In fact, blogging is so big, they now call it the blogosphere. Why are blogs so popular and how can you promote your blog to gain readers? After all, if there is no one reading your blog, what's the point in writing all that info, right? First we'll talk about why blogs are so popular these days, how businesses cash in on bloggers, and why they are in demand. Then I'll tell you ways you can get readers to head over to your site and read your info.

Blogs are a great way for anyone to express themselves. Many of them tend to be centered on a certain subject or genre. If Mary Sue just had a baby and she can't wait to tell all of her family and friends every detail of little Henry's life, she might start a blog. If Janie is a fashion guru, she might start a blog about fashion. Why is this important to businesses? Because if Mary Sue starts gaining a lot more readers than just her friends and family, they now have a targeted audience. Companies that sell baby stuff want Mary Jane's readers to see their ads. They may give Mary Sue a free item to review and write about on her blog. Same with Janie. There is tons of info out there and you can learn it.

Another way to promote your blog is to sponsor your own giveaways and promote them in social media like facebook, twitter, and blog networks like Mom Bloggers Club. You might want to start small and do a $10 Amazon.com gift card giveaway. These are super easy to give because once you get a winner, you can just email them the card. Even more popular are $25 gift cards to places like Target, Amazon, or Bed Bath & Beyond. You are the one financially supporting these, so only do what you can do. Before too long, you'll be giving away other people's things. But to get started, you may have to put up some of your own money. I gained over 50 google friend connect followers in one week with a $25 giveaway, and I had over 700 entries to the giveaway.

I know above I mentioned blog networks. This is another good way to promote your blog. Get involved with networks like Mom Bloggers Club and Blog Frog. You'll network with other bloggers and get the word out. Speaking of which, sometimes when you want something, you've got to give something. In this case, you want readers and followers, so you should read and follow other blogs. You can leave a short comment saying that you are a new follower and you'd love the blogger to visit you and follow back. This is not the time to make demands or threats ( like "follow me back or I'm going to un-follow you.)

In any case, just keep plugging away! Anything you do online takes TIME. You're not typically going to have 10,000 readers after one month of blogging. But, after one month of my new blog I do have over 1,000 readers. I can't wait to see what it will be after one year! Have fun with your blog and blog for yourself. The perks and benefits will come. If you have a blog and you are anything like me, you sometimes get stumped for what to write about. Maybe you just aren't feeling particularly inspired or maybe you are just having one of those weeks where you're too crazy busy to really sit down and write.

You should know that there are lots of other ways to come up with content for your blog without having to either 1) be completely original or 2) have your post be in the form of the written word. Let's look at five ways to generate content when you start feeling stuck:

1) Guest posts. I've both guest posted on others' blogs as well as had people guest post on mine. Don't be afraid to approach bloggers in a niche that's complimentary to yours to ask if they would like to write a post for your blog. You will want to offer to return the favor for them in most cases, but it's a nice way to change things up for your own readers by showcasing someone else's writing style.

2) Other people's articles. There are a lot of great article sites out there with tons of excellent content. Most of them allow you to use the articles on your own site-as long as you include the resource box at the end of them which includes the author's information and website link. You can search by category to find articles suitable for the focus of your blog. Some examples of good article sites include Ezinearticles, Goarticles and Ideamarketers.

3) Create a video post. Video is truly the next (if not current) frontier online and it's absolutely bigger than ever. Simple video cameras like The Flip are inexpensive and super easy to use. Now, as you already know there are so many information on make money online, that said again and again...

If You Want To Make Money Online Find Something You Are Passion In And Go For It !

Why ?

Here's why: If your passion is collecting old clocks, tell me who the hell will listen to your old clock stories if you wanted to start a blog, come on... this passion has very least of success.

But, do you know this two big medium are really two different kind?

In terms of money earn at the very top, internet marketing is always earning much much more then just blogging online.

What's their different?

Here's what:

There are too many including me, got confuse between this two big medium in the beginning which leads to what most people always said...

When you really doesn't know where you are heading, you will usually learn how to blog first, start an autoresponder and start building up your list and in the end, you start learning how to get more subscriber when you heard everyone said...

The Money Is In The List !

Look: There are many ways in learning how to really make money online, you can use blog to build readers, friends and customers and you also can use just a squeeze page to build your list of subscribers, fans and customers.

It is all up to you to choose which medium you want and finally which online strategies you want to use to build an empire online.

Hard To Choose And Hard To Plan ?

Here's how I do it (Remember this is just an example) :

If I want to be a blogger, here's how I go for it...

Blogger ---> Build A Blog ---> Build Targeted Traffic ---> Build Potential Readers + Subscribers ---> Use Advertising Ad Spot ---> Write Reviews ---> Do Freelancing (If you had expertise in any field).

If I want to be an online marketer., here's how I go for it...

Online Marketer ---> Build A Squeeze Page ---> Build Targeted Traffic ---> Build Subscribers + Fans ---> Use Email To Build Relationship ---> Use Email To Introduce Products ----> Do Affiliate Marketing ---> Create Product Launch Process.

The above is just an example, you should build a bigger mind map, and look at which road to move and which road to concentrate, and this is what I call...

Planning !

Now, let me show you an example of a mind map that I had drawn from an online marketers point of view.

I learn this from Frank Kern, Russell Brunson And Mike Filsaime on planning of a sales process of how to earn from all back end products.

This may not be the same as what they are doing, but is just my ideal how sales process are being plan.

How's that for an ideal?

Whether or not it works is just an ideal that came to my mind while writing this.

Anyway, by now you should be very clear which path you did like to choose, just make sure you draw yourself a mind map and really study it and take one step at a time to get nearer to what you want to achieve.

Not everybody who has a blog could succeed in this online business. You could keep a low profile blog, make money, and that's just about it. But you could only get so much, it wouldn't satisfy your daily living expenses. Nevertheless, if you really would want to make this your primary source of income, you need to be tech savvy and master the various computer languages and online tools.

As a final point, you are still very much encouraged to put up your own blog site even if you are just starting small. After all, a little goes a long way, right?
