It's an odd yet hilarious experience. First and only restaurant I've been to where the staff make you high five them when the food arrives.

Aside from the entertaining waitstaff, the food here is really good, especially the pizza.

3 Concept Eyes [3CE] Creamy Lip Color

I picked up a few of the 3CE Creamy Lip Colors when I went to STYLENANDA. I can't fly all the way to Seoul and only pick 1 lipstick, can I?
3CE is a Korean cosmetics brand that I have been wanting to check out for ages. I might be a bit obsessed now hahaha.

I love the sleek black packaging of these lipsticks. Has a nice weight to it, feels rather luxe and shiny XD

I pretty much went ermahgerd once I swatched them. After couple trips to the store during our trip, I ended up with these 3 colors, amongst a few other things...xP

The lipsticks are super creamy and melty. They remind me of the YSL Rouge Volupte lipsticks. The pigmentation and lasting power are both excellent.
For such a creamy and moisturizing lipstick, these last a good few hours and even leaves a nice stain on the lips once the color wears off. What I really like is that even if the condition of your lips are less than ideal (chapped, dry, etc.), the lipstick still applies evenly and does not accentuate the dryness and lines.

#8 Ladi Dadi

This shade was recommended by the SA who was helping us. It was one of their popular shades and what the model was wearing in the ad.

Ladi Dadi is a muted fluorescent pink. For lack of a better description, it's similar to that very popular Cheon SongYi hot pink lip color that everyone is going crazy for.
I find myself reaching for this more than I thought I would. It's a versatile color. Also, once the lipstick wears off, you are left with a nice pink stain.

#4 Joyce

This one is a orange-coral. In the tube, it looks very orange but once applied it is a lot warmer.

I am not one who tends to wear bright lipsticks, but something about this color and Ladi Dadi makes them easily wearable for me.
I am rather crap at explaining colors so you'll just have to buy some and see for yourself lol.

#11 Love Hate

This one is my typical go-to pinky-nude lip color. I likely have a ton of dupes for this color but oh well. If I see a color like this, I will end up buying it.

All I can say is...I want more hahahaha
The pricing is very reasonable for such impressive quality. I paid about 19,000 won each, which is just under $20.

It looks like 3CE actually ships overseas so that is nice! Plus they have an English site. Nice again!

Lorac Pro Palette EOTD

Awhile ago when Ulta had a 20% off sale, I finally bought the Lorac Pro Palette.
I really like these types of big palettes, great for traveling (which I will be doing in 1 week's time. Woot!).

The palette is decently priced, $42 for the palette and a travel size of their eye shadow primer.

Comes with 16 shades. Ohhhh so pretty!

Top row: matte shadows
Bottom row: shimmery shadows

I did a quick smokey look with the palette. The shadows are very pigmented and blend easily.

I used the following colors for this look:

Garnet all over the lid
Taupe in the crease to contour
Deep Purple on the outer corner
Espresso to deepen outer corner (just a tiny bit)
Gold in inner corner to highlight

One downside is that the shadows are very powdery and soft so there is quite a bit of fallout. I just make sure to tap the excess off my brush so it's not that big of a deal.

I really like this palette, particularly due to it having more matte shades than the Naked palette. I really like the Garnet and Deep Purple shades. I love me some reds and purples!
Nice palette. Go buy it. XD

Burberry Lip Products

Many moons ago I purchased a few Burberry Beauty items whilst I was in Hong Kong. Due to my snail pace, I am reviewing the lip products now. I reviewed the Complete Eye Palette awhile back.

I purchased the Burberry Lip Glow in No. 08 Cameo. Retails for $27.

The formula is a nice consistency. It is a bit thick but not sticky, feels very comfortable and moisturizing on the lips. The thicker formula also means a longer wear time. It has a very faint soapy floral scent which dissipates shortly after application.

Cameo is a peachy orange shade that shows up as a redder peach color on my lips. It isn't extremely opaque but wears nicely on its own for a sheer wash of color. It also looks great over a nude lipstick.

I also purchased the Lip Cover in No. 23 English Rose. Retails for $30.
The Lip Covers have a soft satin finish.

English Rose is a rosy mauve color on my lips. It is a deeper shade than I typically buy but the color is very wearable on a daily basis.

The soft satin formula allows for a smooth and easy application. The color goes on semi-opaque and can be built up. I like that this lipstick gives a slight sheen so in the off chance that I am lazy (more often than you'd think), I can skip the gloss and still have a nice subtle shine on the lips.

As with the Lip Glow, the Lip Cover has a very subtle floral scent.

The formula of both lip products are great. Plus the packaging is very nice, as expected of Burberry. A nice pick-me-up when you feel like using something fancy XD

Innisfree Long Wear BB Cream

During one of my many shopping excursions in Seoul back in October, I purchased the Innisfree Long Wear BB Cream to try.

I like thicker BB creams that have higher coverage so this long wear formula seemed promising.
The product comes in a slim squeeze tube, rather minimal but good to travel with.

I got shade no. 2 Natural Beige. It is a pretty good match for my skintone. I recall shade no. 1 being too pink upon swatching.

The formula is very thick but doesn't look cakey upon application.

I really like the coverage it provides and as the name states, it is quite long wearing. I blot and touch-up with powder once day when using this and it holds up well throughout the work day. I wouldn't say it is as long wearing as certain long wear foundations, such as the Estee Lauder Double Wear, but it will last a good 12 hours without looking patchy or greasy.

I can't remember the price I paid but it was rather affordable, under $20.
The product claims to whiten, minimize wrinkles, & provide UV protection. I can't say I see any drastic whitening or wrinkle minimizing results solely from using this product.
But overall it is a good everyday bb cream for me. If you are someone who prefers a more lightweight bb cream, this is not it XD

Dim Sum in Hong Kong

I couldn't go all the way to Hong Kong and not have dim sum at least once. So on my last day, we went before I headed off to the airport.
Yes, we over ordered. No, we did not have any regrets xP

Hong Kong was fun. Any place with a surplus of places to eat and crap to buy is a winner in my book.

Hong Kong Trip: Day 4

Happy New Year!!!
So I pretty much forgot to finish recapping my Hong Kong trip, which happened nearly 8 months ago XD
Better late than never?

The fourth day started out with breakfast at a tiny and noisy place where we were forced to share tables with a stranger (common in Hong Kong, weird for me hahaha)
The food here was great though so worth sacrificing personal space!

Best HK style milk tea ever!

With a thick slab of butter in it, how can this not be good?

Next, we headed to Festival Walk, a huge shopping center in Kowloon Tong.

To refuel after shopping, we went to simplylife for some afternoon tea.
The cafe is located on level 2 of the shopping complex, near the food court.

With each afternoon tea set, you got to select a sandwich or cake.

Everything we ordered tasted pretty good.

I could really go for a slice of that epic chocolate tart right now...

Highly recommend this place. The atmosphere is very relaxing, good place to people watch since it is right above the indoor ice skating rink.
Or you can wander over and drool at the delicious cakes and breads XD

The line for afternoon tea at simplylife is long so plan ahead!

That evening we went to the Temple Street Night Market for some dinner.

I am not sure what the name of the restaurant is in English but the food here is so good! And very cheap too =]

This clay pot rice dish is a must order. The rice on the bottom gets crispy. Yum!

Fried oyster pancake was also one of their popular dishes.

After dinner, we walked to Nathan Road, which is nearby, for shopping and dessert.

Clio Gelpresso Pencil Liners

My favorite pencil liners are the Clio Gelpresso Pencil Liners. I picked up this set of minis when I was in Seoul.

This set is called the Bloody Series (the name could not be more off-putting).

It comes in a set of 5. Though they are minis, there is a good amount of product. I don't use pencil liners daily so these should last me awhile.

The pencils glide on smoothly and set rather quickly so if you want to blend them out, do it fast.
Once they set, they do not budge at all. I have never been able to use pencil liners in the past, the Urban Decay and Make Up For Ever ones all smudge on me. These pleasantly surprised me. And they last on the water line for quite a few hours too!

I like how this set has the basic black and brown as well as really pretty reds. I'm loving dark reds for the holiday season!

A nice little area in Sinsadong, Gangnam with lots of cute coffee shops, restaurants, and boutiques.

The people in this area are very good looking too. I recommend going and people watching hahaha

At 4AM, one would naturally crave some spicy ramen...

Conveniently there was a ramen shop open at this time of night/morning..right across the street from our hotel. I love Seoul!

Man this was spicy. Made my nose sniffley and my mouth numb.

I don't know what magical method was used but I will never be able to make it taste this good ToT

Nature Republic The First Whitening Sleeping Mask

One of the many items I picked up on my vacation was the Nature Republic The First Whitening Sleeping Mask. I had wanted a new sleeping mask and randomly sampled this while in store.
Due to limited luggage space (and buying too much stuff) I threw out the packaging.

Like other sleeping masks, you simply apply as the last step to your skincare regimen and leave it on overnight.

Ingredients: Yeast, Portulaca Oleracea Extract , Arctium Lappa Root Extract , licorice, Paeonia Lactiflora Bark/Sap Extract , Cnidium Officinale Root Extract , lavender, rosemary, Phellinus Linteus Extract , chamomile, Pueraria Thunbergiana , Althaea Officinalis extract

When I first opened the jar I was a bit weirded out seeing the bubbles on top. But this is due to the yeast in the product. So nothing to worry about!

It has a heavily perfumed floral scent but I quite like it. The texture is thicker than many of the water based sleeping packs I have tried. It leaves your skin dewy but not super sticky so you don't have to worry about it getting all over your sheets.
When I wake up the next morning my skin is well moisturized. However, I do not see any drastic whitening effects. I mainly use this as an extra step to moisturize since my skin tends to get drier during the colder months.
Nice basic sleeping mask but I probably won't repurchase since I like to try out different masks when I run out.

NARS And God Created The Woman Set

I purchased the NARS And God Created The Woman Set during Sephora's latest 15% off sale.
I figured with the discount it is a pretty good deal since the set comes with a brush and a mini Pro-Prime which is my favorite eyeshadow primer.

The palette is so tiny! It fits in the palm of my tiny hand. Perfect for travel.
Even though tiny I don't think I will even hit pan on any of the colors any time soon since I already have quite a few neutral palettes XD

The shadows are all neutral and not all that special but the quality is excellent.
I've never tried NARS shadows before and was very pleased with how well the colors complement each other.

The palette creates a nice smokey eye that isn't too intense.

Love the consistency of the shadows. Very easy to apply and blend out!

I wouldn't say this palette is a must-have but is convenient to have. Also it's a great way to try out NARS eyeshadows if you haven't yet. =]

Hong Kong Trip: Day 3

On our third day in Hong Kong, we headed over to Hong Kong Island.
We went to Times Square, which is a gigantic shopping complex.

After all the shopping, we wandered over to a market.
Bought some barbeque and roast pork to snack on!

So much fresh seafood errrrwhere.

For dinner we went to Under Bridge Spicy Crab Restaurant (such a weird name) which is much raved about by many.

Anthony Bourdain ate here so I thought I was super cool bwahahaha

We ordered the Under Bridge Spicy Crab. It tasted pretty good but it was kind of a ripoff. Not much to eat D:
Most of it was the fried garlic topping.

We also got the Deep Fried Mantis Shrimp which had the same spicy garlic topping.

The food here is not bad but I feel like it is overpriced and mainly for tourists.
Delicious food in Hong Kong can be cheap if you know where to go.

After dinner we went back to Kowloon and headed to Tsim Sha Tsui Promenade, where you can see the Hong Kong Skyline.
The view of Victoria Harbour is so pretty!

I don't really like to sightsee much so this fulfilled my sightseeing obligations for this trip XD

We arrived in time for the light show, which was kinda cheesy to be honest.
Nothing too amazing. I honestly thought there'd be fireworks ^o^

The weather was perfect that evening so it was great to just walk around the promenade and enjoy the view.

Obviously I got bored after 15 minutes and wanted to go get dessert bwahahahhaa

Sorry but touristy sightseeing bores me!

Nonetheless Victoria Harbour is rather lovely at night so it is a must-see!

Burberry Complete Eye Palette

I must say, the Burberry Complete Eye Palettes are quite pretty.
Let's just take a moment and ermahgerd over the pretty packaging.
The palette comes housed in a fancy velvet pouch that is embossed with the Burberry plaid. Fancy, eh?

The case is a nice weight, just holding it gives you the feeling that it is something fancy ^o^

I chose No. 07 Pink Taupe. It's a neutral palette but I was drawn to the rosey pink shade.

The shadows also have the Burberry plaid design.

The shadows are very smooth and nearly matte except for the lightest shade.
Super easy to blend and do not go on patchy like some matte shadows do.

Some photos of my eye because there have not been any for quite some time...

I love the taupe and pink shades in this palette. Creates a bit of a different neutral look. The pink adds a nice warmth when blended into the crease.

It's not a super unique palette that is a must-have but it's a good palette to have if you want to try Burberry shadows.

No. 07 Pink Taupe stood out to me as being a bit more unique compared to the other neutral palettes that Burberry has.

Whilst I was in Hong Kong, I wandered into a duty free department store and picked up some stuff at the Burberry counter.
The lady was very helpful and made me want to buy errrthang!

Hong Kong Trip: Day 2

On the second day the plan was to head to Tsim Sha Tsui.
For breakfast, had some tasty HK style french toast. Omg this was soooo good, especially when drenched in syrup.

Chicken noodles

We headed to Harbour City which is a huge shopping complex. It has like multiple malls within one mall. Got lost so many times.

There's some choclate exhibition going on at the time I was there.
So many of these chocolate-looking figures all over the complex.

There's also a Laduree.

Wow is it expensive to eat macarons in Hong Kong.
I was tempted by the pretty box *sigh*

I won't tell you how much this box cost hahaha =_=

Most of the stores in the malls at Harbour City are super high end.
I spent the longest time in the City Super, which is a supermarket ^o^

You can go outside and admire the lovely and smoggy view of the Harbour.
That gigantic building is the International Commerce Center.

The ferry terminal is located here, where you can take the ferry to Macau.

Afterwards, we went wandering around TST to do some shopping.
There was a Sasa on like every corner heeheee

For dinner I had a steak dinner. Classic HK style, served with pasta, black pepper sauce, and on a sizzling platter.
So good! I was too enamoured with my food so forgot to take photo of the other stuff we ordered.

Hong Kong Trip: Day 1

Herroooo!!
I took a short trip to Hong Kong last month. I hadn't been there since I was 7 so I was quite excited.

Arrived late in the evening. On the way to the hotel!

I stayed at the Langham Place Hotel in Mongkok. Thanks to Nunu's recommendation!
The hotel has an amazing location. Directly attached to the Langham Place Mall as well as the MTR station.

Service is good and the concierges are always super helpful...and quite good looking too bwahahhahaa ^_~

It was late but I was starving. My friend took me to this dinky restaurant near the hotel for some good Hong Kong food.
Of course had to get some HK milk tea.

I am not a huge steamed fish fan but damn this was tasty.

It was late and I was in zombie mode because did not sleep at all on the 13hr flight.
But still need to maximize shopping time so we explored the mall that was connected to the hotel.

Despite zombie mode, still had to get dessert!
Hong Kong is the holy land of mango desserts. Woot! XD
We went to Honeymoon Dessert, which is also conveniently located in the Langham Place Mall.
There are multiple locations all over Hong Kong I believe.

We managed to eat here every night before going back to hotel bwahahaha

I ordered the mango sago with pomelo. So yummy!!

Not too sweet. Also so cheap.

My friend ordered the black sesame soup...something. I forgot..I just know it's the super chinese looking one xP

Afterwards we were both too tired. So returned to our rooms for bed so we can be well energized for shopping and more eating the next day ^o^

Anna Sui Nail Color in 110

I picked up this gorgeous Anna Sui Nail Color a few months back.
The shade is 110, a dark indigo glitter polish with a jelly finish.
Isn't the design of the bottle pretty?

Like all Anna Sui cosmetics, this nail polish has a rose scent which some seem to hate.
I happen to love rose scented things so I am constantly sniffing my nails like a freak when I have this on.
The application is great, very smooth and opaque with 2 coats.

Tokyo Trip: Odaiba

Yes, I know I am super slow. Still posting about my Tokyo trip that I took months ago hahaha
On the last day we headed to Odaiba, an island in Tokyo Bay that has a ton of different shopping and touristy districts.
It has an awesome view of the Tokyo skyline. Finally put the panoramic photo option on my phone to good use XD

The Fuji TV building is so cool. The sphere shaped thing in the middle is apparently an observatory deck.
Aqua City, the building next to it has lots of shopping. Bought a few pieces of clothing for decent price there heeeheeee

The weather was perfect that day. So pretty!

See, I didn't just shop my way through Japan. Went outside to sightsee too ok =P

Diver City is the newest shopping complex in the area.
It is where the gigantic Gundam is.

Decided to stick around to catch the light show.
It was pretty cool but I thought he'd like lift off and fly around a bit. But no, he just moved his head and arms around.

