Since the launch of “Work From Home Formula Handbook“, SHN Marketing has been inundated with response so much that I offered to share some of the comments sent to them (with kind permission) by purchasers of this package.

“It’s simple yet effective. It tears down all the jargon for you and the little video tutorials are easy to follow. A magic pill formula for work from home people like me it should be called.”

“Hi, just wanted to drop you a line to say your formula handbook gave me faith in working from home. It doesn’t come with all the usual baloney and it was a real pleasure to be one of the first to get my hands on it.”

Those little comments make it all worth while in this sleak business we call internet home working. There are more at the end of this article.

The claim is: the package was launched mainly for newbies to the internet marketing world. As it turns out, the package was bought by experienced marketers (maybe they were just being curious?) but it certainly holds real value and strips right back to the original way of working from home.

Let’s be honest here, there is nothing in this world that is easy (as the package often tells us). I’m sure you already know that anyway and to try and make you think otherwise would just be a defeat of purpose. Yes, you have to add a bit of effort and yes you will need to apply some and more but no, it isn’t back-breaking and neither is it one of those long processes where you never see the light at the end of it.

Did I find any differences to most other “secret” formulas? No, it isn’t as much of a secret but more a reminder of the real and honest way to make money. I’m gonna stick my neck on the line here and say the package was cheap; so cheap I didn’t buy it on the first click (I am respectful that way; I never offer first base on the first night). I was suspicious that a new product with a great feedback and review was so cheap.

However, I was pleasantly surprised when I met and heard others who purchased the formula and I now believe the price was set so low as to encourage newcomers to the world of working from home. That’s the only reason.

I would say the package is extremely well written. It is clear the publishers of this package know how to write. I wouldn’t say they are experts on writing killer copies but they would turn pages (not heads) in the novel way. It’s interesting with touches of light hearted humour to ease the process and it delivers extraordinarily well.

It reads well, the visuals and video tutorials are clean and tidy and easy to understand but above all the whole concept and idea on how to make money online is just pure gold. You might scratch your head (as I did) when you get into the package because you’ll wonder why you didn’t think of these concepts before.

In order to give an honest review about a product you really have to buy it and try it. That’s the only true way you’re ever going to give an honest and clear opinion. I purchased it and I tried it out. Was I impressed? Yes, I was and I am offering this review because I think the “Work From Home Formula Handbook” is a great little pocket pleaser going out and going back in again.

It’s easily the greatest and most realistic product I’ve ever purchased – and used.

I was a member of many sites. In the beginning I opted in to anything that offered a cure or a solution (isn´t that the key to information products?) but I realized that I was wasting too much precious time reading them all (and I ain´t a great reader, took me 16 years to finish Lord of the Rings…well, would probably take most people that amount of time anyway but I think you know what I mean?)

All the ebook sellers in those days were offering incredible packages of “How to get rich” and “How to this” and How to that” and to be honest the sales pitches and sales copy had more substance than the actual content of the ebooks so I decided to delve deeper to find out the ratios: I conducted my very own survey and surprise surprise the sales copy was professionally written (on most occasions) and it was indeed crafted in such a way where you really had to whip out that credit card and buy the damn thing.

What struck me was the poor quality of the actual ebook and information packs. What´s more; if you typed in the search bar on ebay the exact title of the ebook you bought for 37 Dollars you would see the exact ebook on sale at 99 cents.

It dawned on me that a lot of those ebooks were in fact not unique. They were just information about anything that happened to pass its way down the internet sales ladder and before you knew it you had the same ebook as about half the internet marketing purchasers.

This is why I´m certain that unique self-produced products are the best way forward.

Listen, I don´t claim to be the smartest guy in the world – far from it – and I do not possess the greatest of computing skills either but the site you see here is an accumulation of knowledge and tutorials that I personally picked up along my internet travels and it didn´t take me too long to learn all this stuff. It´s a basic site but we believe (as a Team) that this site is clean and easy to navigate. We just get straight to the point with this Web site.

What´s my point in this you might ask? Well, the thing is, in my honest and humble opinion the marketers tell you that content is everything – and they´re right, to an extent, but the Web sites that I have visited (and I´m sure you´re the very same) are nothing but endless scrolls of mediocre and hopeless testimonials – God I hate testimonials. You can neither prove them so I just bin those sites; I immediately click away out of it and visit something else. You Tube has more content than some of those God awful internet marketing sites but they don´t bombard your screen with meaningless junk. You Tube is about the basic of sites you´re ever likely to come across but it captures what it´s real purpose is and it does it fantastically well.

So why am I hitting on you with my rant about sites? If you´re seriously thinking about having your own Web site then I suggest you avoid those duplicated sites – you know, the ones that scroll all the way down to your laminated floor under your computer desk – and get a proper site with nice fresh colours, enough white space (that´s pleasing to the eye) and make it look like you´ve cleaned up a little before inviting visitors over for tea.

You don´t need to be an expert at Web design, hell I´m no expert, believe me but I like to see fresh pastels or sharp but not too razor-like shades.

Aren´t you just sick and tired of all the garbage you end up buying: ebooks after ebooks that are designed to excite you (for ten minutes) then bamboozle you with a lot of stuff that makes you nervous; nervous because you don´t know what the hell they are talking about?

Words, phrases and commands like: Just go to your files after downloading my book and then unzip them, then load them onto your Web site and then upload all your Web files onto your server using a FTP programme.

Aren´t you tired of all those catchy lines like: Download this ebook for only 10 Dollars and your income will start rolling in whilst you sleep…?

It´s absolutely incredible to assume that everyone knows what to do and how to do it. Sure, you buy those ebooks and download lots of stuff in the hope that one or more of the ebooks will turn into an income for you…and in a lot of cases – probably most – they just sell you the idea of how you can make money working only two hours a day.

It´s as if the seller of these products know you personally and expect you to have the same knowledge as them.

Doesn´t it sound too easy? It does to me and if you are in any way interested in making a living working from home – the honest and real way – then I have a Product that is definitely for you. If you´re looking for an escape away from the rigours of industry and (or) hardship and you think all you need to do is POINT & CLICK your way out of the mundane ghetto of existence then this programme is definitely NOT FOR YOU.

Isn´t it just like those keep fit exercise machine adverts that tell you you can easily lose pounds in weeks and the famous exercise apparatus from the 70s and 80s, with the phrase “You too could have a body like mine…in as little as two weeks.

Two things here: I am very very skeptical. In fact I believe in half of what I see and little of what I hear. There´s a lot of serious work to be done to see results in anything in life. I don´t know if it´s a spirit thing, a Karma thing or just part of the human aura but to achieve anything you must apply yourself with discipline and careful thought…and that´s not to mention hard work. But hard work is not what we want to hear. Work, without the hard, is more our target.

I know lots and lots of people who make money online and I too make money with online ventures but I, and many of my associates will testify, that there are catches to making money online, real catches that no one is willing to tell you. I am going against the grain a little bit here and it´s probably not what you want to hear but I urge you NOT TO FALL INTO THE TRAP of the other side of online money making schemes.

The truth is – and it´s the whole truth and nothing but the truth – is that you are only going to succeed online if you have certain tools, knowledge and a lot of motivation.

If you´re thinking about quitting your day job (with all the securities and benefits and monthly REGULAR income) then it might come as a shock to you when you all of a sudden find yourself sitting in front of a computer, coffee in hand, sometimes a bit of cake or toast and the sudden shock hits you; you think, “God, I hope I´ve made the right decision?”

Of course you have. Think about this: the company you already work for can only have so many customers (unless you work for one of the top world brands on earth, but even then, they´re not YOUR customers, you only work there, remember?). In online business ventures you have a much more wider audience. Not everyone is going to buy your product but if you capture a small minority you´ll still be onto a winner.

There are incredible amounts of people doing what I do, and what you´ll be doing as well…shortly…so there´s bound to be competition for your product…or? Not if you narrow it down to your very own unique product. The idea might not be unique but the very product you create will be YOURS.

That´s another thing those ebooks don´t tell the truth about; they say the product is unique and no one anywhere else in the world will have your product. They WILL have the same sort of idea but the way you create it will be unique. Here´s an example: supposing you write a small report on HOW TO GET A GOOD NIGHT´S SLEEP (instructions on how to do this will be in the video); the idea of HOW TO GET A GOOD NIGHT´S SLEEP is nothing new, there will be others who have ebooks like yours with that very same subject but the trick (well, not a trick as such) is, the way you create that report WILL be unique.

