They're so rare that only 7 to 10% of the world's population is left-handed. Left-handers are rare in SHONEN JUMP manga too, so we'd like to point out a few of them right here. Check out some of the lefty heroes of SJ!JUMP to the Left!Bleach

Moody southpaw Uryû Ishida, a Quincy, makes short work of Hollows and Arrancars using his left hand. Whether it's firing his Lone Sparrow bow and arrow or brandishing his soul-cutting sword, Uryû leaves his foes in the dust—when he's not busy sewing—with acute deftness!

The Prince of Tennis

Seishun Academy tennis team captain Kunimitsu Tezuka's Zero Shiki (drop shot) leaves his opponents looking like deer caught in the headlights! This lefty disguises his shot so well and delivers it with such delicate touch that the ball dies just as soon as it gets across the net!

Always Look Left…and Right! And then there are folks who are equally adept at using both their left and right hands. They're called ambidextrous. In real life, truly ambidextrous individuals are tough to find because most people tend to rely heavily on their dominant hand. Here are a few ambidextrous characters you may have run into in SJ manga.

The Prince of Tennis

Ryoma Echizen, the diminutive star of this awesome tennis manga, is the quintessential switch-hitter. His on-court skills shine through whether he's playing with his right or left hand. He starts out using his right, but pushed to the limit, he switches to his left to close out difficult matches. Be wary of his left-handed killer Twist Serve!

Bleach

Yasutora "Chad" Sado, Ichigo's mild-mannered best friend, can be seen fighting alongside his Soul Reaper friends with both his left and right arms. His Brazo Derecho del Gigante (Right Arm of the Giant) and Brazo Izquierda del Diablo (Left Arm of the Demon) are equally menacing!

Check out these titles at our online store! Cricket is moved by the Straw Hats' determination to chase their dreams, since he's also chasing a romantic dream of his own.

Every day, Cricket dives without fail. He's making it his life mission to find the lost city of gold, risking his health by diving and scouring the ocean's floor. But why? His strong motivation lies in his family's history, one that has brought them shame for centuries.

What's in a Name?

Mont Blanc Cricket hates his name. He has no problem with the Cricket part. It's the Mont Blanc name that brings him ridicule. A descendant of the infamous Noland the Liar, who claimed he found a city of gold in the Grand Line, Cricket ran away to become a pirate. Fate brought his swashbuckling days to a close when he landed on the very island that brought his family shame—Jaya! Cricket now dives every day to find Noland's lost city of gold.

Underwater Monkey Business

Cricket's not alone in his quixotic quest. Two apelike comrades have caught on to his romantic infatuation and are willing to scour the seafloor to find the city of gold.

Masira's one of the top-brass monkeys and heads the salvaging crew that dives for sunken treasure.Shoujou's got one mean set of pipes that he can use either as sonar or as a sonic-destruction weapon.

Will Cricket finally find the lost city of gold? To find out, check out the latest One Piece graphic volume releases starting in January 2010! In the meantime, satisfy your One Piece anime appetite at onepieceofficial.com!

And for our in-depth One Piece catch-up coverage, be sure to pick up the latest issue of SHONEN JUMP!
One Piece: Crew Cut!

One Piece: Crew Cut!Come one, come all to the greatest spectacle on the Grand Line—the out-of-control competition known far and wide as the Davy Back Fight! Reel in amazement as rival pirate crews go all out and compete in games that put their mates on the line. The flamboyantly fiery Foxy Pirates are pros at the Davy Back Fight, having won countless battles (and crew members to add to their ships—cause when you win the Davy Back Fight, you win your competitor too!), and now they've got their sights set on the Straw Hats. The stakes are high, but Luffy and crew aren't ones to back down from any challenge!

Round 1: Raft Race

Goal: Be the first to cross the finish line on a homemade raft.

Usopp,
Nami and Robin are set to compete in this round. With Usopp's
ingenuity, Nami's navigation skills and Robin's… er, helping hands,
they seem a shoo-in to win this race. But their opponents aren't your
run-of-the-mill pirates, and they have yet to experience a loss in a
Davy Back Fight raft race. Besides, it doesn't hurt to have a Fish-man
and a shark on a team in a water race…

Round 2: Kill the Man… Who Is the Ball!