Odaiba is huge and very spread out so it's nearly impossible to visit all the different areas in one day.
There is a free shuttle you can take to get around though.
I wanted to visit the Toyota Mega Web but was way too tired to find it hahaha

The next day, veryyyy early, we headed to the airport.
So early, caught the sunrise :O

Had an awesome time in Tokyo! XD

After a rather short but noisy plane ride that was filled with teenage girls on a school trip, arrived at the next destination :D

Tokyo Trip: Shibuya and Shinjuku

A trip to Tokyo would not be complete without going to Shibuya and Shinjuku.

There is a lot to see in both areas but I somehow managed to go to both in one day bwahahahhaa

The skills of marathon shopping ^o^

First stop was Shibuya!

Everything in here is way too frilly and lacey and pink for my taste.

Not really sure what the hype over this place is hahahaha

I did manage to get a nice jacket on sale at Cecil McBee though!

It was like the only thing that was black and not lacey or covered in bows.

At the train station waiting for train to Shinjuku.

I kept seeing this ad with this rather good looking man on it.

Who is he?!

And what is he selling? Shaving cream? Face cream? XD

Arrived in Shinjuku!

So I was too busy shopping to take pictures of stuff.

I had fried oyster set lunch. So good!

The oysters were huge.

If you plan it out wisely I think it is feasible to go to both Shibuya and Shinjuku in one day.

The stops are just a couple stops apart on the JR Yamanote Line.

I totally failed at taking photos on this day. I was rather preoccupied with the ridiculous number of shops and department stores, ok.

Lunasol Party Coffret 2012

One of the things I purchased on my recent trip to Taipei was the Lunasol Party Coffret.
I was going to get it when I was in Tokyo but decided to wait and check the price in Taipei. Good thing I did because the department store had its anniversary sale so I got a good discount *woot woot*

I've been wanting to try Lunasol for awhile and this LE set totally caught my eye *o*
I can't remember the exact price but it was about $70USD for the set.

I love the pouch!!! It is really good quality and can even pull it off as a real bag for a night out.

The palette included is the Party Eyes EX01 Shiny Gold Brown (yeah, wtf is up w/ the name XD)

I know it is just a basic neutral palette but omg so pretty.
The packaging is nice and sleek.
The shadows are neutral but have a nice shine that isn't too overly glittery.

The coffret also includes the Creamy Cheeks EX01 Beige Red.
No idea why it is called Beige Red when there is nothing red about it hahaha
It is a very natural peachy pink shade. Color is sheer but buildable.

Full Glamour Gloss N EX 22 Shiny Gold Beige Red
High Stylized Mascara N 01 Clear Black

Haven't gotten around to trying these two items yet.

Here's a look I did using the palette.
Love the golds and shimmery browns.

It isn't a must have palette since there are hundreds of other neutral palettes similar to this.
But the quality of the shadows are lovely. Very smooth and blendable.
I also like that they are not ridiculously shimmery like many Japanese shadows are.

I think that this is a great set for the price. Especially for someone like me who wants to try out some Lunasol products for the first time.
This set is limited addition so I am not sure if it is readily available anymore.
I got this at the Sogo department store in Taipei.

Tokyo Trip: Ikebukuro Sunshine City

My hotel was located in Ikebukuro Sunshine City, an area with lots of food and shops! I didn't even have to go outside to go shopping. Hotel was attached to the Sunshine City mall bwahhahaha

Ikebukuro Station is just a 10-15 minute walk away from Sunshine City. The area is always crazy crowded.

g.u. is awesome. Must check it out if you are in Japan. It has the same owner as Uniqlo :D
Very affordable and fashionable items.

We ate inside the mall a couple times during our trip. There are lots of different restaurants in the mall so if you are lazy and don't want to venture into the streets you'll still have many options.

This was ridiculously good. *o*

This omurice restaurant was great as well.

While I was in Tokyo I got a chance to meetup with Yumeko ♥

I was excited to finally meet her :D

Okinawan food for lunch.

After doing some shopping, we went to Namja Town for dessert.

It's sort of like an amusement park with games and stuff.

There is a mini desserts forest inside!

We sat there for hours and discussed many judgy things XD

Yumeko gifted me a crapload of stuff and put it all in this huge Rilakumma bag bwahahhahaha

Yes, I walked around all day with this while we shopped. Ain't no shame!
