I believe the pattern calls for one button.  My initial plan was to use 3 toggle fastners (that I'd purchased at JoAnn's).  However, before I could get a toggle on, it fell apart (close inspection of the toggle, showed the loop was affixed with adhesive tape).

Thanks for the lovely compliments on my Vera Wang Chartreuse skirt.

As for my Burda 8281 houndstooth skirt fiasco, that skirt has been trashed. However I was able to make another McCalls 3830 from the remnant and with that out of the way I quickly moved onto another project.

 The high-low dress/top trend has grabbed my attention and wanted to try it.  I selected Butterick 5706: Semi-fitted lined dress (fitted through the bust) with neckline variations and back zipper; self-lined sleeves.  D: unlined, below elbow length sleeves.

The best thing about the wrap dress is that it's still on trend.
