Please allow me to welcome you to this blog in which I'll write about a well mixed variety of subjects which I'm sure will be interesting, informative and helpful to some and probably very controversial and shocking to others but I can guarantee you that I will do my best in order that they will rarely be dull or monotonous. At best you'll be surprised at what you will read and at worst you'll say to yourself that guy is an idiot, but at least I'll have succeeded in getting a reaction from you. Those opinions will be posted once a month on or closest to the first day. I wish you entertaining reading.

Guns kill people.

Q. Yes way ? No way ?

A. No way.

Who the hell am I to make such an affirmation? In my teens I’ve lived on a farm where there were two rifles (a ww1, 303 and a Winchester 30-30) and a 12 gauge shot gun that were used for hunting and to kill a cow in the fall, at butchery time. I’ll add to this that I have twenty-one years of military life behind me. This being said I feel amply qualified to treat the subject.

Are assault weapons necessary to protect your home? To anyone who answers yes I say that you’re full of shit. An assault rifle is an unnecessary toy, and a highly dangerous one, at that and should not be openly sold to anyone. The same must be said for large quantity shell magazines.

Did you ever notice that when a massacre like the one mentioned above happens, the first question that people ask is: ”What made him do that?” not: “What kind of gun did he use?” Isn’t that question a little strange coming from a person who will later blame guns?

The real reasons for such massacres to happen are multiple and the main one is that insane people are walking the streets, which is a situation that shouldn’t exist. When a person’s brain is deranged to the point that he is declared as being crazy, that person should be taken off the street and never be let out.

As I was growing up in the 1940s and 1950s there existed insane asylums better known as “funny farms”. When a person was declared crazy, he or she was sent there and the key was thrown away. Unfortunately some retarded (not crazy) people were also sent there when they should definitively not have been. The village idiot who wasn’t crazy enough to start a house fire but not intelligent enough to put it out should have never been sent there.

In the 1960s governments, using the excuse that it would be economical to close those institutions, did exactly that and since then you and I might have, or had, a completely insane person as a neighbor.

Since those years the unwritten law that says that an individual should always be in control of his or her emotions and be responsible for his actions has gone out the window. Anyone can get high on drugs and decide that he or she wants to kill people just for the pleasure of killing, and they do. Did you ever notice that after a massacre we’re never told if the killer had consumed drugs before doing it?

The third reason, and here many parents will recognize themselves, is the bringing up of “king children”. The child to whom you give everything and anything that he does or doesn’t ask for, just so that he’ll be quiet. The parent who acquiesces to the child’s every wish, thinking that he’s showing that child love. Showing love my ass. You’re, in fact, preparing an adult misfit. A teen or adult who will not be able, or have the tools, to deal with whatever life is going to throw at him and who, in some cases, will resort to violence thinking that it’s the only method to deal with his problems.

As a civilized society it is important that we all take our responsibilities as individuals, and as serious governments, by going to the source of the problem. Many people are killed on the roads each year but do we blame cars for it? No we go to the source of the accidents, the offending drivers, the ones who drive under the influence of liquor or drugs. It’s high time that we do the same if we want to stop such sad stories as the massacre in Newtown.

I was in the Express Lane at the store, quietly fuming. Completely ignoring the sign, the woman ahead of me had slipped into the check-out line pushing a cart piled high with groceries. Imagine my delight when the cashier beckoned the woman to come forward, looked into the cart and asked sweetly, 'So, which six items would you like to buy?'

Wouldn't it be great if that happened more often?!

Slavery and the christian church.

The christian church was comfortable with slavery.

Slavery has existed for thousands of years. In fact the day that man discovered that he could forcesomeone to do his work and pay him by kicking his ass, was the day that slavery was initiated. How many thousands of years ago did that happen? I don’t know. Your guess is as good as mine in this case but it hasn’t stopped since. The Greeks, the Romans, the warlords, ancient kings and emperors (dictators really) and, yes, the catholic church, in Europe and in the

Americas

, all “owned” some. Even today in certain instances, in certain corners of the world it exists but at least it can nowadays be punished by law.

However, in some of the southern U.S. states, ownership of slaves was practiced on an industrial level. Plantation owners could have two or even three hundred slaves working twelve hours a day for them without any remuneration. It was impossible for a man to buy a gift for his wife or children. It was also impossible for loving parents to buy decent clothes for their children or to treat them to an ice cream cone on a warm Sunday afternoon or to take the family out on a picnic. It was totally impossible for those people to do normal activities that regular families like to do together. It was a difficult life for those people without as much as a “thank you” for all the work that they were forced to do.

But what about the christian church in all of this? Don’t you think that this church, which represents some invisible god on earth, whom all of its fervent followers believe to be loving and charitable towards human beings (his children), should have elevated its voice against the practice or fought in order to eradicate that barbaric practice?

If you convincingly answer yes to that question you’re simply crazy or you don’t understand absolutely anything to the business that is called; church. Let’s admit it churches are huge, international, tax-exempt and super-rich businesses for which money is the sole purpose for existing. And as long as rich slave owners poured some of their profits into the local church, who the hell in that business was going to complain?

This sort of connivance I, of course don’t approve of, but can easily understand, because it’s an excellent business practice. On the other hand there is something that completely baffles me. That Mickey-Mouse, man-created god who’s supposed to love and protect us all from such situations and who obviously didn’t do his job in the case of the black people was adopted with open arms by those same people once they obtained their freedom. Strangely puzzling, indeed.

We have to be careful.

A few years ago when many pets died in North America because of tainted pet food to which melamine had been added and when many babies in China died because formula milk also contained melamine, I recommended people around me not to consume any food that was made in China, for the above reasons.

But the danger doesn’t stop there. On May twenty-third 2012, a container arrived, from India, in the port of Montreal and was found to be contaminated by cobalt-60. The shipment consisted of metal kitchen utensils, metal to which cobalt-60 was mixed. Is this dangerous enough for you? Yes, disgustingly dangerous. Can you imagine preparing food in your kitchen with such utensils while contaminating your whole family? Not an interesting prospect at all.

This radio-active garbage is not only found in kitchen utensils. Some shelve units, gas engines and car parts have been found to be contaminated in the past as well. Canada isn’t the only country to receive that sort of merchandise. Some of those containers have landed in Germany and the

USA

, as well. The nuclear age is something of the past for some countries and their nuclear garbage is now being spread around the world. Aren’t some industrials bloody nice people? So nice in fact that you’d love to invite them for supper and blow their bloody head off.

I suppose that the countries in the Americas and Western Europe are vigilant enough to test all containers for nuclear contamination and we have, in some cases, proof that they are. But what about the unfortunate people living in third-world countries whose governments don’t give a damn about this matter?

As long as there’s a buck to be made industrial rats are ready and willing to do anything in order to make it even if it means screwing up people’s health in the process. I can only recommend to be on your guards and to restrain yourself from buying products that are made in those countries. You might live longer.

Intellectual liberty. (Or the ability to think by yourself.)

Intellectual liberty can be stolen.

What is intellectual liberty? Simply described it’s the ability and capacity of an individual to reflect on, analyze, dissect and evaluate any subject, situation or theory that is proposed to him. To add anything to this would, in my mind, be superfluous.

Intellectual liberty is a right that belongs to every human from the day of his birth but that has been and still is denied to a majority of the earth’s population by dictators, and this includes the so-called, self-proclaimed kings and emperors of the past, communistic regimes and religions, that are so dear to so many people’s heart. My goal today is to treat the religious aspect of intellectual liberty theft.

Judaism, Christianity, Islam and all the rest of those businesses, so-called religions, have done it for years, are still doing it today and will do it for years to come.

The principle isn’t complicated at all and is used by all of them. Children who have been convinced of deep and emotional beliefs through well planned and concise indoctrination and programming and in whom false fears have been instilled will, in general, continue to adhere to those beliefs and to have those fears as they continue in life as adults. When this phenomenon happens the religions inherit lifetime, willing and regular, contributors to their businesses even if they are some of the poorest people in this world. It’s sad, very sad, for a person like me to witness.

I and my young friends went through the process in our youth. It started at home with our parents and continued in the school system with the teaching nuns and brothers but in a parallel action the indoctrination was emphasized in church by the priests. Yes by some of those bastards who are today accused of pedophilic practices on children, in the past.

The business (catholic church) turned us into consenting slaves (zombies) in order to suck as much money from us as it possibly could until some of us sat back and reflected on the real purpose of religions.

I must admit, however, that their method of operation was well thought of and very well developed. To convince anyone that some invisible god, who supposedly created the world and who lives somewhere in the firmament exists is not an easy task unless you grab your subjects at a very young age. To scare them into submission without the use of torture by making them believe that, if they don’t believe their teachings, they’ll burn in “hell” for eternity is also a feat of excellent business management.

For my part that bullshit has been out of my thoughts and my life for many years now but I honestly can’t help to think about and feel sad for those poor people who are still hooked into that system and who continue to give money to those bastards even though they sometimes only have enough money to survive, let alone have a decent life.

