Charity toy giveaway May 16, 2020

Here is an amazing look back to our toy giveaway. Sheriffs youth foundation in partnership with the Purist group car club, delivered toys to kids and young adults with special needs at the Helen Evans Home in Hacienda Heights. #LASD Homeless Outreach Services Team and Sheriff's Youth Foundation

We’re all going through the current COVID-19 crisis together. And while everyone is at home helping to flatten the curve, The #LASD Homeless Outreach Services Team and Sheriff's Youth Foundation decided to bring some joy to the children housed in shelters during the COVID-19 Stay at Home Campaign.By partnering with the community, the #LASD was able to provide toys and some comfort to children at the Whole Child Family Shelter, in Los Angeles California.The Whole Child Center (TWC) is a non-profit organization established in 1957 by community members who saw a need to provide help to children in vulnerable communities with Mental Health, Family Housing, Parent Enrichment and Nutrition Education services.
