The Show Pony Show is all indoors, so if its raining or if you can fry an egg on the sidewalk, you can be comfortable and still enjoy the show!

The Show Pony Show will feature some of the most fun, unique & fashionable hand crafted goods in our area! Come out shop the show and enjoy some free entertainment from 11am to 7pm this Sunday!

Just a few of the exciting things happening at the show:

Over 35 artists & craftsmen with their handmade goods including apparel, jewelry, handbags, housewares, glasswork, candles, childrens items, and more!
Swing Dance demonstration by Acme Swing Dance Group-- the Dallas Swing Dance Society's group (www.dsds.org)
A REAL pony for photo opps ($8 for 1/$15 for 2) from noon to 2pm
An interactive craft that is a progressive craft-- meaning different stations around the show so you can shop, make something & your kids can too!
Raffle featuring tons of great items to support La Reunion Texas (www.lareuniontx.org)-- from all the vendors, sponsors and a few super cool items! Tickets are $2 for 1 or $5 for 3
Donate your old electronics for a good cause! Come by and drop off your old equipment to LaReunion-- who will be set up at the show

Sunday is going to be Swinging!

Come see a killer swing dance demonstration at the Show this Sunday! The Acme Swing Company will be there to show off their skills and add a bit of hop to the show! Performers will be displaying swing dances for show go-ers!

Come enjoy a bit of free entertainment and support local Dallas swing dancing this Sunday, do some shopping (just in time for back-to-school), or enjoy one of the other great activities we'll be having!

Electronic Donation table

Do you have electronic items you are no longer using? Bring them to the Show Pony Show.

La Reunion will be running an electronic donation table. They will be accepting used print cartridges, old computers, and the like for recycling with donateIt. So bring out items to support a wonderful cause!

We're so excited about the raffle and all of the amazing prizes, we just have to mention it again! The Show Pony Show is hosting a raffle to support La Reunion (www.lareuniontx.org)- a local Dallas charity who's mission is to create an arts residency in Dallas that inspires, sustains, and renews artists and community through education and outreach.

The tickets are just $2 for 1 or $5 for 3 tickets! The lucky winners will receive one of many prizes donated by our fabulous vendors and sponsors! Just a couple examples at the wonderful prizes we'll have to give out to the lucky winners!

The Show Pony Show will have an amazing raffle with the proceeds going to La Reunion, a Dallas non-profit organization. The La Reunion mission is "to create an arts residency in Dallas that inspires, sustains, and renews artists and community through education and outreach."

We're excited to announce that we will be working with the Etsy Dallas street team on a progressive craft project during the show!

You may be wondering what the heck a progressive craft is-- think progressive dinner but with craft supplies and a project. We'll have tables among different areas in the show where you (or your children--its kid friendly!) will be able to create a special little project. Each area will be placed among different areas in the show, so as you shop you can also have fun and craft! The members of the Etsy Dallas street team will be manning the tables and helping organize the project.

We hope you can join in the fun -- be sure to check it out at the show on Aug. 17th!

Here are a few FAQ's from some recently received emails--

Is the show indoors or outdoors?

Don't worry! We're not even crazy enough to try an outdoor show in August in TX! We'll be comfortably indoors at the Continental Lofts in Deep Ellum -- check out the map here

Are the Continental Lofts a private or public space?

The space is owned by Continental Lofts-- but it is a public space inside the building. We hope to have plenty of room for shopping & fun

Will there be entertainment or events at the show?

Progressive craft (think Progressive Dinner but with a fun activity!)
Listen to sweet beats by a guest DJ
Enjoy the art installment by local artists (on display 8/15-8/30)

What type of show is this?

This is an indie-shopping show. Not particularly any style-- not western, rockabilly, etc.. it is a show that will feature quality handmade merchandise-- we're looking for variety of types of products that are high quality. We want to try and have a nice variety of items and price points for our shoppers to make it a truly successful event for all involved
