Yeah, you're probably wondering where I've been...
Then again, probably not, but since you're here I'm going to tell you anyhow.
Sort of.

One day, I'll buckle down and just launch a vlog channel...
But I'm not enough of a camera whore (anymore, lol).

I'm back in GA/TN! Yes, I'm literally in both states at once. I cloned myself (lol, I wish).
I've been perusing Facebook as a normal person (riiiiight) and then today, I learned that I had a Tumblr account. It's apparently connected to my Instagram account, so I'm thinking I'm gonna start using my SmartPhone again. (lol)
I've gotta make some more money first. I seem to make all of my money at once and then, no matter how much I try to save it and be frugal, it never seems to last quite long enough. :P Story of my life. I don't even buy anything (that I don't absolutely need... Like food... I NEED food. Every day, all of the time... I'm a fat girl on the inside <

As a side note: I've been figure modeling for Stan at Townsend Atelier again.

Anyhow, I'm getting off tangent. Is it bad that I want to go to school again primarily for the fact that if I get the certification I'll get a discount at my favorite cosmetic store??? It's not the ONLY reason, mind you... Just the... Main one. Today. Again, off subject. I've had a lot of muffins today, so I'm probably rambling.

I promised I'd show up at my friends event tomorrow, so I'm pretty excited about that.

She's hosting a Casting Call tomorrow at the Marriot Convention center, and though I've never been to a casting call, she invited me herself, so I'm more than happy to oblige her. ^_^
Also, there's a car auction there tomorrow, right before her event, so I get to kind of go on a some-what-of-a date-type-thing/outing with my love. ♥

I'd tell you about all of the beautiful jewelry I've been making, but I can't trust those rich assholes not to steal my ideas and get rich(er) off of them, so I'm keeping it to myself until otherwise noted. But, to say the least, I'm damn-good at fashion design.

And the great thing is:

I don't have to hire someone or steal ideas to make it look like I know what I'm doing.
I just happen to know what I'm doing.

And I owe it all to myself, and my wicked awesome neighbor for lending me the tools. ^_^

In other news, and because I'm tired of typing, I'm making plans to spend Beltane with some friends around the bonfire we're going to have down at our property. I probably won't update again until then (unless something magnificent happens, lol). The wantonness to host the event was primarily inspired by A) My love for paganism and B) Attending the Euphoria event/rave for a night last week. It was my first event of that kind, but not my first time being in that kind of environment. I guess I never knew that kind of environment had a title. Haha!

Anyhow, I had 2 wrists full of Kandi and I figured out where the Mayans and Aztecs got the inspiration for their blocky and symmetrical artwork and designs. Too bad I'm allergic to rye.
That last sentence was almost an inside joke. I do that a lot.

My lover is a godsend. Went to buy a new bra today and discovered that I've been wearing the wrong size for who-knows-how-long now. Apparently, I'm no longer a B cup, but a D cup. 32" D... You should have seen the look on my face in the dressing room. 100 lbs, with a D cup... Pure astonishment. It's gonna take a while to get used to... Explains a lot of the back problems though.

I got so excited that I called my mom on the way to the grocery store to tell her about it. She admitted to wondering if they were real when she'd see photos of me, and asked me if they were store-bought or self-grown, and then we wound up having a conversation about how guys would always ask me the same thing in high school ("R Y3r B3wbs fak3???"). And they always got the same response:
"What!? No... Wait, why!?"

Anyhow, I still don't believe it. Maybe it was just miss-tagged? Hrm... We shall see.

Also, I have the coolest, most compassionate boss in the world.When things go terribly wrong on either end of business, he effortlessly accepts the damages and then goes about patching them, even if it's not 1% his fault. Why can't all bosses be like that? Honest and giving and 'ish (all while still maintaining that 'G4L' vibe)?

I guess while I'm on the subject, I should also mention that my coworkers are the 'ish too. There aren't many of them, but hey - the fewer the better at the moment. (lol) The ones that are affiliated are more than worth their weight in gold. Good peeps, man. Good peeps (and I don't mean that godawful candy bird-crap).

In other news, since I've finally semi-sttled into a place in No Ho, I've begun digging out my old sewing projects and preparing new ones. Haven't dug the sewing machine back out just yet, but it's coming... Soon. Soon.
I still have to sell some of the things I HAVE made.
But until then, I've got something that might be even more entertaining for you. :o

Sooo~

I have nothing else to do right now.

Well... I do, but I don't want to do any of that.

