that session and we can put our heads together to make it happen.

We’ve been preparing for weeks and the group have a night of spooks and surprises for us all. We’re all going in costumes but don’t worry if you don’t have one ready – we’ll have some spares!

We’re getting the room ready with decorations and somebody even promised to bake a green cake! So all you need to do is turn up – see you there!

The specialist worker is coming from the CRI Project in Sheffield and will bring lots of information and activities with him and there will also be time for asking questions.