Hopefully, someday, those blind faith believers will retake possession of their stolen intellectual liberty and be able to see religions for what they really are; businesses. To be an intellectual slave is, for almost all blind faith believers, a life sentence and life shouldn’t be a sentence but rather a passing that should be spent enjoying the many pleasures that life offers like learning about things that surround us such as science and the rest.

Incest in the bible (Oh my god)

To me incest is one of the most, if not the most insidious crime that can be committed by any man, or woman. To steal the youth of your own child should be punished by the heaviest sentence that can be imagined. The person responsible for such an action should never be allowed to walk the streets again in his or her life. No child asks to be born and no child should be treated in this manner by a member of his own family. A child should always be allowed to play and to grow up in as a normal manner as can be in order to become a well balanced adult who will have a productive and fulfilled life.

In this article I’ll mention three cases of incest that are present in the bible. One of them is quite obvious and the roles are inverted. You’ll see as to what I mean. The second is also obvious but blind-faith believers don’t dare ask questions about it. They just accept it as they accept everything else in that fairytale book. The third instance is very subtle and when you analyze it closely you detect the same treachery and misguidance that are forever present from cover to cover.

Let us start with Lot and his two daughters. After the fires of Sodom and Gomorrah Lot was left alone with his two girls following the transformation of his wife into a salt pillar because she dared watch the two cities burn. In the bible it says that the daughters waited for their father to fall asleep, after drinking, in order to have sex with him because they believed that they were the only people left on hearth and wanted to continue the human race. To the women who are reading this I ask; have you ever tried to get a drunken man, let alone a dead drunk, to reach an erection good enough for penetration? It’s simply, physically, impossible. It won’t happen. No way. What’s really happened was that Lot screwed his own daughters knowing damn well as to what he was doing but as it’s so often done everywhere in the bible, blame has sadly been put on women.

As a second case I wish to ask you readers a question that many crhistians have probably asked themselves before. Who was the mother of Adam and Eve’s grand children? To any person of average intelligence, the answer jumps to our eyes, Eve, as asking the question is also answering it. But again blind-faith believers either don’t see it or simply choose not to admit it. This case is what I call: god sponsored and christian approved incest.

The last instance that I want to treat isn’t complicated and is complicated at the same time and requires a good analytic disposition in order to properly identify it. I’ve never seen this situation treated anywhere and for many of you, believers it will become clear after it’s properly explained to you.

In the gospel according to Matthew, chapter 1, verse 20, it is said: The angel of the lord appeared to him in a dream, saying: “Joseph, thou son of David, fear not to take unto thee Mary thy wife: for that which is conceived in her is of the holy ghost.”

If you’re a blind-faith believer as all Christians are, you gobble the bible explanation without blinking an eye and you don’t find the situation complicated. Where it becomes complicated to you is when you read my explanation and your head then becomes all screwed-up.

As a growing boy, at a time when my young friends and I were intelligently and skillfully being indoctrinated and programmed to become faithful and generous financial contributors to the catholic business, sorry church, I remember very well the teaching nuns in school and the priest in church telling us that the father, the son and the holy ghost, united, were but ONE GOD. Does that ring a bell inside of your head? No? It should because it means exactly what it says. It means that Jesus impregnated his own mother, simple as that. But in order to clearly understand it you must be able to deeply reflect on what I’ve just written. Unfortunately, blind faith has sadly taken away your reflecting capability. This example is also god sponsored and christian approved incest.

In other words, incest, for all of its ugliness and disgusting moral properties is present and I might add, almost recommended, in this so-called; holy book.

Brassiere straps can ruin your looks.

Most women want and work hard to look good, and why not? A woman who looks good will invariably attract looks and perhaps pleasant commentaries from the people that she will come across on the street and it’s quite all right. Without purposely wanting to charm, women, in general, feel good when they look attractive, at least I would if I were a woman.

It’s summertime here in the north (

Canada

) and everyone likes to wear light clothes and to take as much sun as possible. Winter is so long and cold that is a great feeling to shed those winter clothes off for summer ones and to feel the warmth of the sun on your skin. I find the sensation so good that, to me, it’s like a rebirth.

It’s also the time at which girls run to the store and stock up on summer clothes. Shots, sandals, summer dresses and light tops, nothing is forgotten.

Between choosing as to what clothes that they’re going to wear and time spent in front of the mirror, making up their faces, some women easily spend one hour and perhaps more. And there’s nothing wrong with that.

Once they believe that everything is in its right place, they’ll finally point their noses outside the door and let people admire them and I’m one who loves to do that. But when I see a woman in a summer dress with spaghetti type straps and I can see, underneath those, two ugly brassiere straps, my jaw simply drops. Brassiere straps is the last, but the last, thing that I wants to look at when I admire a woman and I have no reason to believe that I’m the only person to think that way, man or woman. Girls, yes you girls who have the very bad habit of doing that, for forty dollars buy a strapless brassiere and instantly improve your looks.

Am I in a bitching mood today? No, not really, I’m not but this is something that’s bothered my ass for many, many years and I simply thought that today would be a good day to let you know about my concern.

While I’m at it I’d like to recommend another suggestion about your dressing habits. I can see you telling yourself: “Boy there he goes again.” But you’re going to love me for it, I know. I know that you will. You’re all aware of that damn peace of material that tells you as to how to wash your garment and to, or not to, iron it. Well, where does the manufacturer sew it? Right at the back top of the piece of clothing that you so proudly wear and, as if by magic, it always manages to stand up and out, in view of everyone. Cut the bloody thing out with a pair of scissors. After you’ve seen it once, you never, ever, look at it anymore but, being a leg and bum man, I see it and I guaranty you, it’s ugly. This was my bitch for the day and now I feel good.

The local TV station was interviewing an eighty year old lady who was had just married for the forth time.

The interviewer asked her as to her new husband’s occupation.

“He’s a funeral director,” she answered.

He then asked her if she would mind telling the viewers a little about her first three husbands and what they did for a living.

She paused and with a smile on her face she proudly explained that she had first married a banker in her twenties, and then a circus ringmaster in her forties, followed by a preacher in her sixties and now, a funeral director.

The interviewer looked at her, quite astonished, and asked as to why she had married four men of such diverse careers.

The old lady smiled and explained: “I married one for the money, two for the show, three to get ready and four to go.”

IQ, UQ. (What the hell, let’s all Q.)

IQ tests determine the level of a person’s intelligence.

For many years I’ve heard people affirm that IQ tests determine the degree of human intelligenceand that all a person has to do in order to find out as to how smart he/she is, is to take one of those test. I started to seriously look into those so-called intelligence determining tests and the answer isn’t quite that simple.

Borrowed from encyclopedia Wikipedia is the following: Modern mental testing began in France in the nineteenth century. It contributed to separating mental retardation from mental illness and reducing the neglect, torture, and ridicule heaped on both groups.

Mental illness is a deeply rooted disease that can, in no way, be compared to mental retardation. A person suffering from mental illness is a person who sadly lives his life surrounded by a bubble, completely detached from the rest of society. That person has absolutely no knowledge of the conventions of social living as normal people do and therefore can only function in it with a great deal of difficulty, if at all.

Mental retardation, on the other hand, only means that a person lacks knowledge. For example an illiterate is definitely a retarded individual but that, by no means, suggest that that person isn’t intelligent.

When IQ test were first introduced into society, by the French, in the nineteenth century women were, more or less, tagged to have between twelve and seventeen children, once they married. Yes ladies that was normal for the era. Don’t you feel lucky today with one or two? Anyways, a situation like that implied that one or two of the oldest girls were designated to help the mother in the running of the household.

On their side a couple of the older boys were also chosen to help their dad on the farm or, if they lived in the city, to get a job and to bring additional money for the well being of the entire family. Going to school for three or four years or none at all only meant that those children were socially retarded but it certainly didn’t mean that they were less intelligent.

After taking a few of those IQ test for the fun of it, it becomes quite evident to anyone that they are all mostly based on knowledge rather than on the facility and ability with which someone uses his/her intelligence in order to find the answer to precise situations or in an incentive manner.

It’s a fact which, the designers of those tests seem to ignore, that intelligence simply can’t be compared to knowledge and can’t be measured using a test on knowledge. And I don’t believe either that it can be measured in numbers but rather in levels similar to the following example.

This being said, don’t imagine for a moment that people of inferior and below average levels can’t be very nice, gentle and loving individuals and, on the other hand, that those with above average and superior levels of intelligence can’t be jackasses and rude to anyone whom they believe are not on their level. The degree of compassion that one person can show to another is usually acquired through that person’s upbringing although some individuals are capable of learning it by themselves.

X-rays can cause cancer.

To those of you who have read my blog articles titled: “Clean your house”, “Open the window” and “Cancer prevention” you know that I have a deep aversion toward chemical products in the home or in the human body. Honestly I haven’t trusted x-rays either for a long part of my life and for the same reasons.

When I retired from the military I had to have a medical check-up which was the routine for any potential retiree. On that day I happened to be the last patient to see the doctor and asked her if we could talk. “Surely, what’s on your mind? Was her answer. To my question as to what she thought about x-rays she replied: “One x-ray is one x-ray too many”. “Wow”, was my reaction. An answer like this coming from the mouth of a doctor left its mark on my mind and since I’ve retired, although I have a yearly medical check-up, I’ve told my doctor that I would go for chest x-ray only every three years, to which she agreed.

