Deepavali Party Tips- In sync with Nature!

It’s that time of the year; the festival of Light or Deepavali is celebrated by all the Hindu’s around the globe. And the countdown has begun here in Malaysia, for 17th October 2009.

The delectable, scrumptious home-cooked cookies and traditional favourites ; the murrukku, accu murrukku,athirasam and sweet meats is a must-try for all! (I’ve placed my orders though; the new modern mums dont sweat it out in the kitchen anymore!)

The main event in the decor department being the variety of colourful, gay ,radiance from the candles, bulbs,neon lights and lanterns!

So, here are a few feng shui tips to add that extra warmth and love into your party this year! Let the elements zest up their magical powers into your life and party!

In 2009, it is advisable to plan your party in the centre of your home, southeast and the south.

You would be wise to avoid the Northeast ,as this would activate the Quarrelsome energy 3 and thus bring upon unwanted disagreement among family members.

Centre /SouthEast/South

These are the ideal location to set up for your Deepavali party in 2009!

1.Hang the dazzling neon light/bulbs;

2.have loads of candles everywhere ,

3. Play your favourite music in the background for the senses.

4. Locate your table top water feature in the East or SouthWest of the room; the sound of the trickling water has a soothing effect on anyone.

5. Spread out the scrumptious meals on the centre table; signifying abundance all throughout for everyone!

6. Dont forget to spread flower power everywhere; adding the growth energy into your homes! Purchase lively, vibrant coloured flowers as your centre piece.

7. The theme; red and gold. Ribbons, cushion covers, table top,runners,candles in red and gold! Let your imagination run wild here…..

Balancing the Illness star in your Home.

This is the follow up form my previous post;which seems to be ages ago, I know!

1. Suppress the illness star with lots of metal energy; windchimes being the best ever cure based on years of testimonials!
A six rod, hollow metal windchime should be fine and should be hung in the WEST corner; according to the compass direction.
These cures work wonderfully, when it is done properly, use the compass in determining the directions.

2. A metal Wu Lou in the West of the bedroom if the bedroom is in the WEST of your home. Tie a red ribbon around the Wu Lou thus, activating it .

3. A crane ,symbolizes a good ,long life. Placing an image or figurine of a crane in the Health sector, the EAST or in the WEST in 2009 would be an ideal .

4. YOU ARE NOT AFRAID OF A BAD YEAR ;WHEN YOU KNOW THE SECRET OF FENG SHUI!

H1N1 FENG SHUIED!

WHY?

In 2009, the illness star 2, resides in the West. The West of your home, office, country and the world will thus, be the most affected by this residing illness star.

In Feng Shui terms, the Lungs, (as in our anatomy) represents the West chi of a place. No doubt whatsoever as to why most Feng Shui practitioners are not surprised or affected by the H1N1 outbreak worldwide. The disease attacks the most vulnerable part in us; our Lungs. ( What I’m trying to tell you guys is that we Feng Shui practitioners knew about the H1N1 pandemic much,much earlier!!)

The West of Peninsular Malaysia will have more reports of the viral flu outbreak as compared to the other parts of the country; and the West of United States of America will have a higher statistics of infection or death;to quote a few examples.

Hi Reader! How have you been keeping? I will answer a question asked by a pal the other day;

Why the need to “Feng Shui ” your life?

1. To improve relationships, and in some cases to keep a stagnant relationship going smooth,for the sake of God knows what!

2. To improve your financial situation by helping you swim gracefully out of a situation! But honestly, Feng Shui works the fastest in these area; you immediately see the money/opportunity rolling in!

3. To safeguard your wealth for the next generation ; hey, look at what happened to Michael Jackson!

4. To create career opportunity/promotion ;well we have all the secrets!

5. To maintain a good lifestyle;thus, being in a state of good health and frame of mind; feng shui has its own way of combating the viral flu!

Cakras and the 5 elements….

Hi, great to be back. Currently, I am involved in a research on Yoga, chakras and the 5 elements. I will probably be posting it by mid August.

Another exciting news! A celebrity friend, Sri Lanka’s celebrity Feng Shui consultant will be here in Malaysia on a business trip. Therefore,if luck’s on my side; I will be meeting Mr. Asiri and his lovely wife next week.

In the practice of Feng Shui, the NorthWest direction is activated to enhance our Mentor Luck.

2. Alternatively, get a little kiasu…place or hang 6 rod metal windchimes in the NorthWest wall, at eye level as a general rule. Hang one, or two or like me get 4 chimes!

3. Write back and share with everyone after 3 weeks, 3 months………………

Some may prefer to wear their name or that of their spouse, children, lover or home town. Or you could make a message like “I Love You” to give to your nearest and dearest, or even a motto, phrase or initial. The names can be read from every angle since all the four sides has the letter.

“Then, pile on other beads which could be your lucky numbers or oriental charms like Double Happiness, Mystic Knot, Longevity, lotus or traditional western ones like the four-leaf clover, horse shoe or heart.

“La Storia even has the 12 animals of the Chinese zodiac. Wear your animal sign or wear all 12! Create your lucky bling and see what happens,” he adds.

The more esoteric may just wish to insert a secret code which only the recipient will understand and appreciate.

Eye-catching: Necklace which incorporates gold and silver.

“Over time you may end up accumulating many beads since they are so affordable. This allows you to change your bracelet, anklet or necklace all the time as you play with various beads and create a brand new look each time. It takes minutes to change by adding, removing or rearranging the beads.
