The C-kink in dashney has been relocated to the bottom of the trail. Also its been slightly modified. So check it out.

SUNDAY SHRED SERIES/ PHOTO SHOOT

Today starts the sunday shred series. which will be held every sunday until the end of the season. This year is going to be a bit different the last year. The shred series is open to every one this year. A 15 and under category and a 16 and above category. The top photos from each event will be posted on our new photo gallery (which will be launched with these photos). Register today between 12:30 and 12:50. Comp starts at 1:00 pm. It will be held on the butter to down box, located in dashney mile. If you dont feel like being invovled in the photoshoot, just hang out and watch the show.

There have been a few modifications done to the park over the past few days. We have changed the landing to the up box and added a few rails at the end. So make sure that you cruise through and check everything out before hitting the features. ALSO starting this sunday: the sunday shred series is back! However, this year its also going to be combined with a photo shoot. So not only will you be out there throwing down, you got yourself a chance to get on the shredburke website. See you at Burke.

The parks are in amazing shape thanks to some warm weather and a little bit of snow. However though, make sure to cruise through and check out the new features we added before trying to hit them. Look before you leap.

The new Dashney Mile is up and running. A lot has been changed in the park so make sure you go through and scope out the features before hitting them. The weather is supposed to stay cold so make sure you dress warm to ensure as many Dashney laps as possible. Also, while your out shredding make sure to stop and thank your local park staff.

We are currently in the process of rebuilding Dashney Mile. Dashney has been closed for the last few days so we could blow some extra snow in there and make sure Dashney is back in action. The park will be open tomorrow, so make your way to Burke this weekend and ride the new and improved Dashney Mile.

Dashney Mile will be closed today at Noon, and will stay close through tomorrow. It will be re-open again for Thursday. Final tweaks will be done through out thursday, with everything be ready to go for Friday. So make sure YOU shred Burke this weekend.

RAIN, RAIN, GO AWAY. With warm weather, rain and high winds in the forcast, Burke has decieded to close for the day. Don't worry though, when this unfortunate weather passes, the park crew will be hard at work to make sure there is something for all you Shredders out there. So rest up, because we will be ready.

The conditions in the park are great thanks to the warm weather, which should be around all weekend. So grab your gear and get to Burke. While your here, make sure to check out the small features on the J-bar. The J-bar park is a small terrain park that encourages learning to hit rails while providing an area to progress before making your way to the bigger parks. See you at Burke.

This Saturday is the Dashney Mile Style. This slopestyle competition is open for skiers and snowboarders from ages 8 - 16! So come to Burke this weekend and show off your talent. Also Dashney is being changed around for this weekend so the course is going to be a bit different. So make sure you scope around the new features before trying to impress the judges. Well the snow keeps falling and is not expected to stop for a few days! The combination of fresh snow and excellent grooming has left the park in great shape and is only getting better. DASHNEY IS OPEN! If you were at Burke this weekend then you know how much fun it is to be taking "d- block" laps again. Last night Steve was busy in the groomer helping us fix a few things with the park that didn't ride just right. So next time your in the park make sure to scope out the features again. Both of the bigger jumps have been pushed a little taller, the flat rail, wall ride and U-box all have new transitions to them. So be safe and check out the features before throwing your best trick. Enjoy.

As the weekend comes to an end, so does our time on the training hill. By next weekend we will have dashney mile open. So rest your legs this week, but be ready to be taking park laps by the weekend.

Yes its true Burke will be open this weekend, however, the park will not be open until halfway through the day. Due to a break in the snow making line we haven't been able to make as much snow as we would like. So we are going to make snow all night and build the park tomorrow morning. So sleep in, have a big breakfast, and be ready to get your jib on by the afternoon.

Winter is finally here and we couldn't be more exicted! Thank you to Kingdom Trails for donating lumber which was used to build a wall ride (pictured below). So anytime you see anyone from Kingdom Trails, give them a high five and make sure to say thanks. Also a big thanks to Dave Lassen, who will be painting the wall ride. Thanks to Steve Mahon and Justin Williams as well for the help building the wall ride
Along with the wall ride, we have two new bonks, an up rail, and a new flat down rail(all pictured below). The flat down rail has a 10 foot flat to 16 foot down and its ready for you. Are you ready for it?
Burke will be open this weekend and to make sure all you freestyle kids are happy, there will be a rail garden at the bottom of the training hill. So dust off that bag of tricks and we will see you this weekend at Burke!