Goal: Place the "Ball" (aka one of your opponents) in the target.

Zolo and Sanji aren't the best of friends, but they'll have to learn the meaning of the word "teamwork" when facing the Groggy Monsters of the Foxy Pirates. The game setup is simple: a member of the team is the "ball" and must avoid being forcibly pushed into a target on the ground. The problem for Sanji and Zolo, though, is that the opponent's "ball" is a slippery behemoth, and the referee just so happens to be a Foxy Pirate as well!

Round 3: Mano a Mano

Goal: Last man standing wins.

The grand finale is a one-on-one fight between the captains of each respective crew. Luffy's already proven his worth throughout his journey, but this time he's at a major disadvantage: the randomly chosen ring is the Foxy Pirates' ship! Can he overcome the unfamiliarity of his surrounding territories to defeat Foxy and his unusual ability to slow down anything's motion with his Slow-Slow beam? Perhaps a good pep talk from his second, Usopp, and the help of an afro wig will do the trick!

Keep your eyes peeled for the tidal wave of One Piece manga volumes starting in January 2010! Thanksgiving is the perfect time to chow down and hang with our resident foodie—Choji Akimichi! Today, we'll be taking Choji to the wonderful buffet of treats found in the Naruto Collectible Card Game! So let's grab our plates and get started with the feast!

Big Bone to Pick!

Having a card like "Choji Akimichi (N-635)" with a voracious appetite is a boon for any well-seasoned gamer. N-635 removes one Ninja Blade coin of any kind from the game. This effect allows for nearly endless combos and quicker access to some of the most popular and powerful cards in the game!

Tasty Combo!

We're on a mission to feed a hungry Choji, and what better way to start our full-course meal than with "Transmitter (M-465)"! This Mission is a Permanent (2), meaning that when it's played, you place two Ninja Blade coins on the Mission. Once that's done, remove one coin at the beginning of your Turn, and when no more coins are on the Mission, move M-465 to your Chakra Area.

M-465 allows you to search your Deck for one card and add it to your hand once the Mission is no longer in play. Normally you'd have to wait two Turns, but when you combo M-465 with "Choji Akimichi (N-635)," that long wait shortens to just one Turn! And any food enthusiast knows that a shorter wait means you'll have more time to devour your opponents!

On to the Meat…of This Feature!

Can't seem to find Choji? Chances are you just haven't been looking in the right places, and your best bet would be to start at the local barbecue joint! Asuma always treats his squad to barbecue after any difficult mission, and "BBQ (M-397)" is the perfect card to hit any hungry ninja's spot. M-397 benefits from N-635's effect of eating Ninja coins and allows you to draw two more delectable cards from your Deck without missing your next draw!

Exotic Taste

Think you have adventurous tastes when it comes to cuisine? Perhaps having a hearty appetite like Choji's will help you digest some of the more, er… exotic offerings in the Naruto CCG! In some countries, chocolate-covered bugs are considered a delicacy. "Shino Aburame (N-511)" is one of the most-played Turn 0 Ninjas. When Shino comes into play, he brings one Ninja Blade coin (symbolizing an Insect coin) in play. However, N-635 takes a bite out of Shino's Insect coin effortlessly! Yum!

We hope you had a nice Thanksgiving meal with Choji. Keeping up at the dinner table with the portly ninja can be a daunting task, so take your time to digest all the wonderful goodies the Naruto CCG has to offer. And if you want seconds, check out SHONEN JUMP for more great card coverage!

©2002 MASASHI KISHIMOTO / 2007

Let's take a look at each demon and the reasons behind their crime.

Soul Munchies!

Goki's one bad demon with a mean-spirited appetite. He already has 12 convictions under his belt, including numerous killings of bounty hunters. He stole the Rapacious Orb, which allows him to collect souls to feast on without actually going through the trouble of physically ripping the bodies apart to get the souls. Yusuke manages to take down the soul-sucking demon by giving him a good taste of his Rei Gun!

Mama's Boy

Kurama is a Yô-Ko, a fox that has attained great supernatural powers. However, he's not all that bad. His pact with the rest of the Deadly Trio went awry after they obtained their treasures. Kurama's real goal in taking the Mirror of Darkness was to help save his dying mother, but in return, he must sacrifice his own life. However, every eye has its blind spot, and Yusuke uses that to his advantage with a little mirror trick to defeat Hiei!

Snag a copy of YuYu Hakusho volume 3 and get all the nitty-gritty details on how Yusuke found the culprits who stole the three items from the Underworld Treasure Vault! Stay in where it's safe from ghosts and ghoulies and play video games! Here are some suggestions to get you started.

Uncharted 2: Among Thieves

Uncharted 2 continues the Indiana Jones-style adventuring action and throws in a host of new gameplay mechanics. From stealth action segments to climbing up, around and over your environments, it feels like a new experience. The action is fast and frenetic, with more emphasis on gunplay as well; this time around, there's even a deep multiplayer component, as well as cooperative play for up to three players. The environments to explore are exponentially larger and more detailed than those found in the first game. Despite the generic character design and storyline (or maybe because of it?), it's like a big-budget Hollywood action movie brought to digital life. (Sony, PS3, Rated T)

Hint: Use your environment: much of the furniture in the game can be tipped over and used for cover.

To read the rest of our video game coverage, pick up the latest issue of SHONEN JUMP!
Movie News: Naruto Fights Fate!

Naruto Fights Fate!Naruto may be older, but he hasn't lost his youthful spirit in Naruto Shippuden the Movie. There were no biju-sealing rituals or prophecies involved. Instead, Masashi Kishimoto entered the world without much fanfare. The once allergic-to-studying student was thrilled to attend a school where the focus was on drawing (a welcome change from drawing on the sly during class!). He set his sights on Jump’s Hop★Step Award and submitted Karakuri. But things didn’t go as smoothly as expected for him until he received some unexpected inspiration from…a bowl of noodles!

Mission 3: Create One of the Best Manga Series of All-Time!

Location: Inside Masashi Kishimoto's Mind
Time: Circa 1997 – present

Naruto's Akamaru Jump
version takes a break after chasing criminals...on his
bike!

The next couple of years were trying times for Kishimoto Sensei. After the Weekly Shonen Jump staff rejected numerous stories and ideas, a discouraged Kishimoto Sensei decided to draw about something he knew and loved—ramen!

"The first version was all about the secret ingredients in the soup,
but it went through a few [laughs] modifications and ended up as Naruto. The story ran in Akamaru Jump, and was very popular." – from Naruto: The Official Handbook

The first-ever published story of Naruto was a bit different. Naruto's personality is about the same, but the story is set in modern-day Japan! Since the story was a one-shot, Kishimoto Sensei kept developing new ideas, which were met with rejections—including a baseball manga! (Can you imagine going crazy over baseball manga instead of Naruto?!) He finally hit the jackpot with the Naruto story we know and love today, which made its Weekly Shonen Jump debut in 1999.

Mission 4: Invade the Global Village!

Location: Planet Earth
Time: Circa 2003 – present

A new magazine by the name of SHONEN JUMP made its North American debut in 2003. Naruto made its first U.S. appearance in the second issue of SHONEN JUMP. With its increased exposure, Naruto took America by storm and has never looked back!

Naruto's popularity has him on top of the world!

"I'm very glad that the American audience has accepted
and understood ninja. It shows that the American audience has good
taste… because it means that they can accept something previously
unfamiliar to them." – from Naruto Collector Winter 2007/2008

Although Japanese culture and ninjutsu may have been unfamiliar to an American audience, the story of a young boy seeking acceptance and fighting for his beliefs left a lasting impression.

Mission 5: Embrace the Future

Location: Everywhere
Time: Circa the Future!

So what's in store for Naruto and crew as the manga reaches its landmark tenth anniversary? Will Naruto overcome the Akatsuki threat? Will Naruto ever reach his friend Sasuke in time and save him from his despair? Only time will tell what will happen to Naruto, and all of us eagerly await each and every installment with bated breath.

