How to Remove the Footer

1. Go to the main directory holding the clipbucket , would be something like your-url.com/includes.
2. Then Open with notepad the file called “functions.php”
3. Within notepad go to edit > find

   

4. Now Type this in the search field “PGgyPklsbGVnYWwgT3BlcmF0aW9uIEZvdW5k”

   

5. Now start deleting the highlighted parts that I showed you above then save.
6. You’re not done yet though , now go to your-url.com/styles/(WHATEVER THEME YOU CHOSE HERE)/layout/Footer.html
7. Search for “Powered By ClipBucket” , if you do not find anything then you can skip this step
8. You’re done , refresh your browser and now that pain in the butt copyright back-link is gone , Enjoy !

• News Stand – Is simply the best freaking rss reader you’ll ever use. TRUST ME. This bad boy has multiple features including caching images for later reads as well as compressing the database for maintained performance. If your lazy like me you’ll be happy to know that it also includes a very large directory of feeds to choose from instead of having to manually type urls out.
• TomTom GPS – Best GPS app with voiced-turn-by-turn direction available for the Iphone period, end of discussion , case closed !

• Scanner Pro – If you at anytime ever had to scan a document , paper or book then this app lets you just that with a touch of a button. I’ve used this app on my iphone 3g and have scanned 40+ pages of a textbook and the results were clear , sharp and most importantly readable documents that could be converted to PDF format. You can also email them to yourself or use services such as Evernote.

• Opera Mini – If your tired of using the slow , inconvenient Safari browser that is built into the Iphone then you should definitely give Opera Mini a try. Once you this browser you will start to ask yourself why the hell did you ever use Safari to begin with! Oh P.S. it is 100% free.

• Memory Info – This application clears your memory 100% so that if you feel your iphone is being sluggish then it will clear out any un-used ram and memory leaks.

• BeeJive IM – IM apps are a very controversial topic because people have so many different tastes of what the prefer. Beejive is a great if not the best app in the Iphone app store. It offers Push notification , great UI that maximizes screen space so you can concentrate on your conversations. Unfortunately it is seriously pricey to consider the purchase.

• IM+ – Is the alternative to Beejive app as far as pricing and features go , IM+ also matches up in almost all categories as BeeJive so if you don’t want to shell out cash for BeeJive then IM+ is the next best thing.

• Nimbuzz IM – If you don’t want to pay money for IM+ or Beejive then you can be a freeloader like myself and get Nimbuzz for free, it has all the basic essential needs for instant messaging apps.

• QuickOffice – This is the alternative of Microsoft Office for the Iphone. It handles the entire office suite such as your everyday word-processing and other tools such as powerpoint.

Games

• Chaos Rings – This Square Enix game reminds me of Final Fantasy VIII , the graphics are amazing , the music is great and it is flat out the best JRPG game in the iPhone app store.

• Ancient War – Is one of the best Castle vs Castle game in which you try to knock down the opponent’s totem pole. The graphics and transitions are seamless and so smooth when compared to other games in this genre.

• Chuck Norris – Legend has it that his beard has a hidden third fist. Enuff said

• Cocoto Kart Racer – Very fun racing game and is essentially Mario Kart on the Iphone

• Meowcenaries – I love all games made by Cartoon Network’s Adult swim , with that said their games are hilarious. What makes mewocenearies so fun is that anyone can pick it up and play. Great 3rd person shooter

• Pocket God – This is a great game that lets you pretend your a god. You can fling people into the ocean , throw them into a volcano , electrocute them , feed them to sharks , feed them to dinosaurs , let them become vampires and zombies . . .  You get the picture!

• 5 – Minutes to kill yourself – The premise is that have to go to a really boring meeting soon and you want to avoid going at ALL COSTS. The game mechanics are hilarious , kill yourself using staplers , clowns , getting beaten like a pinata by your co-workers etc.

• Parachute Panic – This is another one of those doodle games that is really addictive , the goal is to save people who are parachuting from the skies into the ocean. Kinda crazy premise but very fun.

• Defender Chronicles – Is another tower defense game that is crazy crazy crazy fun , I must have spent a total of 18 hours playing this game. It also has multiple rpg elements that promotes growth to improve your character.

• Plants Vs Zombies – This is a classical tower-defense-esque game that was ported over. Very very fun.

• SkyForce – One of the best arcade styled plane fighter games. It reminds me a lot of the old computer game called guardians.

• Bee Spelled – This game is one of the most addictive spelling games for the iPhone. It may look stupid at first but trying to spell the longest word out of a few letters can be very challenging and satisfying to do.

• Super Monkey Ball 2 – Launching a monkey inside of a ball ! Ok seriously I have no idea how to describe this game just go get it.

• Hills & Rivers – Square enix has made a lot of games for the Iphone but most of them suck or are not really meant for the Iphone (such as Final Fantasy I and II) but Hills and Rivers is one of my favorite Risk-like games that will consume all your spare time.

• Worms – Worms world is the ultimate turn based strategy games, it is definatly a must have for your collection.

• Implode! – Physics games are plentiful in the Iphone app store but what makes this stand out is the aesthetics and simplicity of blowing buildings up using the least amount of explosives. Check it out you won’t regret the decision.

Networking Apps

• PDANet – lets your computer go online by connecting it to your iPhone through Wifi.

• Stumbler Plus – Scan for wifi networks to connect to.

Camera & Photography

• Camera XL – This app is great because it takes your picture and doubles the resolution so if you have a camera that is 2 megapixels it will double it to 4 megapixels

• CameraBag – Is a neat app that will take your pictures and use multiple filters on it such as framing it within a Polaroid frame or using other filters that you may have seen in action at the app store.

• Camera Genius – Is my personal favorite camera app to use because of features such as the steadyshot stabilizer option , camera zoom , timers , burstable shots and using the entire screen as a button. There’s too many reasons to love it so just go download it.

• Night Camera – Yet another great camera application that has so many options that include saving in HD resolutions.

• Pano – Is one of the coolest applications for the Iphone camera that lets you create your own Panoramic images by taking snap shots of multiple photos and then merges them together. You can even make your own 360 degree angled photos which is pretty cool.

• Cycorder – Everyone on the Iphone 2g and Iphone 3g deserve video recodring , if you jailbroke your phone then you can video record your own clips using this free iphone app that is available using Cydia. **Note (If you want to copy the clips to your desktop or laptop computer then you will also need direct access or you could use IFile to email the clips to yourself)

Jailbreak Apps

• WinterBoard – Allows you to change your Iphone backgrounds and other elements of the UI.

• VLC4Iphone – VLC player is the best media player available on the internet for computers and now for the Iphone.

• Ireal SMS – This sms app has functions and abilities that the stock sms app just lacks. These include in-app quick reply , fast sms etc.

• USB Drive – This super useful Iphone app enables you to partition a part of the Iphone hard drive to be used as a usb storage device for your computer. Very simple and fast

• Snes4Iphone – This great app lets you emulate every super nintendo game on the Iphone. I suggest simple games or turn based rpg’s because playing games like mega man will be frustrating with the UI setup.

• Ifile – Is essentially a file explorer for the Iphone which also gives you root access.

• Backgrounder – If you like to multi-task and minimize your apps then you will fall in love with Backgrounder. Who needs to wait for apple approved updates while you can take advantage of this feature here and now ?

Need more power ?

If you are planning on your blog receiving high levels of traffic  , say around the neighborhood of 3,500-5,000 uniques a day then shared hosting may not be for you. If this is the case and your blog is heavy in traffic visitors then you may want to consider upgrading to a vps or even buying your own server.
