Sports Makeup & Hair

Hello Everyone! How's your Monday? For me, it's great! I played golf with my husband. This is my first time to play on the course because before I just play on the practice range. I'm not a professional player. I'm just starting to learn this sports. Well, I think I'm gonna like it more because it requires lots of walking & swinging which I really need in order to loose some fats hahah without to much body pains...So enough for telling what happened. I decided to share this simple & quick makeup and hair look. What I did is I applied Pond's Flawless White Visible Lightening day cream all over my face and neck for luminous and flawlessly radiant look that's also protect from the sun's UVA/UVB rays, for my lashes I used L'Oreal telescopic Explosion mascara, Wet n Wild Eyeliner pencil in white on my waterline,finished it with Revlon Colorburst lipstick in peach and a rose pink blush. Then for my hair I just did a bow bun with elastic sparkling scrunchy and bobby pins. Here's a video tutorial from Lina Maria: Bow Bun.

Mine is a little smaller because of my hair length.

My Quarter Century Birthday !!!

I can't believe that time flies very fast and I'm officially quarter century older now. I still feel like a teenager and sometimes like I've been trough all difficulties in life. This is the first time I celebrated my birthday away from my family in Philippines, actually I felt a little bit emotional the day before my birthday because I missed them. But I'm still happy because my husband is always on my side comforting and loving me. I'm still very happy because I received surprises from him yesterday. My sweet Aunts from California gave me a call and greeted me as well as some friends. Well, I don't want to detail all what happened, I'm still very happy at the end of the day because of those people who care & love me. ♥-♥ I hope and I pray that God will continue His blessings, guidance and allows me to achieve all my dreams and goals in life.

My husband and I went to a Pan Asian restaurant.

DIY: Lace Earrings

Ola! everyone.

So today I decided to do a DIY lace earrings. It's super inexpensive and still glamorous.

Here are the materials you'll need:

You’ll need:

-lace trim or a lace doily

- clear nail polish ( you can also use Elmer’s multi-purpose glue)

- a bowl or measuring cup (if you gonna use multi purpose glue)- a pair of ear wires- a pair of pliers/a pair of scissors

1. Cut the lace in your desired style or shape with scissor.

2. Coat it with clear nail polish to make it stiff. (For the all purpose glue: mix it with water in equal parts.Submerge the cut shapes into the glue mixture. Using the side of the bowl, squeeze out as much excess liquid as possible. Lay the pieces down on a flat non stick surface.)

3After a few hours of drying, attach stiffened lace onto ear wires using pliers.

And walla! Here's the finish product ^_^

I'll be making more of this in different styles.

So here's my first attempt of Gyaru (means = gals ) makeup. Gyaru girls are fashion-conscious and are always up-to-date on their appearance, including hairstyle, clothing, accessories, nails, and makeup. They always dress and redress to impress.

Getting Started:

Gyaru girls have a few features in common. To adopt the gyaru look, you’ll need:

1) Porcelain skin, meaning a smooth, even complexion. Use makeup if you must (most gyaru girls do, anyway).

2) Eye makeup: A major feature of a gyaru girl is her large, doll-like eyes. You want to emphasise your eyes. Girls on a budget, you can start off with eyeliner and a pair of false eyelashes.

3) Dolly circle lenses enlarge your iris, and, as a result, make your eyes look bigger.

4) Nice nails: If they’re painted, they shouldn’t be chipped. If they’re plain, keep them clean.

5) Bling: On your cell phone, in your hair, on your nails, bling is your friend.

6) A closet of anything that looks good on you. Vintage can be “in.” If you look good, you’ll feel good. Gyaru girls do spend a lot of time on their appearance, but ultimately, they’re confident.

7) Inspiration: Take a look at fashion magazines and come up with a personal style. You can find loads of gyaru magazine scans. Find your own style with some help.

8) A soft spot for cuteness. Some gyaru girls keep cute plush toys, cute dresses, cute cell phone straps, everything cute!