Some fifteen or twenty years ago I went the dentist in order to have my teeth cleaned. At one point the assistant told me to follow her. I asked her why and she told me that it was to take an x-ray of my mouth. When I answered: “No way, and by the way, why do you need to do that in order to clean my teeth?”, she and the dentist looked at each other and shrugged their shoulders as if I came from another planet. I said to myself let them think what they want, I’m the one to decide if I’ll look after myself or not.

You see friends, being a dentist also means being in business and, in order to have a successful one, sales must be good and must also increase every year. But I’ll be damned if their sales are going to increase at risking my health.

The reason that I’m writing on this subject today is because of a study results that were recently published in the newspaper. That study was done at the school of medicine at Yale in New Haven, Connecticut between the years 2006 and 2011 and comprised 1433 patients. It was clearly established during that study that because of regular (yearly) mouth x-rays, some people could develop cancerous brain tumors.

If that’s not clear enough for you, it is for me. If you don’t want to end up with cancer, stay away from x-rays as much as possible, be the master of your body, decide by yourself as to what goes or doesn’t go into your body. You’ll die a happier person.

Moses lived forty years in the desert.

Q. Yes way? No way?

A. No way.

Amongst all of the fantastic stories that are found in the bible one tells the reader that Moses took with him six hundred thousand people into the desert with him. Let alone the parting of the Red sea, which in itself is quite a feat, it’s said that they spent forty years in there.

In reality it’s written that he took six hundred thousand people and a multitude. In anyone’s book a multitude could have been one, two, ten or and additional six hundred thousand people. Who knows? Added to that statement, it’s says that: Neither had they prepared for themselves any victual and that they spent forty years roaming around in that desert. For any person believing that story and knowing the shorter human lifespan in those days, it means that thousands of individuals were born while many thousands died there. Where are the bones? Archeologists haven’t found any to this day.

Knowing very well that if a man decides to cross the Sinai desert from Egypt to Palestine without bringing a required supply of food and water that he’ll be dead in one week to ten days. How could that story be possible in anyone’s mind?

That’s where well planned child indoctrination or programming, if you wish, comes into line. As a small child we all loved that someone told us the story of Snow White or Cinderella and believed them up to a certain age at which time we realized that it was impossible for them to be true.

The stories in the bible are very comparable, in fantasy, to those that were told us in our youth and, what I find very difficult to understand is: How is it possible that so many adults of supposedly average intelligence still believe them. How is it possible that so many adults haven’t outgrown their need for such unbelievable stories? I can only imagine that for certain people their life has to contain a certain amount of fantasy for them to be happy.

Martian landing in the 1970s.

Two Martians land in the middle of the night in a closed gas station. They get out of their space ship. The Martians walked up to a gas pump. One said to the other ," I think these are earth people".
"Take me to your leader!" said the first Martian. No response.
The second Martian whispered to his partner, "I don't think we should screw with this one".
The first Martian said "Take me to your leader or I’m going to blow you to kingdom come!" No response.
With that, the first Martian took out his laser gun and zapped the gas pump. It blew up and so did the gas station and the Martians were thrown into the air and landed in a tree.
The second Martian said to the other, "I TOLD YOU, WE SHOULDN"T HAVE SCREWED AROUND WITH A GUY WHO CAN HANG HIS PENIS IN HIS EAR!"

The deluge really happened.

The deluge

I suppose that the majority of people has learned, in its young years, about the principle of rainmaking and understands its functioning. Water evaporates from the earth’s oceans,lakes and rivers into the atmosphere thereby forming clouds of water vapor which, after sufficient cooling, is then transformed into water, showering the earth with rain. This cycle has faithfully, although not identically or uniformly, been repeated through the history of the earth.

The bible tells us that god informed Noah that as much rain would fall on earth as the tallest mountain is high, plus fifteen cubits. A cubit is an ancient unit of measurement

equivalent to the length of a man’s arm taken from his elbow to the tip of his longest, or in this case, the middle finger. After averaging the length of a few measurements we find that the final figure that was then generally adopted is twenty inches and the tallest mountain on earth we also know is Everest.

Mount Everest, it’s been determined, culminates at twenty-nine thousand and twenty-nine feet above sea level. If we add fifteen cubits or twenty-five feet to its height we arrive at a total of twenty-nine thousand and fifty-four feet. Dividing this last amount by forty, which is the length of time in days that we are told that it rained, we can then establish that seven hundred and twenty-six feet deep of water fell each day that the deluge lasted. In order to find out as to how much rain fell during each hour we have to divide this figure by twenty-four hours and we are left starring at the unbelievable amount of thirty feet or, if you wish, six inches per minute..

You see, Pauline, it’s naturally and mathematically impossible for two feet of water to fall to earth when only one foot has evaporated from it and, even if the god of the bible had completely drained the earth of its water and returned it in the form of rain, that rain would simply have filled the cavities left empty by the evaporation, without causing any inundation. Where then has he taken the required extra water from? Certainly not from outer space because it’s been proven that there’s none on the moon and that it’s only present in micro and perhaps nano-quantities on Mars and probably on the other planets as compared to the volume found on earth.

Has the deluge really happened or is it just another story invented by whomever wrote the old testament portion of the bible and that the catholic (Christian) church uses in order to show the power of its invisible god?

It was a sunny Saturday morning on the course and I was beginning my pre-shot routine,

visualizing my upcoming shot, when a voice came over the clubhouse loudspeaker.

"Would the gentleman on the woman's tee back up to the men's tee please!!"

I was still deep in my routine, seemingly impervious to the interruption.

Again the announcement, "Would the MAN on the WOMEN'S tee kindly back up to the men's tee."

I simply ignored the guy and kept concentrating, when once more, the man yelled:

"Would the man on the woman's tee back up to the men's tee, PLEASE!

I finally stopped, turned, looked through the clubhouse window directly at the person with the microphone and shouted back,

"Would the person in the clubhouse kindly shut up and let me play my second shot?"

I’m a weird person because I’m an atheist.

If I eat too much I become fat, just like you. If I bleed, my blood is red, just like yours. If I cut myself it hurts me, as it does you. If I loose someone whom I love, I’m sad just as you are. If someone whom I love becomes a dope-head, I’m concerned, just as you are. If I stupidly talk on the telephone or text while driving my car, I become liable to have a deadly accident, just as you do. If I have sex, I enjoy it just as you do. As you can easily judge, you and I are very alike human beings.

As a child I was indoctrinated and programmed by my parents and the catholic church, just as you were in your environment, and I’ve read the bible just as you have read the torah or the koran and understand what is said in that book just as you do. So, what the hell is the fundamental difference between you and I?

The difference is that you’ve read it and that I’ve read and analyzed it. I’ve indeed scrutinized every element of every anecdote and sub-story that is written in the bible. I’ve dissected every feat claimed in that book and have come to the only possible conclusion that could be reached after such work. The stories are basically written in a manner as to make you (children included) believe that a wonderful after-life truly exists in some place called heaven and to scare the shit out of you (burning hell) if you don’t. Anyone who believes whatever claim that is made in either of those books will believe that the big bad wolf did, indeed, blow down two of the three little pigs houses and that Cinderella’s carriage was really transformed into a pumpkin. Those books simply amount to a veritable similarity with children’s books. No less and no more!

Ludvig Holberg, (1684-1754), said what I’m trying to say in a better manner than I or anyone else could ever say it. Holberg criticized school doctrines in Christianity, arguing that "Children must be made into men, before they can become Christians"^{[6][citation needed]} and "If one learns Theology, before learning to become a man, one will never become a man."^{[7][citation needed]}

In other words, once a person has been programmed, especially at a young age, it generally becomes impossible for that person to use her faculty that should normally allow her to be able to reflect on a particular situation and to analyze it with the goal to draw her own conclusions and to make up her own mind concerning that situation. And that’s why theists will quote the stupidities found in those books when confronted with an objection to their accustomed way of thinking.

Well I sometimes enjoy quoting bible writings to you, theists, as in the following: To anti-abortion Christians, for instance, I’ll ask as to why their god saved four people from the fires of Sodom and Gomorrah and eight people from the deluge and judged it admissible and acceptable to senselessly and cruelly kill millions of innocent babies and children. It normally takes care of the argument right there and then and, if I stretch my ear a little, I can faintly hear someone mumble: “Fuck, why didn’t we think of that.”

A little boy opened the big family bible. He was fascinated as he fingered through the old pages. Suddenly, something fell out of the Bible. He picked up the object and looked at it. What he saw was an old leaf that had been pressed in between the pages. "Mama, look what I found", the boy called out. "What have you got there, dear?" With astonishment in the young boy's voice, he answered, "I think it's Adam's underwear!"

Money doesn’t leave the church once it’s in it.