Keep checking out the latest issue of SHONEN JUMP to find out what happens in Naruto!
SHONEN JUMP Issue 83

Naruto vs. PainTime for Naruto!
In Japan, Naruto's been shredding the scenery with jutsu and jokes for 10 years! Luffy and his pirate crew have battled against a motley assortment of baddies, from sharp-nosed Fish-Men to clowns with bad attitudes. But the foes they’ll face in the Grand Line, where only the strongest survive, will surely test their mettle. First up to bat is a showdown against Baroque Works, an underground criminal organization headed by Mr. Zero, a cranky croc out for world domination!

Mr. 5 and Ms. ValentineMalicious Mucous!

At the bottom rung of the Officer Agent
rankings stands a man with a dynamite body! The Boom-Boom fruit he’s
ingested has given this deadly assassin the ability to take any part of
his body and use it as an explosive—including his boogers!Weight Watcher

Mr. 5's partner in crime, Ms. Valentine, really
watches her figure. By eating the Kilo-Kilo fruit, she’s gained the
ability to fluctuate her weight at will. Using this to her advantage,
she can make herself light as feather to float away from an enemy
attack, or become as heavy as a 10,000-kilo hammer to crush her
opponents under her weight!

Mr. 4 and Ms. Merry Christmas Batter up!

Mr. 4 is in the big leagues with his picture-perfect
baseball swing. Although he isn't the brightest boy on the block, he
gets by with his brute strength. Along with his pet dog/pitching
machine Lassoo, a gun that somehow ate the Mutt-Mutt fruit, the
exploding baseballs he bats around are best to be avoided.Holy Moly!

Despite her middle-aged body racked with aches and pains,
Ms. Merry Christmas is one formidable… mole?! Having eaten the
Diggy-Diggy fruit, she can turn herself into a human mole with
extraordinary digging abilities. The holes she digs create an intricate
network of tunnels known as Moletown, which Mr. 4 can use to his
advantage to pop in and out of to surprise his foes.

Mr. 3 and Ms. Golden Week Waxing Poetic!

Mr. 3 isn’t just a manipulating schemer, he can also
manipulate the wax his body produces into a weapon. Having eaten the
Wax-Wax fruit, this deadly artist can also mold his opponents into
still-life models for his wax masterpieces.Color Me Sad

Mr. 3's partner is the cute and innocent-looking
Ms. Golden Week. The diminutive painter's prowess stems from her
brilliant use of color paints and its effects on her targets. Using
anything her enemies touch as a canvas, including the clothes on their
backs, she can control their moods with a stroke of her brush.

Mr. 2 and… Mr. 2The Ugly Duckling

With movements as graceful as a swan and a face
only a mother could love, Mr. 2 Bon Clay is an assassin who loves to entertain
his audience with dead-on impersonations. After eating the Clone-Clone
fruit, Mr. 2 Bon Clay obtained the ability to perfectly replicate anyone he
touches. Although he’s the only Officer Agent without a partner, he
more than makes up for it with his over-the-top personality and Oh Come
My Way karate.

Mr. 1 and Ms. DoublefingerCutthroat

Having partaken of the Dice-Dice fruit, Mr. 1 is a human
knife that can use his whole body as a blade. This sharp assassin has
taken down countless swordsmen in his life as a bounty hunter. The only
way to stop this ironclad rogue is to take the edge off his blade, but
in order to do so, one must be able to cut steel…Point to Make

Working double shifts can make a person a bit edgy,
and Ms. Doublefinger is no exception. Serving the Baroque Works'
members as the proprietress of Spider's Café while being Mr. 1's deadly
partner is no small feat. With her Spike-Spike fruit's powers, she can
produce spikes from any part of her body, so it's best not to ignore
this assassin when she’s trying to get her point across!

Mr. Zero and Ms. All SundayZero Tolerance!

The mastermind behind Baroque Works also happens to
be one of the Seven Warlords of the Sea. With a former bounty of 81
million Berries, fighting Mr. Zero (aka Crocodile) is no day at the
beach! With his Sand-Sand fruit powers, his body can turn itself and
anything it touches into sand. By the time the dust settles after any
skirmish with Mr. Zero, his opponents are usually left high and dry.Helping Hand

The most mysterious member of Baroque Works, Ms. All
Sunday has had a bounty of 79 million Berries on her head for 20
years. She possesses the power of the Flower-Flower fruit, allowing her
to sprout limbs on any surface. Ms. All Sunday also has the ability to
read the cryptic Ponegliffs, ancient stone tablets that can reveal the
secret weapons of the past.

The Straw Hats escapade through the deserts of Alabasta is one for the ages, and if you want to relive their life-and-death battles against Baroque Works, check out One Piece here!
SHONEN JUMP Issue 82

Enter the Infinite SlickBleach on DVD!
The DiamondDust Rebellion movie hits shelves this month. Stop worrying over your impending future of pain cuz it's time to get serious and start training. Kid Muscle from Ultimate Muscle has come a long way since his days as a pampered prince on Planet Muscle. Now he's one of the favorites to win the Superhuman Olympics. Let's take a closer look at the secrets behind Planet Muscle's royal legacy, Kid Muscle!

Eat Properly

Worrying needlessly over your diet will just make your head spin and get you nowhere. Kid Muscle's got great stamina, and we know the secret to his success — beef bowls! The perfect combination of carbs from rice and proteins from beef, beef bowls are a pack of dynamite energy in one complete and easy-to-eat meal! Even when Kid Muscle is losing a match, like his battle against Hollywood Bowl, the tempting smell of beef bowls helps motivate him to a comeback victory! However, eating copious amounts of beef bowls does have one drawback… flatulence!

Warm Up by Working Up a Sweat

Any real sports competitor knows the benefits of warming up and working up a good sweat. Sweating cools the body down from overheating. Plus, as Kid Muscle finds out from his three-legged race with the Yoneo, sweat can have other benefits as well. Although the odd couple looks to be a long shot to qualify, Yoneo finds that his sweat can help him cling to surfaces. With this advantage, the pair seems poised to grab the last remaining spot for the Superhuman Olympics Tournament, but standing in their way hoping to derail their chances is another Superhuman contestant, Coasterman!

Find Appropriate Sparring Partners

It's great to train your muscles and eat properly, but finding a good sparring partner can take you a long way in getting you ready for the Superhuman Olympics. Kid Muscle's been slacking quite a bit, so the fire in his belly isn't quite there. To give him a good wake-up call, Planet Muscle's leaders decide to give him some formidable training partners — three notorious criminals collectively known as No Respect! With their freedom on the line, Kid Muscle's opponents are willing to do everything and anything to win. Can Kid Muscle summon up the incredible strength of his family lineage to defeat these demented outlaws?

Trust Your Second

Any good wrestler has a dependable second giving him advice and encouragement from the sidelines. However, it does no good to have a partner that you can't trust. Whenever Kid Muscle finds himself in trouble, he relies on Meat's brains. However, Meat's not there to help out in Kid Muscle's match against Kevin Mask, so he finds a replacement with El Niño. But as he finds out in his match against Kevin in the finals, not trusting your second can mean the difference between sweet victory and bitter defeat.

Now that you've seen how a true Superhuman trains both body and mind, you should be ready to conquer the Superhuman Olympics! If you're still feeling a bit queasy, or just want a good quick laugh before a bout, then pick up Ultimate Muscle and exercise the muscle in your head!

Ultimate Muscle is rated T+. Does your hand twitch uncontrollably when you see a joystick? Do you have a hard time sleeping because you're busy working out new strategies to beat the final boss? Congratulations, you're a gamer! And this month we've got some real zingers for you! Everything from nostalgic boxing games reborn to WWII shooters, and even some starring plants and zombies!

Punch-Out!!

Mike Tyson's Punch-Out!! was one of the NES generation's most beloved games, and now Nintendo is banking on its continued appeal with a Wii remake. Once again, it's got pretty much nothing to do with the sport of boxing. Instead, every fight plays like an epic boss battle in which the player is forced to figure out his or her opponent's patterns and strategies. Old friends like Glass Joe, Piston Honda, and King Hippo make appearances, and the combination of twitch reflex and memorization will still get you to the top of the heap (new additions like Canadian strongman Bear Hugger — who drinks from a jug of maple syrup — are welcome as well). Here's a look at some of the characters you can play.

Itachi Uchiha

Sasuke's estranged brother who ruthlessly murdered their clan. He's a close-range fighter with a wide variety of ninjutsu. In Hyper Mode, his Tsukuyomi The Nightmare Realm is devastating.

Sasori

Sasori is the twisted grandson of Granny Chiyo from the Village Hidden in the Sand. Very slow, but extremely powerful, he's a long-range fighter who uses his tail to keep his opponents at bay. He has incredible defensive strength.

Read the rest of this article in the September issue of SHONEN JUMP!

Yu-Gi-Oh! TCG: Fear the Power of Ka!

Yu-Gi-Oh! TCG: Fear the Power of Ka! In last month's installment of the Yu-Gi-Oh! GX manga, you saw how Tragoedia came to be sealed in the royal tomb three thousand years ago. This shadow of the malevolent ka that binds Duelists to its will is lurking behind every card in your hand, just waiting for you to take Battle Damage so it can strike. Take a look at what this month's free card can do!

Boy Oh Goyo

Normally, "Tragoedia" wouldn't be useful for a Synchro Summon because it's a Level 10 monster, but if you take a Tuner from your opponent and then activate the final effect of "Tragoedia," you can change its Level to match any monster in your Graveyard! Pilfer a Level 3 Tuner, and you can quickly summon "Goyo Guardian" to take even more of your opponent's monsters! This effect can also help you sneak past tricky enemy Trap Cards like "Gravity Bind" that would otherwise stop "Tragoedia" from attacking!

Get the inside scoop on the latest Duelist Pack by reading the rest of this article in the September issue of SHONEN JUMP!
Slam Dunk: Life Ain't No Slam Dunk!

Life Ain't No Slam Dunk!Feeling blue because of yesterday's cold-hearted rejection? Comic-Con 2009!

SHONEN JUMP Vs. Comic-Con 2009!Like a giant rubber monster crashing through a set of miniature cardboard buildings, SHONEN JUMP rampaged across the normally peaceful seaside town of San Diego with one goal in our tiny brain—must get to Comic-Con. And after destroying half the town we finally made it. Here's what went down!

Feel the might and power of Comic-Con!

Comic-Con is a massive four day convention celebrating comics, manga, sci-fi, video games, manga, anime, toys, movies and a whole lot more. At Comic-Con, anything goes! It's the greatest show of the year!

It's estimated 120,000+ people attended this year!

And lots of people dress up like their favorite characters. The costumes range from reused store bought Halloween outfits to custom-made elaborate costumes costing thousands of dollars. And there were plenty of SJ characters seen running around.

A very convincing Kankuro, complete with authentic face paint!

The main draw for most people is walking the enormous show floor. There you'll find an overwhelming array of merchandise to buy: comics, clothes, action figures, plushies, posters, shirts and a million other things. Basically, there's something for everybody regardless of your tastes.

Wide-eyed with wonder the fans shuffle in a zombie-like fashion.

Beyond the floor, the show offers many other things for fans to do like attend exclusive screenings, signings, video game or card dueling tournaments and much more. But the biggest draw are the panels where they can see their favorite artists, creators, actors and directors, face to face. Some of these panels require fans to stand in line for hours! That's the power of love!

Panels are all the rage at Comic-Con!

And speaking of panels, the SHONEN JUMP panel was nothing short of earth shattering! When special guest Hiroyuki Takei entered the room a chorus of thunderous applause erupted and his very presence sent shockwaves of awesome through the crowd. Then the skies above split and the one and only Stan Lee arrived riding a horse made of pure lightning. Well not quite, but the light-hearted banter of these two legends showed how much affection and respect each had for the other and also showed their love and devotion to the comic creation they share—Ultimo.

You can find an astounding video of the panel and more right here!