Listen, put away those ebooks once and for all because I´m going to show you the best way and the most honest and practical way of making money online. It has nothing to do with viral marketing or joint venture schemes (do you really know what those phrases mean anyway?) Do the sellers of those products really care about you? The answer to both is more likely to be a big fat NO.

You really don´t know what they mean unless you have knowledge and they certainly don´t care because as far as they´re concerned all they are interested in is selling you a product and most are crap anyway and a rather large percentage don´t have reliable back-up or service to follow the product. You receive an E-mail (because you were stupid enough to join about 10 opt-in lists that you obviously thought were going to save you’re a**) and then…you are more stupid because you bought the damn thing thinking you were going to get rich. Tut, tut.

Look into all your ebooks you have in your computer and I bet you´ll have a bunch of scripts and software and I guarantee most of them will be useless…a total waste of money. Why? Because all those ebooks are are just ideas on how you can be like them – the sellers of those products; but what they don´t tell you is the truth. The truth is: you´re definitely gonna have to have knowledge of what those scripts and software do. You´re definitely gonna need skills, computer skills and more importantly: Web skills, and that´s where my tutorial comes in.

Let me make this very very very clear to you: you are not going to get rich at all by simply buying a couple of ebooks, get excited at all the “easy” work that´s in front of you and in so little time (jeez, some even say you can turn to profit in as little as 3 minutes…some even less). There is nothing on this planet that is as easy as “just a few clicks and you´re there”…it takes work, a bit of pain and time. But! The real deal is once you are prepared to go through those steps then you really will be quids in…or dollars…or euros…whatever!

This is the time to put to bed all this internet get rich nonsense once and for all because you are about to find out how to really make money online but let me make another thing clear here and now: you are going to have to put an effort in and invest some valuable time. This is where people fail to make money online, they actually believe all it takes is a few clicks and voila! You´re rich. Bollocks! I know it´s not going to happen and my internet marketing “honest” friends know it´s not going to happen and as for the “secret” crap they keep telling you about: there´s no secret at all; the strategies the real netrepreneurs use – you know, the successful marketers – are age-old and nothing, absolutely nothing is secret.

The very first minute you realize that those schemes don´t work the way they say they do the quicker you are on the real road to making a successful online business for yourself. Of course you can work from home sipping coffee all day and there´s no doubt you can quit your day job and you don´t need to break your back anymore; that´s something the ebooks do get right but if you didn´t know by now: NOTHING IN LIFE IS EASY.

How do we know? Because we did.

But here is a small story that dates back a few years.

We looked at ways of selling our brand online a long time ago but we were actually put off. It seems the internet has changed since the early days but the basic strategies still remain the same. We were introduced to information products by certain parties and we admit, they did seem pretty certain but the more we researched the more we found the largest part of them were just there to make the seller money.

There was no after-sales or back-up care; you just paid for some products and downloaded and you were basically left to fend for yourself. Years later it still looks the same. Although to be fair there are good companies out there who do offer what we offer but it´s finding those companies and individuals that is the hard thing.

We looked into all quarters that were available on the net but the more sites we visited the more we realized they were much the same as the next. Most of the information was the same, the products and services (if you were lucky to get any services) were very flat and the ones that were good seemed costly. But, the worst thing we discovered whilst traipsing the internet paths for a bag of rich info was that just about every site that offered this kind of business were a truck load of scrolling and believe me, not everyone is interested in a lot of reading (hell, we´re even surprised you are reading this far down).

At the beginning we were very suspicious of this type of business. We assumed it was just for our American friends because just about every payment method was in US Dollars. The text gave the show away too (US English is quite different to GB English).

We decided that this ebusiness – work from home – selling downloadable instant products – was not for us. Sure, the whole concept looked good on the outside but coming from a hard working environment where if you didn´t break your back you couldn´t possibly say you worked for a living. Yeah, we were very skeptical of this new media means and so we headed back into the offline world to showcase our hard ethics and for little rewards. Little rewards where we come from is familiar and most people are akin to familiarity, it´s better than the risk. Risk is unknown, familiarity is what we know, even if we get less, it´s better than what we might achieve by going down the risk road.