In early two thousand and five, shortly after the terrible, terrifying and catastrophic tsunami that hit land in south east Asia and killed so many people and left even more homeless, good old Jean-Paul II asked that more money be channeled to the disaster area by countries that had already contributed and that countries that had yet to send money, to do so.

In two thousand and eleven, on July second to be exact, history has repeated itself. Yes indeed, old “snake eyes”, Benoit XVI that is, (have you ever seen such an untrustworthy pair of eyes as his?) has called on the world to send more money to the famine struck corn of Africa out of compassion and fraternal solidarity in order to help save the twelve million people who are threatened to die.

Have you ever in your life herd or seen written somewhere that the Vatican, a debt free and world-wide tax-exempt city-country, worth in the vicinity of one trillion dollars, has sent money to any catastrophe-stricken area of the world? No and you never will. The catholic church being the well organized, tightly-ran business that it is doesn’t let one penny go once it has made its way into the system. People can die of starvation or for any other reason around that church, it just doesn’t give a dam.

How can a church (any church for that matter) that claims to be the height of compassion and charity be so bloody cheap and lack so much human charity when it comes to disasters of that proportion? It’s simply because a church is a business and businesses don’t give money away unless there’s a promise of a good return. One thing is sure however. It hasn’t received money from me in many, many years and it won’t in any future.

The pope goes to visit the Seven Dwarfs. As he is finishing his speech on comparative religions, Dopey raises his hand to ask a question.

"Mr. Pope, are there any dwarf nuns in Rome?".

"No Dopey," responds the Pontiff, "there are not".

"Mr. Pope, are there any dwarf nuns anywhere in

Italy

?", Dopey questions.

"No Dopey," chuckles the Pope, "there are no dwarf nuns in Italy."

"Mr. Pope," Dopey asks pleadingly, "are there any dwarf nuns anywhere in the world?"

"No Dopey," the Pope says sadly, "there are no dwarf nuns anywhere in the world."

And softly in the background the six remaining dwarves start chanting, "Dopey screwed a penguin, Dopey screwed a penguin."

Some people believe in god no matter what.

Ever since the catholic bible has been written, accusing the Jews of killing Jesus-Christ, those people have been discriminated against, stepped on, beaten, exiled, killed and incinerated. A group of them would establish a community in some European country and things would be fine for a short or relatively long period of time and then, for an unclear, somber reason evocated by some asshole, they would become unwanted overnight. “Good people”, Christians, would chase them out of their established homes and take possession of their belongings as if nothing had happened and as if it was their right to display such deranged behavior. Spain is a fine example of this madness under the reign of the very catholic queen Isabella. Of course, in treating this subject, we can’t forget Germany which at the time was under the guide of a certain dictator called: Adolf Hitler.

Some black people of this world were enslaved following tribal conflicts in Africa. I supposed that a certain percentage of vanquished warriors in any battle in the world, throughout history, ended in this situation as well. Black people captured other black people in Africa and sold them to white people who took them to the Americas in order to serve other white people as slaves. Their term of service was hard work, no pay, from the time that they were bought until the time of their death. During that period of service they were fed the strict necessary food that they needed to survive and punishment for real or imaginary infractions to the set code of life as a slave could be whipping, starving, or even death by shooting or hanging in order to show others an example. During all the time that slavery existed in the southern U.S.A. you never heard the Christian church (business) reprimand the slave owner on his morally unacceptable conduct and mentally twisted behavior because he would donate interesting sums of money to the local church in order to keep it happy and especially, quiet.

I’m the type of guy with a good sense of logic, a just as good analytic mind and a fairly good sense of understanding different situations. That’s just the way that I’m made, I suppose. However I must admit that I’m completely screwed-up concerning the following. How in the world could people who came out of Hitler’s concentration camps weighing eighty, ninety or one hundred pounds of skin and bones and on whose head their invisible, imaginary god had shit for so many years, could go back to adoring that bastard god?

How could people who had never been made aware of the supposed existence of an invisible, imaginary god before they were brought to the Americas decide, once they were freed, to build churches and make him their master after he had allowed white people to do what they had done to them? I don’t know what drives intelligent people to do things like that, it’s complete and utterly nonsense. I just don’t understand. If you’ve got an intelligent and reflected answer to my questioning please let me know of it.

Quickie in the bushes.

There are two statues in a park. One is of a nude woman and one of a nude man. They had faced each other, across a pathway, for one hundred years when one day a magician came to them and made them alive. He told them that their live state would last thirty minutes and invited them to do whatever that they wished to do.

The male takes the female’s hand and leads her amongst the nearby bushes. After fifteen minutes of laughing and giggling, the two come back where the magician was standing.

He asked them if they enjoyed themselves and they answered yes. He reminded them that they still had fifteen minutes to go and suggested that they can go back to the bushes if they so desired.

The male asked the female if she wanted to and she said: ”Yes” adding: ”This time you hold the pigeon and I’ll shit on its head”.

Your soul, my soul. (A pure invention)

Everyone has a soul.

The three monotheistic religions of this world have succeeded in convincing their followers that they have “a soul” and that that soul has to be pure in order to be admitted into heaven after death. If that supposed soul is so important in the after-life of the followers of those religions, you’d be inclined to think that that soul would be an integral part of all human beings and be present at the exact moment of everyone’s conception, but that’s not the case.

For the muslims, allaah sends an angel to breathe the soul into the foetus some one hundred and twenty days after conception. (Reported by Muslim, 1528).

As far as the jews are concerned, the time at which the soul enters the body isn’t specified but the belief that it exists is considered.

Of course, in order for the human being to acquire its soul, the catholic (christian) church had to make it a costly ceremony and if a person wasn’t baptized, he or she didn’t have a soul. The catholic church has always been the champion of costly ceremonies in order to bring as much money as it could into its coffers.

If you haven’t been baptized (in order to acquire a soul), you’re considered by that church to be very low as a human being, so low in fact that you’re considered to be close to nothing. At the time when the Spanish conquistadors enslaved Central and South American Indians in order to make them work in gold and silver mines, Charles V, king of that era, wrote the pope and asked him if it was proper “christian behavior” to do that. The pope, in all his greatness, answered that it was ok “because those people didn’t have a soul” (in other words, they hadn’t been baptized). Of course, besides the king and the catholic church of Spain, the church headquarters in Rome received its cut of the treasure as well.

I was born in Quebec City in nineteen forty-one and in those years the baby was, the day after its birth, taken from the hospital to the church in order to be baptized. What was the reason given? If the baby died before being baptized, it would die without a soul and would have to spend time in purgatory before being allowed to go to heaven. What was the real reason? At that time there were still a fair amount of babies who died soon after birth and when it happened, the catholic church lost the potential revenue that that person would have provided during his or her existence. The churche’s reasoning? Why not get income from that child’s parents right now in case he or she dies soon. Amassing as much money as possible has always and will always be that church’s (business) mentality.

In the reality of life your soul is no more than what is commonly called your conscience which is part of your brain. It allows everyone the capacity to judge right from wrong, and this, starting at quite a young age. When your body dies, your brain does too and so does your conscience. Everything slowly rots in the earth and all is well. Somebody else with his or her own conscience has already taken your place and might, unfortunately, be brainwashed and programmed to be a believer in the god of the bible and to also make those churches even richer.

A middle aged woman has a heart attack and is taken to the hospital. While on the operating table she has a near death experience. During that experience she sees God and asks if this is it.

God says no and explains that she has another 30 years to live. Upon her recovery she decides to just stay in the hospital and have a face lift, liposuction, breast augmentation, tummy tuck, etc.

She even has someone come in and change her hair color. She figures since she's got another 30 years she might as well make the most of it. She walks out of the hospital after the last operation and is killed by an ambulance.

She arrives in front of God and complains: "I thought you said I had another 30 years!!

God replies, "Sorry, I didn't recognize you."

The man who created god. (An extraordinary businessmsn for his time.)

If and when some of us ever think of the people who lived about three thousand years ago in Palestine and the immediate surrounding area, we probably have a tendency to imagine them as being an uneducated and backward civilization. In terms of education the answer is yes but in terms of backwardness it’s a straight no. The only difference between them and us is knowledge and understanding of the surrounding world.

Their way of living was much comparable to ours. A daily routine existed and they had their drunks and thieves and lazy members of society as we do. There were small businesses at the village market that only required the work of their owner in order to function properly and there were larger ones such as wine and beer making, animal hide tanning, olive growing and olive oil extracting that had to hire workers in order to reach success.

There were intelligent and resourceful businessmen present in every day life but were there super, extraordinary businessmen among them capable of foreseeing the potentially “highly successful” results of their endeavors? I’m talking here about remarkable men comparable to Bill Gates or Steve Jobs, men who had the skills to forge the manner in which people think and behave and who were capable of enough foresight and displayed the required skills to develop a business to the point were it would become recognized and considered as a super business. The answer to my question is yes; one.

There was, in that area, at that particular time, one man who was able to recognize that the population, in general, needed to have something or someone to hang on to in order to function properly in its daily life. That same population also believed in some sort of after life and could not imagine that after one dies that it’s all over for him. That same guy also noticed that not only rich men were willing and ready to sacrifice an animal to some god of their choice but that the poorest of people were doing the same thing as well, although it only might have been a chicken and that the sacrifice of that animal meant that their children would go without food for a day or two. His conclusion was that all walks of life wanted to believe and were ready and happy to give, no matter as to what their financial status was.

