Hi guys! I’m taking a short break from editing Sugarpill product shots to post these fun pics from my friend Tina’s bachelorette party last month. I haven’t goofed off all week, so I’m allowed this one! :-)

We got a room at Hotel Valencia and hung out with THIS GUY. Scary fact: Katie did not buy this blow-up doll specifically for Tina’s party. She ALREADY HAD IT LYING AROUND HER HOUSE. **shudder!!** (His mouth was grossing me out, so I flipped it inside out to make it look like he was whistling instead of um, sucking).

Emily showed up with a scavenger hunt!!

We went downstairs so Tina could complete the scavenger hunt in the hotel bar.

“#2. Get 3 men’s business cards (or napkins will do) with their marriage advice or philosophy on marriage written on the back.”

“Compromise.” “Wear a lot of thongs.”

Oh god… you don’t want to know what these guys had to say.

“Have sex with as many as you can before you get married.” As you can see, the bar we chose boasted the highest caliber of gentlemen.

“#1. Score a condom OR ask for change for the condom machine.” This guy immediately knew we were up to something because of the flashing cameras, haha!

But he gave Tina a condom anyway!

I was telling my friends the trick to looking thin in photos is to take a step back. Tina took it too far and looks like a tiny leprechaun, while I’m left looking like a giant balloon-head!!

We thought this would be impossible, but I can’t believe how easy guys are! It took Tina like, less than 30 seconds to convince this guy to take off his underwear.

HAHA! She tried to give them back, but he didn’t want them. Gross!!!

It was kind of nice not having Twitter for a few days because we were FINALLY able to finish the Sugarpill website this weekend! All I have left to do is re-take product shots for a few colors that I decided to change at the last minute after getting feedback and constructive criticism from some very nice, helpful people. Man I’m so nervous! I am scared to launch because knowing me, I’ll be like “Oh shit I should have done this differently…” after the fact.

Anyway, I have tons of work to do today. Hope everyone has a great day!

Check me out blogging again! Here are some pictures from New Years Eve. For the past few years I’ve been so over going out on NYE because everything is overpriced, overcrowded and ends up being the same as any other night except everyone is wearing party hats and those 00 glasses. I was contemplating staying home again this year with a bucket of jalapeno poppers and watching the Twilight Zone marathon. But Jessica was in town so we decided to head to the Uptown for a few drinks. It wasn’t too packed and sweaty and gross, so we ended up having fun!

Wow, I’ve totally neglected you, blog! I know I know, I’ve been really internet anti-social, and everyone is mad at me for taking so long to launch the Sugarpill site. But it ain’t easy trying to launch a second business when the first one keeps you on your toes full-time! And I had to fly to Isla Mujeres in the middle of all this madness because one of my best friends got married. OH and there is that pesky thing called sleep! Why can’t there be more hours in a day, more days in a week? I promise not to leave the house until the site is DONE!!! And it’ll be totally worth the wait.

On Saturday Blair and I went to the Miss Trannyshack Star Search Pageant at DNA Lounge. I haven’t been to a Trannyshack event in years since they stopped doing their weekly party, so it was really nice to see everyone. Except that me and Blair are old farts now, don’t drink, skip the afterpartying, and go straight to bed after the show, haha.

Blair’s in town from New York for the holidays! On Friday we went to the release party for Glam Gender, a really beautiful photo book a bunch of our friends modeled for. The party was held in a fancy old mansion in San Francisco. I wanted a tour of the mansion so badly, I must have sounded like such a gold digger asking everyone, “Do you know where I can find the man who lives here? How can I meet him? What does he do? Is he hot?” But I was just curious, I swear!

Check out this house!!! See, I wasn’t fuckin’ around when I said it was good. I am very impressed by chandeliers. And that’s a cute portrait of Jason hanging on the wall.


Blair and me hanging outside by the PILLARS! I want to be super obnoxious and fill my house with pillars and chandeliers when I get rich. I never cared much for designer clothing, bags or shoes, just give me some pillars and a sparkly chandelier and I’ll be content shopping at Goodwill and eating ramen for the rest of my life. I’m easy to please.

Hi, this is Remy! My sister adopted him from a Bengal rescue last month. Apparently someone was breeding cats, neglecting them, and keeping them in small cages where they’d poo and pee themselves. The kitties were rescued and now they are trying to find homes for the little guys. Remy was skinny and has some health problems (he sneezed in my eyes and my face turned into a swollen red puffball!!) but he’s getting better everyday. He is so beautiful and sweet! I was pleasantly surprised by how quickly he warmed up to us, considering he hadn’t experienced so much interaction with people before. He’s an angel and has made my sister’s home so happy!!

UPDATE!! My sister received this e-mail from the nice lady who rescued these bengals. Remy’s old pals need your help!!

“We have an emergency situation and need help. One of the Lancaster cats, who is currently in the LA area is really sick w/IBD. We need to find him help. We also need to find a foster home for him who can help get him through this. He has gone to the vet about the problem a couple of times, but the diets the vet put him on has not worked. It would be wonderful if someone in Southern CA could help with this boy, foster him and help him regain his health. He is bonded to another cat who has no health problems and needs to go with him.

If no one can help, then we are desperate for transport. We will need someone who can transport him from the LA area back up to Lancaster on Wednesday AM.

Please contact me ASAP if you can help either by fostering and/or transporting Edison and his buddy Tattoo. You can see them both on the Lancaster page:
