New Website Ready to Start Blogging

Hello! Feeling a little exhausted trying to get my new website up and running. The basic stuff has been fixed, but there's still a lot of work to be done. We still need to fix our SEO and we don't have a physical address to share. This is important if we want to scale our efforts. However, we have all the essentials to start blogging. We can find our new website here https://sherwinjtb.xyz/ and I'll end up paying more for the professional business email in half a year. The cost of a P.O. Box is around $135 in 2019. The price seems to be rising every year. Makes me wonder if my website can survive without an email marketing service. I'm fine with direct email contact at this stage. Not as fast as online chatting, but there are social networks that already makes this possible. I really don't want to continue doing surveys online to earn pocket money.

Our next step is to find an affiliate network program. I have my eye on a few already, but we need to register with them to actually get started. We're not exactly an official business yet. Still a hobby in the eyes of the taxation office. I think we're good if we don't earn more than $6,000 per month. We definitely don't want to earn more than $75,000 per year because that will seriously cause attention to us. I'm not looking to become super rich and wealthy. Just enough to live comfortably and free from financial burdens. This is something I'm fortunate to have. The lifestyle I have chosen is situational. Not everyone has the opportunity to start a blogging website. You really do have to work for something if you want to keep at it. If only everything came to us on our doorstep. None of us would need to struggle in life, but we'll miss out on the adventure.

Apologies if what I'm saying doesn't sound important. This is all a work in progress. My side of the story. How I came about answering online surveys to earn money and then buy myself a website. It only took me a couple of months, but we got there. Lessons in the past is not to risk all we have to make some money. Gambling was never part of the deal, but it can happen to the best of us. Gambling is a high chance of risk taking that most of us can't afford. However, we need to take certain risks in life to learn and grow. A lot of people fail at blogging, but there's a lot of encouragement online that has proven methods to work also. We're looking to be in the very small percentage of bloggers who become successful.

All we need is a little bit of guidance and discipline. We can't go off playing games all day and pretend nothing happened. I always remind myself that we need to balance work, rest, and play in life. I'm still deciding if our blog requires sponsored ads. The most well known brand is Google's AdSense. Yep, still deciding if or when I should include them in our new website. Actually, what's more important before that is finding out what to talk about. There's various topics we can go through, but we should probably stick to just one niche for now. We don't even have a mission or vision yet and that's going to hurt us the longer we think about it. Perhaps we want to help the homeless people in our community. Perhaps we want to continue to be entertainers in the gaming industry. The National Broadband Network should improve our situation.

I think helping the community could be a more well rounded approach, but it's going to be a challenge monetizing in this subject. Perhaps I'm not smart enough or don't know enough about this topic. Doubting myself before we even get started. This is probably what they call anxiety. The very first post is usually one of the biggest hurdles to jump. We need to write about stuff that actually has interest. If people aren't searching for the stuff we talk about, we'll never achieve the traffic we want. We'll end up earning a few cents every month, but that's not good enough. We know that monetizing websites work. I've earned money before by creating content online. I just hope we last longer than a a couple of years this time. Sadly, answering surveys online has earned us more money than our usual past failures. This needs to change.

I think I'm okay at story telling. Better than some people who don't check their spelling mistakes! I feel bad for some bloggers out there who don't correct or edit their articles. I take some pride in writing quality posts and check for mistakes often. I don't trust others enough to do the work for me. I still have that mentality that if I want something done well, I should just do it myself. This means all the blame is on me, but we're not in the blaming game business. I didn't leave the retail industry to blame others. I wanted to make a difference in this world. Help people in our community and feel that I have a purpose in life. I'm a little interested in running some regular community events if I ever find the time. Most notably for the elderly. I don't have the resources to start a charitable organisation, but there should be other things we can do.

Brainstorming ideas is something I don't want to keep doing, but it must be done. Shows that we're making progress or least trying to make a change. The difficulty in writing this post is that we're not really promoting anything today. Well, we're talking about the new website we've been building, but we haven't started blogging there yet. Oh, in other news I had a nightmare. It was the weirdest dream and quite devilish. Not sure if it's from playing too much Diablo 3 or whatnot. Never really fully understood my dreams. Scary if we dream of things that happen in the future. That's some freaky stuff right there. Maybe that's where people get the idea of angels and demons. Not quite the wild imagination after all. I think I'll stick to believable content though. However, being creative is another option if we do it in the early stages.

Is it okay to change our writing style every now and then or just stick to the usual structure? We don't want to shock our readers every time they come to visit our website. I'm going to reward myself after writing this post. Play a bit of Diablo 3 and perhaps watch some Netflix. Probably should find out more about Diablo 4 if there's any news. I haven't read anything yet since watching their game trailer. I'm going to have to learn how to cook also. Moving house with my beautiful partner next month. Looking forward to having faster internet speeds with an NBN (National Broadband Network) connection. I'm not holding my breath though. I haven't heard great reviews lately. Still need to pack my things into boxes. The big things like furniture is the greatest challenge. Well, cleaning the house is also on the list. Oh well, it must be done.

Started My Own Paid Blogging Website

Hello everyone! I can't believe what I did yesterday. I actually paid for a new website. Purchased a domain name and website hosting among other things. New website can be found here: https://sherwinjtb.xyz/. There were a few things that I wanted to fix before I started blogging at my new website. The way I blog is also going to change a bit. The first problem I want to get fixed is the favicon. I'll probably give a shout-out or link to the website that best helps me with this issue. Our blog here isn't actually very popular because people don't really take bloggers on blogger that seriously. This is why we are opening ourselves the opportunity to start our own branded website. A professional outlook and treated as a proper business.

When I first started my own blogging website a few years ago, I was all over the place. Had multiple domains and talked about various things. We had no specific target audience or niche. It's not too late to become a guru in one main topic. The cost of starting my own blogging website this month of the year was around $100 AUD. I would recommend saving around $150 AUD before you even think about starting a new website. This will cover the costs for about a year. I'm going to be charged again in half a year because having a professional business email account is an extra expense. Being automatically charged for renewal costs isn't something to be too excited about, but we need to pay to receive these services.

We know that getting traffic and monetizing our websites does work. With little effort, we find a few readers coming to our blog and visit us daily. A couple of hundred visits to our blog per month is quite doable. We're aiming for several thousand visits per month though. The magic number is 100k or more, but that's something to look forward to over the years. A couple of hundred page views per day is a good start. These numbers should come naturally with great quality content. We're not being greedy are we? That seems like a reasonable amount considering there are over 7.5 billion people living in our world. Statistics is going to play a vital role in our success. We're going to play around with the search engines too.

We bought our website yesterday. This means we're wasting money before we even get started blogging on our new website. However, we also want to take our time and do it right. There's a lot of free information available online to help us get started. There's the favicon, email accounts, copyright and content creation, technical problems, and a bunch of other things we need to get sorted out. Sunday isn't exactly our ideal day to be working hard online. We usually want to balance our lives between rest and work with a little bit of play. We're going to move away a bit from doing surveys for now because we've actually achieved our goal. We finally bought a new website for blogging. The problem now is being able to sustain the costs.

We've been talking about how much we actually want to earn every day. I would be happy to be earning around $20 AUD every day as a beginner. This means we're going to have to shy away from some of our more passionate topics. Being smart has its uses. Sometimes we just have to do the things we hate to find more time to do the things we love. A little bit of sacrifice for a little more reward.

I remember when I loved playing the clarinet. Brings me some nostalgic memories. I still have my clarinet under my bed. It's actually a rare sight to see people perform music on the clarinet in the streets or shopping centres. Sometimes we can find them at our local church. A rare breed they are once we leave high school or university. It's not exactly the easiest instrument to perfect in performance. We can't talk either while blowing on the instrument. Very hard to compete with people who has a voice and can also play with their hands such as the piano or guitar. The life of an instrumentalist can be very lonely at times. A musician with a voice is much easier to become popular. There's big business with karaoke (sing along) songs.

You can see now that we talk about various subjects in one blog post. Our ideas are all over the place. I'm also thinking about playing a bit of Diablo 3 or watching more anime online. There's also another game I've been logging into lately called Vikings: War of Clans by Plarium. Before we do play around some more after writing this post, I'd like to fix the favicon issue on my new website first. The content is also straight out of the box. I need to fix my content up to even think about having 3000 visitors daily or $500 per month income. Having an extra $500 AUD per month income is pretty amazing because it opens up even more opportunities. We've made the investment and now it's time to make it work for us.

One of the biggest questions we're going to have to face is the affiliate network we choose. There's a couple of things we have to learn. Being an affiliate means we're producing content such as a blog. We're literally publishers online. We help others such as merchants to sell their products. This means it is our job as an affiliate to convert these clicks into sales. This is something we have to think about on a daily basis. Running a business has to be consistent. Hello again everyone! Just got hit with another reality check. I'm going to need to earn around $300 AUD to even think about starting my own blogging website. After the 36 months are over and we need to renew our products, there is a regular price that we wanted to delay. There's a few ideas that I think may work for my new blogging website. Live streaming videos could be an option once we start using the National Broadband Network (NBN). We'll never know until we get there. This could be another month of waiting. We might not even be playing Diablo 3 anymore. Maybe we could start playing Diablo 4 if it ever gets launched this year. We could also start playing my clarinet again. That's going to be a pain though starting from scratch again. I can see the new title of my video now. There's still hope that I could actually be good enough to play in my own concert one day.

There's also a hurdle we need to get through before we become a YouTube Partner again. We need a minimum of 4000 hours of watched videos in our channel every 12 months. Greetings! Today, I would like to compare the three online surveys sites we have been active with most recently. This is my review on what I believe to be the most important when choosing the best way to earn money online. The condition that we are unemployed and have nothing to start with. The bread winner in the household is not us. The funds I accumulate can then be used up to start my own blogging website. Don't forget the other bills we have to pay for each month. In my case, there's the phone bill, internet bill, health insurance, credit card fee, bank fee, etc. If you're not here to spend money on a new blogging website, you can also spend your money to travel, eat out, watch movies in the cinema, and much more.

The following three websites where we can answer online surveys are swagbucks, grabpoints, and myopinions. We've already written blog posts about them and can be read later on if you missed out. This time we want to compare them a little more to see if we can decide the best way to earn money online. The first question we want to answer for ourselves is the reward. All three of them offer PayPal as a reward after earning a certain amount of points. We're also just starting out. We want to know which one has the fastest way to earn our reward by ourselves. The funny thing is though, the fastest satisfaction to receiving a reward is not necessarily the most beneficial. However, this goes to grabpoints. 3000 points for $3 USD.

The second easiest to earn rewards in my case is myopinions. Their online surveys are strictly for Australians only. 2000 points for $20 AUD. The highest loyalty status we have obtained with them is Platinum Plus. We don't really notice much difference, but we do supposedly gain bonus points each week. Check back with them daily for more surveys to complete. I sometimes notice that more surveys are available at each hour. It all depends on the day. The last on our list is swagbucks. 2500 points for $25 USD. The longer we stay with swagbucks, the easier it will be to accumulate our 2500 points each month. This comes to our second point for review. The referral system that rewards us for letting others know about them.

The best referral system out of the three online surveys sites has got to be swagbucks. I really like the idea of receiving lifetime commissions from those we refer. I think anyone who is eligible can claim their $25 USD PayPal reward within their first 30 days. Hungry people can most likely claim their first reward within a week. The offer is only available to Australians and several other countries. This offer is not worldwide. The second on our list is grabpoints. We can refer as many new members as we like to this site. However, the bonus points can only be claimed once for each new member. Sometimes I feel that it's not even worth mentioning, but we have the ability to earn pocket money with them. Every dollar counts in this game.

The last on this list with the most limited referral system by far is myopinions. We can invite five friends to claim our bonus points. Once those five friends have successfully registered or have been verified, that's game over. No more referral system. We don't really join these websites to be an affiliate though. We're earning real money online by completing online surveys. I'm having no problems earning $20 AUD every 2-3 days with myopinions. That's around $200 AUD every month or more. When we run out of opportunities for the day at myopinions, we can then move onto grabpoints. However, I'm really liking swagbucks because it actually feels fun to visit their website. I feel that grabpoints could be replaced by swagbucks in the long run.

What else can we talk about? We can talk about the extra features available at these online surveys sites. I mentioned earlier about myopinions and their loyalty status. We can also refer five friends to them. They usually email us when a new survey becomes available. We receive some points to those surveys we are disqualified from. Most online surveys sites already offer these perks though. All three websites on review today can send out emails, offer points to disqualified surveys, and a referral system. What makes myopinions different? Surveys just for Australians. We don't qualify for every survey, but the chances of completing a survey are much higher. The PayPal reward is almost instant once we reach 2000 points.

Let's talk more about grabpoints. What makes grabpoints different to the other two? The extremely small yet satisfying 3000 points or PayPal reward of $3 USD. The points are usually approved within 1-2 days. All three websites are available for Australians. What else can we say that is worth visiting grabpoints? We can do much more than simply answering surveys. We can watch videos, play games, and complete offers. I've tried out the other tasks, but completing surveys is much more simple and rewarding. I also don't want to be spending money that I'm trying to save to start my own blogging website. It is tempting though to spend money while playing games and completing offers. Stay focused and stick to our goals.

We haven't spent as much time on swagbucks, but we're really liking their whole program. Completing surveys, shopping with discounts, lifetime referral commissions, and fun activities or daily tasks. The point of taking online surveys was to earn money and then send this money to my PayPal account. These funds would then be used to start my own blogging website. Starting my own blogging website is not for free. Last couple of posts I've been talking about numbers. The problem with international surveys is that we can be introduced to many rejections or disqualifications. I like MyOpinions because the surveys are more focused for Australians. We can earn more points at GrabPoints by downloading and installing apps on our smartphone. I find surveys more reliable though.

I'd like to say that completing online surveys are less disappointing. Another pointless task is watching videos. These have got to be the most worthless tasks available. Simply not worth clicking or opening a new page for them. Compared to doing online surveys, simply watching short video clips are not nearly as rewarding. Over the months, I would say that I've stuck with only a few mobile apps. Deleting apps that are deemed unworthy to be seen in my mobile. It's just not possible to keep installing apps because mobile phones or smartphones run out of memory storage.

Taking online surveys has to be one of the most easiest tasks available on the internet to earn money. Even better when they give us a PayPal option to redeem rewards. It won't make us rich, but it will help pay the bills. I'm actually looking for other ways to make money online because earning $80 AUD per week is proving to be quite the challenge with online surveys. $50 AUD per week looks like a more reasonable number taking online surveys. This is why I want to start my own blogging website. The ability to earn more money online. One of the perks of having my own website is having a unique email address. I've been shopping around for a good website hosting service. Not necessarily the best because of our low budget.

There's a few criteria that must be met before I start my own blogging website. Firstly, they must accept PayPal as a payment option. There was actually a website host I was reading about earlier that didn't provide this option. Even though they had good intentions, I wasn't buying their excuses. Please tell me why a premium service cannot or does not want to partner with PayPal? Something seems fishy if they only accept Credit Card payments or whatnot. I feel that they don't understand me. I want to use PayPal and that's what I will do. Maybe in the future I will change my mind, but I can't trust a company that doesn't provide or accept other forms of payment. It doesn't make sense to me. They must be worried about all those fees.

The second on this list is having my own email address for the domain website. It just seems ridiculous that a website host provider will not give us an email address as a default. Even worse when it is considered an added feature that must be paid for. I wouldn't exactly call an email a special feature. I would think this was a basic or standard feature of owning a website. This loses our sense of authority for owning a website and also a sense of being ripped off. The third criteria that must be met is a blogging platform that can be installed on our website. The most popular right now would have to be WordPress. In summary we want to be able to pay with PayPal, have an email address from the domain, and write our blog on the WordPress platform.

