Review Fix - Price Is Right - "Hit material you will want to blast in your car."

noreply@blogger.com (Kirsten Price) — Wed, 09 Mar 2011 16:03:00 +0000

"Kristen Price’s Brixton to Brooklyn is a fantastic album consisting of nine tracks, two featuring Len Xiang, and spans the musical genres of R&B, dance, rock and pop. Price’s sound is a cross between Lucy Woodward, Liz Phair, Katy Perry, Kylie Monogue, and even at times, a young Roxette." >>CLICK HERE TO READ MORE>>

THE VERDICT ON "BRIXTON TO BROOKLYN" FROM OURSTAGE - "FELINE, MINXY AND TOTALLY PROVOCATIVE"

noreply@blogger.com (Kirsten Price) — Thu, 10 Feb 2011 01:05:00 +0000

The folks over at OurStage featured Kirsten Price on the home page of their magazine yesterday. Their verdict?

"Price seems destined for the upper strata of popular music—her melodies are expertly wrought and impeccably produced.. Price’s feathery vocals are like tendrils that curl around each word, tugging you into the mix. It’s feline, minxy and totally provocative pop. Give that girl a round of applause." "Kirsten Price. Maybe for most guys, this name rings a bell, however, the one we are to feature today has more than a pretty face and a curvaceous body to offer."

noreply@blogger.com (Kirsten Price) — Thu, 06 Jan 2011 14:32:00 +0000

" From the lyrics to its production, Price has done it all by herself. She’s got the spunk of today’s mainstream pop/rock stars like Pink, Kelly Clarkson, and Katy Perry as many have compared her with but what I find about her to be the most influential is the powerful yet soulful authenticity of her voice that exudes in any genre she takes on. May it be pop, rock, or soul, Price’s vocals remain charismatic and enchanting in such a way that there aren’t enough words to describe her craft." CLICK HERE TO READ MORE

Unsigned Magazine: Brixton To Brooklyn CD Review by Mut Ashero

noreply@blogger.com (Kirsten Price) — Wed, 20 Oct 2010 19:46:00 +0000

Kirsten Price's Brixton to Brooklyn cd is exciting. One of the best pop cds that we've heard this year. The entire CD is powerfully sung with songs that are simple and straightforward in lyrical content. So while it won't challenge you mentally its sweet simplicity affords you the oportunity to fully sink into Kirsten's wonderful voice. The CD is also a testament to masterful producing and mixing. Brixton to Brooklyn is 9 tracks of pop greatness with slight R&B undertones.

PMR is "delighted" with the "very impressive" Brixton To Brooklyn.

noreply@blogger.com (Kirsten Price) — Wed, 20 Oct 2010 19:28:00 +0000

"Sometimes artists slip under the radar.. The album is full of power pop/ rock floor fillers which makes this an album you will put on repeat.. very impressive... She has one amazing talent there and she gets extra brownie points in my book because it is not often the artist writes the entire album. Also the vocals are superb I even enjoyed the ballad Keep Moving. The only drawback with this album is that it’s too short. Once you reach the end of Press That Button you are left wanting more as your first listen to Brixton To Brooklyn is over in a flash because you enjoyed it so much."

Not The Kind Of Singer To Gently Fly Away..Price is the kind of artist that could just as easily be on the radio in an instant.

noreply@blogger.com (Kirsten Price) — Wed, 20 Oct 2010 19:22:00 +0000

".. she’s a definite songwriter and one that sounds balanced and assured on a strong release. Price’s confidence spills over onto the album’s diverse array of sounds and styles. Whether she’s dreaming in a club-heavy trance (“Take Me to the Top”) or mysteriously smooth and shimmering (“One More Time”), Price is always perched at the top: belting the melody."
