Unfortunately we can not reveal the results of our investigation until our fellow Big-Headed Asians Twinkie Chan and Maria Locketship measure their heads in the same room as us. We don’t want to tell them our results because they might CHEAT!! ;-)

The original plan was to go out dancing after dinner, but everyone was soooo exhausted we pretty much started dropping like flies at the restaurant. Bebe was the first.

Day 2 of Haus of Super Shimmer featuring Sugarpill, Jessica Louise, Audrey Kitching, Chubby Bunny and JapanLA was pure amazingness! The theme of the day was “Shiny Outfit Party,” and boy do my friends not disappoint. It was also our longest work day (10 hours!) so a lot of people packed outfit changes for nighttime. If you actually look through all the photos in this post chronologically, you’ll see them getting shinier and shinier as day turns into night. Fun!

L.A. was a superduper blast! We headed down for Haus of Super Shimmer, a 3-day party at Space 15Twenty featuring Sugarpill, JapanLA, Jessica Louise, Audrey Kitching, and Chubby Bunny.

Kevin and I drove in pretty late on Thursday. We got a room at a motel in the middle of nowhere that was closest to the Burbank Airport where we’d have to pick up Tess the next morning. As soon as we went to bed and Kevin fell asleep, the mini fridge started making awful groaning sounds! And not the regular hum that you’d expect from a fridge. It sounded like it was in pain, and I swear I could make out the voices of 100 dead souls trapped inside crying for help! I kept nudging Kevin and saying “There it is again! Did you hear it?!” but of course it would stop every time Kevin woke up.

After about an hour, the evil fridge finally calmed down and I managed to drift off to sleep. But then!! The people upstairs decided to start humping very loudly. Mattress squeaking, headboard banging against the wall, lots of giggling. After they were done, I heard what sounded like chains being dragged on the floor for about 20 minutes. Wow uhh…

We checked outta there sooo fast the next morning and got a much cuter room at the Beverly Laurel in Hollywood. No haunted fridge, yay! Although… there WAS a framed portrait of Jada Pinkett Smith looking totally mad hanging over the toilet, but that I can handle.

Each day of Haus of Super Shimmer had a different dress-up theme. Friday was Zoolander Walk-Off, Saturday was the Shiny Outfit Contest, and Sunday was Sugarpill Makeovers. I was such a stress-case on Friday! I showed up late due to an unfortunate incident involving an OCC Lip Tar that exploded on my face, made the mess worse by trying to fix it with an unsharpened lipliner, then finally gave up and went to the party looking like Ronald McDonald. I don’t want to talk about it!!

One of my all-time favorite places to eat in San Francisco is Frjtz! They’re known for their amazing spicy garlic fries and 20+ crazy fancy dipping sauces. I had to take my friends!

I just watched the Runaways last nite, what did you guys think of it? I thought it was pretty decent, somewhere between “OK” and “Good.” I didn’t expect to ever find myself thinking that Kristen Stewart is hot, but well, she kind of is. :-} But disclaimer: ONLY when she’s not moping around being rescued by vampires and topless werewolves!!! I only like her when she’s being a cute dyke.

Anyway, rumour has it that Yume and Alcuin love us, because they drove up from L.A. to visit for the weekend. We had no choice but to celebrate our friendship over sundaes at Fentons!

For Jasmine’s birthday, Tess and I searched far and wide for places to take her where there would be lots of HOT single guys for Jasmine to make out with. After discovering that no such place exists, we ended up at Bootie! (Trust me, we searched… Google suggested Home Depot, football games, sports bars, neighborhood picnics, and SQUARE DANCES!! No thanks)

Oh my god. These two funny guys were trying to dance with us ALL NIGHT! They were … unique.

We politely scooted away from them, so they ended up dancing with each other.

Of all the gross shit that goes down in clubs (creepy guys grinding up against us, people peeing on bathroom walls), THIS is what gets in trouble. We were approached by a bouncer who told us to “keep it clean” hahaha.

Of course, we had to sneak in a few more pictures before keepin it clean. Choo choo!