It was at that moment that a light came on in his head and that he decided to invent one, single, imaginary god whom he credited with the creation of the earth and humanity, and whom you could join and live with, for eternity, in your afterlife. Wasn’t that enough to make everybody happy? You bet it was! He developed his idea, established rules of living for his future followers and that there should be a member contribution towards his movement and hit the road carrying his soapbox under his arm. And bring gold into the kitty, he did! Thousands of ounces of it but not only did he create a religion to which millions now adhere to and contribute millions to, he successfully infiltrated the king’s dictatorship and managed to have it considered as a tax-exempt business. I humbly and cheerfully lift my hat off to that man for his genius.

The man and his religion did so well that he eventually decided to build a large temple in order to gather all of his followers in one place at convenient times. The more often that he gathered them and the more people that there were to those gatherings equaled to only one, expected result; more money was put in the kitty.

He, and eventually the high priests who followed him, was able to raise so much gold that king Nebuchadnezzar II decided some five hundred years BC to invade Jerusalem in order to steal the treasure before destroying the temple. In the year seventy A.D., the Romans who needed lots of money in order to build the Coliseum, did exactly the same thing.

When you read the word “treasure” you know damn well that that word means big, big amounts of money (gold). So for all of you who still think that sex runs the world, I think that it’s time for you to believe that religious money does.

Several years ago, the Catholic Church required women to wear a head covering in order to enter the sanctuary. One Sunday a lady arrived without her head covering. The priest informed her that she couldn’t enter without it.

A few moments later, the lady re-appeared wearing her blouse tied to her head. The shocked priest said: "Madam, I cannot allow you to enter this holy place without your wearing a blouse."

"But Father, I have a divine right," she claimed.

"Yes, I see. And your left one isn't bad either, but you still must wear a blouse to enter *this* church!" he insisted.

Professional jurors. (The subject should be considered).

Should jurors be professionally trained?

Q. Yes way? No way?

A. Yes way.

If you’re reading this article, it might not be a bad idea to first read last month’s titled: “Temporary insanity, my ass.” When I wrote it I was mad, and still am, regarding the judiciary system in our country and others. But, alone, who am I to change the system?

When psychiatrists, people who shamelessly pretend to be “capable to visualize” what goes on in someone’s head were originally accepted as defense witnesses the following, unwritten, but then generally accepted moral law was brutally thrown out the courtroom windows. What I’m writing about went like this: “No adult person should be permitted to pretend to have lost the control of his or her mind because of the use of liquor, drugs, any other cerebral altering substance or the influence of another person. An adult should always remain in full control of his or her actions at all times.” The preceding sounded good and fair to me and most people then and it still sounds the same today. I don’t feel that this is asking too much of anyone.

Psychiatrists who pretend that they are capable of knowing as to what goes on in someone’s mind, but who probably wouldn’t be able to find the pile of manure behind the barn, are in my opinion, full of shit. The person sitting in front of them doesn’t have to be a brain surgeon in other to fool those idiots. One good, solid, never altered story will make any of those guys look like the idiots that they really are and a person will literally be able to GET AWAY WITH MURDER.

Because insanity is such a deeply rooted state of mental disorder and disability, it should be impossible for a person to be allowed to plead temporary insanity in any court of law but some do and those pleas are unfortunately accepted by the judges sitting in our courts and, very sadly, considered by inexperienced and sometimes very gullible members of juries. A person can’t honestly claim to be insane for thirty or sixty minutes any more than a woman can claim to be pregnant for thirty or sixty minutes. You are or you aren’t. It’s as simple as this.

The above brings me right back to my argument that members of juries should be professionally trained in order to render honest, reflected and deeply considered verdicts amongst the choices offered by the judge. As things stand right now some potential jurors are simply not intellectually or mentally equipped and prepared in order to be in a position to properly deal with very shrewd and very experienced defense lawyers.

However, we all know that the source of the problem isn’t the fact that, in general, people who are selected as jurors lack a lot of experience and knowledge that should be the property of such people. The real impairment of the justice system resides in the fact that our courts will accept the witnessing of psychiatrists who pretend that they can see what goes on in a person’s head when it’s quite easy for anyone to understand that if a person decides to fool those guys, it’s the easiest thing in the world. So keep on dreaming world because the justice system won’t be changed in the near or any future. Too bad!

Temporary insanity my ass.

A person can be insane for thirty minutes or one hour.

On July 5^th, 2011, on the same day that Casey Anthony was found not guilty in Florida of killing her young daughter, doctor Guy Turcotte was declared, in Montreal, not criminallyresponsible of stabbing his two young children to death. The man pleaded guilty to his actions and took the stand on his own behalf.

The man is a doctor, a cardiologist. He is therefore, in most people’s eyes, an intelligent and diligent person but he’s also a mean calculating bastard who should have never been recognized: not criminally responsible for his actions, for reason of temporary insanity.

In his testimony he said that he also wanted to commit suicide. The man is a doctor who knows exactly what sort of drug will kill him instantly and, not only that, those drugs were readily available to him at his place of work. All he had to do was to bring some home on that sad day. Instead, he supposedly tried to commit suicide by drinking car windshield washing liquid. In other words he wanted to punish his wife for having an affair with a family friend and also wanted to live in order to see her suffer.

Before killing his children he brought them to rent films at a video shop and looked and acted very normally on the shop’s security video. He let them watch the films and then put them to bed. Afterwards, according to his testimony, he proceeded to drink a certain amount of the windshield washing liquid, just enough to make himself sick. At eight pm. he went into the children’s bedroom and stabbed one child seventeen times and the other twenty-nine times. Twenty-seven minutes later he called the baby-sitter to tell her that her services wouldn’t be required on the following day and called his realty agent to cancel a forthcoming meeting.

At eight thirty-five he called his mother and talked to her during one complete hour. Now does that really sound to you like a man who wants to commit suicide. Absolutely not, it sounds like a man who did what he wanted to do, that is punishing his wife, and who didn’t have any real plan to commit suicide, as he claimed.

By taking the stand at his own trial the bastard planned everything so that, with his own sob story and the favorable testimonies of the psychiatrists hired for his defense, the members of the jury would lean in his favor. He cried, said that he loved his children very much and said that he was remorseful for their deaths. He also said that the reason that he killed them was that he didn’t want them to find him dead on the next morning And that’s exactly what has happened. That dozen idiots found him “not criminally responsible” for the death of his loving children.

As normal, law abiding, morally and mentally stable members of our society what should we be lead to think of a justice system that allows such garbage to fall through the cracks? The answer is not much and the worst thing is that we can’t, as ordinary citizens, do anything about it. But there’s one man who can (I can’t remember what the name of his position is) and he does. He’s decided to appeal the verdict in appeals court. I wish that man good luck from the bottom of my heart.

Women discrimination. (You can only blame the bible ladies).

The bible discriminates against women.

Case number one: On a fine Sunday afternoon, after working hard for six days creating the earth, the imaginary god of the bible was sitting in his reclining chair drinking a good cold beer when he looked down at his work and noticed that the Adam guy was displaying a fine penal erection and strange behavior, by sneaking up to that little white goat from behind. “Oops” he said to himself. “I gave the lion his lioness, the tiger his tigress but I completely FORGOT to give Adam his Adamess.” So, we’re told, he reached down and grabbed one of Adam’s ribs with one hand and a handful of soil with the other, made a ball of all of that and threw it back to earth and pop, woman was invented, after man of course. The story goes on to say that; “man is the fruit of god and that woman is the fruit of man.” And if you read a little further, in chapter five, it’s written that god told Eve: “and thy desire shall be to thy husband and HE SHALL RULE OVER THEE.”

Case number two: The old bearded, deeply complexed man or men who wrote the old testament of that book didn’t give Adam enough judgment to figure out by himself in which hole his penis went but instead pushed discrimination even farther by pretending that a virgin insisted to have sex with a man. A virgin to whom the pleasures of sex were totally unknown? That’s pushing things a little far, isn’t it? But it’s not the end of the story. Following their game of “legs in the air “ it’s written that god told Adam: “Control the woman”. Well girls let me tell you that the orthodox jews took those words seriously and decided that their women’s place is in the house in order to make it a pleasant home and to cook great meals and it’s still the norm today for those guys. On the other hand, some muslins flipped completely on their heads and made their women “prisoners” of their homes. Not to be outdone, the priests of the catholic church, from their pulpits during Sunday mass, used to tell women that they were not allowed to sexually refuse their husband and women are still prohibited from becoming and will probably never be able to become priests because they’re considered as second class citizens by that church. What do you think of this shit?

Another fine example of discrimination is found when we’re told that Sarah, Abraham’s wife, was unable to give her husband a child. They don’t suppose that the ninety-four year old fart might have been impotent, no. They put the blame on her by saying that she couldn’t have babies, that she was sterile.