I'm embracing a running streak of not being sick (ahem, SCORE).

I want to bake (as in, Cornbread, pizza, etc., lol),

but I really don't feel like cleaning up.

That's all I've done today. The salt was a bitch...

And to top it off, I had JUST cleaned everything up before it spilled everywhere.

In other news, while I hang out in the parking lot, I finally got Instagram. Speaking of #hanginout, I got to 'Hang Out' with Kosha (and co.) a few days ago during the filming of his latest epic video.

I know, I know...
It's been ages since I've been around.

But! Guess where I'm at? *giggles*

The funniest thing happened yesterday,

I was behind the grocery store and these two girls showed up walking towards me from around the corner across the parking lot. Suddenly, one stopped in her tracks and ran full force towards me with one hand waving madly in the air. I thought for a moment, 'Do I know this chick??' As it turns out, she thought I was Rihanna. Weird, right? And making it all the more unbelievable, I was leaving the grocery store the day before, as I headed to the vehicle, a group of guys passed by me in the parking lot. I didn't think anything of it until I heard one call out, "Rihanna!" I stopped entirely and began to look around, like, "Shit! Where! :D" That was when I noticed: They were looking at me. WTF???

Twice in one week??

Never in my wildest dreams could I have thought up some stuff like what's been going on for the past... Year (plus some, hahaha). I'm just taking it "day by day" as I always say, and somehow I always seem to accidentally make magic out of it all. Whodathunkit?

Anyhow, just thought I'd drop a note.

I'm not dead (yet, lol), I'm just...

On the road. ♥
And of course that means I had to cook up a storm of goodies before I left.

At first, it sounded entirely too hard to describe myself in such few words, but think I got the point across after a moment of thought:

Aside from all the Drake, Sia, & Rihanna I've been drowning myself with, I've also had Nicki Minaj and Beyonce's new albums filling my ears. It's been like being whipped in to shape by Rihanna, while Beyonce teaches and lectures, and Nicki's just going off until my eyes get big, after which Drake softly scolds me into place so I can lick my wounds. And then Sia's there to wrap me in cotton. Or... something like that... >_>; Speaking of Rihanna and Nicki, my lover asked me,
"If you could make passionate love to one celebrity, who would it be?" I blushed, and finally said, "Well... It's a tie between Rihanna and Nicki Minaj..." We both blushed. ^_^;

Dreams:
Yeah~ I've been sleeping really weird, and having the oddest dreams. I even had a dream with Nicki Minaj and Freestyle Fellowship in it... And lots of rain before a premier. It's a long story. >_< If you don't ask you won't get unbelievable answers... I have to say though, the dream with them in it was WAY less weird than attending Marilyn Monroe's belated birthday party with my deceased grandpa. Yeah, like I said... No questions, no weird answers. Moving on~

Making Stuff:
I still... Haven't been able to sew. Everything is elsewhere right now. It's driving me mad. I haven't even gotten to draw since I've been here. Fucking SUCKS. Sucks dry dog food. I know last year I spent most of my time A) Being sick, and B) Modeling on the rare occasion that I actually felt well enough to do so, but to be honest, I don't care if I can't model for another YEAR. I'd rather be back to my old self, making stuff and doing things.

I'm pretty sure that since feeling so much better this year I'll actually be able to do everything I've been wanting to and more, but if I've got to choose? I think art and poetry deserve a year since modeling got one almost all to itself. Sewing goes in the art category btw. ^_^;

However, I have actually been writing a bunch this summer. I've been working on some stories I began a while ago. One I started back in 2008 about vampires (sort of, haha), and another that I started just last April based 1st in India, and then it moves to the USA. I did a few touch-ups and what-not on some other things I began writing years ago, but I'm going to try to focus on the main 2 right now. Other than that, I've just been writing poetry and songs (as usual) and trying to figure out what I really want to put all~ of my efforts into. But... More on that later. ^_^;

I finally got to weed out most of the old stuff from the old blogs (elsewhere). Finally. *wipes sweat from brow* Phew!
It was truly wonderful reading all of the old entries (despite how effin' long it took - 2 days to be more exact). I don't really know what else to say except that so~ much has happened in the last few years, that I've got to update everyone on the 'dramatics' (hardy-har-har-har). ^_^;

What have I been up to in the last couple of months? To say the least, I spent lots of time with a little one, he's 5: Teaching him to cook, skateboard, and how to write his name and spell other things. I've watched way too many old movies (it IS summer after all, haha), and I've still been writing poetry when I can, and eating until I fall asleep, and listening to Drake's "Take Care" album, Rihanna's "Talk that Talk" album, all of Sia's Albums (♥) and Corrinne Bailey Rae's 1st album.