Stan Lee and Hiroyuki Takei on the same panel!

From there, the dynamic duo sat in the VIZ Media booth literally making people's dreams come true by signing copies of SHONEN JUMP with Ultimo on the cover. The crowd was thick but respectful as these two legends sat side-by-side showing their appreciation for the legions of fans who adore them.

And after four days of total madness, Comic-Con comes to a close. Fans go home exhausted with bags full of comics, Batman costumes get put back in the closet, and San Diego goes back to normal—until next year!
One Piece: Our Friends at FUNimation Have an Announcement!

FUNimation Entertainment, Toei Animation, Shueisha and Fuji Television Announce Online Return of SHONEN JUMP's One Piece.

Anime Leaders to Continue Streaming Popular Anime Series, Including Latest Episode Immediately After Japanese Television Debut

Flower Mound, Texas - August 18 2009 — FUNimation® Entertainment and the Japanese consortium of producer Toei Animation Co., Ltd., publisher Shueisha, Inc. and broadcaster Fuji Television Network, Inc. have agreed to continue the U.S. and Canadian online simulcast of the studios' signature animated series "One Piece".

Starting Saturday, August 29th at 9:00 p.m. CDT, just one hour after airing in Japan, FUNimation and the consortium will mark the return of "One Piece" online simulcasts with the story of Amazon Lily Saga story arc episode 415, via the official One Piece website www.onepieceofficial.com followed soon thereafter by FUNimation partner sites.

Each new episode of the current season will be rolled out weekly as "One Piece" continues its Japanese television run.

In addition, beginning Friday, August 21st FUNimation will stream episodes from the Sabaody Archipelago Saga story arc starting with episode 391. 28)
A Smart Ninja Is a Successful Ninja

You don't have to be the sharpest shuriken around to be considered a good ninja, but it doesn't hurt to gather intelligence on your colleagues every once in a while. Plus, if you really want to climb up the ladder of the ninja ranks, then being well-informed is a must. After all, you wouldn't want a pea-brained ninja leading you into battle. Kakashi understands the value of knowledge, so you'll never find this jônin without a book in his hand. He has even trained Naruto and company while reading! Now that's what we call dedication! So if you're truly ambitious, read up on anything and everything, since knowing your enemy can give you the edge in any battle!

Leave a good impression! (Vol. 8)

A Well-Groomed Ninja Is a Respectable Ninja

One of the most effective ways to make sure you catch the eye of your fellow kunoichi... er, ninja comrades is to take care of your personal appearance. If clothes make the ninja, then you'll want to pay attention to your battle gear. What you wear can be both practical and stylish, so have fun with your ninja wardrobe. Kakashi certainly gets the idea. One look at his cool hair and vest would make any ninja wide-eyed with admiration. Plus, Kakashi's stylish way of wearing his headband not only gives him an air of mystery, it also covers his Sharingan eye while he's not fighting.
Conclusion? Kakashi has without a doubt proven himself to be a great ninja, one capable of becoming Hokage someday. Learn from his example by reading all of Naruto, and you'll be well on your way to achieving ninja fame!
Yu-Gi-Oh! 5D's: Your Ticket to the Dueling Stadium

Your Ticket to the Dueling StadiumThis fall, practice your Dueling skills along with Yusei Fudo and Jack Atlas right in your own living room. One of the strongest Trap Cards ever created, "Mirror Force" has been a favorite card in top tournament Decks for seven years (except for its brief inclusion on the Forbidden List). You've probably wished for enough copies to put one in each of your Decks, but its popularity has always made it a hard card to track down. You've witnessed the Great Spirit and survived. You've even assembled your three-man team and joined in the competition. The path to becoming the Shaman King is a long and arduous one, so now is not the time to let your guard down, for the real fight is about to begin.

The one who takes the title will gain the Great Spirit as an ally, and with it all the knowledge and power of every soul born on Earth. Knowing your opponent is only half the battle in the Shaman Fight, so prepare wisely. Let's take a closer look at some of the competition you're likely to face in the near future!

