When I first saw this hand cranked paper shredder I thought it was a joke. I am still not sure what the point of this is – as it only shreds two or three sheets at a time. I guess if you have only a few sheets to destroy each month and you are really…. really green that you might want this for you light home office use.

But then again – if you only had a few sheets to shred – then I doubt it would be a big deal to just tear or cut up the sheets into tiny pieces on that rare day.

Still – this little shedder might be practical if your shredding needs took you off site or out of doors when you were detached from electricity. Which is not all that far fetched, seeing that one could have mobile phone, laptop – yet no electricity.

Maybe a outside sales person could use this as a mobile shredder for the car. Who knows? For that reason we are including it here in our shredder reviews.

A true MACHINE in every sense. Think about it – in today’s 21st century we do not have machines in our offices. Gone are the days of mechanical typewriters or mechanical adding machines that need servicing and maintenance. If our computer breaks – we throw it out.