The last two posts have been more about telling others about two websites to take online surveys. The first being about MyOpinions and the second being GrabPoints. I don't really get paid much for posting my referral links in those pages. Getting paid could be instant or it could take days. I would cry if they took weeks to pay us.

These numbers would stress most people out. I know I would have problems in the long run if I were to aim for 11000 points every day by just doing surveys online. However, earning 3000 points to cash out our $3 USD every working day would be much more relaxing. It usually takes me 2-3 hours to earn 3000 points. This means earning 11000 points is not impossible. It is doable, but we can easily burn out or get tired from doing surveys online. Expect to work overtime trying to reach our goals. I find the opportunities are better though. I haven't tried working more than 8 hours in a day doing surveys yet, but it would be interesting to know if the surveys do run out. I can hear other people calling out in my head that we're crazy to be working for peanuts. The minimum hourly wage in Australia is almost $19 AUD and we're spending the whole day trying to earn $18 AUD. We are unemployed and have no guaranteed income, but having to rely on friends and family. I'm in a situation where I can't receive any government benefits, but still proud to be an Australian citizen. My success story begins once I start earning $400 Australian dollars every month. I've tried many other things online to get paid, but having my own blogging website again is something I've been wanting for a while. I continue to fail, but have not given up. I've been looking around or searching for many websites online that could get me started with earning a bit of money online every month. The website that I will refer to today is MyOpinions for Australians. This works for me because I live in Australia. Once I earn over 2000 points, the reward is $20 AUD cashed out straight into my PayPal account almost instantly. The clickable links within this post are affiliate links. This means I will get rewarded a bonus for referring others, however, this is limited to only five new members. There is an identification process to pass when creating a new account. I noticed that my account got verified much quicker than expected after gaining 2000 points in a couple of days.

Don't expect to be doing surveys for MyOpinions all day. Once the surveys run out for the day, I would suggest doing something else to spend your time. We do get notified every now and then that a new survey has arrived through email. I like the surveys that wants to ask for my opinion about new movies that have yet to come out. Sometimes we get surveys from the government. Many surveys are about products related to consumers. There are surveys available for practically anyone. Even for those who are unemployed. This company is purely surveys online. Sometimes there's opportunities to record yourself in video through your webcam, but I prefer to skip that. Let's talk a little about myself and what got my here. A few years ago, I decided to start my own website just for fun. Meaning that I wasn't actually making any money blogging. I was too busy playing games like World of Warcraft and Diablo 3. We have a little confidence to say that anything more than 10 years ago is kind of irrelevant now in our career. I've had a few jobs, most of which was customer service related in the retail industry. I did enjoy my time working for the government though. Nothing wrong with being a public servant. Only one thing is for certain right now. I'm saving up some money to start another blogging website. Third time's a charm they say. I've already failed twice and add a few hiccups along the way. If I could earn at least $10 per day with my new website then I would call that an achievement. The good thing about running my own website is that it works while I sleep. I guess this is close to what people call passive income. Not entirely passive because we still have to work. Not sure how many blog posts I'd have to do every week, but at least we have a goal of earning at least $10 per day.

My daily routine usually starts around 7:00am and ends around 3:00pm. That's a good 8 hours every day. Don't really want to work in the weekends. I spend most of my time at home in front of the laptop. We're screwed if we don't have any internet. We're also moving house in a couple of months. Hopefully, we'll have internet at our new home by then. We're still running our internet on an ADSL2+ plan with a landline bundle. I don't really use my landline though. The connection is always being interrupted when someone calls the landline. Funny thing is that the only one who calls is my internet service provider (ISP) and that's really annoying. Looking forward to connecting to the National Broadband Network (NBN).

Having a new website is going to be a challenge. There's so many things to think about. I think we're going to need to put some effort in social networking. Not even sure what we're going to be talking about yet. We will be blogging about something and that's for sure. What do entrepreneurs normally do anyway? There's so many ways to make money online. I don't really want to be doing drop-shopping. Well, at least I know what I don't want to be doing. I don't have much problems writing a blog post every now and then. Content is king as they say.