After being so sick all last year (and the years before that, just unknowingly), and after having been in the ER so many times over the allergy, I can finally say: I feel so... So much better.

Can't wait to move (again, again, again~ lol) so I can start sewing again...
Oh! And so I can give a bit more of an update. :P

A while back I got the chance to work with the oh-so talented Isaac Klotz, and the wickedly-unwritten Freestyle Fellowship. This music video was the vivid, and eclectic result.

The holey, cheetah-print pants adorned with chains were made by me the night prior to the shoot. Unfortunately they ripped on the set that night so I couldn't keep them. But, gah! You should have been there for THAT moment! ROFL I'm sure the director got an eye-full (sorry~ lol).

As it turns out, when I had my ex-seamstress finished hemming and seaming everything for me, she took the lazy route, and not only missed the seam mark by over half an inch, but also incorrectly seamed the crotch. Go figure. I'll do it myself from now on. :p No harm done though, I got the job done, and had fun doing it!

I had a great time working with everyone. A few people (not in the group) that I can't help but mention each time I speak of this would be: Trevasia Walls, for her energy and wit. It kept me going when the wind was cutting at my bare skin. The night was cold and cold weather can kill morale. Not with this girl around! ^_^ Two other fantastic people I met that night was: Orlando Collins. He was so friendly, polite, and funny. And also, a friend of his named Lehn Kessen - A fluent speaker of French (a language I've always wanted to learn).

I can't name everyone I met due to the limited time spent on the beach that night around the bonfire (the names of the pitbulls, or the guy who owned them - or for example, the name of the guy that reminded me of Drake that I had the Gluten Free chat with, etc). But I'll never forget that night or the people involved.

Just thought I'd greet you with a photo from my incredible experience with Moritz Maibaum, Ophelia Overdose, and Paindancer Productions the other day. : ) Ophelia and Moritz are visiting California, and I got the opportunity to shoot with them. The photo above is just one of the many gorgeous shots taken that night.

Wahoo!

In case you haven’t heard for one reason or another, I went to shoot with Craig Barrington in Oak Ridge, TN to be a part of his new syrup series. I got to play with giant ornaments…

Naked. Haha!

The ribbons kind of restricted my range of posing, and there were a ton of nip-slips, but it was a ton of fun, and colorful to boot! Later, I got covered in syrup and got to put pretty colors in my hair. And you guys know, I’m all about pretty colors.

I snapped a pic in the bathroom before I washed it all off. But it got all in my hair, and stuck to places on my neck and ears. Ugh! All in all it was a fun, productive shoot.

He sent me various renditions of some of the shots.

Hi everyone!

I know I've been away for a while. I have my reasons. ^_^

But none of that is important right now. Whats important, is a very muchly deserved and needed update.

Alrighty, if you don't already know me in MySpace, and if you don't follow me on Twitter, then you probably don't know that I've moved.

I have been doing a TON a traveling lately so I've got a bunch of fun photos to show everyone once I get the final website all pushed out! I'm so excited. ^_^

Oh, I'll be getting a business number you can all reach me at as well. And I'm talking to a few agencies... I don't really know if I'm ready to stop being a total freelance model, just yet... I'm psyched about it anyhow. (lol) *does a dance*

Happy Imbolc

(also Imbolg, or Oimelc, or St. Bridgets day)!

In case you didn’t already know, I love pagan holidays. Sow-un (a.k.a. All Hallows Eve/Halloween Day/The Harvest Festival) being my ultimate favorite. 2 other holidays come in on a close second as far as my favorites go. Both of them being closely related.

Imbolic is a festival celebrating the coming of spring, and your fertility. According to wikipedia, it is most commonly celebrated on the 1st, or 2nd of February – Despite the fact that the Old Calendar says it’s on the 12th. I prefer to celebrate it on the 2nd, because that was the original date I learned to celebrate it on.

The festival commonly consists of dancing, songs, and a feast. I don’t think I’ll prepare a feast, but I do plan on baking a cake! I’ll take pictures of it and show you later.

My other favorite holiday – the one that ties in with this one – is Valentines day. I’ve always believed that whether you’re taken by someone or not, that Valentines day should be heralded as a day to exhibit love to all those you meet. Rule #1 is smile no matter what, and Rule#2 is emit warmth.