"Wooden Sword" Ryu, Faust VIII
and Yoh Asakura
Team Funbari Hot Springs

Leader: Yoh Asakura
Spirit Ally: Amidamaru
A boy with a dream, a punk with a
pompadour and a demented doctor form this unheralded group. Competitors be warned: Don't underestimate this team! Team Funbari Hot Springs has
succeeded where most have failed, holding their
own against Hao and his minions. Armed with Faust's overpowering love
for his Spirit Ally Eliza, "Wooden Sword" Ryu's rugged resolve, and Yoh's dream of living in comfort, this tournament dark horse just
might reach the summit against all odds!

Joco, Tao Ren and Horohoro

Team Ren

Leader: Tao Ren
Spirit Ally: Bason
Ren was once a ruthless shaman who thought nothing of annihilating his
enemies, but he has changed his ways ever since his humbling defeat at the hands of Yoh Asakura. Now, together
with Horohoro and Joco, Ren is determined to carve his name into
history as the next Shaman King. Although Ren suffered a near-fatal wound
in a skirmish against Hao's underlings, he has emerged from his near-death experience stronger than ever by boosting his Mana up 50,000 points!

Hao and his followers

Hoshi-Gumi

Leader: Hao
Spirit Ally: Spirit of Fire
Because of his numerous reincarnations throughout the past millennium, Hao has raised his Mana level to astronomical proportions. With an army of elite shaman at his beck and call and the Spirit of Fire by his side, Hao presents a daunting challenge to anyone who stands in his way. Anyone willing to square off against his Mana level of 1,250,000 must be either incredibly brave or foolish.

Lyserg, Lady Jeanne and Marco
X-Laws: Team X-I

Leader: Lady Jeanne
Spirit Ally: Shamash
The X-Laws have, in the name of justice,
dedicated themselves to preventing Hao’s rise to power. But take heed — their apparent
benevolence masks a lack of tolerance toward those who do not share their standards of righteousness, and they will destroy any wrongdoer using the
power of their Angel Spirit Allies. Lady Jeanne, leader of Team X-1, has vowed to eliminate Hao once and for all and take mankind’s suffering upon herself. As proof of her resolve, she subjects herself to gruesome torture inside her iron maiden, an act that also increases her Mana.

Meene, Cebin and Venstar
X-Laws: Team X-III

Leader: Venstar
Spirit Ally: Metatron
This X-Law team, part of the overall X-Laws faction headed by Lady Jeanne, is nothing to scoff at, as evidenced by their incredible Mana levels and their intimidating Spirit Allies. Their leader Venstar is a righteous man who wields Metatron as his Spirit Ally. Team X-III's strength lies in their determination to defeat Hao, but is that enough to snuff out the Spirit of Fire? Even against seemingly impossible odds, this group's willingness to stake their lives for their cause make them a most dangerous opponent.

Against such competition, the average Shaman would likely find himself quaking with fear. But you have a dream, and you'll do whatever it takes to fulfill it! So grab hold of your shaking knees and let the games begin!

Tip: To get more intel on other teams participating in the Shaman Fight, run to your nearest Patch Gift Shop (aka bookstore!) and nab all the copies of Shaman King you can get your hands on! Got enough stuff to play? We've got suggestions this month that'll make sure you've got something to feed your console, whatever it may be. From ghost-filled fun to superhero mayhem, you won't be bored. For one, you have much more flexibility in deciding how your Sims look (there are separate sliders for both musculature and body fat, for example), and every adult Sim now has five distinct Traits that define their personality (Jock, Paranoid, etc). Oh, and while you still control one household at a time, your neighbors advance alongside you in every conceivable way: A downtown lets you shop, eat and otherwise socialize with the other Sims. There's also a brand-new movie mode that lets you create your own Sim sitcom/action film that others can watch online.

Hint: Yes, you still have to remember to go to the bathroom.

Read the rest of the reviews in this section in the August issue of SHONEN JUMP!

© Electronic Arts

SHONEN JUMP Issue 80

The Beast Unleashed!The Battle Continues!
With Konoha destroyed and the Leaf ninja on the ropes, Naruto's fighting Pain with everything he's got!