A little further in the story we’re told that, after running away from burning Sodom and believing that they were the only people left on earth, Lot’s daughters waited until their father fell asleep from drinking before having sex with him, in order to repopulate the earth. Has it ever come to some jew’s or christian’s mind that it’s a fact of life that physically, it’s totally impossible for a dead drunk man to have an erection? Should it instead have been written that Lot committed incest on his daughters? Does the bible say that he was punished for his vile actions? Of course not, the blame had already been put on his daughters.

Who was finger-pointed for cutting Samson’s hair, thus robbing him of his extraordinary strength at the same time? Good old Delilah of course. And the girl became known as the first lady barber in the history of man.

Guess who asked for John the Baptist’s head on a platter. You guessed right, a woman, king Herod’s niece.

Jazebel is simply called a whore and in order to make things a little different they called Mary Magdelene a prostitute. Both words are synonymous with instigation to illicit sexual activities. Bad, bad girls.

The only women about whom the writers of the new testament didn’t say anything bad are Mary and her mother Anne. They wrote unbelievable things about Mary but although they didn’t write anything bad, as they did about other women in both testaments, they didn’t write anything good either. In fact, for a supposedly good woman and JC’s mother, they wrote very little about her.

Ladies perhaps you should reflect intensely on this article because one of the most read book, in the entire world, discriminates a lot against women and if you’ve had a lot of ground to catch up with, it’s entirely due to that book and to nothing else. That book of which we’re told teaches love and charity, in reality, teaches prejudice and nothing but prejudice. It blames women so much for sexual temptation that it puts her on the same level as the so-called satan, hence the control of man over woman from the very beginning. Except for Mary, the story has nothing good to say about every single woman who is mentioned in it.

In my eyes woman is probably the prettiest and most sensitive of the earth’s inhabitants but the bible has taken away all of her incentive, dignity, self-respect and pride. Although it’s called the good book, it doesn’t impress me one dam bit in that sense. Keep on fighting for your rights as you’ve done in the past but please don’t act as enraged feminists do. I’ve always felt that acting nicely and in a civilized manner will get you everything that you seek and, don’t forget, men have been superbly brainwashed and extremely well programmed by priests, ministers rabbis and imams for so many years that you don’t turn that ship on a dime. Good luck girls all over the world.

Animal abusers. (Veterinarians are the worst culprits).

Veterinarians make your pets sick.

I was born in 1941 at a time when pet shops were a thing of the future and dogs and cats didn’t cost a penny. One day a child would walk into the house accompanied by a friend, a cousin or the neighbor lady who was holding a recently born puppy or kitten and the negotiating started with his mother. “Yes Mom I’ll look well after it, I’ll feed it and pick up after it and it won’t bother you at night, it will sleep with me. Can I, Mom, can I keep it? can I? Can I?” That’s simply the way that things happened in those days. And using this method some families often ended up with two dogs, three cats and sometimes, a couple of white mice. Quite a menagerie you’ll say. Quite a menagerie it was indeed.

Those pets became, as they do today, outright members of the family. They sat with us at their preferred place which was normally someone’s lap, they ate with us whatever table scraps that we could feed them, including the food that we kids didn’t like and they slept with us. Those animals lived with us and vice versa. We enjoyed them and they enjoyed and appreciated us just as much.

In those days a veterinarian was, for us, a cow and horse doctor who lived somewhere far away, in the country. None of us had ever seen one. Our pets never saw one either in all of their lives and didn’t even receive so much as a rabies shot, let alone all the chemical shit that modern veterinarians inject in today’s domestic animals, your animals.

Our pets didn’t eat all the garbage pet food in existence today. At best there was one brand of canned cat food on the market if my memory can be trusted. In any way, cats and dogs were never meant to eat little balls of cereals or little balls of this or little balls of that. If the family had roast beef or roast pork for supper they had the same. Cats and dogs were always meant to eat natural animal meat products, carrots, potatoes, etc… just like us, in order to be healthy and strong animals. This has been the rule for thousands of years and should still be the rule today. Throughout those years pet animals have led long and happy lives doing just that.

Because there are absolutely no regulations or laws controlling the amount of chemicals that can be injected into animals the situation has become a free for all for veterinarians. At any and every opportunity that they have those guys suggest to shoot your pet with something that has a strange name and that is harmful to it. In order to exactly understand what I’m trying to make you aware of, you must first realize that being a veterinarian today means to be in business. To be in business means to reach a level of sales that guarantees the success of the enterprise. It also involves making sure that sales increase every year. A lady veterinarian who writes a weekly article in the local newspaper even incites people to bring their pet to the clinic once a year. DON’T DO THAT. If your animal looks OK, it means that it is OK. THOSE PEOPLE HAVE A LICENCE TO EVENTALLY KILL YOUR PET ANIMAL.

One veterinarian from around here was even able to convince a woman that tap water, the same that I’ve been drinking for years, can make her dog sick and suggested that she buy the bottled water that he offers for sale. He’s either a first class salesman or she’s the dumbest lady that I’ve ever heard of. I sometimes wonder as to how many others he has successfully convinced to buy that water that he probably takes from the tap and bottles himself.

If you want your cherished cat or dog to live a long and happy life without dying from cancer, I suggest that you keep it away from any veterinarian, for its own sake. It might not be a bad idea to seriously reflect on what you’ve just read and give your pet a chance at a good, long, happy and healthy life. Good luck.

Accelerated climate change. (Deep oceanic earthquakes could be the reason.)

Strong oceanic earthquakes could be responsible for climate change.

After the strong earthquake in the Indian ocean in December of 2004 that created a tsunami that killed almost one quarter of a million people in southeast Asia, I heard, only once, on television that some scientists said that the earthquake formed a mountain at the bottom of the sea and that the earth was moved on its axis by as much as one degree.

Following the earthquake that shook the land in Chili, in 2010, and also produce a tsunami I heard, only once, on television that the earth was moved by as much as one degree on its axis.

Just recently, after the earthquake that really shook Japan and caused another devastating tsunami, I read in the newspaper that some Italian experts affirmed that it was strong enough to displace the planet by four inches from its axis and that the Japanese coasts had been permanently moved from their previous position by over six feet. Man, those are major changes happening to our big ball, don’t you think? I’ve had the opportunity to see the Rocky Mountains and I know, after seeing them, that the earth is quite capable to show us much bigger moves although I don’t really care to see any of them. They must be very scary.

The thing that puzzles me however is that those statements that I mentioned about the earthquakes of 2004 and 2010 were not followed by other comments or confirmations. You’d have a tendency to believe that such major happenings to our planet deserve to be investigated and analyzed in order to confirm the statements and to estimate what the repercussions of such important changes could be for humanity but the silence of scientists has been remarkable. Don’t you find that very strange? I do.

It was about two years after the 2004 strong earthquake and tsunami that Al Gore, ex US Vice- President, published a report by a team of scientists that had gone to the Canadian north in order to investigate and report on the state of ice melting in that area. The results of that trip were in fact very alarming and devastating for anyone who cares about earth warming. It mentions that the melting of the ice cap and surrounding glaciers, which started some ten thousand years ago, was happening at a never seen before speed.

A few years later, in 2008 to be exact, there was a report about ice breaking away from the Antarctic ice pack and I’ll let you read something official about it which I borrowed from Wikipedia encyclopedia.

“In March 2008, a chunk of Antarctic ice, about seven times the size of Manhattan, suddenly collapsed, putting an even greater portion of glacial ice at risk, and an ice shelf about the size of Connecticut was "hanging by a thread" as of March 25, 2008.[13][14]”

For such a phenomenon to happen to such a vast area of ice is, in my mind, impossible to have been caused by the earth warming conditions created by man’s day to day habits. There had to be a triggering factor that happened a few years before that contributed to the ice break. Why do I say this? Allow me to tell you of a situation that happened to me about fifteen years ago which forces me to reason in this manner.

Driving on a gravel road I met a truck and a small rock was thrown on my windshield by its tires. It didn’t break the windshield in a manner that it had to be replaced but rather left a small spot, at about four inches from the bottom, where it was visible that the glass had been broken. Quite a few months later, maybe eight or nine, I arrived home from work, parked the car and turned the engine off and became a witness to a very strange thing. Because the break in the glass was right in front of my eyes when sitting in the car, it was also the last thing that I looked at before I exited it. That afternoon was no different from the others and when I looked at it, a line started to run from the broken spot right up to the top of the windshield. It didn’t happen in one instant. It must have taken some five to six seconds for the break line to reach the top while I was attentively following its course. I sat there and was completely fascinated by what I was seeing and when I read about the March 2008 ice breakaway, my memory instantly recalled the windshield event and I naturally made a comparison.

That ice break happened four years after the Indian Ocean strong submarine earthquake that caused a big tsunami in South East Asia. When a phenomenon like that is created, the wave leaves the point of origin in all directions of the compass. Did that wave go as far as the Antarctic, hit the floating ice pack and did it cause a small break to appear in the ice in the same manner that the small rock did on my windshield? Did the ocean movements contribute to emphasize a small original break that resulted in the breakaway of that enormous quantity of ice? It’s not easy to affirm and you can only draw your own conclusions.

