Shoes I Wore: New Shoes Coming Soon!

noreply@blogger.com (shoes.i.heart) — Sat, 28 May 2011 17:51:00 +0000

If you have read previous posts, you will know that I just adore my Rocket Dogs. Well, the time has come to not necessarily retire those trusty Clovers - because they are more than comfortable and perfect for Spring/Summer - but to add another Rocket Dog to the family. I don't want my Clovers to run out of energy, so I'm on the hunt for the next addition...perhaps even another pair of Clovers!

I'm currently loving the Spring 2011 Rocket Dog Look Book and have my eyes on a few...

Dreamboat Washed Canvas

Bounce Soft Canvas

Clover Martin Canvas

What do you think? I would love your opinion for my next purchase!!

Shoes I Wore: R2 Sergio

noreply@blogger.com (shoes.i.heart) — Wed, 13 Apr 2011 02:12:00 +0000

This weather has been so nuts lately! Extremely hot one day, cool and cloudy the next. I don't get it! But it's definitely letting me be very versatile in my selection of shoes on a daily basis.

Here is a pair that I love for those days that are slightly warmer but still offer a bit of coverage - great transition for the sometimes fickle Spring weather.

R2's Sergio are extremely comfortable, light-weight and the perfect compliment to a "business casual" dress code.

What do you think?

And just found this great shopping tip for this very pair! FamousFootwear.com marked these lovlies down 40% PLUS you can take an additional 15% off with code RAIN! Shop this sale soon and get your faves today!! (I know I am!!)

Flats for Spring - Love or Hate?

noreply@blogger.com (shoes.i.heart) — Sun, 20 Mar 2011 19:37:00 +0000

Don't get me wrong - I love my high-heels. But when the weather starts to get a little warmer, days are a little longer and my outdoor activities extend for hours, I definitely need a shoe to keep up as well as be fun and a perfect compliment to my personality. That is why I will always and forever be a flat lover. These types of shoes are extremely versatile, come in a myriad of colors and can add comfort to long-lasting engagements!

What are your thoughts on flats? Love em or hate em? Let me know!

Shoes: The New Image for Wedding Photographers

noreply@blogger.com (shoes.i.heart) — Mon, 07 Mar 2011 17:05:00 +0000

I've noticed that many of my friends that were recently married decided to have accessory shots during the "Getting Ready" period on their big day. And when I married my hubbs late last year, I did the same thing! I was able to highlight a few important pieces of the ensemble (ahem...the shoes...). Afterall, most of the time, you are unable to see these great goddesses as a result of the long dress. I feel they could be just as important as the rest of the outfit - and many brides take this accessory as that one special pop of color. All the more reason to show them off!

Although mine were not a bright color, I definitely loved them. See my shots below:

Here are a few other great wedding shots that highlight the leading accessory: the bridal shoes!!!

So much color and style! And these photographers capture the true beauty. Ah..so pretty. Just another example that during your wedding, anything goes! And it's your day so make it your own :)

Disney Channel's Debby Ryan: No Shoes Over $50

noreply@blogger.com (shoes.i.heart) — Sun, 06 Mar 2011 19:36:00 +0000

I noticed a quick article that caught my eye: Debby Ryan, star of the Disney Channel's Suite Life on Deck, has a rule when it comes to shoe shopping: no purchases over $50.

In her interview with StyleBistro, she says it's not difficult to shop this way, as most items she purchases are on sale to begin with and she looks for great steals at places like Charlotte Russe and Forever 21.

This got me thinking - I heart shoes (obviously) and with a love like this, it can definitely get spendy. So, I sought out to find some upcoming faves that are under $50!

Here are my top picks for items under $50 - Enjoy!!

Blowfish - $22.00

Michael Antonio - $47.75

Guess - $49.47

Nomad - $39.95

Steve Madden - $32.97

Madden Girl - $39.95

All shoes were found on Endless.com.

And I know most of the shows are dancing with the $50 limit, but these were my picks :) Endless.com has a countless selection of great footwear for well under $50 - Check it out and happy shopping!!

Shoes I Wore: Rocket Dog Clover

noreply@blogger.com (shoes.i.heart) — Fri, 04 Mar 2011 19:02:00 +0000

Goodbye snow! Hello comfy slip-on shoes!

Finally - a beautifully mild day with a slight breeze. The perfect setting for one of my most favorite, comfy pairs of shoes: Rocket Dog Clover. I totally wait for that time of year when I'm able to just slip these shoes one, forgetting about the socks, and running out the door.

Of course, I live in the part of the country where in a moment's notice, it could switch to a freezing temp and sleet, so when a day like this comes along before the official start of spring, I take it to the fullest. And these shoes are the perfect partner to days such as these! Check them out today!!

Jersey Shore's Snooki Partners with Happy Feet!

noreply@blogger.com (shoes.i.heart) — Fri, 04 Mar 2011 18:18:00 +0000

Last year, Snooki announced she would be launching her own line of slippers, similar to the cozy, snuggly ones she dawns on MTV's Jersey Shore. Well, the time has come! She introduced her new line at this year's MAGIC Trade Show in Las Vegas.

Paired with Happy Feet, her slippers seem to match the MTV star's personality - colorful! And totally cushioned. She also created a ridged sole so you are free to run errands...like running to the gas station...as she told Shoes.tv

I must be honest - these little clounds certainly look comfy...but I doubt I would step out of the house :) At any rate, it's a great empire she building and she's got the right idea with shoes!

Piperlime's Pastel Pumps

noreply@blogger.com (shoes.i.heart) — Fri, 04 Mar 2011 03:31:00 +0000

Falling deeper and deeper in love with the pastel pumps feature on Piperlime. Very subtle in color but details make these beauties stand out and serve as the finishing touch on any perfectly styled outlet. And the best part? These shoes are completely versatile - great for an evening gathering among friends or running some quick errands during the day in jeans and a tee.

**Don't Forget: Piperlime offers FREE Shipping and FREE Returns!

ModCloth's Spring In Your Step Heel

noreply@blogger.com (shoes.i.heart) — Thu, 03 Mar 2011 05:19:00 +0000

I have to admit, this heel is such a breath of fresh air! And it's a true sign that Spring is just around the corner. The suede pump is a classic, adorned with a fabric flower on the ankle strap. Definitely a shoe that speaks for itself and does not require much else from the ensemble. As ModCloth suggests, these lovelies would be the perfect match for that little black dress...afterall, your shoes deserve the spotlight for most occasions! :)

J.Crew Spring Collection: Wedges

noreply@blogger.com (shoes.i.heart) — Thu, 03 Mar 2011 04:46:00 +0000

I received my spring J.Crew catalog in the mail today (Eeee!) and instantly flipped to the shoes. I love what they are featuring: minimal heel, strapped sandals, buckle details. And when I cruised over to JCrew.com, I noticed another trend emerging for spring: Wedges!

Wedges are great! They provide that extra height while giving your tootsies a little bit of a break during the warm-up months. And here are a few I'm currently crushing on that are soon to go fast!
