What can be better than turning 2?

My Garden Dragon aka Texas Spiny Lizard and Jager, the Dragon Hunter :)

2015-10-25T14:55:00.001-05:00

This was the first time I caught him sunning himself on the driveway... Usually he is on the brick of the house and gone by the time I can go get my camera. He didn't move as I walked around him (distance of about 4-5 feet away) but his eyes sure followed every move. Then suddenly he turned around and started back up the driveway to only stop short when he realized Jager was there staring at him. Jager was on his leash at the time. Knowing Jager could never catch him, we took the leash off. The "Dragon" ran under the car. Jager took chase and tried to get to it. Of course he was way too large to get under the car. Then as Jager ran to the far side of the car, the lizard dashed out and ran over the house and up the brick. Stayed there out of Jager's leash until after we went back into the house. Jager was prancing around, so proud of himself. Our Dragon Hunter :)

New Photos

2015-10-04T16:30:00.001-05:00

I still have difficulty standing for long periods of time... So I didn't have to go any further than my front yard.... Got some more flower photos.... It felt so good to take them :)

I also got some shots of the Super Moon/Lunar Eclipse. It was pretty cloudy and I have a problem right now with floaters in my right eye. I still have a lot of photos to go thru, but here are a few from that night.

Word Art, "Amped Effects" templates, backgrounds, textures.... you name it Ashe Design has it!!

2015-07-24T19:53:00.000-05:00

A friend was looking at the latest of my photos of my pregnant granddaughter and commented on how the quotes on the pictures really moved her. So I thought I would talk about it. I have tired stuff from other sites, but none compare to Ash Design. Talk about one stop shopping!!. They have everything you need for a finished product that envokes loads of emotion. And then on top of that, every Friday there is a $5 Friday sale. The sale offers a wide varaity of things for $5 each. And to make it even more economical, there is the retired bin where you have a last chance to get things for an amazing price. This is the place where I got all the wonderful templates for the sports posters as well. Even their regular prices are very reasonable.
Here are a few examples of how I have used their products:

Click HERE to check it out yourself.... They are so easy to use. The site also offers free tutorials to show you how to use everything.

Spring is here...........

2015-03-29T16:17:00.000-05:00

Spring is here, and in Texas, that means Bluebonnets.

I went to my secret location to check out the status of the blooms.

There were several bloomed out but in a week or two they will be full of flowers and ready for portraits.

Here are a couple of shots from today :)

Should be a pretty weekend :)

2015-03-27T19:16:00.002-05:00

Hoping to get out tomorrow for a little bit with the camera and get a few shots in. The blue bonnets should be in bloom soon and will go check out my favorite spot. Have one of the grandkids over for the weekend so may get a pic or two of him. Still have issues standing in one spot and cannot yet squat low or kneel down. But getting stronger all the time. Have a wonderful weekend :)

Getting Better............

2015-03-01T11:01:00.000-06:00

I am walking without a cane now. Still uncertain on uneven ground, but getting there. My husband has done a wonderful job of caring for me and encouraging my therapy efforts. It has been lots of hard work, but see progress daily. Still having an issue with Neuropathic Pain, but pushing thru it as best as I can. Standing in one spot for a length of time is still difficult. I have started back to work and looking forward to warmer weather and taking lots of photos. We have had snow and ice here in Texas this last few days and the slick footing has been a challenge. I found a dry spot on the driveway and got a few shots of my German Shepherd, Jager and my husband playing in the snow. I know I have a ways to go, but hope you enjoy my first efforts back behind the lens. :)

Let the play begin :)

Snowball landed right in front of him

His rawhide chew stick makes it look like something else :)

Loving this cold weather

Chewing snow covered treat :)

Surveying his domain

The snow has crusted over so husband gave him the
snowball and didn't throw it.

Wow... that's cold.... Brain Freeze

Decided to drop it :)

So Handsome

What a fun time... Can we do it again?

I found this Bibbed Domistic Mallard when I was going thru Lucas and stopped at the Sonic.

This duck flew right in front of me. As soon as my order arrived, I drove to the other side of the parking lot and there was a large pond with ducks.