When those strong oceanic earthquakes happen, do they change in any way the traditional trajectory of ocean currents which are responsible for many of the different weather patterns around the world? It might just be a personal feeling but it seems to me that there have been a smaller number of hurricanes that hit Florida and the Carolinas since the 2004 earthquake. Instead they appear to rather go through the Caribbean Sea in the direction of some very southern states of the U.S.A. such as Louisiana and Texas and to Central America and the northern part of South America.

Are those earthquakes also responsible for the enormous changes in the climate of Europe and the U.S.A. that we’ve lately witnessed? In the last few years Europe has been hit by very dry spells, enormous storms such as hurricanes, big snow storms and inundations in larger numbers than was seen only a few years ago. Ditto for Australia. In the U.S.A., New York City was hit by at least three major snow storms this last winter and Texas has received much more than its fair share of snow as well. Again, on television news, I heard that, this year, violent storms were happening in the States in a larger number than in previous years.

I’m not trying, in this blog, to minimize the damages that man has caused and is still causing to the planet but is appears to me that every time that a special climate phenomenon happens, the passionate green people are very quick in pointing at man when they perhaps should evaluate the possible natural causes also. I’m a green people as well (my blog: Smoke silos) but I at least try to give to Caesar what belongs to Caesar and to man what belongs to man. I’ll let you draw your own conclusions my dear readers.

A man walks up to the bar with an ostrich behind him, and as he sits, the bartender asks for their order.

The man says, "I'll have a beer" and turns to the ostrich. "What's yours?" "I'll have a beer too" says the ostrich.

The bartender pours the beer and says "That will be $3.40 please," and the man reaches into his pocket and pays with the exact change.

The next day, the man and the ostrich come again, and the man says "I'll have a beer," and the ostrich says "I'll have the same." Once again the man reaches into his pocket and pays with exact change.

This became a routine until late one evening, the two enter again. "The usual?" asks the bartender. "Well, it's close to last call, so I'll have a large Scotch" says the man. "Same for me" says the ostrich. "That will be $7.20" says the bartender. Once again the man pulls exact change out of his pocket and places it on the bar.

The bartender can't hold back his curiosity any longer. "Excuse me, sir. How do you manage to always come up with the exact change out of your pocket every time?"

"Well," says the man, "several years ago I was cleaning the attic and I found this old lamp. When I rubbed it a Genie appeared and offered me two wishes. My first wish was that if I ever needed to pay for anything, I just put my hand in my pocket and the right amount of money will be there."

"That's brilliant!" says the bartender. "Most people would wish for a million dollars or something, but you'll always be as rich as you want for as long as you live!" "That's right! Whether it's a gallon of milk, or a Rolls Royce, the exact money is always there," says the man.

"That's fantastic!" says the bartender. "You are a genius! ... Oh, one other thing sir, what's with the ostrich?"

The man replies, "Oh, my second wish was for a chick with long legs."

God, speak, don't speak. He doesn't give a damn.

The god of the bible speaks to people.

In the old testament of the bible, we’re told that some superhuman, invisible and imaginary god, supposedly living somewhere in the firmament, spoke to some people living on planet earth such as: Eve, Adam, Abraham, Noah, Moses and who knows. Did you ever sit down and reflect on this, asking yourself if those statements are really possible or impossible, or do you just accept them as being true? If you do believe them maybe you should attentively read, scrutenize and seriously analyze them on some dull Sunday afternoon and try to come up with a reasonable answer. Then and only then will you be apt to realize that situations like those are only possible in children story books where the ugly frog is magicaly transformed into a handsome prince. In the real life anyone of average intelligence can deduct that it’s totally, physically impossible.

However, in today’s real life, there’re individuals who claim (with a straight face) that god speaks to them and those people can be divided into two categories. On one side you find the person of a much lower degree of intelligence than the average people who will make such a claim and, sometimes, some of them even claim that the devil speaks to them as well and that could sometimes be dangerous because they honestly believe it. On the other hand there’s the religion businessman ( priest, church minister ) who might make such a claim for the sole purpose of bringing more money into his church business and there’re, very sadly, some people who’ll fall for that sort of shit and indeed give more money, even if they’re moneytarily poor, to their church because they honestly and sincerely believe the crap that they're told by those frauds.

God, speak, don’t speak.

During the course of the story in the bible it’s claimed that some invisible and superhuman god, supposedly living somewhere in the firmament, spoke to some guys living on the planet hearth such as: Eve, Adam, Cain, Abraham, Noah, Moses and who knows.

On the other hand what answer did that so-called god bother to give the young, eight year old, African boy whose belly was swollen to the extreme because of acute malnutrition and whose body was covered whit ulcers when he asked him: “ God why do you do this to me? “ Nothing.

What reply did he give the young, eight year old, girl who had witnessed her parents being killed in Auschwitz, by gas poisoning, and their bodies burned and whose turn it was to be executed when she asked him: “God why do you do this to me? “ Nothing.

What was his answer to the young, eight year old, Pakistani boy whose entire family was dead, buried under the stones of the family shack, following a massive earth-quake ( act of god ) when he asked him: “God why do you do this to me? “ Again nothing, ALWAYS NOTHING.

Do children have so little importance or are they too insignificant in his eyes that he just doesn’t give a damn about answering them? Don’t they deserve an intelligent reply to their simple question? YOU’RE DAMN RIGHT THAT THEY DO but they can't because god only exists in the imagination of the person who believes that he does.

Can the god of the bible really speak to human beings?

A man escapes from prison where he has been for 15 years. He breaks into a house to look for money and guns and finds a young couple in bed.

He orders the guy out of bed and ties him to a chair, while tying the girl to the bed he gets on top of her, kisses her neck, then gets up and goes into the bathroom. While he's in there, the husband tells his wife:

"Listen, this guy's an escaped convict, look at his clothes! He probably spent lots of time in jail and hasn't seen a woman in years. I saw how he kissed your neck." If he wants sex, don't resist, don't complain, do whatever he tells you. Satisfy him no matter how much he nauseates you. This guy is probably very dangerous. If he gets angry, he'll kill us. Be strong, honey. I love you."

To which his wife responds: "He wasn't kissing my neck. He was whispering in my ear. He told me he was gay, thought you were cute, and asked me if we had any vaseline. I told him it was in the bathroom. Be strong honey. I love you too"

Say what you mean, mean what you say

The right words should be used.

The English language is well thought of as are other languages used around the world. Words are initially developed to mean one thing, action or situation. As times goes on other definitions are added to a word by language experts and are eventually included in the dictionary and that’s quite all right as long as the new definition doesn’t infringe on the initial one. At other times additional definitions to a word are decided by journalists, radio and television news readers and other people and that’s where I definitely object, in some cases, because the definition just doesn’t match the word.

The following is an explanation of what I feel that, sometimes, certain words are very badly used to qualify certain things, actions and situations.

The first word that I want to deal with is: star. Initially this word was created to define a brilliant object in the sky that can be seen at night. At one time the word became used to describe a person who delivered brilliant performances in such fields as stage, television or film acting, in sports and other fields. In most cases those people who are called “Stars” have either gone through many years of study or/and many years of practice and hard work and ounce they’ve been recognized by their peers or the public and have received recognition of some sort for their efforts, they deserve to be and should be called “Stars”.

Where I object is when a person who participates in the action of pornographic films is referred to as, being a star. I personally have nothing against such films but I don’t consider that those people accomplish any brilliant performances and therefore no one has any business to call them “Stars”.

The word “hero” is one that can be used in order to qualify a certain sort of people that you can’t find by knocking on just any door. A “Hero” is a person who makes the instant decision to help and to sometimes save the life of someone who is in a situation of peril. When a person takes such a decision, rarely does he or she take the time to analyze and even less think of the dangers that he or she could be facing should the situation become complicated and I’m proud to take my hat off to them.While there are only few people who can be called “Heros”, there are, nevertheless, a lot who are potential ones and who wouldn’t, if the occasion arose, hesitate to risk their own lives in a similar situation.

What burns my ass however is when I sometimes hear someone call a rock performer or an athlete or an actor/actress “my hero” and, I’m sad to say, some radio and television sportscasters are sadly, very guilty of doing it. I just can’t take that. What can I say? It’s me and I’m not one to screw around with my feelings and beliefs.

For anything to be called: ”super” it has to be extraordinarily big, good, efficient or whatever it is, it’s supposed to be but when I hear television news readers or others refer to a clothes model as “Super model” it does bother me very much. What do those women do in fact? They walk in front of people, wearing a dress, a coat or a bathing suit. So what? Billions of women around the world do exactly the same thing every day of the year on city streets, at the office and on beaches but they’re not called “Super models”, or Super whatever because of it. So please, all of you people who use that term, drop it from your vocabulary. It’s just not appropriate. A clothes model is a clothes model, period. There’re no women who deserve to be called: “Super model”.

LITTLE GIRL ON A PLANE

This should give you a chuckle!!!!! smart little girl!!!

A member of Congress was seated next to a little girl

on an airplane so he turned to her and said, "Do you want to talk?