How wrong we were. Years later our internet friends who were about 4 years ahead of us in terms on knowledge, skills, tools access and the whole internet package still insisted that we try it. We´ve looked at the internet from a different perspective and because we didn´t believe there was an easier way to make money we isolated the ebusiness world. It was a huge mistake and this is the real reason we set up this business. To tell others about our story because our story is your story, regardless of where you come from – it is our story; together.

We try to avoid what other sites give you. We do not underestimate our readers´ intelligence so you won´t see anything like, “How Mary from Maryland quit her day job to work from home and now she earns thousands per week working just two hours a day”. It does work but you already know that anyway because all the other sites are telling you this so why should we duplicate your reading time?
Our stories are similar, I am sure of that. Instead of telling you about Mary from Maryland we cut the chase and tell you about us; we are the Mary´s of the Maryland ‘s of this world. Our team consists of individuals from different backgrounds but putting together our targets and expectations and dividing them by reality; we´ve come up with the perfect plan.

In this case we always recommend a name that doesn´t relate to your business type. For example; Levi Strauss doesn´t tell us much about denim wear, FedEx doesn´t say mail or parcel carrier and VIRGIN doesn´t really tell us…well, I think you get the point.

It´s true, wherever you´ve come across a great idea in your head there´s probably someone, somewhere in the middle of South America or far-reached shores already thinking what you´ve been thinking and vice-versa.

So how can we have original products to sell and how can we have original ideas to make us wealthy online?

A lot of people have come across this question and on so many occasions we receive a lot of mail asking those very questions. There really is a simple but effective answer to those questions. You´ve heard the expression: “There´s no point in trying to re-invent the wheel.” That is one of the simplest philosophies around and it really does have great relevance to online marketing and its techniques and strategies.

Do you think big soft drinks companies go around saying:”Well, we already have Coca Cola and Pepsi so why should we bother trying to sell our drinks?

Okay, we all know there are thousands of drinks out there but there is a place and a market for other beverage brands. There are an awful lot of supermarket chains and a real heavy-load of fast-food courts all vying for that place on the money making stage.

The same thinking can be applied with your internet marketing brand but here´s the trick…

Someone, somewhere, will be selling their Twenty Ways to Find a Better Job information pack. In fact, a lot of people will be selling those great little niche-self-experience information packages to the masses and some could find their way sitting on the same internet shelf just waiting to be picked up; but if you can do it just that little bit different from your would-be competitors you got yourself a unique and powerful selling product with the potential to turn over thousands and thousands of your preferred currency.

The key is to be different

The bottom line is: JUST BE BETTER than your competitors. However you do it is up to you but don´t give them something they already have. You have to give them a way to make them want your product ahead of anyone else.

Not necessarily being cheaper because sometimes a cheaper product might look like a crappier one but at least give the customers a great discount with slash prices.

Okay, the internet has a great means to an un-ending galaxy of riches and resources; all lined up for you to grab hold of. An infinity of wealth, if you like. So, how do we internet marketers go about getting our grubby little hands on all those powerful promises? Dead simple, it´s the same method applied offline as it is online but with many many many short cuts. No-one is saying making money online is easy…and if you hear those so-called gurus tell you it is easy to make money just throw them a dead leg. Yep, it gets easier but you have to apply and apply and apply. Once you get over the initial setting up, learning the process and stamping your work ethics on these important internet marketing issues you really will hit the jackpot.

Sure, there are a myriad of ways to make it easier for you to make money but if you really think you are just going to switch on your computer and your printer pumps out loads of your favourite currency (you know, like those graphics you often see?) then you have another thing coming. It takes planning and a lot of application…then action.

Many newbie internet marketers start off the plan and follow the steps on how to make money online but very few people actually take action. That final action step needed… it is very needed .

Newbies download the latest ebooks and tips on how to make money online but truth is they really don´t add that vital application and action steps that are just as important (if not, more) than the first planning steps.

So, now we have the necessary details and fore-planning in place; and now that you know there really is no easy way to make money let´s have a breakdown on another reason why people fail and here´s a few mistakes people make in not following up what is regarded as one of the best ways to make a living: ever!