Now, some people are going to think my admiration of these holidays supremely odd. Especially considering the fact that I was raised in Baptist Christian surroundings. *shrugs* I guess whatever happened there, is similar to what happened to me being a black girl that loves punk rock music. Always expect the unexpected. I do have Irish in my history after-all. Ha-ha!

I Got to Meet the Zero/Mystery Team (Jan 5th, 2010) !

Not much to say in this blog, just a tad bit of exciting info that you already heard about if you were following my twitter account or knew me on MySpace.

A whole line of the guys at the signing in Chattanooga, TN. The long-haired one is a friggin’ DOLL! Aww, Tom Asta is a cutie.The Skater of the Year (2005 and 2009) himself. Sean (Popi) and Chris Cole.

Sorry! No pictures of me with the team. Honestly, I was just ready to go back home! I sat in the car with Justin and Sean FOREVER trying to avoid the swirling cold winds outside. When the crowd finally lightened up, we made out way in (despite our ‘relationship’ with the owners of the shop that held the signing, lol). We got about 5 or 6 big posters signed by the entire crew and then we got a board signed by everyone as well. :) I kind of had fun. I mean, where else are you accidentally going to catch a whole line of guys staring at your cleavage? Haha!

In Oak Ridge w/Craig Barrington – Dec. 6th, 2009

Wahoo!

In case you haven’t heard for one reason or another, I went to shoot with Craig Barrington in Oak Ridge, TN to be a part of his new syrup series. I got to play nude with giant ornaments…

The ribbons kind of restricted my range of posing, and there were a ton of nip-slips, but it was a ton of fun, and colorful to boot! I got covered in syrup and got to put pretty colors in my hair. And you guys know, I’m all about pretty colors.

I snapped a pic in the bathroom before I washed it all off. But it got all in my hair, and stuck to places on my neck and ears. Ugh! All in all it was a fun, productive shoot.

He sent me various renditions of some of the shots (as you can see).

Well, I’ve got to go play Crash Bandicoot Nitro Cart (oldies! rofl), so I’m outies for today. Catch me later this week when I update you with:

In ATL with Ben/BRC Photos & Jadaque, Oct. 18th, 2009

I had a pretty awesome day with a photographer I met via my modeling profile on MM. We shot from about 2pm until about 12am, so it was most definitely an all day shoot.
We shot out in the woods in a huge park 1st.
And then we changed outfits…
And then changed outfits again.
And then we went to this huge 30,000 square foot building, and I got to change again…
And again…
And again.
Oh! And there were baby carrots, and chewy bars, and apples, and bottled water! The snacking was pretty epic. And had I not been so busy, I would have left full of fruits, veggies, and chocolate chip chewy’s.

In other news, Sean took the little piece of wood I’ve been putting in front of my doorway to keep the girls (Molly and Celeste) out. So, now my room is uber cold at night because I keep the door closed all day.
My only refuge? Curling up in my satin bed set, and my big faux-down blanket!

I’m a Busy Bee! Er… Cheetah.

Suddenly...
I've got a lot to do!
I’ve begun to schedule photo shoots again, and boy has today (and yesterday) been a busy one! In fact, yesterday might just beat today's activities out. But I’m only saying that because of this random dog that ran out in the middle of rush hour traffic. Sean and I were going to try to stop the dog and put him in the car, but before we got to some other guy tried the same thing and the dog almost ran out into the street again.
In fact he DID run out into the street again, but this time he ran all the way across the road and down the street.
As far as photo shoots go, I’ve planned one photo shoot with an amazing photographer in ATL on the 18th of October, and another photo shoot with a very notable, just as amazing photographer in Nashville this coming week! How exciting! I’ve also got one more shoot in planning that should take place in ATL… I, THINK. It' should be a DVD, and no I won’t be naked. Not in the DVD at least. But before we schedule anything, I have to send some stuff off. Haha! The things you go through to get what you want! *sigh*

I’m really hoping this leads to many more exciting, adventures.
Speaking of adventures, I’m deciding whether or not to head to the skate park tomorrow (Saturday) with Sean, so I can get Summer on film again.

Oh yeah~ I almost forgot! A good friend of mine, and a great photographer whom I’ve shot with a few times has hired me to do a pinup shoot with him. I’ll be sure to let everyone know how all of these photo shoots and what-not play out as things go along.

At this very moment. I am waiting for my new website to spawn itself. I already registered the domain name and everything, but it’ll take a while before it all updates all over the world. It’ll take a day or two before my little username pops up as website. Haha!

I am so excited!
