It started out as a great weekend: I did an oil painting demo in 4 hours that i am pretty happy with, and then the unfortunate happened: The painting was ruined by the SF rain~!! :S It's pretty much defaced and this blurry shot is the best i got of it(Thanks R).

I had a lot of fun painting this one: Trying hard to capture the cool light from the window that fades away within the first 2 hours of the pose~

A wip for the upcoming Gallery Nucleus show "Dragons". I had in mind to paint a girl with dragon upper body and human legs, but now the dragon turn into a scarf of sort~ :S

I will also be participating in the Concpetart.org SF workshop in November~! I will be on hand to do traditional oil painting demo, and answer portfolio questions! Hope to see you there!

Ron Paul Campaign 2012~!

I did this after work tonite for Ron Paul's 2012 Presidential Campaign. I will probably do some changes later when i see it with fresh eyes tomorrow.

I have found him an inspiration, a politician that i can actually understand and agree with most of the time, and i will definitely vote for him again. I hope many of you feel the same way too.

A little break from the norm~

I had a nice two week vacation during Chinese New Year to visit my family in China and a bit of traveling in Dubai~ Egypt was where we wanted to go, but it wasn't meant to be at the time. It's the fist time i had an ipod touch with me while traveling, and I gotta say i don't know how i lived without it before...! All these amazing apps for shooting pictures and videos~! it's so fun.

The gas in Dubai was half as much as bottled water. Imagine my shock when i see the prices back in the States!

p.s. i recently had my cousin over for a weekend. she's a clinical pharmacist who started working about two years ago. Talking with her make me realize(again) just how lucky i am, being able to do what i love at work. Having the best bosses(Dice and Robert) doesn't hurt either. ^0^ I hope all of your jobs make you content and happy as well~