Flights go quicker if you strike up a conversation with your fellow passenger."

The little girl, who had just started to read her book, replied to the total stranger,

"What would you want to talk about?"

"Oh, I don't know," said the congressman. "How about global warming, universal health care, or stimulus packages?" as he smiled smugly.

"OK," she said. "Those could be interesting topics but let me ask you a question first.

A horse, a cow, and a deer all eat the same stuff - grass.

Yet a deer excretes little pellets, while a cow turns out a

flat patty, but a horse produces clumps. Why do you suppose that is?"

The legislator, visibly surprised by the little girl's intelligence, thinks about it and says,

"Hmmm, I have no idea."

To which the little girl replies, "Do you really feel qualified to discuss global warming, universal health care, or the economy, when you don't know shit?"

And then she smiled and went back to reading her book.

A. Yes way.

It’s funny how sometimes your mind isn’t programmed to register what’s presented in front your eyes. Like most people I had seen television reports and read articles on the evil of factory smoke stacks and their negative and destructive effect on clean air and water but they had only managed to make me aware of the situation rather than to make me concerned about the negative results that they generate on nature around us, our nature. I must however admit that air pollution paints a very abstract picture that, for many of us, can’t be caught on the first throw. If it were colored black, dark green or bright red, I’m convinced that the majority of the population would have readily noticed it and would have immediately been concerned about it, as you’ll be able to realize a little further. In my case, grey was the awakening color.

The smoke emitted from factories isn’t, of course, the only factor that contributes to air pollution although it’s easily identifiable as one of the culprits and besides that it’s one of the main contributors responsible for the acidification and eventual killing of our beautiful lakes and, in some years, of our oceans. Carbon dioxide found in the smoke plus rain water = carbonic acid (acid rain).

On a warm and sunny summer afternoon, last year, I was driving on a country road towards a highway. Nearing my goal I noticed a factory located at the crossroads and stopped the car on the side of the road for a few minutes.

The reason that made me stop was the amount of smoke coming out of the smoke stack adjacent to the factory, it fascinated me. The structure must have measured one hundred or one hundred and ten feet and a fair estimate of the size of its mouth, from where I was, could be around five feet in diameter. Very thick grey smoke was shot in the air at a rapid rate of speed and at about five or six feet above it, was blown to one side by a strong wind, in the direction of a major size city located perhaps five miles down the road.

On that day air pollution ceased to be an abstraction for me because the spectacle that was unfolding in front of my eyes was the pure and harsh reality of it and it also has an identifiable color for me now, grey. I also thought of the millions of similar situations happening all around the world every day and I finally realized as to how enormous the problem really is. I then recalled the television images that I had seen and couldn’t help but think that the real image is worth one thousand television representations of the situation.

After a while I turner my head to the left side of the road where I noticed a farm and all its buildings, including two circular grain silos attached to a well painted large barn. At that moment a flash hit me as it sometimes happens, perhaps ounce and rarely twice in a person’s life, the type of flash that you just can’t ignore.

In my imagination I moved the smoke stack away from its base and replaced it with one of the silos, increased its diameter and its height, installed a water sprinkler system on its ceiling and directed the smoke from the factory furnace into it. Bingo, problem solved.

At this point some of you are wondering: why has this crazy blogger installed water sprinklers on the ceiling and I’ll gladly explain. Many of us live next to a large city and we’ve often looked at it on a sunny summer morning only to notice that there was a grey smog cloud sitting right on top of it. Later in the day clouds moved over it and there was a rain shower. After the clouds had gone away and the sun had come back, the smog cloud was gone. Where did it go? It went on top of the buildings and houses, on the streets, the grass areas, the trees and, whatever else you find in a city. That’s where it went. Hence, the sprinkler system would eliminate part of the air and water pollution problem at the source and what’s encouraging about the idea is that the conversion from smoke stack to silo wouldn’t cost companies a fortune.

I’ve chosen a farm type silo as an example but it could as well be a square or rectangular building varying in size in accordance with the amount of smoke that is spewed by different size furnaces and what’s also nice about this type of operation is that the water at the bottom of the silo can be reused again and again. If desired, of course, acid in the water and gases that might not have been brought down by the water and are floating in the air, in the silo, can be destroyed but I’ll let chemists deal with that, because a chemist I’m not.

I feel that it’s very important to deal with air pollution and the death of our lakes and eventually our oceans now if we love our children and want to leave them with a planet that they can enjoy as much as we do, in our lifetime. I realize that factory smoke isn’t the only air polluting factor but it could easily be the first positive action taken in order to accomplish our goal of having clean air and to prevent the eventual death of our lakes and oceans by acid rain.

If you’re concerned as I am and honestly think that this solution makes sense, now is the time to write or talk to your elected government representative and to rattle his/her cage a little, if you have to, so that he or she takes the proper action in other to head in the right direction. Your children will thank and love you for having taken this decision. Good luck to all of us.

Mass murderers. God is greatly qualified for number one.

Mass murderers are obsessed with killing.

Q. Yes way? No way?

A. Yes way.

Did you ever ask yourself as to what it is that drives a person to become a mass murderer? I have, many times, and the only realistic and satisfying conclusion that I’ve been able to come up with is the love of, and passion for killing, without necessarily displaying any feelings of animosity or hate towards the victims. How can a mass murderer hate a person that he doesn’t even know and who has done nothing to him that could result in such an action? In most cases hate is used as an excuse but the deep, basic elements remain, love and passion for killing.

As we are all born without feelings, we seemingly develop a variety of them as we grow up. For some it can only be a liking, for others a love and for others it becomes a passion, which in fact, is one small step from love, the line between both being very thin. In some cases a person’s energy is directed towards learning, research, love, sex, money, gambling or others and sadly, some opt for killing human beings.

Through history and not legend we have learned of their names and of estimates as opposed to true amounts of the number of their unfortunate victims. The true numbers would surely turn out to be higher that the estimate in every case because anyone whom, at one point in his life, takes the sad decision to kill people in industrial quantities, looses count of the amount.

As sensible, well adjusted, and life loving human beings the thought of taking this course of action at one point in our lives would never cross the mind of most of us but, as in anything in life, there’s always the element of exception which I try to show you in this article by listing the following realities.

Joseph Stalin.

During his reign of terror as dictator of Russia and of the Soviet Union Joseph Stalin has enjoyed destroying life and killing people.

Russian writer Vadim Erlikman for example makes the following estimates:

Executions: 1,500,000

Gulags : 5,000,000

Deportations: 1,700,000 (dead during deportations, for lack of food) and,

German POWs and civilians: 1,000,000. Added to the preceding figures we must not forget the genocide of six to eight million, and possibly more, victims of the 1932-1933 Holodomor in the Ukraine. ( Holodomor meaning murder by starvation.)

Adolf Hitler.

Adolf Hitler was another monster for whom killing was a passion and who was only surpassed by Stalin because his life was shortened by suicide after his defeat at the hands of the allied forces.

His concept of racial hygiene or purification led to the planning of the Holocaust where people of the Jewish faith, non-Jewish Poles, communists, members of resistance groups, homosexuals, the physically and mentally handicapped, Soviet prisoners of war, groups of people in cities and villages of German occupied countries and others were coldly and systematically executed using various methods of death application.

Idi Amin Dada.

After the granting of independence by their colonizing European countries some African states became open torture and death chambers. Uganda was sadly one of those countries where under the guide of dictator, Idi Amin Dada, 500,000 people including, soldiers, members of ethnic groups, religious leaders, journalists, lawyers, intellectuals and in some cases entire village populations were killed simply because they didn’t think in the same manner as he did.

Pol Pot.

Pol Pot of Cambodia has killed an estimated 2,000,000 of his compatriots during a four year period in the mid-seventies.

Saddam Hussein.

Saddam Hussein of Iraq was hanged for the massacre of one hundred and forty eight Shiites but before being stopped he succeeded in eliminating 180,000 people including an attack using mustard gas on Kurdish villages in the northern part of the country.

Radovan Karadzic.

Recently apprehended Serbian, Radovan Karadzic, is accused of executing, with rifle bullets, eight thousand Bosnian residents in July of nineteen ninety five.

Omar Al-Bashir.

A few days before the arrest of Karadzic, a warrant was issued by the World Penal Tribunal for the apprehension of president, Omar Al-Bashir, president of the Soudan who is accused of genocide in the Darfour region of that country.

Osama Ben Ladden.

For the next maniac in line we have Osama Ben Ladden and his merry murderers who already have quite a number of killings to their credit worldwide and, given time, the son of a bitch will manage to destroy many more lives.

God.

Every well-indoctrinated and well-programmed Christian knows that the god of the bible is the creator of the planet earth and of all its elements and proof is shown in the story that he can control them as he wishes. It is also said that he has complete control over sickness and diseases and there again certification is clearly given.

That god has however misused those elements and diseases to burn thousands to death in the fires of Sodom and Gomorrah and to drown millions in the flooding of the earth and, every year for the last two thousand years, he has damned this planet and its inhabitants for completely unknown and totally unexplained reasons.