Taking action is not the absolute end; it is the bridge. Once you take action you then need to get yourself known and get people to your Web site but so many fail because they fall into these way of thinking categories…

Actually, those two methods are something you probably already do already and you didn´t even know it. Grabbing the attention of people online and directing them to somewhere you want them to go. You are advertizing probably right now and you just directed someone on your email list to a site.

Here´s how you´re doing it…

When you send all your friends in your email list the latest funnies from the web and the joke of the day you are already using an age-old technique (if you can get an age-old in terms of the internet?) You are really sending out a message to a lot of people to click on a link to see a guy on YouTube falling off his motorbike and landing in a cow field. Here´s the trick, when you can do that you can also send an email out to people in your address book about a great product you have for sale. The only thing you need to do is to have a Web site or an affiliate link for your buddies to click on.

Always leave what is called a signature at the bottom of your email. The internet is a marvellous way to spread the word. Writing a catchy few short lyrics with the words, “free” or “special offer” in that signature will grab people´s attention and if you post this link on one of your emails then someone will click on that link. We´ve been using this technique from the very beginning of our internet marketing time and it is still one of the most effective ways to get people to view that link you just sent them to.

If that link is eye-grabbing and the product at the other end of that link is mind-provoking you got yourself the chance of a sale. Now, you will need your own site eventually but that link you just sent people to could easily be an affiliate link that created…more on that in our Affiliate ebook available in our Products page. Join forums that have relevance to your product. You will then be guaranteed of your audience being an almost ready-made customer. I mean, don´t just join a forum for cats then try and sell them an affiliate product for tennis equipment.

As for it being expensive to advertise? This is complete and utter nonsense. Sure, if you want to spend risky money on Google Adwords (I say risky because if you don´t know how that system works and you are not too confident about it, it could hurt your pocket, but Google Adwords are a great way to advertise – but, for newbies, it´s best to use the free variations of internet advertising for now.

There are many other ways to get free traffic to your site but you can concentrate on these main tips on things you ought to know and things you ought to avoid.

One:
Never make the mistake of thinking you just have to log on to the net and you´re quids and dollars in without making some kind of effort. Of course making money can be easily achieved but you must learn how the successful people do it, take notes and advice from them, then set out your plan and the all-important part of taking action. Once you get over that initial first few steps you can then be sure you´re on your way to achieving money making status.

Two:
Don´t believe the hype that you need to spend lots of money to make lots of money. Small investments like the price of a runny hot coffee or a cold pancake are plenty to invest in. Getting rich overnight is a con phrase and I don´t know anyone who has become rich overnight (unless they happen to fall over the winning lottery ticket or they have been left some kind of will…or a good bank robber but that´s for another story.) Becoming successful and earning a very very good income should be your long term goal. It is more realistic than thinking you´ll just get up late (or first thing in the afternoon as I like to call it) and switch your computer on to a ticker-tape of riches. That can and could and no doubt probably will happen but in the beginning you should be thinking more of turning 10 Dollars into 100…now, how much is it for one of those slurpy coffees?

Four:
Don´t be put off by words like HTML and FTP. You don´t even need to buy a domain name and Web site package in the beginning. There are so many free ways to get your own Web site up and running in literally minutes. You needn´t worry about having to be a writer or a graphics expert and although all these skills do help it isn´t necessary to get you started on the road to being an internet marketing player. Those sites have all the credentials to get you online with your own means to advertise your products. Naturally you will be better off having your own business or personal domain name where you can take credit card payments online. But to get you the feel of the internet and how online marketing and advertising works, we strongly recommend one of those sites or both. The advantages of those sites are very easy to work out: they are great for search engine optimization. Google loves fresh content and with those blog sites you only have to tweak a few keywords and links to your products and you´ll surely be on the receiving end of free traffic to your main site. Don´t forget the affiliate marketing methods.

Five:
Number four is a great way to get a site up and running to promote your main site more but another short cut to receiving even more traffic to your main site (and your blog site) is to submit your blogs and reports to other sites…free sites…We highly recommend www.ezinearticles.com and www.squidoo.com

Both these sites are great places to advertise your products, links, reports and all other internet marketing stuff. All are only a few clicks and a hit at the submit button and voila!
